Crimson POV:
"Sigh" its my first day at my new school, I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous
It's my first day of 5th grade, so next year I will be going to the middle school that was connected with the high school
Me and my sister walked threw the front door and starting walking over to the front office
Before we walked in I looked up and saw a bee on a poster
'Must be the school mascot' I thought
Me and my sister walked in the office the first thing I saw was a lady with black hair that was big and curled
She was smacking on some gum when me and my sister, Alex walked in
As we walked up to her desk she looked up and a big smile was spread across her face
"Hello, you must be Alex Mastrian" then she looked towards me "and you must be Crimson Mastrian, mmm what lovely red hair you have" she said smiley sweetly
This was not the first time someone complemented my hair
It's a crimson red color, hence my name
Alex didn't have the same hair as me, her hair was more reddish black
Alex always said her hair was just like our dads, while mine is just like our moms
I always wondered if that were true, or if they were the tiniest bit different
Sadly I don't really remember them, they died in a fire when I was 3
My sister is only 16 but she is very good at makeup, she can make herself look like she's in her 30s when she is only 16
I gave the office lady a sloppy smile before Alex replied "yep, just like her father" Alex said with a smile
It was always a bit weird when Alex has to act like my mother but I kinda understood why she had to
"Ahh, well lets see who her first class is" she said as she started typing on her computer
After I minute of typing she looked up and said "ok her first class will be with mrs. Barley, she's room 244" she said with a smile
"Ok thank you" Alex said before grabbing my hand and we start walking out
We walked threw the halls for a few minute before reaching a room with the number 244 on it and the name Mrs. Barley above it
Alex looked down at my nervous face before speaking "hey, its ok your going to make some friends and when I come get you after school a good bit of our stuff will be unpacked, ok?" Alex said with a kind smile
I smile back at her, she pushed some stray hair out of my face before knocking on the door
A lady with dark skin and curly hair opened the door, her name tag saying 'Mrs. Barley 5th grade
She looked down at me before smiling "you must be crimson" she said with a big smile
I smiled back and nodded, she seemed nice
"And you must be Mrs. Mastrian" she said looked back to Alex
"Yes, its nice to meet you" Alex said
Mrs.barley nodded before taking my hand "come on hun, lets get in class"
Alex ruffled my hair one more time before waving good bye and walking away
Mrs. Barley lead me into the class, everyone was starring at me, saying I was not nervous would be a lie
She brought me to the front before speaking "everyone this is crimson she is your new classmate" Mrs. Barley said looking down at me and giving me a smile
I looked around the classroom, nothing was out of the ordinary just some kids
They all looked bored, one girl was whispering to the girl next to her
They were smirking and laughing quietly
I then looked to the other side of the room and saw a girl with chocolate brown hair and chocolate cream eyes
Her eyes were curiously looking at me
Her expression was blank, I couldn't read it all I knew was that she is more curious then the whole class
Mrs. Barley showed me where I would be sitting, sadly it was in front of the girls who were whispering and laughing
We didn't do anything big, just a word sheet
But the girls behind me kept laughing and giggling
It was fine until something hit the back of my head
I turned around and saw the girls now laughing even harder
The shorter girl with blond hair said "awww, what's wrong" she said with a big smirk on her face
The other girl added "HA, she's just a tomato head, why don't you dye your hair it will look 10x better"
They both starting laughing again before Mrs. Barley spoke up "Gina, Jessamine, Crimson stop talking" she said giving us the death glare
I turned back around in my seat, now deciding to ignore Gina and Jessamine
Now its 11:30 am so its time for lunch
Mrs. Barley brought us to the cafeteria to eat, we had the choice to eat or not I chose not to
So did the brown haired girl that I learned name is Brew And a few other people
Mrs. Barley and a few other 5th grade teachers were talking at a table next to the table I sat at
All the 5th grade classes had their own table and their were 6 tables
Soon everyone else was at the table eating while I was looking around
Gina and Jessamine were sitting on the other side of the table and talking to all the other girls in our class
All the other girls sat together at the end of the table talking while me and Brew were not
Brew had her head down on the table
I was across from Brew acting like I was looking around when really I was looking at her
She was very quiet only spoke when spoken to, and she was very smart always answering questions correctly
Tho she never raised her hand, only answered when the teacher called on her
"Brew head up!" Mrs. Barley yelled at Brew
I didn't hear Mrs. Barley yell at brew, so when Brew put her head up we made eye contact
I quickly looked away
I heard the other girls down the table giggling
I don't see what's so funny
After lunch we had free time outside, I was sitting against the wall when Gina, Jessamine, and another girl came up to me
"Hey tomato head" Gina said smirking as her and the other 2 walked up
I didn't relay just starred at her
"What's wrong tomato head? You know you would look better with blond hair like me" Gian said giving her hair a good flick
Anyone could admit Gina was pretty, but her attitude was unpleasant
"You know she would look prettier with different color hair" Jessamine said but before anyone could say anything else she took a mayonnaise packet out of her pocket from lunch and squirted it all over my hair
They all started laughing at me, when Brew came up behind Jessamine and Gina and Squirted ketchup all over both of their blond hair
They both screamed and started freaking out, the other girl with them ran away
"HAHA, have y'all have tomato hair, but y'all really cant pull it off" brew said smirking
Gina and Jessamine ran off to the teachers
Brew walked up to me and helped me up "come on lets get that out of your hair" she said taking my hand and we starting walking to the bathroom
Brew was a inch or 2 shorter then me, but the only thing I was thinking about was how she helped me out
And how funny it was seeing Gina and Jessamine freak out about their 'BeAuTiFuL bLoNd HaIr'
When we got to the bathroom I starting trying to get the mayonnaise out of my hair brew starting talking "you should have punched that bitch in the face" brew said with a smirk
'Quiet but feisty' I thought
"Ehh, maybe" I said still trying to get the mayonnaise out of my hair
"You know your going to get in trouble for this" I said turning around to look at her
"I don't care, even if the teachers think you and I started it, it wont be anything bad" brew said
"All of them hate Gina and Jessamines parents because they started a scene at a school fund raiser" brew said laughing slightly
"Damn" I said not really knowing what to say, only one question on my mind
"Hey, why did you do that?" I asked very curious
She shrugged "I remember what they did then I was a new kid, so I'm not letting them pick on you, especially because of your hair color"
"Ehh, I'm used to people saying things about my hair" I said looking down
"Why, your hair is really pretty, why would people say otherwise?"
"I don't kn-" I starting speaking but was cut off by knocking on the bathroom door
"BREW CRIMSON, COME OUT NOW!" One of the teachers yelled
I inhaled deeply, "don't worry the teachers have brains they will know who's fault is it" Brew said patting me on the back
We both walked out of the bathroom to see Mrs. Barley and another teacher standing their with Gina and Jessamine
"Explain, now" Mrs. Barley said looking down at us
I gulped, but then brew starting talking
"Mrs. Barley Gina and Jessamine poured mayonnaise on Crimsons hair first, plus me and crimson didn't eat lunch we had no way of getting or taking anything from the lunch room" Brew said her face looking very believable
'Damn, she should be in acting' I thought
Mrs. Barley looked between me and Brew before nodding And turning back towards Gina and Jessamine who's jaws were to the floor
As Mrs. Barley starting lecturing Gina and Jessamine the other teacher dismissed me and brew
Brew grabbed my wrist and we starting walking away

After school

I said my good byes to brew before walking over to Alex who was at the gate
"What's that white shit in your hair?!?" She said pulling me towards her and starting looking at the white at the top of my head
It was very faint but still noticeable
"Some girls named Gina and Jessamine pored mayonnaise in my hair at break" I explained
Alex eyes widened "god damn it, ok umm if you want you can be home schooled again, I can take time off work-"
She was talking until I stopped her "NO, no its fine, I don't want to leave" i said
"Your sure?" She asked
"Yeah, i made a friend, she's nice, she poured ketchup in the girls hair after they did that to me" I said laughing slightly
Alex laughed a little as well "good to hear you have a loyal friend, what's her name?"
"Brew.." i said thinking of her
Alex raised an eye brow before speaking "alright, come on lets get home" Alex said starting to get in the car
It was nothing fancy but it will do
As we starting driving to our house, i had a goofy smile on my face the whole time and looking out the window
Alex kept giving me the side eye, but i acted like I didn't see
Soon we were home
We lived down a road in my sisters words "old people town"
It was nice and quiet, the road was down a river and their was a field on the other side of the street
We had to cross a train track to get to it, the train went over a bridge
Soon we drove up to our house
It was a small 1 floor house with 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, and a very small kitchen and living room
When we got inside Alex spoke "we are having frozen food for dinner sadly" Alex said looking down looking disappointed in herself
"To fine" i said giving her a smile before walking into of my room
I put my book sack away and changed into some jeans and a sweat shirt
I walked back out of my room and walked up to my sister "I'm going walk down the road" i said heading for the door
Alex spoke behind me "alright, be back in an hour for food!" She spoke
"Alright" i said back opening the door and stepping out
I only walked down the road so i can think or if me and Alex got in a argument and i had to let my anger out
I walked up to the curve on the road
But when i turned the corner i saw a familiar chocolate brown haired girl, with a young beagle at her side on a leash
The dog saw me first and starting barking at me
Causing the girl to look up from her phone at me
