"With whom you were talking? If not then why did you put the call on hold?", Shivaay asked when Anika connected the call again with him
"I was talking with our family doctor. I called him in Oberoi mansion ", Anika told. Shivaay told her it was not needed to which Anika replied that it was her wish. Shivaay didn't say anything then. He was not having any words left to speak.
"Should I tell you about my decorations or do you want to take a rest?", Anika asked to which Shivaay replied positively. He told her that he want to hear what she have to tell him.
"Shivaay see I sent you a few images. Look you know this place right? How it is looking?", Anika asked. Shivaay put the phone on speaker and checked what Anika send him. He smiled when he checked every photograph, he is always impressed because of her decorations and especially her efforts
"Wow, Anika. You gave it a royal look", Shivaay told as he is impressed by her decorations again.
"I know but still Thank you", Anika replied with a smile hearing his compliment. They both talked for some more time regarding how Anika spent her day till noon. Most of the time Shivaay just hummed in response as he was finding it difficult to give a reply. Anika looked at the road and noticed her office is near but she was not willing to end the call as well. She won't know if he will let her or not.
"I... I reached", Anika stammered when the driver parked the car near her office. Shivaay declined the call without giving a reply as he was a little sleepy because of the medicine effect and understood her side as well that as an employee she can't keep talking with someone in the office
"Good morning sir", Anika wished her boss as she directly went towards her boss's cabin.
"Good morning. Prepare designs for this and I have sent you some locations. Check them and make sketches of what decorations will look like", her boss told and gave her one file containing a few photographs and white pages. Anika picked file slowly and looked at him nervously as she is hesitant to ask this again when she is new in his office and no boss gives that independence to an employee
"Sir... Can... I work from.. home. I will mail you... your designs on time", Anika stammered and looked down in nervousness
"And why so? Even yesterday you took holiday.", her boss asked angrily
"I'm sorry for that... But can you please help me? it's Very urgent to reach Oberoi mansion", Anika asked without telling him her exact reason to go back
"Complete this work first and then go. This is an office, not your home. One of these sights is for decorating the hall for the award function held next week. The host of that award asked a few companies to prepare designs", her boss told showing her the same file which Anika picked a minute ago. Anika nodded as she don't have any other option left. She now has to complete this work first before reaching Oberoi Mansion and she can't even guess how much time it will take as she didn't check the sites
"But I have one more project there I already told you", Anika said when she realised her boss talked about the same award show, where she want to come
"Yes, and you can't leave it at any cost because they are well known but the designs of the hall are also important. Once you design them, then everything will be in my, and the worker's hands. Also, it depends if our designs are selected", her boss replied. Anika nodded and left from there after picking up the file. This work is normal as it's just one file but when she has to leave early this little work is looking too much now. She checked pictures and nothing came to her mind for decoration because of stress
She placed her head on the table in worry with closed eyes as she felt that she is not a designer, her eyes moistened as first Shivaay's thought came into her mind and then her work. After a minute she decided to call Shivaay as she know only he can remove her stress and then she will get unique designs. Shivaay picked phone on the second ring
"Were you sleeping ?", asked Anika to which Shivaay replied no as he was going through some emails on his laptop. He was getting bored and was feeling heavy to stand up for a walk so he started using the laptop to pass his time. The doctor already told him to take a rest and went a minute ago.
"What are you doing?", Anika asked
"First tell me you are coming back hana?", he asked
"No. Boss asked me to complete work before going but I am not getting any unique idea Shivaay", Anika told her problem to Shivaay in a low voice
"Then check your old designs or... Just try to think what is the theme which people can't think of", Shivaay suggested
"Like?", Anika asked in confusion
"Aare something which could make us land to some other planet or could make us feel happy by just seeing decorations. Something which could speak by just one look", Shivaay told
"Ok. I will try to think of something like this. Now take a rest, please. I will come very soon and then in 2 days I have holidays", Anika told softly and declined the call Immediately and sighed in relief. She was having a doubt about what if he was angry which is removed now. She went through the location again and started to think about what she can add here to attract everyone. After some time she got an idea and started working on it.
She designed a rough sketch and completed her leftover work hurriedly. After completing she informed her boss about her work. He let her go and told her to mail some documents once she get time. Anika told him that she will send him till night as even writing an email will take time and she can't waste her time more
It was already evening when Anika came back and entered thier room. She placed the juice bottle and her bag on the table. She noticed Shivaay sleeping and smiled as he take a rest very rare.
He always keeps on working without listening to anyone. Anika sat near him and checked his forehead, she noticed his eyes were tightly closed eyes which relaxed when she moved her hand on his cheeks
"I know you are awake", Anika said as she understood he is just acting otherwise nobody give that pressure on his eyes to keep them close
"Yes but I was resting.", Shivaay told and tried sitting down but Anika gestured for him to stop and helped him to sit comfortably. She asked him to check her temperature, Shivaay nodded and asked Anika to sit back
"You still have a fever of 101°", Anika told and helped him to lie down again. She rubbed her hand on his cheeks softly and left from there. After some time she came back with cold water and cloth.
"Can I use your laptop? I have work from the office so I will complete it here", Anika asked to which Shivaay nodded. She thanked him and kissed his cheek Shivaay smiled as he always feel her love through her actions. But Again he is in confusion about whom she gives more priority him or work?
His thoughts broke when Anika placed a wet cloth on his forehead. Shivaay placed his head on her lap. Anika put water aside and ruffled his hair softly, Shivaay looked at her with confusion which was visible on his face. She removed the cloth from his forehead and asked
"It is paining more? ", Anika asked with concern. Shivaay shooked his head and held her hand in his, Anika put a wet cloth on his forehead again using her other hand. She guessed that maybe he is feeling very weak in fever just like Sahil feels whenever he is sick. Even Sahil lay his head on her lap but with Shivaay situation is different as she never felt the urge to kiss all over his face just like she is feeling for Shivaay
"You were working? ", Anika asked showing him his laptop. She already knew the password but there was no need to type the password even as he closed the laptop just now as per her guess
"No. I..", Shivaay stammered
"Before you try to fool me see the timing when your presentation was saved last", Anika told angrily showing the laptop to him. She thought she will charge the laptop till Shivaay sleeps and opened the laptop to check the battery percentage when his presentation opened
"Sorry. I was getting bored Anika. I was not even sleepy. You came late", Shivaay replied
"You should be. Now you will not touch the laptop... I tried Shivaay but the boss didn't let me go", Anika told
"Ok but now you will also not go anywhere", Shivaay said
"Ok boss. Anything else", Anika asked. Shivaay shooked his head in response
"I don't want to leave you Shivaay. May God bless you every time and in every field", Anika said and kissed his forehead. Shivaay smiled as her words cleared his confusion regarding him being more important than work.
"My boss asked me to make a rough design for that award function..just imagine what if they used my design", Anika said. Shivaay looked at her shocked as he thought her boss will not give her this task. Like him who gave this task to that designer who was working with him for years
"Then I will be happiest", Shivaay told her. Anika nodded and told him that she got the Idea after talking with him. Shivaay smiled to be the reason for her inspiration
