After the most amazing Sunday morning you'd ever had in your life, you and Yoongi indulged in bad habits and brought coffee and laptops back to bed. You caught up on bills and made out a packing list, and Yoongi caught up on emails.
Again it struck you that this was simply the most comfortable you had ever been with another person and you decided to just enjoy the feeling. After awhile you closed your laptop and scooted down on the bed a bit. Yoongi lifted his arm up and you tucked yourself into his side while he continued to mouse around and read his last few emails.
You were going to grab a quick lunch and then it was off to the local moving company to pick up a load of boxes before getting Yoongi his trip to the HMart. Yoongi had convinced you to do a grocery delivery online in order to gain more time napping later, and you agreed when you saw it could be arranged to be delivered later that night. You didn't to move an entire fridge and freezer, but you wanted more normal snacks than what was available on the production set so when Yoongi offered to pay for half of the groceries you took him up on the offer.
Turns out, Yoongi really enjoyed Hmart, more than either of you expected. He was confused by the mix of convenience store and American grocery store and how they carried some things but not others. You spent a happy hour just tooling around before finally heading back home and carrying up all the boxes you had gotten today.
Yoongi decided to camp in the living room for the moment with his laptop and you started packing boxes in your room. You picked out clothes for the week and filled a carryon suitcase you had before packing up summer clothes and breakables.
Then you moved into the kitchen and packed everything but four of plates, coffee mugs and silverware, figuring you'd rather do dishes on the daily than not pack everything today while you had the chance. You stacked boxes along the wall in the bedroom for now, and Yoongi offered to help with boxes.
Yoongi grabbed the packing tape and started to make up boxes for you and you sighed at everything still to pack. You stared, hands on your hips at the stuff in the living room you'd want in boxes, what could just go in garbage bags like couch pillows and extra blankets, and thought about having to move stuff.
You paused in your list making and turned to Yoongi.
"Yoongi is the place we're looking at tomorrow furnished? I didn't think to ask before," you said.
Yoongi made a face.
"I don't' know (Y/N), let me check with the realtor quick. But do we want it furnished? You'd be more comfortable with your stuff, and I don't want to have to haul a bunch of stuff out so I can set up my studio. What do you think?" Yoongi had dug his phone out to call, but he held it in his had as he looked at you for your opinion.
"I think it might be expensive to furnish an entire penthouse, and for only six months? But if it is furnished then I need to find another storage unit so I can keep my stuff for...later," you trailed off towards the end, recognizing that this was all a short-term fantasy in your world. There was a hard date in the future to think of as Yoongi would have to go home, and you would have to stay here.
He seemed to recognize your mood, as he put his phone back in his pocket and came over to gather you in his arms.
"Babygirl," he started, but he knew as well as you did what the future looked like. His arms tightened around you and you stood for a moment, trying to burn yet another memory into your brain for later.
Yoongi leaned down and tilted up your chin for one of his slow soft kisses, the ones that dazed you and made you cling to him, which you were sure he did on purpose. Distraction achieved for the moment, but you still needed to know if you needed a moving company or not. You hugged Yoongi and stood on your tiptoes to steal another kiss when he lifted his head.
His smile was as soft and sweet as his kiss as he ran his hands up and down your arms, before stepping back. He took out his phone and dialed the realtor's office and you took one of the boxes he had finished taping up and started in on your little bookcase in the corner.
Yoongi made a noise of surprise and you turned to look at him curiously. He held up a finger and you waited while he listened to something the realtor was saying. He glanced at the clock in the kitchen before shrugging.
Turning to you he said, "(Y/N), the realtor says that the building is willing to let us walk through the apartment yet tonight if we're interested. We can be there in a short drive I think, but what do you say?"
You nodded, you were just as eager as Yoongi to check this place out and make sure it was going to work for you both. Yoongi smiled at you before telling the realtor you were in agreement and would be there within a half hour.
You started to gather up shoes and purse and coat while Yoongi hung up with the realtor. You rummaged in your kitchen junk drawer and found a little notepad and a tape measure and Yoongi grabbed his stuff and your keys and out the door you went.
