Low and behold, battle is over.

Now time for the aftermath, ngl I was tempted to end the story right there and then but I'm like, nahhh we can end the story with a bittersweet ending later.

Not edited.

-

The number of incidents resolved and the hero board of Japan has been tallied and aggregated, twice per year the rankings of heroes on active duty were announced.

Best Jeanist was sadly, unable to have a nice talk with All for One.

All Might retires (happily and tiredly), before going to principal Nezu as requested.

Midnight and Mt. Lady shook hands and agreed that if men keeps whining like babies, they smack then with a shoe.

Ragdoll retires but not before spray painting a wall (legally) that cursed All for One in her very own language that only her hero team will understand.

Aizawa gets his daughter back.

Kamui woods got his well deserved coffee.

Edgeshot was pissed at the author for not much screentime.

Gran Torino... he went to get taiyaki.

The rest? Well, they gave their reports and continued to help civilians rebuild their homes, donating money, searching for places where they can get a job.

Which leads to now.

(Y/n) was staring up at the violet, blue sky. Her hair gently waved in the breeze as she heard people chatting in the background.

Beside her lay a crumpled body covered with a white blanket, his hand ice cold yet warm and nostalgic to hold.

The stars twinkled above her and she closed her eyes, enjoying the silence and wished that even for the slightest moment.

She could just be with them.

Footsteps appeared behind her and something was placed into her hands as Aizawa patted her head.

"We found this tape with your name on it in the remains of what was destroyed, the people we trust destroyed all DNA and body parts just as you wished." He explained and (Y/n) gave a slight hum, rolling the cold metal around in her palm before opening her eyes.

"I'll send what I remember of the files in the lab to you later."

Aizawa jolted and stared before nodding.

"Take your time kiddo."

The pro hero left her to her own devices and she lifted the tape up, examining it before getting up.

Well, she had a video to watch.

Brushing off the dust and rubbles, (Y/n) picked up the katana and frowned slightly. The edge was practically chipped like Inosuke's sword and well, there's just this large chunk missing.

Well, for keepsake it is.

Glancing down, she took a step back and bowed a bow lower then 90 degrees.

Then the finally retired demon slayer turned around and left, the wind rustling behind her and Giyuu's body faded to dust as the first sunlight hit.

A bell ringed in the distance.

~~~
As she slid the tape into it's position, the (h/c) haired girl sat into a comfortable position and waited as it set to work.
Clinking noise echoed through the silent room and the curtains blocked the sunlight from hitting her.
Being a demon is a pain, even tho she's a half.
The whirring noise started and the clips loaded, her hands twitched slightly at the flickering floating tubes in the background along with the blood.
The Giyuu showed up, as if fiddling with the camera before his face brightened up in triumph.
"There we go, it should be working now."
The nomu mix made inhuman noises in agreement in the background as Giyuu placed it on a crate.
Her body could be seen slowly regenerating behind him and (Y/n) let out a small laugh.
"Alright, cutting to the chase," Giyuu started and shrugged, "By the time you see this I'll be dead."
Blunt.
But that's just Giyuu.
"And we want to say that you, (Y/n) will forever be part of us and we will forever be part of you."
Feels like it was too late for him to say that since (Y/n) has already acknowledged it but she continued the video.
"You are brave, strong and smarter than you think, sometimes we all wondered if you just happened to know the future or even time travelled because, well, blood demon arts exists," Giyuu chuckled.
"Because you saved us (Y/n), we all owe you so when we're gone, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
A tear slid down her cheek and she bowed her head in a hurry, her hand lifted up to her cheeks and wiped it away but she knew the waterworks were coming.
Pain swallowed her from deep within and her crys turned to whimpers as she placed her fist on her chest, hunching over as her heart twisted painfully.
"Know that even if we're somewhere far away with different stars in the sky..."
"We'll always be looking at the same moon."
"We'll always be looking at the same moon."
Her face contorted and she shook her head before barking out a broken, wet laugh.
"Damn it Giyuu, I thought I was done crying here," She whined but stopped at the heavy silence in the room.
She smiled bitterly before grabbing the tape and pressed the replay button.
His voice echoing through the silent room as she curled up to comfort herself.
Goodbye.
~~~

"Through those sacrifices, an even greater amount of lives were saved, in light of your efforts." Nezu began as he toyed with the sheet underneath his paws.

"As citizen, fellow hero and principal, I cannot thank you enough."

Aizawa already knows what's about to come but continued to listen anyways, his mind mentally preparing himself to get ready for the criticsim from the parents of his students.

The sheet slid in front of him.

"For home visits. I ask for your cooperation."

Aizawa mentally sighed and nodded.

~~~
(Y/n) wants out.
No really.
She wants to get out just to clear her mind without reporters at every single corner.
THEY'RE SCARY OKAY?!
WHO THE HELL POPS UP EVERY SECOND TO BOMB SOMEONE WITH QUESTIONS?!?
LIKE PERSONAL QUESTIONS?!
LIKE, HELLO! THAT'S CROSSING THE LINE MA'AM!
(Y/n) groaned and slid down against the door, she can hear chattering outside the window and she wants to cry.
She can't even do speeches like MC's in anime, no one gave her the ability to do world changing speeches and quotes for gods sake.
Standing back up, she headed towards the fridge and opened it up before searching around for juice.
Or milk.
Coffee.
Tea.
Anything!
The doorbell rang and (Y/n) froze, wincing before she whipped out her phone and rapidly texted Aizawa.
~~~

Me:
Send help, there's reporters outside ringing the doorbell.
SOS!

DADZAWA:
Here's a secret:
The faster you get it done, the faster reporters lose interest.

Me:
Mf, Idk how to do.speches-
do* speecges*
speeches*
fuck

DADZAWA:
Testing you on spelling when I get back.
Watch your language.

~~~
(Y/n) stared in disbelief and threw her hands into the air before the doorbell rang again and she let out a small squeak in surprise.
The place fell silent.
She sighed and turned to mirror to look presentable before going up to the door and adopted a tired look.
Opening up the door, she flinched when the sunlight hit her face before looking out.
"Yes? May I help you?" She asked, eyeing the camera warily as the reporter before her beamed.
"Yes I was wondering if I coukd interview you about the recent events and your history-"
Her hand rose up and cut the reporter off before letting out a tired smile.
"Sorry, no comment," (Y/n) answered before leaning against the doorway slightly, shifting her leg carefully, "Some things are better left off alone."
To (Y/n), she's tired and wants to go out.
To the reporter... well-
To the reporter, (Y/n) looked really sad as if she was still mourning over the loss of her friend and past life. To her, it looked like that (Y/n) shifted her leg to hide an injury or to spare her leg from the pain she was in.
The reporter stared at her before guilt, sadness and sympathy overwhelmed her face and nodded in understanding.
(Y/n) nearly tripped in confusion at the emotions on the reporters face but continued her stance, surely they can't be that sad right?
"Oh alright, I hope you get better."
The reporter bowed in apology before leaving.
(Y/n) stared after her and whispered to herself if she should've taken the interview since the reporter looked so sad...
The cameraman caught it all and thought (Y/n) was too kind to the people in this world.
In reality, (Y/n) misses and wants to sleep.
Huh, should she bake something tonight?
~~~

Aizawa deadpanned at the newspaper and stood up, heading towards (Y/n)'s room before knocking on the door.

As the door opened and a familiar, tired-looking female popped out, Aizawa stuffed the newspaper in her face and snorted.

"Look at this."

(Y/n) raised her eyebrows and stared the newspaper before deadpanning.

"What the fuck."

"Language."

"I don't know why the newspaper stated this but I'm definitely not pitiful, sad, injured and angry at the world," (Y/n) stated and ruffled the papers before flipping onto the next page.

"I'm not even injured on the leg?"

Aizawa sighed.

"Did they even interview you?"

"No, I said no comment and some things are better left alone."

Aizawa hummed before shrugging.

"Then I don't know, you look too tired and aching for sleep in the pictures to say that you're mourning and sad."

(Y/n) groaned, "I know right? I've already made a small shrine for them and finished mourning, took their advice and moved on already."

Aizawa tipped his head sideways and raised an eyebrow, "How did you get over it so quick?"

(Y/n) handed over the newspaper and ruffled her hair.

"Well, I already mourned over them in my past life before I died, Giyuu's last words ended it all and got me moving on knowing that I helped," she explained before yawning.

"Now if you will excuse me, I got a week's 74 hours worth of sleep I need to catch up."

(Y/n) turned around before Aizawa suddenly remembered something.

"Oh yeah, (Y/n)."

"What?" she grumbled and turned around, raising an eyebrow as Aizawa signed that she was not going to like this.

"You'll be going to U.A now."

"What."

"Principal Nezu and your former principal already made the changes, you've been transfered."

"What."

"The government wants to keep an eye on you but having you at U.A will be a clear no, also so they won't try and make you use your quirk."

"What-"

"Pack your things for the new system by the way, I know you read the plans and timetables."

"What..."

"Goodnight."

Aizawa left for his coffee and (Y/n) stared after him. She raised her hands, rubbed her face and groaned, feeling extremely lost.

"What...?"

(Y/n)'s in U.A now HAJAHAHAJHA-
At least she didn't use her quirk illegaly to get in.

She got in because of her new power  her past and the recent events to be kept a close eye on. Hard times~
