You were walking to class all alone because you have no friends.
You a 15 year old how has a 4 year old sister named lily. You live in a run down apartment that should not be lived in but you do. You work at macdonalds from 3:30- 12:30. Lily is 4 and can do things that no child can do. You have to raise her, you have all your meals at school and let lily eat, you still have to do homework as no one knows your situation. Little did anyone know who your father was.
You are running late to class and are running through the halls, you get to your class and open the door. Inside your class was Captain America, Black Widow and Tony Stark.
Yn: sorry I am late.
Teacher: Why were you late?
Yn: umm sorry sir.
Teacher: answer the question
Yn: I would rather not.
Teacher: sorry Everyone yn go out to the hallway and wait for me. Sorry, please continue with the presentation.
You go out into the hallway.
Teacher: Now why were you late?
Yn: I would rather not say
Teacher: if you do not tell me you will get a weeks worth of detention
Yn: sir I can't get detention, I have to get to work.
Teacher: I DON'T CARE
Everyone inside was listening to the conversation.
Yn: FINE I WAS LATE BECAUSE MY 4 YEAR OLD SISTER WHOM I RAISE WAS HAVING ISSUES THIS MORNING.
Everyone was shocked.
Nat to steve: she raises her sister.
Teacher: Well your parents should have done that. I am calling them now.
Yn: you will only call me. My parents abandoned me and my sister the week after she was born, so 4 years ago, I had to raise my sister. I only eat one meal a day which is lunch at school so my lily could eat properly. I work from 3:30 - 12:30 everyday. That is why I am late, that is why I do not do my school work. You have no idea what my life is so leave me alone.
Steve had come out the door to check that everything was okm when he heard you tell the teacher your life. His heart broke and he was filled with empathy for you but that soon turned to anger when he heard the teacher.
Teacher: I do not care about your life, school should be number 1. You now have 2 weeks of detention.
Steve: ok sir that is uncalled for, obviously she has a lot going on so please leave her alone, or I will talk to the principal about your position as a teacher.
Teacher: fine
Yn: thank you sir.
By now the teacher was back inside and the others were out with you.
Steve: That is ok. Are you ok?
Yn: I am fine, thanks.
Tony: Are you sure kid?
Yn: yeah, don't worry. All in a day's work I am sure you have somewhere more important than here.
You say while looking at them.
Nat: not really. Was what you were saying to the teacher true?
Yn: (sigh) yeah, but what can you do? The world is a cruel place.
Steve: Sorry, while you are at school and work, where is your sister?
Yn: while I am at school she is at daycare. When I work I pick her up and then take her with me. My manager is nice enough for her to stay in a little office while I work or at a table.
Nat: Are you sure you are ok?
Yn: I am fine. Please don't worry.
Tony: You sure.
Yn: Yeah I am sure. Now I am so sorry but I have to go to my next class
As the bell rang
Steve: have a good day.
Yn: Thank you. You too.
You leave and go to class.
---back at the tower---
Steve, Nat and Tony all walk in. with puzzled looks on their faces.
Bucky: What is wrong with you guys, was the presentation that bad?
Sam: Let us guess. Guys?
Thor: fan girls
Loki: language
Bucky: let go with rude student
Sam: damit Loki already look mine
Wanda: same I think they all said Bad language words
Vision: same
Clint: same
Steve: it was none of those it was a student and the teacher
Clint: oh, some kid must really be a pain in the ass then.
Nat: It was the teacher.
Loki: Wait, really?
Tony: he was yelling at this girl for being late, who did not deserve it.
Thor: if she is late then she probably did.
Steve: not when she is trying to raise her sister because her parents abandoned them and then also has to work to survive.
Bucky: What are we going to do then?
Nat: we were thinking that maybe we could talk to them and then get them to live with us.
Everyone: That sounds like an amazing idea.
Steve: I was going to find her after school today. So I better be going bye.
---back at your school---
You leave your class in a rush. You never use your locker so just run out of school. You are sprinting out when someone catches your eye. Steve. You look at him and he smiles. You smile back but keep running. You have to pick up your sister and then get to work. As you are running you notice someone behind you. You whip your head around and notice Steve is running after you. You stop.
Yn: Is there anything I can help you with sir?
Steve: Well, I just wanted to talk to you.
Yn: Can we talk and run, I have to pick up my sister.
Steve: sure
You are running again
Yn: what did you want to talk about?
Steve: Well everyone at the tour were wondering if you would like to stay with us? You and your sister.
Yn: wait really.
You and steve are both running at steve's full pace
Steve: yeah. Hold on, how are you keeping up with me on this and with a bag? I am running at my full pace?
Yn: I run this everyday, usually holding my sister and bag so I am used to it. Kinda my thing.
Steve: You are amazing. Now would you be able to come once you pick up your sister?
Yn: I still have work.
Steve: What if I take your sister back to the tower and then collect you after your shift?
Yn: ok that sounds good.
--at the daycare--
Yn: Hey Lily. How was your day?
Lily: It was good.
Yn: well we are going to stay somewhere else tonight ok.
Lily: Did we get kicked out again?
Yn: no. Some people who are very nice offered to let us stay with them.
Lily: Are they nice?
Yn: they are very nice. Now this is steve. He is going to take you back to the place we are staying at while I go to work. Ok.
Lily: ok. Hi steve.
Steve: Hi Lily.
Yn: Now can I have a hug before I go?
Lily: always.
She gives you a hug.
Yn: Now when you go there, you must be on your best behaviour, say please and thankyou. Don't touch anything unless you ask or are given anything. Ok.
You say sternly
Lily: ok. I love you
Yn: love you too. I will see you tomorrow.
Lily: ok.
Yn: Thanks again.
Steve: No problem.
Lily takes Steve's hand and walks away with him and you run to work and do your shift.

Steve: How was your day Lily?
Lily: It was ok. We got to paint today.
Steve: What did you paint?
Lily: We did finger painting and I did a butterfly.
Steve: That is nice.
Lily: yeah but yn is going to be mad because I got some on my clothes and now she has to wash it.
Steve: I am sure she won't mind
They get to the tower
Steve: Come on, in we go.
Lily: Wow, this place is fancy.
Steve: I know right. Lets go
Steve and Lily go to the living room where everyone was. Lily looked at everyone and stood behind steve.
Steve: hi everyone this is Lily her sister could not get out of work so I have to pick her up later. It is ok lily they are all nice.
Lily slowly stepped to the side.
Lily: hello
Nat: hi Lily, I am nat, that is tony, loki,thor, clint, wanda, vision, bucky and sam.
Lily waved to everyone.
They all played games and got to know lily they and then she fell asleep on the couch
You finished work early and did not want Steve to worry about picking you up so you ran the 1km to the tower without breaking a sweat. You were there in 15 minutes.
You go up to the respitionsit.
Yn: hello I am here with my sister Lily
Receptionist: let me just get someone to take you up.
Yn: thank you.
Steve came down and took you into the elevator
Steve: Why did you not call to tell me that you were off early?
Yn: no phone and did not know the number. Was Lily ok?
Steve: She was fine. We all played with her.
When you walked into the living room you saw lily on the couch and then looked around at the people. Everyone stayed up to see you. Your eyes followed through. Nat,Tony, Bucky, Sam, Clint, Vision, Wanda, Thor and then Loki.
You saw Loki, you went wide eyed and then turned into a death glare that could compare with Nat. you were snapped out of your thoughts by Steve poking your shoulder.
Steve: You're good.
Yn: peachy.
You say sarcastically still looking at Loki who was looking at you wide eyed and full of guilt.
Nat: you sure, you are glaring at Loki with a death stare that is scaring even me.
Yn: yeah and that death glare lets just say that I learnt from the best.
You say with a roll of the eyes.
Tony: Well it is friday and I am sure that you are exhausted. Let me get you a room that you can take your sister with as well for tonight and we can talk in the morning. Sounds good.
Yn: That sounds amazing, thank you.
Tony: No problem Kid, right this way.
You pick up Lily and take her with you to bed.
--- in the morning ---
You wake up and notice Lily is still asleep. You leave her a note saying that you are just going downstairs and to come when she wakes up.
You go down and notice that they are all downstairs.
Yn: morning everyone.
You smile at everyone and give Loki a slight glare. Then sit down at one of the stools where everyone was.
Nat: food?
Yn: no thanks, not hungary.
Steve: What have you had to eat in the last 24 hours?
Yn: an apple and a jam sandwich for lunch yesterday.
Thor: You need to eat something.
Yn: it is fine, over the last 4 years I have grown normal to eat only that so that Lily can eat normally. That was all we can all afford.
Tony: Well you do not have to worry about that so now eat.
Yn: thank you
You say as he hands you a bowl of cereal.
Lily: YN
Yn: shit.
Steve: Language
You rush off to the room.
Yn: hey, hey it is ok I am here.
Lily: I thought you left me
Yn: I will never leave you. Now let's go and get some breakfast.
You pick her up and then go down to the kitchen and serve her your bowl of cereal.
Tony: What was that all about?
Yn: she has separation anxiety due to our past. So she is always scared when I am not with her.
Seve: oh no that is horrible
Clint: What is your past?
Yn: That is a story for when Lily is not here. I have never told her all of it, she does not need to at her age.
Nat: Do you want to come down with us to training?
Yn: sure I would love to.
Lily: I am coming too.
Yn: I know you are sunshine. But why don't you and I go home and grab some stuff for you to do.
Tony: grab everything you own. You can live with us now.
Yn: Are you sure?
Tony: Yes, now if you are not back in 45 minutes we are sending out a search party.
Yn: sounds good. Let's go, Lily.
Lily: Are we leaving?
Yn: only for 20 minutes then we will be back.
Lily: yay.
You and Lily grabbed all of your clothes and toys and came back in 20 minutes as you said.
Thor: That was fast.
Steve: if she ran, it would not be a surprise. She kept up with me while I was running at full pace and without breaking a sweat.
Tony: wow.
Nat: now training.
--- down in the training room ---
Tony: Let's see what you got yn.
Yn: Lily why don't you go over there and colour in with your headphones on ok.
Lily: ok
Wanda: Why did you do that?
Yn: I want to protect her as much as I can and I do not want to see nor hear us or me fight.
Wanda: That is very thoughtful. Who do you want to fight?
You smirk
Yn: how about Loki?
Tony: Really kid he is pretty tough to beat even without his magic which he can not use.
Yn: yeah I am sure
Loki: Oh no.
You both get into the ring

Nat: Wow, where did you learn to fight like that?
Yn: places
Loki: ok, you got all your anger out now?
Yn: no but for today yes
Loki gets up and you walk over to Lily.
Yn: hey, wow you did a great job
Lily: really?
Yn: everything you do is amazing
Lily: thanks. I love you.
Yn: want to go for a walk?
Lily: yess
You and lily leave
Clint: ok she is one weird child
Loki: That is an understatement.
Steve: You know her?
Loki: more or less.
Tony: how?
Loki: I think that if she wants you to know she will tell you.
Nat: Let's not rush her.
--- dinner ---
Vision: dinner is ready
Yn: thanks vision.
Vision: your very welcome yn
Tony: Let's eat.
--- after you put Lily to bed ---
Wanda: So if you don't mind me asking what is your past like?
Yn: well...
Steve: You do not have to if you are uncomfortable.
Yn: no, no it is ok. Well my mother and father abandoned me and Lily the week after Lily was born. Then we found a place in an abandoned building and have been living there. I can just pay for her daycare and food with the money I get from my job at MacDonalds. I always make sure she eats before me. As she is still growing and needs the food. Then Steve, Nat and Tony heard me screaming at a teacher yesterday after I was late, because I was having trouble with Lily at daycare.
Clint: Oh no.
Thor: We are so sorry that happened to you.
Yn: Well, what can you do?
Steve: Did you ever try to find your parents?
Yn: everyday for about 6 months but then I remember the words they told us as they kicked us out.
Thor: What were they?
Yn: something along the lines of...... you are and always will be a disappointment, we never wanted you let alone another one. We hate you. Then throw us out. A 11 year old and a week old child.
Loki: shit.
Tony: shit is right
Thor: Who says those words to a child?
Yn: someone. If it is ok with you I am going to go to bed.
Nat: That is fine. See you in the morning. Yn.
--- next night ---
Yn: good night Lily.
You walk out into the living room. No one is there.
Yn: uhh
Loki: What is the matter?
Yn: like you do not know.
FRIDAY has alerted the other avengers to come into the living room. In case it got messy.
They are standing in all of the doorways.
Loki: not really
Yn: are you that dense?
Loki: Sometimes yes.
Yn: really think. Just Fu(king think
Loki: I am sorry.
Yn: what are you sorry about DAD? KICKING US OUT OR THAT I ENDED UP WITH YOU AGAIN.
Everyone goes wide eyed
Thor: Brother you are yn and lily's father. You kicked them out?
Loki: I did it to protect them. I was going back to Asgard and their mother to Jail I wanted them to be safe.
Yn: YEAH WE WERE REAL SAFE. TOTALLY NOT IN CONSTANT DANGER OR ANYTHING. FU(KING HELL.
Loki: I am sorry hunny.
Yn: no, you can not just say sorry. You abandoned us, you left us alone, you sent us away. How could you do that? AHHHH.
Tony: calm down
Steve: wow, calm down yn, you just need to breathe.
Yn: No I will not breathe. I have walked through hell with a 4 year old because of him.
Loki: yn, you have to calm down.
Yn: NO, DAD I WILL NOT CALM DOWN. WHY DID YOU DO THAT. TO ME FINE BUT TO LILY SHE WAS 1 WEEK OLD.
No one had noticed Lily coming down from the room when they were arguing.
Lily: yn. What is going on?
Everyone's heads turned to lily
Yn: nothing Hunny, why don't you go back to bed and I will be up in a minute.
Lily: no, why are you glowing and why did you call Loki dad?
Yn: sigh. Ok so you know how these people have special powers?
Lily: yeah.
Yn: well I have them too.
Lily: That is so cool. But why did you call Loki dad?
Yn: well... that is because he is our dad.
Lily: you..you said they were dead
Yn: That was not entirely true.
Lily: Why did you lie?
Yn: it was easier to lie to you now and tell you the truth when you were older.
Lily: Tell me the truth now. Please
Yn: ok. When you were born I was 11. Our parents did not want us for a reason they can reason about later so they left us alone.
Lily: They abandoned us?
Yn: y-y-yeah.
You said through tears.
Lily ran up into your arms and hugged you tight.
You slowly calming down and your energy left.
Yn: I am so sorry that you had to find out like this.
Lily: Thank you for not leaving me. But is he really our dad?
Yn: yeah he is.
Steve: why don't we all go to bed and then discuss this tomorrow?
Nat: I agree.
