when someone says the ending is coming soon what do they mean. is the world going to fall apart or are you?will all of what you worked for, get destroyed? what is the end.
sure it's the final part of something but what else can it mean.

interruptions always seemed to follow you. and why was that? why did people always want to bother you?
not speaking a word your brain racked up excuses and ideas to stray away from what you, armin and mikasa were talking about. because if you came up with a solid and believable lie then they would believe it and not question it.
your head turned to the side to see a female looking at you with raised eyebrows. she wore a white long sleeve shirt that had a bit of a turtle neck. layering over that sat a black nirvana shirt with the usual yellow writting. tan cargo pants covered her legs as they had multiple pockets. which made you wonder how much shit you could carry.
she wore grudge silver rings that were bulky. and like always she had her dark brown hair held back with a red tie. and her most recognizable feature was her freckles.
smiling at the girl you pushed her question away only for a moment to give her a greeting "good morning ymir."
the brunette gave you a nod in response before taking a seat next to you. she leaned over the table letting her body slump onto the surface "did you guys get a shitty video too?"
the duo who sat in front of you both nodded their heads. and ymir's question seemed weird as everyone did, but to make conversation you have to talk about something.
but you knew you would like the brunette as she wore a small grin. she was noisy and as much as you hated those types of people they made conversations interesting.
"so what were your guys' videos?"
armin shuffled nervously in his seat at the question. she was straightforward and the blonde was regretting even stepping foot in the library. the videos were blackmail for a reason why would anyone reveal what theres was?
you didn't mind the question as you had an answer for her "an eye for an eye. what was yours?"
the brunette pushed her body off of the table to sit correctly. her head faced you as she chuckled "mine was vandalizing the school."
and that's what you call interesting. your fingers were intertwined on your lap and you tilted your head forward "well mine was breaking into the school."
the girl's eyes widened as she lifted her hand to give you a solid slap on the shoulder "i knew you were a badass! what'd you steal?"
shrugging you looked away "that wasn't part of the deal."
ymir groaned as she was now curious about what you did. but you weren't going to say anything so she hesitantly moved onto the other female who tried to avoid the conversation by being quiet.
"so mikasa, what about you?" ymir snickered knowing the female did not want to confess what she had done. but it never hurts to try.
the black-haired female mumbled under her breath shaking her head slightly. which caused her hair to brush against her pale skin. armin sat quietly thinking of ways to escape this conversation. maybe if he were to fake fall out of his chair then he wouldn't have to speak a word.
ymir only rolled her eyes turning to face you "did you hear they canceled volleyball because of all the shit that's happening?"
you nodded slowly making a mental note to talk to sasha later on. the information didn't really take a toll on you because there had yet to be a practice. and of course it was because of what was happening in the school.
getting up from the chair you grabbed onto your bag. "that's unfortunate but i also don't care. i'll catch you guys later." ymir let out a laugh at your unamused display about the volleyball situation.
pushing the wooden chair under the table you took a quick glance at armin and mikasa. you three would have to talk later, which shouldn't be a problem. they wanted to help, so they can suffice.
giving a wave at all three of them you walked off to the library doors. pushing the door opened your nose inhaled the fresh air as the smell of books got pushed to the curb.
walking into the empty hall you let the door close shut behind you. it clicked closed as it came into contact with the lock and frame that held it into place.
pulling your phone from your pocket you unlocked it, going straight to the notes app. clicking onto one of the tabs it opened revealing a name at the top. it sat in a bold font, and as much you hated him you knew he would be willing to help.
especially with her. you both shared that mutual dislike towards her and he was exactly what you were looking for. he would be the one to set her off.
your eyes trailed down to the ten numbers that sat under his name. sighing you clicked off the app and imported the numbers into the message bar. typing out a short message you clicked send and instantly turned off your phone. he wouldn't answer that fast so it didn't matter to wait around.
looking up you huffed looking at the classroom door. the days were becoming tiring as you didn't want to walk through this door anymore. but you had too.
twisting the door handle down you opened the door as it made a small squeaking noise. stepping in you walked over to your desk only to see a male sitting there.
his head was placed onto the desks surface as his arms cushioned his head to make it more comfortable. his hair was tied into a disheveled man bun, hairs were everywhere as it was too hard to make out if it was even a bun or not.
you slowly walked over to the two desks that were placed side by side. while looking at him you remembered mikasa's attitude and state when she found you. she was furious and disgusted with you. her hands were clenched by her side as she held back the urge to get physical with you.
and it was because of the video, so what was the video?
but that wasn't a question to ask right now. you didn't know if the male was mad or not but there was only one way to find out.
stepping in front of his desk you spoke above a whisper tone, not wanting to disturb him if he was sleeping "eren?"
your voice entered his ears which stirred him from his sleeping state. his head tilted to the side as he moved his arm to lean off of the table. bringing them up he rubbed at his skin before going up to his hair. for a second you saw his face and your brows creased in question.
dried tears were visible on his face as he refused to meet your gaze. his lips were down into a frown and he bit the inside of his cheek hoping to forget what he had just seen. maybe the pain that was admitted from the flesh would wipe his brain away from the thought. but it didn't.
you were at a loss of words. only assuming he was like this because of the video. which caused you to ask more questions inside of your head. not knowing what to do you went with the first thought that popped into your head. it seemed to be the best at the moment.
side stepping to the right your eyes dropped to the floor. bending over slightly your hand brushed against his black bag before you picked it up placing it on your forearm. reaching into your pocket you pulled out your keys thankful you didn't place them in your own bag.
hearing the sound of clashing metals the male looked at you with a confused look. and that's when you got to see his whole face. sucking in a breath of air you gave him a worried smile.
lifting up your right hand you wrapped it around his arm urging him to get up from the seat. with another gentle tug he finally stood up.
still having your hand on his arm you pulled him to follow you out of the classroom. the first bell was about to ring in three minutes which caused you to pick up the pace considering how far the parking lot was.
you wanted to avoid anybody not wanting to answer the question of where you two were going. seeing a gather of students starting to walk down the hallway you quickly pushed open the door and stepped outside.
eren followed behind you while he looked around at the sky. each step he took resulted in his hair getting more messed up as it started to slip out of the hair tie. looking back over to you he pulled his arm out of your grasp only for a second, before he grabbed your hand.
giving it a small squeeze he matched your walking pace to stand beside you.
looking around you made sure no cars were coming your way before turning your head to look at eren. you wanted to ask what the video was and is that the reason he's like this, but you refrained from doing so. instead you asked something close to it.
"what happened?"
the male only squeezed your hand tighter in response. and you took that as a sign to wait for him to speak. you didn't want to pressure him to tell you something he was ready to tell, so you tighten your grip around his hand. your thumb moved slowly as it drew small circles on the back of his hand.
seeing a familiar vehicle your thumb pressed down onto the key fob unlocking the car. and as you both got closer to it you released his hand going to the backseat.
opening the door you placed both bags on the floorboard. closing the door you let the school's bell fill your ears as you watched people start to walk around the campus to get to their first class.
pulling open the drivers door you sat down on the black leather seat. pushing the start button, you instantly turned on the seat heaters and closed your door, having enough of the cold air that wrapped around your body suffocating you.
where you were going was going to be a bit of a drive. you wanted to play music but you found it better to sit in silence to let eren think over everything. sometimes listening to nothing is helpful.
backing out of your parking spot you drove off.

on the ride to marley, eren sat quietly in his seat. you often would look over to him to see him bouncing his leg or fiddling with his fingers. it was obvious he wasn't doing well but you didn't dare to break the silence.
the drive was comfortable, but it was also filled with worry. and that was just you getting lost in your thoughts.
the ride began to get bumpy as you started to drive off road. with another small bump you parked the car, pushing the off button. the car completely shut off and as it did you opened the door and eren followed.
stuffing your keys back into your pocket you started to walk forward. trees were nowhere to be found and the ground was littered with greenery. the more you walked up the small hill the more you were able to see a few tall trees. bushes were here and there but the sound of water was getting closer signaling you were almost there.
marley is significant for its beautiful sightseeing places, and after living here for a while you started to learn some of them. you learned which ones were the best to sit and look at, and when the best time to come was. it was always awkward when people were around so you always stayed away from those times.
with a couple more steps you made it to the top of the hill. plants were all over the ground as they took on the darker colors. some light greens were placed in there too, but faintly. the two main colors of the assorted plants were purple and a darkish green color.
clouds formed over the sky blocking the sun. they weren't dark, like it was about to rain. it looked like a ball of white cotton candy that had hints of gray to it. like sugar being mixed with a colored one. and the body of water that sat in the distance was calm. it slowly rippled out creating soft sounds that made your body feel at ease.
while looking around you turned to take a glance at eren. he sat on the ground with his legs pulled up to his chest. taking in small deep breaths he laid his head onto his knees hoping to fall back asleep.
but he didn't and instead he spoke up "thank you."
raising a brow you took a seat right next to the male. "for what?"
changing the position of his head he looked over at you. his eyes roamed over your face as you patiently waited for his answer. a weak smile curved on his lips "for taking me here."
giving him a small nod you smiled "of course."
looking away from you, he stared at the water. the small waves entertained him as he tried to find the right words to say.
it would be easier if he had mikasa explain it to you, but that isn't something she should share.

taking in a breath he released it along with a couple of words "i'm sure you know about the videos that got sent to everyone."
once you realized he was going to talk about what happened today, you shifted all your attention to him. and you listened closely, not daring to interrupt him or doze off.
"when i was 10 my mom worked at a company. she was ranked high and had her own office and everything. my dad on the other hand wasn't around, he left when i was six. i paid no mind to that anyways,"
and just like you predicted you had to wait for him to share the story of who his parents were. not everyone likes to talk freely of what went on in their life, sometimes you have to wait until they're ready.
your eyes were glued to him as you were nervous on where the story may be going. he continued to stare at the waves watching as they clashed into the hill making bigger sounds.
"nobody could take me home that day. so i walked to her job and when i entered i was greeted by the office lady just like any other day. she handed me a pack of goldfish and a small water bottle before sending me off to my mom's room. i took the elevator that day not wanting to walk up the stairs."
the water threw away its calm act. the slow waves that had rippled out into nothing, became faint. they started to form bigger and each time they met the surface, a noise would erupt showcasing how violent they could become.
"after the elevator door opened i started to run to her room. i was so excited to tell her about a mother's day program we were going to do. i opened her door and when i did, i saw her laying on the ground. blood was everywhere on the floor and i rushed over to her. i tried to save her or do anything to help,"
raising his right hand he quickly wiped a loose tear that escaped from his eye.
"but i was too late."
another wave crashed into the land. the water spiked up, watering the greenery before sliding back down. only this time it traveled off into nothing. it was as if it shouted out for the tide to become calm again. and it listened.
"that was the video i got today. it was a video from the security camera in my moms office."
your body froze at his words. the air you once held was ripped away from you and his words suffocated you. your mind was the only thing to work as it banged against your body. a ringing filled your ears. it told you cruel words that sunk into your skin.
you were livid at the fact cora could do such a thing. but you could only be mad at yourself. you were the one that made her. you gave her the power and now you had payed the price.
but you didn't give her the power to do this. and that's what angered you. she always went at things the wrong way, and this was one of them. she was never capable of being anything. she was nothing, but you were the one who gave her something. the blame will always be on you.
your brows creased and you slowly exhaled. leaning forward you engulfed the male into a hug. your arms wrapped around his body tightly as you tried to express how sorry you were.
eren let out a choked up sob before leaning into your hold. his own arms wrapped around your waist as he let his head sink into your neck. his body couldn't take it anymore as his mind gave up letting the tears fall from his eyes. the burning in his throat disappeared as he desperately held onto you, not wanting to let go.
your hand started to move as it moved up and down his back, rubbing it softly trying to sooth him. you let him cry his eyes out to his heart's content.
and eren was thankful.
his body sunk as you held him trying to comfort him. bringing your hand up to his hair you began to run your fingers through it. unknotting the mess and trying to get it out of his face. you slowly started to move yourself backwards and eren followed along as he kept himself on top of you.
the damp grass touched your skin, making you shiver from the feeling. but you paid no mind to it as you continued to run your finger through the males hair or rub his back.
collecting his hair you pulled it to one side of his head hoping it wouldn't be in his face. but that only resulted in you seeing the helpless tears roll down his skin as they left a wet path.
you were a normal human being. you felt sorry, and you felt bad. you racked your brain of ways to help him that didn't involve your reckless ways. something you could do that would give his mind a rest but you couldn't think of anything except holding him tighter not wanting to let go.
his sobs became slower. you lifted your hand and it inched towards his face. bringing up your thumb you rubbed the tears away as the wetness sinked into his skin. eren moved his head trying to seek a comfortable position before he lifted his own hand to lay it on top of yours.
his breathing became slower as he let the heat of your body warm him up. your free hand switched between his hair and rubbing his back which put him into a comforting feeling. and finally his eyes closed listening to the sound of your heart. each thump let him drift further off being glad he was here with you, and no one else.
you watched as he fell asleep and you let out a sigh. things were starting to get complicated and you couldn't help but wonder what the outcome would be.
interrupting the silence a ding emitted from your phone as the screen lit up with a new next message.
