"I guess that's what happens when I go to the set where I announced it and pretty sure a lot of people heard it." I said as Lucas took his phone which was playing the news away from my face.
"I know I told you that it's up to you when to say it but I was expecting a heads up...?" Lucas said.
"You should've just told me you wanted a head up then." I replied not looking at Lucas instead at the paper in front of me.
"So... How many?" Lucas asked me while he drank his tea.
"6. You?"
"4! Damn it. You beat me..." Lucas said.
"I have more drama going on then you Lucas. Of course they would want to interview me more." I replied.
"I don't think that's something to be proud of." Lucas rebutted.
"That is correct. Which reminds me I should probably check how Felix is doing considering he is late..." I said.
"Do you have any meetings today?" Lucas asked me.
"A board meeting for general performance of company.... I kind of really need Felix..." I signed.
"Is Jennette going to be here?" Lucas asked.
"Probably. Speaking of which, she should actually be at the door as we speak."
On cue the door opened.
"Athy! I'm so sorry that I'm 5 minutes late." Jennette apologized.
"It's fine." I said smiling.
'Thank goodness I knew she was going to be late and told her the wrong time by 30 minutes just in case.'
'"Here."'
"Here." I pushed a few pieces of paper onto Jennette's side of the desk.
She sat down beside me.
'"That's the performance of the restaurant."'

"Lucas can you help Jennette." I said.
Lucas was sitting opposite me.
Lucas gave me a 'Do I have to?' look.
I smiled and nodded.
He sighed.
Felix was late...

And he was normally the one who's early!
I picked up my phone.
"Hello...?" Felix answered.
"Felix may I know where you are?" I asked.
"I'm at hom- wait... Shit! I slept in!" I heard Felix exclaim...
"I'm so sorry Athanasia! I swear this will never happen again!"
"Sigh..... Calm down... Tell me what happened..." I said.
"Why did my alarm not ring? Lily! Did you off my alarm."
I think Felix didn't even hear me at this point...
"It was annoying!" I heard lily reply.
"But I needed it for work." I heard Felix grumble.
"Athy can handle it!" Lily yelled.
I giggled.
I ended the call.
"That's some couple drama..." I heard Lucas remark.
"It is but I am not competent enough yet to be able to do this without Felix." I replied.
"Uh... Lucas what does this one mean...?" Jennette asked.

"Come in." I yelled.
"I'm so sorry athy."

"Surprisingly no." Felix replied.
"Is messy hair a fashion trend now Felix?" Lucas said.
"With a messed up tie." I added.
"I'm so sorry Athanasia. I'll get to preparing everything for the meeting right now." Felix said fixing his tie.
"Okay." I said as Felix hurried out of the office.
"Is Felix normally like that?" Jennette asked me.
I shook my head.
"This is a once in a life time thing for him." I replied.
"Hey Athanasia...?" Jennette called.
"Hm?"
"Do you think I can handle the greeting and at least the front portion of today...? I wanna try..." Jennette asked.
"Yes." I replied.
"If I handle today well... Can you leave tomorrow up to me too?" Jennette asked.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I think Lucas is looking more and more desperate for your attention."
I completely lost what I was reading.
"Pfft- hahaha!" I burst out laughing.
"Awe! Is poor Lucas a desperate puppy?" I said.
"How did that turn to this!?" Lucas exclaimed.
"I- I just thought you and Lucas could go out tomorrow or something!" Jennette said.
"Wow Lucas! You don't even need to be the one to ask me on a date! Jennette is!" I said.
"It's not my fault... you've been busy so I didn't want to trouble you..." Lucas grumbled.
"I see what you mean by desperate." I said.
"So I just thought that maybe I could help..." Jennette said.
"How about tomorrow I'll still be here but you handle all the meetings. I wanna be here just Incase you need help ." I said.
"After a that can I have one full day to myself? And you and Lucas can do whatever you guys want or you can just relax I mean this doesn't look easy you must need a break."
I nodded.
"Great. Thank you!" Jennette cheered.
To me it seemed like Jennette was trying to take responsibility.
And I didn't mind.
If she was trying to kick me out of my office...
Then I would honestly be quite glad...
I don't mind going back to my acting job anytime!
"Can I join the meeting room?" Lucas asked.
"No. This is for the board... They would think I'm being irresponsible and irrational for having you there." I explained.
"Fine.... I guess I'll just stay here..." Lucas sulked.
"As much as i would like to comfort you right now I am going to the meeting room right now so that I'm not late." I said getting up from my chair.
"Eh...?"
"Bye! Love you." I said as I walked past him and went out of my office.
"Athanasia. Again I am so sorry." The moment I opened the door I was greeted with a panicking Felix.
"Felix it's fine. Are you comfortable with Jennette?" I asked.
"Uh... She's okay?" Felix answered.
"Well get to know her today. If she does a good job she wants to be the one in charge the day after tomorrow." I said sitting at the head of the table as Felix stood beside me dumb folded.
"Are you quitting...?" Felix asked.
"No. Jennette just wanted to give me a break." I replied
"Okay." Felix replied as I waited for Jennette.
Jennette came in followed by everyone.
I smiled at Jennette as encouragement.
"Welcome fellow board members I am Jennette de Alger obelia. And we are here to discuss about the company's general performance." Jennette said.
I noticed her shaking voice and trembling legs.
I didn't need to guess to know she was probably also having sweaty palms.
She continued on the meeting.
I didn't even have to speak!
She did the whole thing!
Though she was figiting on the spot and her voice wasn't very firm like she knew what she was doing.
But it was good for someone who has never done this before!
When the meeting ended I clapped.
"I think I messed up..." Jennette complained.
"It was quite okay though... Maybe tomorrow I'll be there with you during the meeting just not talking." I replied.
"Thank you!" Jennette said.
"Are you coming back to the office with me?" I asked.
"Uh... Sure...?" Jennette said.
On cue her phone buzzed.
She took a look at it.
"Who's that?" I asked.
"Ijekiel..."
