Faint music playing in the background
I was a little girl
Alone in my little world
Who dreamed of a little home for me
I played pretend between the trees
And fed my houseguests bark and leaves
And laughed in my pretty bed of green
All those memories rushing backing into my head. It was then, that I realized how I loved the idea of being a wife. It didn't matter who I was going to marry, I wanted to be loved, I wanted to be in love, and I wanted it all to be straight out of a romance movie.
Long walks in the dark
Through woods grown behind the park
I asked God who I'm supposed to be
The stars smiled down on me
God answered in silent reverie
I said a prayer and fell asleep
And as time grew, it became clearer. I had to find someone who can love me as I love my dream. And boy, that wasn't easy. I had to have a lot of crushes and ex-boyfriends (no I dint go dating a lot of people like how the line emotes) for me to find the one. when I met him, it was like my prayers were answered and I was one step closer to my dream.
I had a dream
That I could fly
From the highest tree
I had a dream
And boy I was right. he was the one. it was like the universe conspired to only bring him to me when it was time, time to fulfil my longest desire.
Which bring me to where we are today.
