Daniel
After I cleaned myself up, changed underwear for obvious reasons and got dressed, I got down to the dining hall for dinner. And boy, I was hungry. I greet everyone and take my usual seat next to my parents and siblings.
"Dan, you look like you slept all afternoon. Are you okay?" - Nate asked me, worriedly.
"I am, sort of. I mean, I don't like fighting at all! I don't know what took over me, but I know it had something to do with that discussion with Lauren." - I answered, truthfully.
"Did you have another dream with the mystery girl?" - Denise teased me. She couldn't help herself!
"If you must know, yes I did. There's no point in denying it. You can probably even smell it on me. I dreamed I completed the bond." - I confessed and I knew it was way too much information. Everyone looked at me gobsmacked.
"Ewl! We're eating! You're so gross!" - Denise replied with an ugly grimace.
"Daniel, manners please! You should have showered first!" - Mom said as she looked at me disgusted too.
"I would, but I was afraid I'd miss dinner." - I explained with an apologetic glance at her.
Nate was laughing at all this exchange.
"So, when are you going to tell me who she is, brother? Is she ugly? Are you embarrassed because you think you'd be trading down from Lauren?" - Nate questioned me with a mischievous grin. I can't help but laugh a little, so do my parents.
"No, Nate, that's not a concern I have. I know no one will be hotter than Lauren whoever the Goddess chooses." - I replied to him, amusingly.
"So now you think it's not gonna be her?" - Mom asked. I knew she wouldn't miss the opportunity.
"I never said that! I still believe it's her! I'm just saying that it can be anyone! But I still hope it's Lauren!" - I explained. But my mom wasn't convinced.
"That means you don't think it's the mystery girl?" - She insisted. - "Who, according to you, you've literally just dreamed you completed the bond with!" - She stared at me, suspiciously.
"I don't think dreams are foreboding! I think they're just it, dreams." - I lied, of course I knew they were. Every single Huntington Alpha has dreamed about his mate, including my own dad. And my mom lived in another city before she was mated, as I've explained before.
"Yes, of course." - Mom stated. - "But if you really didn't think that, you already would've told us who she is." - She argued, so smug. I could tell she's convinced I wasn't exactly telling the truth. She knows me too well. She's my mom after all.
"Touché, Luna!" - Nate exclaimed, obviously agreeing with her. But then again, I'm not convincing anyone to be honest. Not even myself.
Felix
I woke up wet, in more ways than I care to admit. I mean, what a dream! I still haven't had penetrative sex yet, but if it turns out to be as good as the one in my dream, I'm really missing out! Just remembering it makes my body tingle!
Later at school, everyone was still talking about Daniel's suspension.
I mean, no one talked to ME about it. But I have ears. To be honest, I was a little scared of how it was going to be P. E. without him there. As expected, everyone turned to look at me when I entered the locker room. But this time, no one said anything to me. It was just business as usual.
After the last class of the day, I had to go to the bathroom, so Daphne went ahead talking to Nate while I used the facilities.
After I finished, I go to the sink to wash my hands when Daniel enters the bathroom, engulfed in a giant hoodie. I looked at him surprised, once he revealed his face to me. Luckily for him, there was only the two of us here.
"Shouldn't you be suspended?" - I asked him, quizzically.
"I am!" - He replied. - "I just stopped by to ask you a favor." - He said as he approached me.
"OK." - I said genuinely puzzled. - "Go on..."
"Actually, 2 favors! I know it's a bit much, so if you don't want to do it I'll understand it." - He said, mysteriously.
"Wow! You certainly peaked my curiosity! Ask them away." - I stated, positively intrigued. At this point, I couldn't let that pass up even if I wanted to. I was too curious!
"Well, the first favor is that you don't talk to anyone about the second favor." - He explained and I laughed out loud. I couldn't help it.
"No problem. Done! What's the second favor?" - I asked as I waited for him to satisfy my growing curiosity.
"Just... stay... still..." - He said and then he lays it on me.
He kissed me on the lips and all I could do was to stay still, unmoved, unresponsive. But after a moment, I had to kiss him back! His lips tasted like paradise!
After a while, he removed his lips, got pensive, then said:
"Huh... OK, thanks!" - He spoke and opened the faucet in the sink, washing his face and mouth, basically scrubbing off any trace of our kiss!
"Wow! I'm trying not get offended, but you're making it really hard! Do I have bad breath or something?" - I asked him, seriously pissed off.
"Oh, no! You're great! This has nothing to do with you! It's just so people don't smell you on me, you know?" - He explained it like it was the most natural, most obvious thing in the world!
"Right! Well, I do hope you got what you wanted, whatever that was!" - I told him, still annoyed.
"Oh, sure. Don't worry about it! I got it! Thanks. Bye!" - He said it and left the bathroom.
I was baffled! What the actual fuck just happened? Am I still dreaming?! Did that really take place?
Daphne
While Felix went to the bathroom, Nate and I started walking towards the exit of the school.
"So..." - I started. - "This mate bond you talked about. Is that why you keep popping up in my mind?" - I asked him, which in turn puts a giant smile on his face.
"Probably, yes!" - He answered, grinning wide.
"So, you're saying it gets worse after we... you know?" - I wondered.
"It does, yes! I'm not gonna lie! But it's worse at the beginning, as we're still teenagers! With time, it dials down a bit as you become more used to it!" - Nate explained.
"I see! That's good to know! Can I ask you what feelings do you get from me, I mean what are you sensing?" - I asked him as I was curious to know what he was gonna say.
"It depends, really! It's stronger when we are at school, as the close proximity strengthens the bond. When I'm in my house, I can't feel you as much yet. Unless you're experiencing an extreme situation, like anger or frightening or deep... - There was a pause. I sensed he didn't want to finish the sentence. But of course, that only made me more curious!
"Or deep..?" - I looked at him, quizzically.
"Arousal!" - He blurted, turning pink immediately.
"Wait! You can sense my arousal?" - My jaw was on the floor. I have to say I did not see that coming!
"I can sense it when you have deep feelings, like sadness, joy, when you're really scared..." - He tried to downplay it.
"Yeah, yeah. But you heard what I asked?" - I insisted.
"Yes, I can! Also, just FYI: all of us can smell it too. Not just of you, of everyone!" - He informed me in a low voice and I was gobsmacked.
"Really?! OMG! What else can you people smell?" - I wondered, static.
"Everything, really! Fear, arousal, blood, it's our main sense! Like yesterday, for instance, I could smell when you arrived at the cafeteria and I could sense where you were the entire time! I also could sense what you're felling at that argument with that boy!"
"I could sense your anger, your worry about Felix, there was a despair for a moment when you saw him fall down!" - He elaborated. I gasped so hard I thought I was seizing!
"OK, I get it!" - I shouted. - "You don't need to remind me! I swear, if your brother hadn't punched that guy, I would've! I was so mad!" - I am angry now just remembering it.
"Oh, I know! I..." - He starts but I interrupted him.
"You sensed it! I got it!" - I raised my voice, I was getting annoyed already!
We reached the exit of the school and as we're about to take our separate buses, I say to him:
"Thanks for the... hum, lecture!" - I croaked.
"You're welcomed! Listen, can I kiss you?" - He said and I was shocked. I gasped again!
"I thought you said you wanted to take things slow?" - I asked, surprised at his request.
"No! I've said you could take as much time as you wanted! But I'm only asking for a kiss, not your virginity!" - He snickered.
"Oh, I'm not a virgin!" - I blurted, instantly regretting saying it. - "Is that okay or does that mean I'm not really your soulmate?" - I might as well get it out with it. But he scoffed.
"Yes, it's all right and yes, you are my mate! You don't need to be a virgin to be with me. This isn't the 50's!" - He replied in an amused tone.
"OK, got it." - I said. And then he insisted.
"So, no kiss then? It's fine, like I said, I don't want to pressure you into anything! We'll take our time and..."
I shut him up with a kiss. And damn, what a lip lock! I could feel him melting under my soft touch.
But to be honest, his lips tasted like heaven to me! It was so good, I almost lost my bus! Felix had to shout at me.
It would be embarrassing if he wasn't so fucking hot. And I loved it. I loved our tender moment.
