Next day
Shivaay woke up and felt a sharp pain in his forehead. He looked aside and found Anika missing, he looked towards his watch and realised that he woke up late today. He sighed in relief as after coming back from the mall he was staying away from them. Anika tried to convince him that it happens but he gave her deaf ears. He was not ready to visit the mall but she forced him by emotionally blackmailing him, and there they wasted their time for nothing
Shivaay and Anika stayed on the ground floor waiting for them as even Anika looked tired. From that time he is angry at them especially Om for not taking his side. He walked towards the cupboard to take medicines when he noticed Anika entering the room
"What happened? Are you fine?", Anika asked and gestured toward the medicine box in his hands. She was confused in the morning as well when Shivaay didn't wake up hearing the alarm sound, usually, one ring is enough for him to wake up.
"Just a little headache", Shivaay replied and took one pill out. Anika snatched medicine from him angrily before Shivaay could have it
"Are you mad? Who eats medicine without having a meal?", Anika shouted.
"Lower your voice first it's morning and second I'm having a headache", Shivaay told and rubbed his finger on his ears.
"I think you have a fever too", Anika said as his hands were warm, unlike cold-like every day. She checked his forehead which was burning as well.
"Yes just because of you. If you left the room that time then I would have stayed away from the pool. And later you forced me to come with you, then ice cream. Are you happy now?", Shivaay asked angrily and sat on the bed holding his head. Anika didn't say anything because it was her mistake. She picked medicine box and left it in the kitchen holding it because she can't trust Shivaay here.
After 5 minutes she came with bread and coffee into the room and noticed Shivaay in the same position
"Shivaay", Anika called to which he hummed in response
"Have it then I will give you medicines", Anika said softly
"I am not hungry. Just give me medicines", Shivaay replied In a faint voice. Anika looked down as she heard his faint voice for the first time and hate herself to be the reason. She liked his loud hoarse voice not this
"No first food. Please at least one piece of bread", Anika requested and sat beside him
"Don't irritate me Anika", Shivaay said and layed his head on the headboard. Anika waited for a minute thinking that maybe he will have breakfast first but when he didn't Anika placed food on the table and left from there
"Fine do whatever you want to. I am sorry for yesterday and today as well", Anika said and left there giving him a medicine box and his medicine as well which he took out for himself. Shivaay looked at medicines and then at bread, he have a good chance to eat medicines directly but when he touched the medicine. He felt a sharp pain in his heart.
"Huff she always blackmails me", Shivaay thought and started eating bread. He knows it is only for his wealth as she cares for him, he can feel it by her behaviour. He walked towards to show her he ate as he don't want her to think he ate medicine first
"Hii", Shivaay greeted after entering the kitchen which gained Anika who was having tea. Seeing him entering she placed the cup aside and asked what he is doing there. He placed his plates on the sink and stand in front of Anika
"Can't I come here?", Shivaay asked and stepped one stepped close to Anika
" Y...you can but ...Take rest Shivaay", Anika said nervously without looking at him as Shivaay caged her between him and slab. Shivaay smiled as Anika was breathing heavily whole staring ground
"Someone will se us", Anika said after taking a long breath. From the time she realised she love him, she don't like pushing him, she can't hurt his feelings because of her actions.
"Ok then come with me", Shivaay demanded. His voice sounded low because of his temperature which made Anika feel guilty for asking him to come with her yesterday. She knows very well why he came there when even he was not interested, she could have sensed his tension but she didn't and regret it now.
Shivaay stepped back and left towards the room. Anika sighed in relief as even in fever he looks handsome which is the reason for her weakness
"I'm sorry for blaming you when you were not at fault but in headache, I just realised I should have avoided those things so I blamed you..in short, I said that to hide my stupidity from myself and you ", Shivaay said when Anika entered the room.
"I am sorry I didn't realise you were ill yesterday. I thought you were just upset with me", Anika told and sat beside Shivaay. She noticed Shivaay taking medicine now which made her smile and regret as well. Smile as Shivaay respect her decision and regrets it because she is the reason for his headache. She knew even he was tired yesterday but still, she asked him to come with her.
"It's ok. You are not God who will guess who is having headaches without a person telling you about your illness. Even in front of a doctor, we need to tell about our disease first Don't blame yourself. I am sorry for shouting at you but believe me I don't think it was your mistake", Shivaay told
"Take rest then. I will take one more holiday", Anika said and held his hand
"No...Don't...I will be fine soon", Shivaay said. She kissed Shivaay's forehead and sat beside him holding his hand.
"Go and concentrate on your work ", Shivaay said. Anika nodded and layed beside him again
"I won't be able to concentrate I think. First, because you are ill and second that I don't know what to do to reach your function on time", Anika whispered with fear.
"Leave that on the destiny I can't reply", Shivaay said and looked aside. He wants to ask her if he is her priority or not but now he is feeling that she may feel bad. Sometimes he feels that she loves him and sometimes he thinks that she loves her work more. He again asked her to go, as it was important as it was her last day so Anika left from there after asking him to sleep

Anika reached the village and got busy while working there. She couldn't get time there to call Shivaay in between. After completing her work in the village, she sat in the car and called Om first as she thought Shivaay would be sleeping
"Hello Om. I want to talk with Shivaay", Anika said
"Sorry bhabhi, I'm out for work. Can you wait for 10 minutes? ", Om asked
"It's fine I will ask Rudra", Anika said as she don't know if after reaching the office she will get time or not. What if Om is late?
"Even he is with me. We are out for his college work. Especially for his progress report", Om replied sarcastically
"Bhabhi don't tell this to anyone, especially mom. Tell them you don't know anything", Rudra shouted so that Anika could hear his voice.
"Bhabhi, you can tell them. This duffer will never change", Om said and laughed.
"Will talk to you guys later", Anika said and declined the call as in stress she didn't like them laughing. She felt that they are insulting her, so she declined the call Immediately before they asked her about the reason. She then dialled Janvi's number who picked up her call on 4th ring
"Hloo Badi maa ", Anika said
"Hello Anika", Janvi replied
"I want to talk with Shivaay. Can you check if he is fine or not?", Anika asked with concern
"Is there any problem between you guys?", Janvi asked as she started to doubt them when Anika called her and rather than
"No...not at all. In the morning he was not feeling well. So I don't know if he is sleeping or not and I don't want to disturb him", Anika told her genuine reason and shooked her head even after knowing Janvi can't see her
"That's fine", Janvi replied and walked towards their room. She opened the door slowly and noticed Shivaay sleeping
"He is resting Anika don't worry", Janvi replied
"Can you check that he is having fever or not?", Anika asked. Janvi hummed and walked toward Shivaay to check his forehead
"I'm sorry for troubling you", Anika apologized as she felt sorry for troubling every member of the house especially Janvi
"It's ok Anika. I can understand your worry. He is still having a fever I think", Janvi replied after checking Shivaay's forehead. Shivaay woke up feeling cold hands on his forehead and noticed Badi maa standing in front of him which confused him
"Mom you... Is everything fine?", Shivaay asked in a low voice. He closed his eyes tightly as when he was trying to sit his whole body started aching
"Yes fine with me but why you didn't tell us you are here and having a fever?", Janvi asked. Shivaay looked here and there as in the morning it was just a headache which he thought will vanish after some time but now his whole body is aching
"Vo...I slept ", Shivaay gave an excuse
"Can I talk with him?", Anika asked
"Yes sure", Janvi said and gave her phone to Shivaay
"Who is it?", Shivaay asked Janvi after taking her mobile phone in his hands
"Me", Anika replied. Shivaay smiled hearing her voice he thought he won't be able to talk with her but to his good luck, she called him.
"Don't cut the call", Anika said and the call went on hold. Shivaay looked at Janvi and told her that he is fine and layed back on the bed. Janvi asked if he need something to which he replied nothing with a fake smile as waiting for Anika's voice looked difficult to him right now. He felt her care for him in the morning, he wished her to stay with him the whole day. Now even voice is enough for him.
