(AN : Here we go, i tried my best with their reactions, sorry if i got bad grammars. Also i had to add some parts to the file since the SCP Foundation and Azur Lane in this book are on the same universe. Basically i try my best to merge both of the universe. Alright let's get into the chapter!)

Item #: SCP-4217

Object Class:Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Foundation naval forces are to patrol SCP-4217's territory with 3 or more battleships under the guise of the British Royal Navy. During a Hostile State, naval forces are to engage SCP-4217 until it reverts to a Passive State.

"So this SCP is an aquatic type of SCP" Z23 concluded.

Survivors from civilian vessels attacked by SCP-4217 are to be recovered and processed in accordance with Maritime Disinformation Protocols.

Description: SCP-4217 refers to both Bismarck (henceforth SCP-4217-A), an anomalous German battleship sunk on 1941-05-27, and the large cephalopoid organism that is fused to the inside of its hull (henceforth SCP-4217-B).

"Excuse me, what?" Bismarck eyes widened.

"Another Bismarck? How did we not know this?" Queen Elizabeth said.

SCP-4217-B possesses a pair of octopoid eyes which protrude from the base of SCP-4217-A's superstructure, and twelve 100- to 200-meter-long muscular hydrostats that extend from an opening in the stern. Aside from the presence of SCP-4217-B, SCP-4217-A shows no signs of damage sustained from battle or subsequent decades submerged underwater.

"BASICALLY A SHIP WITH OCTOPUS BODY PART"

"I feel this is going to be traumatizing for Bismarck" Eugen glanced at her.

"Battleship with octopus capabilities..." Cleveland shivered in disgust at the thought.

SCP-4217-B operates SCP-4217-A's systems. This includes its full armanent of 8 main guns, 44 secondary guns, and 12 anti-aircraft guns.

"I wonder why it was a Keter SCP" Chapayev said.

SCP-4217-B also can operate SCP-4217-A's propellers to reach speeds approaching 40 knots, but only while surfaced. While submerged, SCP-4217 achieves locomotion via ejection of water from SCP-4217-B's body cavity (with an average speed of approximately 30 knots).

"That's a weird system the SCP have in it's possession" Warspite commented.

SCP-4217 typically remains submerged at a depth of 500-1100 meters, navigating its territory. However, SCP-4217 will periodically surface and enter a Hostile State.

"That's bad" Javelin said.

During this period, SCP-4217 will seek and attack non-threatening targets (such as civilian cargo ships). If sufficiently damaged, it will revert to a Passive State; otherwise, it reverts after a median 9 hours.

"And my counterpart acts like a predator, great" Bismarck said sarcastically.

"Why would it target civilian cargo ships without any reason?" Ning Hai asked.

Addendum 1 - History: The SCP-4217 designation previously referred only to Bismarck itself, which was believed to have been neutralized in 1941. A previous version of this document can be found below:

+ On 1985-02-16, a team from MTF Gamma-6 ("Deep Feeders") was dispatched to verify the status of SCP-4217. On 1985-02-19, the surface crew reported that the dive team had remained submerged for several hours past what their oxygen supplies allowed. Shortly thereafter, they detected the distress signal from the submersible's black box recorder and retrieved it. Transcript follows:
+ Show Transcript
+ The first sighting of SCP-4217 in its current form was made shortly thereafter. It was responsible for sinking two cargo carriers and one cruise liner prior to the establishment of current containment procedures.
Cover stories were disseminated to explain the lost vessels. Foundation misinformation teams constructed a replica of Bismarck and sank it ~100 km east of the location of SCP-4217's rediscovery.

"How can they get the materials to make a replica of Bismarck?" Enterprise asked.

"DIDN'T I TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE TRUSTED BY MANY OF THE WORLDWIDE GOVERNMENT?"

"Oh"

Arrangements were then made for a high-profile civilian oceanographer to discover it on 1989-06-08.

Addendum 2 - Recovered Documents: Following the collapse of the USSR and subsequent dissolution of GRU Division "P", the Foundation acquired a number of documents that GRU-P had recovered during the Soviet occupation of Germany. Among these documents were a number of internal Obskuracorps memos believed to be related to SCP-4217 (Translated from the original German):

+ Show Documents
+ In light of this discovery, the Foundation conducted investigations of the individuals named in these correspondences. Records indicate the deaths of Otto Schmidt in 1940 and Hans Meyer in 1941, with no evidence found to contradict this information. Dietrich Klossner was acquired by the United States military in Operation Paperclip and later died of natural causes in 1976. The Department of Defense has thus far refused to disclose information on his postwar work. References to Karl Reuter can be found in other Obskuracorps documents up until 1944, after which no further information on him has yet been found.

Addendum 3 - Incident 4217-09: On 1993-07-22, SCP-4217 appeared to enter a Hostile State, and Foundation naval forces prepared to enact Special Containment Procedures in response. However, before any vessels were able to reach firing range, Kurt Wegner, captain of SCPS Nemed, noticed that SCP-4217 was not moving from the location where it had surfaced.

"Shouldn't the SCP attack when it enters a Hostile State?" Bismarck asked.

As this was different from previously observed behavior, Captain Wegner ordered SCPS Cesair and SCPS Partholón to hold position while he investigated.

"I hope nothing bad happened to the captain" Montpelier said.

SCP-4217 was unresponsive to the presence of SCPS Nemed, even when the latter drew within 200 meters. After a brief period of observation, Captain Wegner attempted to hail SCP-4217 over the radio. Transcript follows:

+ SCPS Nemed, SCPS Cesair, and SCPS Partholón subdued SCP-4217 without further incident.

"I was getting worried that the SCP would have attacked them the moment they got close, but it's a good thing it didn't" Amagi said.

SCP-4217 has not responded to subsequent attempts at communication.

Footnotes
1. Observed intervals have ranged from 2 weeks to 11 months with no discernible pattern.
2. 2. This can occur even during predatory behavior, as evidenced by one instance wherein SCP-4217 pulled a dying Physeter macrocephalus (sperm whale) to the surface before abandoning it.
3. 3. This property has been confirmed neutralized
4. 4. This property has been confirmed neutralized
5. 5. The occult branch of the German government during the Nazi era.
6. 6. Confusion caused by the psionic field causes the squadron to nearly attack HMS Norfolk and a US Coast Guard vessel.
7. 7. The German national anthem during the Nazi era.

"The footnotes slowly get's hard for me to understand" Cleveland commented.

"I think it's interesting" Z23 said.

Additional Notes:
The Foundation disguised naval forces during their tasks to keep an eye for SCP-4217 have encounters with the Sirens to the point the navy have to abandon their task to not arouse any suspicions for the Sirens about the existence of the SCP.

"That's not good at all" Eugen said.

The naval forces have too many close encounters, but not enough for the encounters to become a fight between the fleet and the Sirens.

"I guess that's good" Graf Zeppelin said.

There are few battles that happened between the Foundation and the Sirens, one of the battle were on [DATA EXPUNGED] when the Foundation's Battleship SCPS Morpheus and it's squadron in disguise were forced to initiate a naval battle with the Sirens to repel them from entering SCP-4217 location.

"SCP-4217 existence seems to be much important for the Foundation" Kaga commented.

"I don't want to know what will happen if the Siren have their hands on SCP-4217" Mainz said.

The Foundation managed to repel the Sirens but lost some of their ships, which included their Aircraft Carrier, SCPS Hawaii and one of their experimental Destroyer equipped with laser weapon, SCPS Borealis.

"Why would they bring an experimental ship anyway?" Ayanami said.

At [DATA EXPUNGED], the Foundation navy had to repel the Sirens again in a naval battle, this time with the help of a Battlecruiser, SCPS Convoy and an Aircraft Carrier, SCPS Rome. The Foundation successfully repeled the Sirens but at the cost of their Battleship, SCPS Morpheus to sunk.

"I respect the crew of the Battleship for their bravery to repel the Sirens even if they have to sink" Enterprise said with others who agrees with her statement.

A massive naval battle occurred within SCP-4217 territory against the Sirens, this time the Sirens bring one of their Executor-Class humanoid Siren.

"I don't think the Foundation can beat the Executor even with many ships" Z23 said.

It was a massacre for the Foundation, they lost 90 percent of their feet on that region to the point the Foundation were forced to use two of their experimental ship, a nuclear powered Aircraft Carrier, SCPS Montagne and a stealth Submarine, SCPS Funsui to help.

"Why don't they retreat if they know they are going to lost many ships within the fleet?" Littorio asked.

The Foundation manage to repel the Sirens but with the cost of loosing SCPS Montagne and SCPS Funsui experiencing heavy damage and 90 percent of their fleet to have sunk.

This was known as one of the worst naval battle in the history of the SCP Foundation.

The screen turned static.

"WHAT DO YOU GIRLS THINK ABOUT THIS SCP?"

"Bismarck with tentacles is not something i want to see" Hipper said.

"I don't want to meet my counterpart, i really hate it" Bismarck shivered.

"DO YOU GIRLS MAYBE WANT TO SEE THE FOUNDATION'S NAVAL BATTLE HISTORY?"

"Sure, i want to know how capable their naval forces are" Graf Zeppelin said.

"It would be nice to see their naval battles and to see what is their best ship" Saint Louis said.

"ALRIGHT, WE WILL VIEW THE FOUNDATION'S NAVAL BATTLE HISTORY NEXT"

(AN : There you go! What do you guys and girls thinks of the Additional Notes? I tried my best to make it since this book was also about both of the universe are connected together. Thank you for reading this chapter! And i will see YOU! In the next chapter!
