Next day
Anika woke up early than usual and noticed her side of the bed empty. She understood where Shivaay must be, she wore slippers and went towards the poolside to see him sleeping on the couch. She thought she will stay awake till he is working but didn't realise when sleep overtook her. She turned his alarm off from the watch but didn't know Shivaay set alarm on his phone as well so after 10 minutes his phone started ringing.
He sat on the couch holding his neck due to pain. He noticed Anika coming toward him and started setting his hair alright
"Check your neck Mr Not hairs. No one is watching you right now. Why didn't you come back?", Anika asked
"I thought I will not sleep but I don't know when I slept", Shivaay replied
"Have you lost your mind? How can you skip sleep like this? Then why do you complain regarding depression?", Anika asked raising her voice a little. Shivaay smiled watching her concern and replied
"It is new for you, not me. Moreover, I can't disturb you", Shivaay said and gestured for Anika to sit near him. Anika sat beside him and checked if he have a fever or not
"I am much disturbance when I found you there. You will never sleep there like this. Shivaay we can manage, I am not your friend in front of whom you can't work. But yes I don't want you to skip your meals and sleep", Anika said
"Ok anything else?", Shivaay asked. He is a little relaxed in the morning watching his wife questioning him.
"Nothing. Take a rest", Anika said. She wanted to ask him to take holiday but when she know his workload she can't do it. She knows how much he needs to work hard to get one deal and one more holiday will harm him
"I can't", Shivaay said and got up to get ready. He doesn't want to take holidays anymore.

After an hour they reached his office. As Anika was free so she thought to help Shivaay today, even though he didn't argue as something is better than nothing. Shivaay was about to give her work when he heard a knocking sound. He replied come in and looked towards the door to see one employee there
"Sir, you have to visit the award function on this date", said one employee after entering his cabin which confused him because Shivaay asked them to take his name back so how come his came is there?
"But I didn't... ", Shivaay was about to ask her how this is possible when Anika interrupted
"Yes because I gave your name and I know you will win as well", Anika said with a smile and asked the employee to go. Shivaay's blood boiled hearing her, he is already facing loss and now this award function is a new problem for him. How he is going to get back on top in less time? People will say he doesn't deserve it because he is losing business
"Why Anika?", Shivaay asked once the employee left his cabin. It was hard for him to control his anger. His anger is always raised whenever he watches indisciplined employees and here his wife behaved like a fool
"B... because..", Anika fumbled and looked down because Shivaay stepped close to her which scared her, not his presence but his red eyes. She doesn't want to face his anger again. She stepped back when she felt his hand on both of her shoulder
"I told you that I am not interested then why? Why do you think you are always right? I am giving you every right doesn't mean you can do anything", Shivaay said and pinned her to a nearby wall Anika looked down in regret. She doesn't know how to gather courage and fight when she is wrong here. She should have asked. Moreover when he said he don't want then it was her mistake to give his name
"Look in my eyes and give me the reason. Don't you know I am already busy? Moreover, I am facing a huge loss. Why didn't you ask me? Don't you know You can't make decisions without asking me?", Shivaay asked and told her that she can't take decisions like this. Anika didn't look up to him because she is hurt by his behaviour. She took a long breath to control her tears, she is not the girl who will cry in every situation. She wants to stay strong but this man And his change hurt her.
Shivaay realised he should control his anger so he stepped back when he noticed her teary eyes, yet she was trying hard to stay strong
"I'm sorry", he said and looked aside to control his anger. His blood is boiling from the fact that he is selected for the best businessman award when he can't give his best. He feels himself like a loser. Just a few days off and he started facing loss now he doesn't have enough time to recover as well
He noticed Anika going towards the door so he came in front of the door and locked it
"You can't go. Stay here", Shivaay said angrily and came in front of Anika. She tried touching the lock but Shivaay's hand stopped her
"Why? You can't stop me", Anika said angrily
"I can and I will. If you are that much interested in going somewhere else then solve our matter first", Shivaay said, he knows very well that she doesn't have any work today so he can't let her leave his office in this state.
"Which matter? You just...", Anika replied but Shivaay interrupted her
"I know what I did and I am apologizing but you are wrong as well", Shivaay said. Anika said and replied fine. She came back to the chair and called someone. Shivaay turned towards her and heard her talking over the phone

"Hello can you take Shivaay's I mean Shivaay Singh Oberoi's name back from awards", Shivaay heard her voice. He sighed because she is not believing him, no there is no going back. If he didn't increase his shares then he will be insulted and he is mentally demotivated.
"Is there any option?", Anika asked. Shivaay gestured for her to cut the phone knowing the answer. Once Anika heard a reply she nodded towards Shivaay, she declined the call and look down.
"You can't do anything now the damage is already done", Shivaay said
"Let me go. Please", Anika requested, she has a chance now but she doesn't want to leave without his consent.
"I will not. We will go together. Why you come here then?", Shivaay asked
"My wish", Anika replied
"Ok, I dare you. Just show me if you can go", Shivaay said in a cold voice closing his eyes and holding his head in his hands. He took a long breath to relax and felt that he is too much rude towards her by not letting her go.
"I love you",
Shivaay remembered Anika's confession and looked towards the front. Anika was standing in front of the door. She didn't open the door, neither she moved from her place. Shivaay walked toward Anika and opened the door
"Go", Shivaay said softly and then sat on his chair again. He opened the laptop to distract himself from her thoughts but every second he was checking what she is doing.
Anika came back and sat on a chair near him.
"You can go I am sorry for my behaviour. But if you are going in anger then don't because I don't want us to be like.....", He said but stopped in middle realising their relationship is not like his parents. He doesn't want to do any mistakes but his anger never cools down easily that is his biggest problem. He knows one thing she is not weak like his mother, and neither he is like his father who will not respect her choice.
"I stopped you as in the morning you said you were free. I don't know if you will reach safely or not so for your safety I stopped you. But if you can then go", Shivaay gave reason and looked down in regret. He thought he will not behave like this with her ever but he was unable to control his anger. Anika nodded as it is true she was leaving office in anger which she should not
"I know you will not take my help", Shivaay said
"Why do you think so? I will not deny you like that", Anika asked. Shivaay shooked his head and walked towards her. Anika looked down to ignore eye contact with him.
"I am not in a good state Anika just give me time. Tell me what should I do I will do it. Please don't behave like this. I lost many people in my life I can't lose one more. I don't know if I look selfish or not but I don't want to lose this care", Shivaay said in a deep voice. Anika looked toward him, she know he is right and is very serious right now. Whereas before he was not, she was about to reply when they heard the knocking sound of the door.
Shivaay picked one file and acted as reading it after replying come in
"Sir you have a meeting. Clients are waiting for you", said that client. Shivaay looked towards her and then towards Anika who is there. He doesn't want to get furious again if he lost the deal again
"Cancel meeting", Shivaay said shocking that employee as those clients are already waiting for him to start meeting. She didn't expect him to cancel a meeting like this
"But sir...", She tried saying something when Shivaay interrupted her in a cold voice
"Do what I said", Shivaay said which scared her and she nodded
"He will come don't cancel", Anika said when she noticed her nervousness about that girl. She doesn't know her but can sense her fear, his red eyes can scare anyone
"But I am boss here and I said I will not", Shivaay said
"Ohh yes how can I forget I can't take decisions", Anika said knowing well that he will agree like this. Shivaay looked toward her and then towards the employee
"Agrr fine I am coming after half an hour", Shivaay said and closed the door when the employee left
"Aww I am not angry", Anika said and hugged Shivaay. Shivaay looked at her surprised by her behaviour a few seconds ago she was angry as well as hurt then how can she forgive him so easily? Shivaay pulled her more in a hug and kissed her forehead. He is feeling so happy that here is someone who understood that he doesn't mean anything he says in anger
