Riddle-senpai stood up from his seat and gained everyone's attention
"Before the croquet match, a toast. You all have your teacups? Today is nobody's birthday, so to this Unbirthday Party! Cheers!"
"Cheers!" The residents cheered after Riddle-senpai and I heard Cater-senpai talking to Ace
"Ace, isn't now your chance?" Cater-senpai asked and Ace started walking towards Riddle-senpai
"Alright... Excuse me, Dorm leader" Ace called out and Riddle-senpai looked at Ace
"You are... Ah, the freshman tart thief" Riddle-senpai said
"Umm, I would like to apologize for eating the tart before. So I baked a new one" Ace said and it made Riddle-senpai curious but the bad feeling still lingers within me
"Hmm? I'm curious, what kind of tart?" Riddle-senpai asked
"Thank you for asking! It is a mont blanc stuffed to the brim with fresh chestnuts" Ace said
"A mont blanc!? I can't believe this! Riddle-senpai exclaimed
"Huuh?" Ace looked at Riddle-senpai with a confused look
"Laws of the Queen of Hearts No. 562: One must never bring a mont blanc to an Unbirthday Party. You violated an imperative rule! How could you do something like this!? The Unbirthday Party is ruined!" Riddle-senpai yelled
"N-No.562!?" Deuce said with a surprised tone and look
"Um... How many rules are there Riddle-senpai?" I asked without adding fuel to the fire
"I'm happy you asked Maria, there are 810. I have every single one memorized. I am the dorm leader after all" Riddle-senpai said
"Oh no, we're so screwed... Trey, did you know?" Cater-senpai whispered to Trey-senpai
"I've only committed 350 to memory. We let our guards down. To think there's rules about the kind of tart..." Trey-senpai whispered
"As dorm leader of Heartslabyul, out of respect to the strictness of the Queen of Hearts, I can't close my eyes to this matter. Dispose of this mont blanc immediately! And throw these rule breakers out!" Riddle-senpai pointed at Ace, Deuce and Grim
'How come he's not pointing at me? I was involved in making the mont blanc too' I thought to myself
"Wait just a moment! You really have dumbass rules like that?" Ace yelled
"Yeah! I'll eat it if you're just gonna toss it" Grim said
"Is food all you care about Grim?" I asked with a sigh
"My deepest apologies, Dorm Leader. I was the one who said we should make a mont blanc." Trey-senpai said as he tried to protect Ace, Deuce and Grim from trouble
"Yeah, yeah. I didn't think there would be a rule for something like that" Cater-senpai said
"I'm also to blame as well since I helped make the tart. So, I apologize, and I'll accept any punishment" I said and shocked everyone
"Making it isn't the problem here. The fact that you brought here! Now, today, is the problem! Also, Maria, if you wanted to know the rules you could've asked me or Trey and we would've given you a book with the rules." Riddle-senpai said. I was about say something but Grim cut me off
"Anyone who follows that kind of rule is an idiot" Grim said with an angry tone
"Idiot... You say?" Riddle-senpai said while glaring at Grim
"Wait, stop! That word is taboo." Cater-senpai to Grim and he quickly turned towards Riddle-senpai "And Riddle, these freshmen are still learning the ropes."
"No, I'm gonna say it. Anyone who obeys that rule and tosses the tart is an idiot. Stop screwing around" Ace said
"I agree with Ace. I think that rules are meant to be followed but... This is too arbitrary" Deuce said
"You've got quite the nerve, talking back to me. Listen well, even breaking insignificant rules leads to huge problems." Riddle-senpai said while glaring
"The other residents are afraid of getting their magic sealed so they don't speak up but I'm sure they feel the same!" Ace said
"Ah no, we..." A Heartslabyul tried to talk but he sounded hesitant
"Huh, is that so?" Riddle-senpai asked with a glare
"Not at all, Dorm Leader!"
"Everything is based on your judgement!"
"Those guys...!" Grim looked shocked
"Tsk... Wishy washy jerks. Lame." Ace said in a low tone
"In the year that I've been Dorm Leader, there hasn't been a single student who got held back or expelled from Heartslabyul Dorm. Only Heartslabyul can say that. In this dorm I am the one with the highest marks and the strongest. That makes me the most correct! So all you have to do is follow my rules without talking back!" Riddle-senpai said
"That's..." Deuce has no words to say
"I'm not cutting off your heads because I want to. You keep breaking the rules and leave me no choice. If you won't obey me, then it's off with all your heads!" Riddle-senpai said
"Now, everyone just say, 'Yes, Dorm Leader'. Cater-senpai said
"...I can't do that" Deuce said
"This selfish tyrant, I reject him!" Ace said
"Ace... Deuce..." I said
"What did you just say?" Riddle-senpai asked angerly
"We're saying you're a hot headed tyrant that wastes food for his own selfish whims!" Grim said
"W-whoa now, we didn't say all that..." Deuce said
"OFF WITH YOUR HEADS!!!!!" Riddle-senpai casted his unique magic, now Grim and Deuce are wearing the collars
"Geeeeeeh! It's this damn collar again!!" Grim shouted
"Crap, it won't come off!" Deuce tried to remove the collar but failed
"Trey! Cater! Throw them out!" Riddle-senpai ordered
"..... Yes, Dorm Leader" Both Trey-senpai and Cater-senpai said as they started to kick Ace, Deuce and Grim out of the garden
"W-what're you!?" Deuce looked shocked
"So sorry, but we don't go against the dorm leader." Cater-senpai said
"...I'm sorry" Trey-senpai apologized
"Aaaah, that so! Come at me!" Ace challenged them, I was about to stop them when Riddle-senpai grabbed my hand
"Not you Maria, you stay here." Riddle-senpai said
"But..." I was about to say something, but I closed my mouth and listened
"Good. Now take your seat next to mine" I listened and went to my seat, I looked at my friends who were being dragged away by Trey-senpai and Cater-senpai
'I'm sorry Ace, Deuce, Grim...' I thought to myself
No One's P.O.V
"Well then, Ace and co. see ya later~" Cater said
"We'll work on pacifying Riddle so you guys can apologize and come back to the dorm." Trey said
"Shit!!! I am never apologizing!!! Also give Maria back!!!" Ace shouted as the gates to the garden closed
"Huff... My goodness. Let's put that behind us and get back to the party. We must get to the croquet match. Ah, we're already 15 minutes behind schedule! This is terrible!" Riddle said
"Yes, Dorm Leader..." Trey said
"...Are you really alright with this?" Cater asked Trey
"...There is nothing I can do." Trey said

"Maria?" Maria felt someone touch her shoulder
"Are you alright? You looked pale for a second" Riddle asked Maria with a concern tone
"I-I'm alright... I guess what happened earlier was a bit for me. I'm sorry for worrying you" Maria apologized
"It's alright. Come we're about to start the croquet match, if you want I'll be happy to teach you how to play" Riddle offered
"Thank you, I would love to learn" Maria said as Riddle offered his hand for her to grab. Maria grabs his hand and left to play croquet
