Haylee's Point of View
"Ate, okay ka lang po?" tumango ako ng marahan kay Kate at inupo ang sarili sa tabi ng kama niya. "Namumutla ka, ate." kinapa ko ang sarili at ngumiti ng tipid.
"Okay lang ako, nagpuyat kasi ako kagabi. 'Wag ka ng mag alala kay ate, okay lang ako." pagsisinungaling ko.
Nakipag usap ako sa counter at tinanong kung saan aabot ang bayarin ko kung sakaling mag stay ng isang buwan dito si Kate, aabot ng kalahating milyon dahil lulunasan pa nila ang kapatid ko. Hindi pa ako tapos mag isip du'n sa pagpipilian na ibinigay ni sir Chen, dumagdag pa ito.
"Nandito na ako." bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Lily. Inabutan niya ng apples si Kate at sumenyas sa aking lumabas.
"Sandali lang, Kate. Mag uusap lang kami ni ate Lily mo, okay?" inosenteng tumango ang bata. Pinauna ko si Lily sa paglalakad, sa garden kami huminto.
"Ate, paano 'yan? Lagi akong tinatanong ni Kate kung kailan siya makakalabas. Nalulungkot ako para sa kanya."
"Naniningil pa rin ba sina tita sa mga bayarin?" umiling siya at yumuko.
"Ako na ang bahala doon, ate." ako naman ang umiling.
"Hindi, ako na ang bahala. Nag aaral ka pa. Bantayan mo na lang si Kate, okay?"
NAKAPAG DESISYON NA AKO.
"B-Bakit ate? Aalis ka ba?" ngumiti ako ng mapait.
"Magpapakasal ako, Lily." nanlaki ang mga mata niya at gustong magsalita pero inunahan ko na. "Magpapakasal ako hindi sa matanda at magpapakasal ako hindi lang para sa pera. Parte iyon ng magiging trabaho ko. Ipangako mong ikaw lang ang makakaalam. Kahit si Kate, sina tita, 'wag na 'wag mong ipapaalam sa kanila. Ipapaliwanag ko na lang sa ibang araw ang lahat. Sa ngayon, kailangan ko munang umalis. Sabihin mo na lang kay Kate na nagtungo na ako sa trabaho." may pag aalinlangan pa siya at may bahid ng pag aalala sa mata pero tinapik ko siya sa balikat at ngumiti.
"Magiging okay din lahat, Lily. Pagkatiwalaan mo pa rin sana ako."
"O-Okay, ate. Mag ingat ka."
Lumabas na agad ako sa hospital at tinawagan ang number ng sekretarya habang naghahanap ng sasakyan.
"Ma'am Biñanas? Anything you need?"
"Uhm, gusto ko sanang makausap si Mr. Chen."
"He's busy right now, they have a meeting. I'll just make an appointment for you." tumango ako kahit hindi niya kita.
"Thank you."
Dwayne's Point of View
Everyone stood up and take their leave after an hour of meeting. My secretary get in and informed me.
"Sir, miss Biñanas wants to talk to you. I already made an appointment for you two." I stood up and walked toward the door.
"Lead her on my office once she came." he nodded and let me walk alone to my office.
Angelo came to me yesterday's evening. That dumbass called me just to tell me that, the woman whom I was hiring to be Edrian's mother was in her hardest times. Such a stalker.
“I saw her on your hospital, she asked the nurses on the counter if how much will they pay if her sister will stay there for a month. I heard that they will have to pay half a million. Help your future wife, dude.” that words was the exact words he said.
"Sir Chen, here she is." I stopped thinking and turn my gaze on them. She look pale.
"G-Good morning, sir Chen."
After my secretary has take his leave, I looked on her and enterwined my fingers.
"So, you already have your decision?" she nodded and looked at my son, studying with his tutor.
"Panghabang-buhay na po ba ito, sir Chen?" I raised a brow on her even she can't see it, she's still staring at Edrian.
"How did that question popped up on your mind?" she lowered her gaze.
"P-Payag na ako. But I'll just see this deal as my job. Iyun naman po talaga, 'di ba?" she glanced at me using those innocent and tired eyes. I can read that she have so many problems right now. I nodded slowly and averted her gaze, it gives me pity.
"Tell me how much do you want—"
"You decide, mr. Chen." I sighed and stoop up.
"Okay then. The wedding will take its place on my mansion tomorrow. You have to move there and be together with Edrian." she weakly nodded and smiled a bit when Edrian saw her. He immediately ran towards her again and the woman also stoop up but once she take a step, she fainted.
"H-Hey!" I panicked and immediately carried her. Damn this girl, she's sick! I checked her temperature and it was hot. My son leaned and worriedly looked at her.
"M-Mommy?"
"Wait here, son. I'll just take her to the company's clinic, okay? Don't worry, y-your m-mommy is going to be fine."
I carried her in a bridal style while walking towards the elevator. Some employees were looking at me on my way but I didn't care about them.
"How is she?" I asked the company's doctor while I was holding my son on my right hand.
"She lacked of sleep and didn't ate much that's why she fainted. She's tired also. It's good for her to rest and eat first. It's not critical, mr. President, you don't need to worry." who said I was worried?!
"Mommy is fine, dad, right?" I hesitantly looked at Edrian.
"Yeah, she's fine. Don't worry, we will take her home, okay? Do you want to take care of your mommy?" his eyes twinkled and nodded. "Okay. Once she awake, we will bring her home for you to take care of her. I'll just have a call, go and check your mom." he let go of my hand and ran to Haylee.
"Sir Dwayne? Why did you called? Did Edrian got hurt?"
"No. I want to clarify if you have a patient and her sister was named Haylee Biñanas."
"Yes. What about them, sir?"
"I'm paying their stay there. Cure her for free and let them stay there until she was fully cured." I commanded.
"Do you know them, sir?"
"Just do what I said. No. more questions." I immediately hanged up and went back. She's already awake and talking to Edrian.
"U-Uh, sorry sa nangyari mr. Chen. Nakaabala pa ako." she looked down.
"You're not taking care of yourself? How will you take care of Edrian if you can't even handle yourself?"
"S-Sorry." the little boy looked at me, furious. "'Wag kang mag alala, kaya ko namang alagaan si Edrian."
"Daddy, mommy is hurt! Don't be mad at her! Look, she's not okay. I hate you!" my eyes widened. This is the first time he shouted and hated me. "You said we'll bring her home but you're lecturing her. Hmp!"
I was about to step forward when Haylee tapped his head.
"Okay lang ako, cutie. 'Wag mong sigawan daddy mo, that is bad, okay? Tsaka I'm okay. Apologize to your daddy."
"But you look not okay. I won't apologize to him until you were okay already." the woman pinched his cheeks and giggled.
"Ang cute mo talaga. Okay, magpapagaling ako agad para makapag sorry ka na." she then looked at me. "Sir Chen, sorry ulit. At thank you. I'll promise to take care of myself and Edrian in the future. I hope you can trust me with this job, this girl will never let you down!" my eyes widened again and a memory flashed on my memory.
"Okay! Let me take the good job! This girl named Maica will never disappoint you!" Xach's girlfriend saluted on us with a big smile on her face. My brother chuckled and kissed her cheeks.
"Cute. Take care, baby. The elders will may pressure you but I trust you." they both giggled which made me roll my eyes, what a cliché view.
I stared at her for a moment. Hey lips, her cheeks, her eyes, her nose and her long eyelashes. Familiar. Who is this girl? I think I already met here but I don't remember when and where. Does she have something to do with Maica?
DAMN THIS. I REMEMBERED THAT WOMAN AGAIN, THE WOMAN WHO MADE MY SYSTEM CRAZY. ALTHOUGH SHE'S DEAD, ONE THING WAS LEFT ON ME. IT WASN'T A DREAM BUT A NIGHTMARE. NOW THAT I MET THIS WOMAN NAMED HAYLEE, DOES SHE HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH MAICA?
