(Wall Maria)
In the Yeager residence Eren and Roman were seen playing with Armin and the three kids were having alot of fun. Roman had grown up along side Eren since their parents were very good friends so they naturally liked each other as well. Roman and Eren had met Armin when they were 5. people bully Armin because he wants to see the outside world and not live inside the walls so Eren and Roman have to protect him. The two boys walk over to their friend who was reading a book.
Roman:"Hey Armin what you reading?"
Armin:"A book about what's outside the walls. They say that there is an ocean out there and I dream of seeing it one day"
Eren:"Well then we'll make sure that dream of your's comes true! Right Roman?"
Roman:"You bet!"
Armin smiles at his two friends.
Eren:"We'll get to see the ocean once we become scouts and then we can finally get to explore the outside with our odm gear!"
He says picking up a stick.
Eren:"We'll free humanity and become heroes! Everyone will know about us!"
He says swinging his stick.
Roman:"Calm down there Eren. I want to join the scouts as much as you do but will our parents really let us join?"
Eren starts thinking.
Roman:"I already asked my mom and she said no"
Eren:"Mine said I should give up on that dream and choose another job"
Eren looks down in defeat and Armin looks sad. Roman starts speaking once again.
Roman:"But who's to say they won't change their minds and let us become scouts"
Eren:"No one"
Roman:"Then let's try our best to join the scouts!"
He says putting his fist into the air.
Eren:"I'm with you on this one Roman!"
He says also putting his hand into the air with almost as much confidence as Roman.
Armin:"Y-Yeah you guys are right!"
He says also putting his hand in the air but he's lacked any form of confidence. Just as they finished talking Roman's dad arrives home. Roman notices his father and he shouts his name.
Roman:"Dad!"
He says running at his father. He jumps on his father's arms who catches him.
Roman:"I missed you!"
Felix:"I missed you too Roman"
Felix puts Roman onto the ground.
Roman:"Dad why are you back so early?"
Felix:"Well I was sent a message that a farm needed my help with making repairs so I decided to come early so I start my journey"
Roman:"Oh.... Can I come with you?"
Felix:"I will be there for a long time are you sure about coming along?"
Roman:"Yes I won't mind waiting"
Felix ruffles Roman's hair.
Felix:"Well if you say so"
Felix walks inside of their house and he talks to Roman's mother about taking him to the farm with him. Nora was Abit reluctant but she agreed. Roman was over joyed and when his father came out of the house he followed him. The two walked outside the walls and onto a horse carriage.
As the horse was walking to their destination Felix decided to have start talking to his son.
Felix:"So Roman what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Roman:"I want to join the scouts! But mom won't let me"
Felix:"Are you sure you want to join them? Alot of people lose their lives by being part of the scouts"
Roman:"I'm positive! I want to help humanity face off against titans and there's nothing that will change my mind!"
He says determined to join the scouts.
Felix:"Well if that's what you want to be then I'll support you all the way. I'll even talk to your mother to see if she might change her mind"
Roman:"Really?! Thank you dad!"
He says hugging his father which makes his father chuckle.
Felix:"Don't worry about it you know I'm the greatest father"
The horse starts to pickup speed so they can get there faster and after a little longer they arrive. Felix and Roman get out and they are immediately greeted by a man.
Man:"Welcome Mr Jagger it is an honor to have you here"
He says putting his hand out which Felix accepts.
Felix:"The pleasure is all mine"
The man then notices Roman hiding behind his father.
Man:"And who is this young lad?"
Felix:"Oh this is my son Roman. say hi Roman"
Roman:"Hi"
Man:"Hello there young boy"
Felix:"Now what do you need me to fix?"
Man:"Straight to the point okay but first we can't leave your son all alone so he should meet the other kids"
Felix:"There are other children?"
Man:"Yes they are by the burns with their older sister"
He says pointing to the barn.
Felix:"Roman you wouldn't mind if I leave you to play with the kids while I go help?"
Roman:"I won't"
Felix walks Roman over to the Barn before walking with the man. Roman walks in and he sees a group of kids playing with each other.
???:"ALRIGHT QUIET DOWN!"
A loud feminine voice shouted. Roman looked at the source of the voice and he saw a teenager with black hair,gray eyes a hat and wearing a white shirt and green skirt.
She was the oldest looking in the group as their was no one else that as tall or mature looking as her. The kids stopped making noise and they turned to her.
???:"Okay everyone go to your horses before mom and dad get mad!"
The kids turned to the door which I was standing at and they started running. Roman started panicking and jumped out of the kids way landing on a hay bale.
???:"Are you okay?"
Roman looks up at the girl.
Roman:"Yeah. A little help?"
He says putting his hand up. The girl pulls him to his feet.
Roman:"Thanks I'm Roman by the way"
Christa:"I'm Christa Lenz. It's nice to meet you"
Roman looks at Christa for a few seconds before walking closer to her.
Roman:"You're cute"
He says bluntly.
Christa:"W-what?"
She says flustered.
Roman:"Yeah your adorable. Why aren't you hanging out with your friends?"
Christa:"Oh no one wants to be friends with me"
She says looking down in sadness. Roman felt bad.
Roman:"Hey I can be your friend"
Christa looks at Roman with wide eyes.
Christa:"R-really?"
Roman:"Of course"
Christa smiles happy she finally has a friend.
???:"Christa?"
The tall girl walks over to the two kids.
???:"Who's your friend?"
Christa:"Oh Frieda this is my new friend Roman. Roman this is my sister Frieda"
Roman:"Hi"
Frieda:"Hello there. Where are you from?"
Roman:"Wall Maria"
Frieda raises a brow.
Frieda:"But that's pretty far from here. How did you even manage to get here?"
Roman:"My dad was called here to help fix somethings around your farm"
Frieda:"So your his son?"
Roman:"Yep!"
Frieda:"Well you do look like alot like him but cuter"
She says starting to pinch his cheeks.
Roman:"I'm not cute I'm strong!"
Frieda:"No your adorable"
She says letting go of his cheeks.
Frieda:"Anyways Christa you should go do your chores"
Christa:"Okay Frieda"
Roman:"Mind if I come along?"
Christa:"Not at all!"
Christa walks out of the barn and Roman follows behind. She does her chores quicker thanks to Roman helping her. She really enjoyed his company since he was very helpful towards her but his father had already finished fixing things up and so they had to leave.
Christa:"Do you really have to go?"
Roman:"Yeah. But I will visit you again"
Christa:"You promise?"
Roman smiles at her.
Roman:"I promise"
He walks with his father back to their horse.
Frieda:"I'm gonna miss the little guy"
Roman and his dad stared making their way home along the way Roman was telling his father about all the things he and Christa did. They eventually arrived home and they had to go back home since it was late. The next day when he woke up he heard a knock on his door. He opened it and Eren was on the other side.
Eren:"Morning Roman!"
Roman:"Hi Eren what are you doing here so early?"
Eren:"My dad is going to the hospital again and he said I could go with him today. He also wanted to know if you are interested in coming with us"
Roman:"Sure just let me change into some better clothes"
He walks up stairs and after a few minutes he walks back down but not before telling his parents where he went. He walked outside and he and Eren started walking to his House. Eren's father walks out.
Eren:"Dad! Roman said he's coming along"
Grisha:"Okay then follow me you two"
They stared walking to Grisha's hospital and there were already some people there. Roman got see how Grisha worked and as more and more people walked into his office none of them really interested him. But there was one family that interested him. The Ackerman's and their daughter.
Their daughter was a strange person she was very quiet unlike most of the kids even the shy one's aren't this quiet. Roman had tried talking to her but she would just hide so he gave up for now. Her parents were lovely people and Roman liked them. Later Roman and Eren had to go home since Grisha told them to. While they were walking they saw some kids bullying Armin.
Eren:"HEY LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
Eren runs at the bullies there are four in total and they don't look that strong so Roman knew their was a chance to beat them. He ran after Eren who was getting closer to the kids.
Bully 1:"Hey look it's Eren and Roman"
Bully 2:"Are they trying to play hero again?"
He says mockingly. But they failed to notice that Eren was infront of them due to them being too overconfident.
Eren:"YOU'RE ALL DEAD!"
He punches the one that was the closest and the others got angry.
Bully 2:"You'll pay for that!"
He was about to strike Eren but he was hit in the head by wooden plank.
Roman:"Don't forget about me!"
He says putting the plank on his shoulder. The kid who had been hit was on the ground with a broken nose. The other two kids panicked and they picked up their two friends before running away.
Roman:"You okay Armin?"
He says dropping the plank.
Armin:"Yeah I'm alright"
Eren walks over to Armin and he helps him up.
Eren:"Armin you've got to learn to stand up to yourself!"
Armin:"I tried but you know how it ended up"
Roman:"Well we'll work on that later on for now we should just enjoy the rest of the day"
Armin:"Won't your mom be worried?"
Roman:"Nah she still thinks I'm with Grisha"
Armin:"Okay then"
The boys walk to Eren's house and they climb on the roof. They watch as the sun starts to set.
Eren:"Guys"
Roman:"Yeah Eren?"
Eren:"When we're older we should try and find out what's beyond the walls"
Armin:"Yeah but it's dangerous"
Eren:"Don't worry we'll find a way I'm sure of it"
Roman:"Whatever you say Eren"
He says while still looking up at the sky.
Roman:"Whatever you say"
