A month had passed since Burgess was under Loyalist Control. Many of the Loyalists were happy that they had regained the city, and many villagers were thanking them for being liberated from the Extremists. While Burgess was being rebuilt, Many Loyalists soldiers had the chance to contact their families to make sure that they got out of Far Far Away safely. During this time of Crisis, Vanessa understands what the soldiers and pilots were going through. She, along with some Guardians in Guardian Squadron, understood that a good distraction will help soothe their emotions. Luckily, Christmas was just around the corner.
Christmas was an extraordinary time for the Guardians. Every year, they always set up a Christmas tree and spend time with the villagers and dragons. But since they couldn't do that this year, they decided to send postcards to wish them a Merry Christmas. They also let them know that they're safe and all right. It was a big day for everyone, and everyone was getting ready for a party tonight.
Not only that, Marco was about to ask Catherine to marry him. But the only thing that is slowing him down... is his confidence. Marco was so scared about asking her because he feared that she would say no. But It's worth the risk. Since he was close to Boss, he decided to visit his room and tell him what he was going to do.
Boss: [Eyes Sparkling] "Marco! Are you for real?!"
Marco: [Puts a finger on his own lips] "Shhh! You're too loud, dumbass! You're gonna spoil the surprise!"
Boss: [Covers his mouth and looks around][Whispers] "Sorry. It's just that... I can't believe it."
Marco: [raises an eyebrow and crosses his arms] "What do you mean by that?"
Boss: [Clears his throat] "No offense, but you are pretty shy around Catherine. I have a feeling that you are scared of proposing to her because you fear that she will say no. Have some confidence in yourself, man. I guarantee that she will say yes. Besides, you two have been dating for some time now, and everyone assumes that you are gonna get married. Besides, you two are the oldest in the group. Eventually, you'll have to settle down and stuff."
Marco: [Sighs and sits down in a chair] "I know. But I don't want to settle down yet, and I think Catherine knows that too. We're still young and want to go on crazy adventures. We spend nearly ten years in the outer realms, and we have witnessed a lot of shit together. Some good and some bad... but I kind of feel like that... I don't want it to end just yet. If I asked Catherine to marry me... I'll feel like I would hold her back and stuff... Not only that, we are still your knights. The only time we will settle down is when Oblivion is dead, and the New Order is defeated... Plus, you're gonna have to take the throne... So... that's gonna take a long time... and... I don't think Catherine will like that..."
Boss noticed the worried look on his friend's face and understood the situation. They were at the age where they could get married at any moment and settle down. He knows that people his age already have a house and some kids. He loves the sense of freedom and adventure, but he also knows it can't last forever. Not to mention that the New Order is still out there, and they have to find them. So, he took a deep breath and sat next to Marco.
Boss: [Smiles and puts an arm on Marco's shoulder] "Let me tell you something." [Marco looks at him] "I may not know about marriage or settling down. But I know that Catherine would be happy to Marry you. Believe me... If there is any woman that would literally go to hell and back for you... it's her. You two are so close, and you grew up together. Remember that time when we were at a dance in the Avatar Realm, and Korra and Asami set you two up? You two danced the night away and became the stars on the dance floor... I saw the look on your faces... you were captivated by each other... The point that I'm trying to make is this... She loves you... and don't think that you're holding her down... If you want to settle down, she'll settle down. If you wanna keep going, she'll keep going. No matter what choice you'll make... she will always love you. Me, along with everyone else, will support your decision. If you two want to call quits, that's fine. If you want to keep going. That's fine as well. No matter what you choose, we got your back."
Marco was stunned by Boss's words as he pulled out a small box and opened it. Inside was a beautiful ring with a blue diamond on it. He looked at the Box and let out a big sigh before putting the small box into his jacket.
Marco: [Smiles and looks at Boss] "Thanks, man... I needed that..."
Boss: [Smiles and nods] "No Problem... Just doing my job... So, when do you plan on proposing to her?"
Marco: [Chuckles and fixes his hair] "I think... tomorrow night... I want everything to be perfect..."
Boss: [Punches Marco's shoulder lightly] "You go for it, man... I know you can do it..."

- The Village -
Meanwhile, in the village, Iahfy was walking around with Rex and Meru as they were doing some Christmas shopping. Meru was buying some decorations, Rex was buying some gifts for the children, and Iahfy was gonna buy a cake for a Christmas party that is happening at night. Christmas time was Iahfy's favorite holiday of the year. The reason why it was her favorite was that she was always looking forward to the Christmas Tree, Fluffy Snow, and of course... The Presents.
Iahfy: [Eyes sparkling] "Man! I'm looking forward to Christmas! All the Snow and Christmas Trees plus the Decorations are gonna be epic!"
Rex: [Looks at Iahfy] "I also heard that it's the most romantic time of the year." [Blushes and plays with her fingers] "I wonder if I'll be able to get a chance with Boss under the Mistletoe."
Iahfy: [Looks at Rex] "You? Pfft. Don't make me laugh. If anyone is gonna be under the mistletoe with him, it's obviously gonna be me. I'm the hottest and the most attractive."
Rex: [Growls in annoyance] "Shut the hell up. All you ever want to do is get in bed with him and want to him to p-" [Iahfy puts a finger on her lips]
Iahfy: [Serious expression] "I know what you're gonna say... but there's no need to say it out loud. There are children around here and even though I'm a pain in the ass and cocky. I try my best to behave properly..."
Voice: [Chuckles] "Well... That's new..."
All three of the Demon girls jumped in shock as they turned around and noticed a man with white hair and blue eyes. He also had that cocky grin that everyone loved and adored. Iahfy and her friends felt their cheeks warm up when they saw him. He was a good-looking man around his mid-twenties and had a blue sweater on with light brown pants. He was the legendary Guardian Hero, Jack Frost.
Jack: [Slight bows] "Jack Frost. At your service..." [Smirks]
Meru: [Blushes like crazy] "T-The Legendary Jack Frost? The one that stopped Pitch from turning the world into Darkest?! And one of the Hottest Boys in the Land of Dreams?!"
Jack: [Grins at Meru] "That's right."
Meru couldn't help but squeal with excitement as she ran up to Jack and gave him the biggest hug ever. Rex and Iahfy were surprised by Meru's sudden hug. Rex looked at Jack and gave a nervous smile, and felt her cheeks warm up. As for Iahfy, she was calm and composed. She just chuckled and looked at Jack with a smile.
Iahfy: [Arms crossed and looks at Meru] "Okay, Meru. You can let go of him now." [Meru looks at Iahfy in embarrassment and lets go of Jack][Iahfy looks at Jack] "I didn't know that you were so popular."
Jack: [Grins at Iahfy] "Well... When you're this good-looking and have a lot of fangirls chasing you, it gets kinda difficult." [Looks at Iahfy's Guardian Jacked and sees the number 003] "Hey... I have a question."
Iahfy: [Nods] "Shoot."
Jack: [Smirks and leans on his staff] "Are you the Guardian that flew beautifully over Burgess a couple of months ago? And are you the same Guardian that took on the Razgriz?"
Iahfy: [chuckles] "To answer your first question, I'll say that my flying is average. As for the second question, yes, I'm the guardian that took on the Razgriz. But it wasn't just me..." [Points to Rex and Meru] "These girls were also there in the battle. You should probably thank them as well."
Jack looked at Meru and Rex, who were nervously smiling at him. He glances back at Iahfy and notices that she was carrying a lot of stuff. Without hesitation, he took some of the stuff that Iahfy was struggling to hold on to, Catching Iahfy off guard.
Iahfy: [Surprised] "H-Hey! What do you think you're doing?
Jack: [Glances Back at Iahfy with a smirk] "You were struggling there for a bit. Don't mind me helping out. I wouldn't want to leave a cute girl like you doing all the heavy lifting."
Iahfy then felt her cheeks warm up as Rex and Meru noticed. With an Annoying glance, she rolled her eyes as she, Jack, and the others headed back to the base to get ready for the Christmas Party.

- V.O.P Air Force Base -
After talking with Marco, Boss headed back to his room. He knew that Marco had loved Catherine for a long time. Since they were the oldest in the group, it wouldn't surprise him if they decided to settle down already and such. Of course, it'll be lonely without them, but he knew they deserved to settle down and live a happy life after everything they've gone through.
Boss: [Chuckles and looks at his phone] (In Mind) "Who would have thought that one of my best friends is getting married to my other best friend?... I guess life can throw you curve balls in many ways... rather they are good or bad... They deserved to settle down and live a happy life... I wonder what it'll be like to get married..." [Shakes head as he puts his phone away] "Gah... What am I thinking? I can't get married now... not when the New Order is out there and destroying millions of innocent lives of lives... still... I guess it'll be nice to marry the person that you love... maybe one day I'll find that person... but either way... I can't settle down now. Not until the New Order is gone and peace has been restored. After that... I'll think about it..."
Just as he was thinking about all of these thoughts, he heard the sound of a piano playing in the background. He was in awe at how beautiful it sounded. He followed the sound, and as soon as he found the source, he was surprised to see Moka playing the piano they got as a gift from the land of animation.
Boss quietly entered the room and sat down on a chair to watch her play. She was so focused on playing that she didn't know that Boss was in the room.
He closed his eyes as he listened to Moka play the piano. After a few minutes of messing around, she started playing a song that Boss was familiar with when they went to the outer realms. The song that she started to play was "Walk Me Home" by Illenium & Said The Sky. It was one of his favorite songs that he discovered when he was in the outer realms. At that moment, he just sat back, and listened to Moka play.

As soon as Moka was finished, she got up and yelped as soon as she saw Boss. He also did the same thing.
Moka: [Catching her breath] "Jesus! You scared the living piss out of me!" [Pouts] "You know I don't like it when you come out of nowhere and scare me like that!"
Boss: [Nervous chuckle] "Sorry... I just wanted to hear you play." [Notices Moka blushing as she puts a hand on her left arm] "That song was beautiful..."
Moka: [Blushes in Embarrassment and looks away] "T-Thank you..."
Boss couldn't help but smirk as noticed Moka diverting her eyes away from his. He thought it was adorable. She looked like a little kid trying to hide her shyness.
Just then, he immediately thought about the Christmas party that was happening tonight. He remembered the gifts that he had bought for all his friends.
Boss: [Clears Throat] "By the way, are you going to the Christmas party?"
Moka: [Eyes Widen] "Oh, Shoot! I forgot that it was tonight. Where is it gonna be again?"
Boss: [Chuckles] "It's going to be at Mr. Ping's Noddle shop. I heard that the Furious Five, along with Jack & Hiccup, are gonna be there as well. I can't wait for the party tonight. It's gonna be amazing."
Moka: [Smiles] "Same here. Can't wait for the party tonight. I might have to dress up, though."
Boss: [raises an eyebrow] "How come?"
Moka: [Blushes as she taps her fingers] "Well..."
Before she could explain, they both heard a knock on the door. They turned around to notice Hiccup at the door. Their eyes widened in surprise. Hiccup was dressed up in the modern clothes that the girls bought for him, and they were amazed by how good he looked.
Hiccup: [Nervous] "H-Hey guys... What do you think?"
Moka: [Suprised] "O.M.G! You look amazing! I knew that those clothes would fit you!"
Boss: [Smirks] "Looking sharp there. If you walked into the village like that, you're gonna be hogging all the girl's attention."
Hiccup: [Rolls eyes] "Thanks for the praise. But if anyone is gonna hog the ladies' attention, it's gonna be you, Boss. After all..." [Smirks at Moka] "Somebody has the hots for ya."
Moka: [Blushes] "H-Hiccup!"
Hiccup just laughed as Boss looked at Moka with a curious expression. She noticed Boss looking at him as she felt her cheeks warm up and quickly diverted her eyes away as she was fixing her hair.
Moka: [Nervous laughs while blushing] "Sorry about that."
Boss: [Chuckles] "It's alright. Anyway, we should get going. We don't want to be late for the party."
Hiccup and Moka nodded their heads as they followed Boss out of the room. Just then, she realized that she needed to get something. She quietly left the boys as they made their way toward the village. She quickly entered her room and pulled out a small present from her nightstand. It was a small present wrapped in red paper with Golden Ribbons surrounding it. She let out a small sigh as she looked at the present in her hands.
Moka: [Worried expression] "It's been so long... I hope he likes it..."

- Kung Fu Panda Realm -
- Country Side. 70 miles from the Valley of Peace -
- 12:00 pm -
Almost a month has passed since Lauren, Alex, and Charlotte arrived in the realm of Kung Fu Panda. For days, they try to find the Great Guardian and his knights to no avail. The adventure itself had many backlashes. Alex caught a cold, and Charlotte was having cramps from all the walking they did. Either way, Lauren was starting to give up and thought that the Great Guardian was nothing but a legend. They were on a train heading toward the Valley of Peace after landing at the K.F.P Airport, which was 200 miles from the Valley. Thanks to Charlotte, the three of them managed to have their own private cart. It had three rooms. Each one has its own computer, bed, closet, and window. To top it all off, they have a small little bar that offers all kinds of drinks.
While Charlotte was coming back from the bar, after ordering two ice teas, she entered Laurens' room and noticed that she had headphones on while having a sad expression.
She rolled her eyes and pressed the cold tea against Lauren's cheeks, causing her to yelp.
Charlotte: [smirks] "You sound cute when you yelp~"
Lauren: [Pouts] "You know I don't like it when you or Alex do that. I easily get scared!"
Charlotte: [laughs] "But that's what makes you adorable~"
Lauren blushed after Charlotte said that. She couldn't help but laugh at Lauren for her adorableness. She found it kind of cute. She gave her the ice tea as the both of them leaned back against the glass while looking at the ceiling.
Lauren: [Sighs] "You know... I've been doing a lot of thinking lately..."
Charlotte: [Looks at Lauren] "About what?"
Lauren: [Plays with her cup] "We've been hunting the Great Guardian for a while now... and I'm starting to think that everything I did... was for nothing." [Charlotte was about to say something but got interrupted] "I know what you're gonna say... 'Why am I like this?'... Well, it's simple, really... When you are obsessed with something, and you want it, you learn more about it and try your hardest to understand it... For me, I try my hardest every single day to learn more about the Great Guardian and his knights... For you, he may just be another pilot that you fought against... but... for me... they are my heroes... I never met them in person, but they taught me to never give up and always try my best in everything. No matter how bad the situation is... They always had faith, belief, motivation, and so on... Even when they are getting shot at or blown up... When Disney shut down the Guardian program back then..." [A tear streams down her face] "I was afraid... afraid that the people who once fought for us... the ones who gave up their lives for us... will be forgotten and erased from history... as if they never existed..."
Charlotte: [Sad expression] "Lauren..."
Lauren: [Wipes a tear] "That's why I try my hardest every single day to find the Great Guardian... That's why I'm a journalist... Not just for the interview or to complete my documentary... but to thank him and his knights... for everything they did for us 10 years ago. And... for saving my family..." [Looks at Charlotte and bows] "I'm sorry that you and Alex have to struggle because of my selfish obsession... and I thank you for helping us... even though you didn't want to... but please... just hang on a little longer."
Charlotte felt her chest tighten up as she watched Lauren have a few tears stream down her face. Without hesitation, she pulled Lauren into a hug as she comforted the broken girl.
Charlotte: [Sad smile] "You don't have to apologize for anything... I'm here because I want to be here... Your story... along with your documentary, inspired many kids and people around the multiverse. You told the truth, and everyone loved it... Any kid at your age wouldn't be able to do what you're doing now..." [Pulls back and looks at Lauren] "So don't give up... If anyone can find him, it's you. And... I don't want to jinx it... but I believe something amazing will happen today... and all your efforts will be worth it."
Lauren smiled at Charlotte's words as she wiped a couple of tears away. Just then, the conductor's voice came through the speakers.
Train Conductor: [Through the speaker] "Attention passengers. We will arrive at the Valley of Peace in 2 hours. So sit back and enjoy the countryside."
Charlotte: [Smiles] "Sounds like we're in for a long ride."
Lauren: [Smiles and nods] "Yeah..."
Charlotte: [Heads for the door] "I'm gonna be in the lobby if you need me... I'm gonna look at the countryside. By the way, you should check up on Alex. He'll be happy to see you."
Lauren nodded her head as Charlotte exited her room. She went to the lobby, where she sat down and rested her arms while she looked out the window. Many things were going through her mind as they were going through the countryside. She also started to have doubts about finding the Great Guardian, but as the role model, she had to keep her head up and always stay positive.
Charlotte: [Sighs] (In Mind) "Guardian-San... I hope that you are here in this realm... I want to see you again..."

- The Village -
- 8:00 pm -
The time had arrived, and the Christmas Party was underway. Many of the villagers went up to the Guardians as they were asking for pictures or autographs as usual. Iahfy and her friends chilled at a table, telling stories about their adventures with some children along with their parents; Boss was talking to Poe and the furious five about something, Hiccup was with Marco, and Moka was next to the legendary Jack Frost.
Moka: [looks at Jack] "I gotta say... Despite being 300+ years old, I say that you still look good. You look like you're 24 or 25 years old."
Jack: [Cocky Grin] "Why, of course, I look great. I'm Jack Frost!"
Bruno: [Roles eyes] "Just because you're a L.O.D Hero doesn't mean that you always look amazing. You had some moments where you messed up big time. Not only that, The fan girls go crazy for you because of your looks. It annoys me."
Jack: [Looks at Bruno] "Says the one that people wrote a song about in the movie Encanto. No wonder why they don't talk about you."
Bruno: [Annoyed look] "Hey. That's a different Bruno. Besides, in that movie, all those people do is sing and complain. Honestly, it reminds me of Frozen 1 and 2. As for Elsa, All she did was sing, let it go, and build a giant ice castle and a talking snowman. Not only that, she has the looks of a game of thrones princess. Why do you think so many people in the R.O.R. have so many naughty pictures of her?!"
Jack: [Annoyed] "Hey! That's my princess right there!"
Bruno: [Rolls eyes] "Just stating the facts, man!"
While Jack and Bruno were going at it, Moka decided to excuse herself as she went around the village to look at all the decorations that they had put up. She was in awe at how decorated the village was, from the tiniest ornament to the massive Christmas tree that they put in the downtown area. Moka felt like she was back at Disney. She took a deep breath and looked up into the clouds with a smile on her face as the moon shined in the night sky.
Voice: "Isn't the moon beautiful?"
Moka turned around to see who called her name; sure enough, it was Puss in Boots—the most attractive cat in the Land of Dreams.
Moka: [Chuckles] "It sure is."
Puss: [Smiles] "I do not know why... but whenever I look up... I feel at peace with myself. It makes me feel like everything is going to be alright."
Moka: [Looks at the sky] "You can say that again. I can't believe that it's been a month since Burgress was liberated, and the Extremists haven't attacked yet. I wonder why..." [Sighs and looks down with a worried expression] "I'm a little anxious about that... If anything, we need to be prepared for the next attack."
Puss: [Looks at Moka] "Do you Guardians ever get a break from... you know... the action? Cause it sounds like you guys are anxious about another attack."
Moka: [Looks a Puss] "In all honesty, we barely get breaks. Because during the Heartless War, we were almost attacked every single day, and we had to fight against the..." [Looks around and whispers in Puss's ear] "New Order non-stop."
Puss: [Whispers] "The New Order? I thought they were nothing but legend... and folk tale. Where I'm from, we assumed the New Order was fake. But to hear it from you and say that they were real... Well... it's an entirely different story."
Moka: [Nods] "Yeah..."
Puss: [Smiles and jumps on Moka's shoulder] "If it makes you any happier, I saw Boss making his way toward the Jade palace with the Panda." [Smirks as he jumps off and points at Moka's pocket] "You know... If you plan on giving him your gift, I suggest you hide it better. It's sticking out like a thumb."
Moka looked down and noticed that her little present was noticeable as it was sticking out of her Pocket. Embarrassed, she quickly grabbed the present and hid it behind her back. Puss couldn't help but laugh as he left Moka to find Kitty. She looked up at the palace with a sigh and made her way up.

- Jade Palace -
While Moka was making her way up, Poe and Boss were going for a walk near Oogway's statue as they were telling each other stories and their adventures.
Boss: [Eyes sparkle] "So... You fought off against Shen's navy fleet all alone, stopped Kai from destroying the universe, and became a master of Chi?!"
Poe: [smirks and crosses his arms] "I don't like to brag, but... Yeah, I did."
Boss: [In awe] "That is so cool!"
Poe: [Chuckles] "Not as cool as you, thou. You've dealt with many things that not even I wouldn't be able to deal with. All I did was save my realm from countless dangers and stuff. You went on countless adventures and have seen some things that I haven't seen."
Boss: [Sits on a rock in front of Oogways Statue] "That may be true. But... many of the things that I've seen... sometimes I wish I could forget about it."
Poe: [raises an eyebrow as he sits next to Boss] "What do you mean?"
Boss: [Sighs & Looks at Poe] "While I may have seen things that were awesome and breathtaking. There were also moments that will haunt me for the rest of my life... Our journey in the outer realms wasn't like adventure time or vacationland. We were out there to find Oblivion and his New Order... Every realm we went to was either dangerous or peaceful. We've made many friends out there... but... we also lost a great majority of them... One event that I remembered clearly was the Realm of Little Witch Academia... We were young back then. At that time, it's been a while since we found sightings of the New Order, but when we got news of a sighting... we were so pumped that we left the realm without hesitation... Because of that... The New Order capitalized on our mistake and destroyed the beautiful realm that we once called home... Ever since that day... we vowed... that we will never let that happen again... So we stayed at Guardian Island or Dragons Edge for 10 years... Hidden from the multiverse... Only going on missions in pairs of two or three... but when we heard that the Land of Dreams was in a civil war... we..."
Poe: [Comforts Boss] "You didn't want to get involved in the war... because it's not your fight... right?" [Boss nods his head][Sighs] "Look... I understand that you didn't want to get involved since it wasn't your war. Not only that, You and your friends fought in The Heartless War and dealt with many things. We, as in the people of the land of dreams and Disney, have no right to ask you for more... but... as the hero of my realm... I only ask..." [Bows slightly] "Please... Help us end this war... Once this war is over... you and your friends can go back... And we will never get you involved with any of our conflicts again. Even if the war starts again and we lose... we will never bother you again with our selfishness..."
Boss looked at Poe, surprised to see the hero off the K.F.P. realm bowing his head. He let out a sigh as he gave Poe his answer.
Boss: [Serious expression] "You got it..."

- 8:30 pm -
Thirty minutes have passed since Boss and Poe had their conversation. A lot was going through his mind as he was relaxing under the legendary peach tree. He had a peach in his hand as he looked down on the village below before taking a bite. Before getting lost in his thoughts, he heard a familiar voice behind him.
Moka: [Grins and rolls eyes] "Nice..." [See's Boss turn around to face her][Arms crossed] "I see that you have found the sacred peach tree of heaven and wisdom."
Boss: [Eyes widen] "Oh..." [looks at the tree, then back at Moka] "That's what this is? Oh boy..."
Moka: [Grins and nods] "Relax... You're not the only one who ate a peach from the tree..." [Slams her fist against the trunk of the tree as another peach land on Boss's free hand] "I have to admit, they taste good." [Walks up to Boss]
Boss: [Smirks and gives Moka her peach] "I know, right? They are delicious. By the way, since when did you become a little rebel?" [Smirks] "You're mostly strict and full of pride."
Moka: [Looks at Boss and chuckles] "Whose fault do you think it is? You're always causing trouble where ever we go. Not only that, you were the one that told me to be loose once in a while."
Boss: [Annoyed look] "So it's my fault..." [Rolls eyes] "Great."
Moka couldn't help but giggle at Boss's childish behavior. It reminded her of the old days when they were 15 years old. Sometimes she wishes she could go back to those days. Just then, she noticed Boss standing up as he got to the edge of the cliff.
Boss: [Sighs] " I can't believe 10 years have gone by so fast..."
Moka: [Smiles and nods] "Same here. It felt like we were 15 yesterday and 25 the next day."
Boss: [Chuckles] "Yeah..." [Stands up] "I've... been doing a lot of thinking lately since we revealed ourselves..."
Moka: [Curiosous Look] "What's been on your mind?"
Boss: [Serious Expression] "Well... a lot of things. Such as the things we've seen, the people we met, and the memories we created during those 10 years... I'm very grateful for all the wonderful memories we made together—even the dark ones. I'm not saying that I enjoyed the dark moments because those were horrible, but... because of those memories, it made me who I am today. I was so afraid of leaving a realm ever since what happened in Little Witch Academia... I guess I was paranoid..." [Clenches fist and looks up with a smile on his face][Turns left] "But I'm not going to let fear nor guilt consume me anymore... I will make sure that their deaths will not be in vain... It may not be our war... but I will not stand on the sidelines and watch the horrible actions being committed. Why? Because I'm a Guardian... And Guardians never run."
Moka was amazed by Boss's words as she looked at him with the moon rising behind him. She always thought that Boss was amazing, but hearing these words from him made her fall in love all over again.
Just then, she realized that he had the gift for him.
Moka: [Clears her throat and stands up] "Boss..." [Boss looks at Moka] "I... have something for you..." [Pulls out the gift] "I hope you like it..."
Boss was surprised as he took the Gift. He looked at it and at Moka, who nodded her head. He opened the gift, and his eyes widened like pancakes as soon as he opened it.
Inside was a Silver Necklace with a Phoenix on it. He was surprised by how amazing it looked and beautifully crafted it was. He took it out of the box and held it in his hand.
Boss: [Amazed as he looks at it] "This... This is Beautiful..." [Looks at Moka] "Where did you get this?"
Moka: [Blushes as she plays with her fingers] "When we were in the Realm of Avatar. I asked one of the blacksmiths to make it while you and Zuko were practicing fire bending..."
Boss: "Realm of Avatar?" [Counts before realizing] "Holy shit... That was like five years ago..." [Worried] "You waited that long to give this to me?"
Moka: [Nods] "I sure did..."
Boss: [Little bit of guilt] "W-Why did you wait that long? Did I do something wrong?"
Moka: [Worried] "Oh no! You didn't do anything wrong. It's just..." [Sighs as she holds his hand] "You were going through a lot back then, and you were doing everything you could to keep the squad safe... Because of you... We are still here... Rex, Iahfy, The others, Me, we're are happy and thankful to have you as our captain... We wouldn't know what to do if you weren't..." [Takes the Necklace and puts it on Boss] "You are our Phoenix... A phoenix that lights the world from darkness and shines the light of hope and faith on everyone. You saved Disney... You saved the Land of Black and White... You saved other Multiverses... If it wasn't for you... I don't know what would have happened... So... Thank you, Boss... Thank you... For being in our lives... Especially mine..."
Boss was caught off Guard when Moka said that. He looked at her eyes and noticed how beautiful they were. Not only that, the smile that she had on her face lit his world up like a Christmas tree. It was at that moment that Boss felt his heart skip a beat. Moka was always strong in many ways, but she was also beautiful. For other people, they'll think that Moka is just another pretty girl. For Boss, he sees her more than that. He sees her as the most beautiful girl in all of Disney & The Land of Dreams. The Princesses of Disney may be beautiful, but Moka was on a different level. She's as beautiful... As a Phoenix.

- Village -
It was late at night, and Lauren was going on a night walk alone with her backpack. She had been going through a lot lately and wanted to get some air. Alex and Charlotte were at a Hotel sleeping. She knew that they were heavy sleepers, so she got out easily. Lauren was going through the village as she noticed the citizens in their homes celebrating Christmas with their families. She missed her family back home since they were at Disney.
She also received gifts from Alex and Charlotte, but as amazing and thankful for the gifts, she felt like something was missing. She let out a sigh and looked at the night sky above her.
Lauren: [Sighs] "It's a beautiful night tonight... I kinda wish Alex was here..."
Just then, she heard the sound of children running around the area as they were playing tag. She remembers the days when she was a little girl back then. When she used to play with her friends back at Disney, however, she lost a lot of friends when the Heartless War happened. But thanks to the Guardians, her family, along with a couple of her friends, survived, and now they are living their best lives. She smiled at the night sky as she made her way toward the Jade Palace.

- Jade Palace -
30 minutes went by as Lauren reached the top of the mountain. She never thought in a million years that she would be at the Jade Palace. She pulled out her camera and started to take pictures of the palace. The architecture and the history around were fascinating, and Lauren wanted to get all of it.
Voice: "Didn't anyone tell you that pictures aren't allowed to be taken?"
Lauren jumped and quickly turned around to notice a tall South Chinese Tiger woman looking at her with a smirk. Lauren knew who it was; it was Tigeress. Leader of the Furious Five and Poe's close friend.
She quickly hid the Camera behind her back at tried to act innocent. She was very intimidated by the Tiger women.
Lauren: [Shocked] "T-Tigeress..."
Tigeress: [Smirks] "Seems like my name gets around quick." [Jumps down in front of Lauren] "You do realize it's illegal to take pictures at this hour, right?"
Lauren: [Trying to act innocent ]"Pictures? What Pictures? I-I don't know what you're talking about. I think you're just seeing things."
Tigress: [Chuckles] "Don't play dumb with me, human. I can see the Camera behind your back. It's casting a shadow."
Lauren turned around and noticed the Camera shadow. She let out a sigh of defeat and revealed the Camera.
Lauren: [Sighs] "Fine. you got me. It's that I haven't been to the Jade Palace and it's my first time here. At least I want to take some pictures and remember that I was here."
Tigeress: [Crosses her arms] "Is that so?" [Lauren nods] "Look, I'm going to say this once. This area is off-limits, and guests are allowed to come back to the palace tomorrow at 7 am."
Lauren: [Raised eyebrow] "7 am? I thought the palace was open 24/7. That's what I saw on the flyers."
Tigeress: [Shrugs] "Well. Things have changed." [Notices the Disney badge on her Camera] "I see that you are from Disney. You came a long way from home, Human. What are you doing out here anyway?"
Lauren: [Clears throat] "First, My name is Lauren, not human. Second... Well... you might find this hilarious, but... I'm trying to find the Great Guardian of Disney."
Tigress widened her eyes as she looked around to make sure that no one was around. She let out a sigh before crossing her arms again. Lauren noticed that her behavior had changed from a smirk to a serious expression.
Tigeress: [Serious expression] "So... You want to find the Great Guardian, eh?" [Laurens Nods] "What for?"
Lauren: [Chuckles] "Well... Reasons..."
Tigeress: [Corsses her arms] "What kind of reasons?"
Lauren: [Nervous] "Well..."
Tigeress: [Serious] "Miss Lauren, if you don't answer my questions. I'm going to have to ask you to leave the palace. This is a restricted area, and I'm in charge of making sure no one is here... So answer my questions or get thrown out. And I know when you are lying. So... I'll ask again." [Looks at Lauren in the eyes] "Why do you want to find the Great Guardian?"
Lauren knew that she couldn't hide anything from Tigeress. She tried so hard to keep her poker face up. But at last, it shattered.
Lauren: [Sighs] "Fine... You want to know why... I'll tell you why..." [Tigeress backs off a bit and hears Lauren out] "People... regardless of where they are from... Jump to conclusions quickly. Rather they hear something or see something, they always come up with something and just put it in an emotional box. "The Guardians aren't real" or "You are going after a fairy tale." It's up to people like me to expose the truth and tell the real facts. Because truth and facts are the one currency that runs through the Multiverses, it's how history is made and how leaders become elected. I want facts. Facts from the source. With that... my second reason is that... I don't believe that their story is over... I really want to see how it ends... and not only that... I want to thank him... for saving me, my friends, and my family from the New Order... if It wasn't for them... I wouldn't be here..."
Tigeress was shocked by the statement that Lauren made. She had no idea that Lauren was a survivor of the Heartless War. She started to feel bad for how she behaved.
Lauren: [Sighs] "Look, I'm sorry for bothering you. I'm just gonna go... I gave up on finding him anyway..." [Starts to walk away]
Tigeress: [Sighs] "Wait." [Lauren stops and turns around] "If I told you he is here... would you believe me..."
Lauren: [Eyes widen and quickly runs up to Tigeress] "Yes! Please tell me you are not joking!"
Tigeress: [Serious expression] "Come with me..."
Tigeress started to walk away and grabbed a lantern. Lauren followed her and got a little scared, but she knew that this was worth the risks.

Minutes passed as they got to the other side of the Jade Palace. Lauren was looking around to make sure that they were not in a sketchy area. The last thing she wanted was to deal with gangsters and stuff.
Tigeress: [Smirks] "I sense that you are afraid. But no need. It's just up ahead."
Lauren: [Nervous chuckle] "I see..." [Silence for a few seconds] "If you don't mind... Can you tell me at least we are going?"
Tigeress: [Continues to lead the way] "I'm taking you to the path of the Sacred Peachtree."
Lauren: [Raises an eyebrow] "The Peachtree? Why there..."
Tigeress: [Glances Back] "You'll see..."
Lauren just nodded her head and followed Tigeress. Minutes passed as they arrived at the path of the peach tree. Tigeress stopped as she turned around and gave Lauren the lantern.
Tigeress: [Gives Lauren the lantern] "This is far as I can go... If you continue straight... You'll find your answer..."
Lauren: [A little sacred but nods her head] "Thank you... I'm... I'm nervous... Are you sure he's up there?" [Tigeress nods] "Okay..."
Lauren made her way up the path as Tigeress watched her go. She couldn't help but be happy for Lauren. Meeting the hero that saved Disney was one of the best experiences ever. She let out a sigh as she continues her patrol.

While Tigeress left to get on patrol, Lauren started to feel Dissy as she made her way up. Her head was spinning, her heart was racing, and her legs were shaking. She, at long last, is about to meet the Great Guardian. Her Hero, Her Savior, and Her Inspiration. Every step she took was like an eternity. Finally, after 5 minutes of walking, she reached the top. Her eyes widened when she saw him.
She felt tears streaming down her face as she fell to her knees, Making Boss turn around.
Boss: [Sees Lauren] "Woah! Who are you?! How did you get here?!"
Lauren: [On her knees with tears streaming down her face] "It's you... After all this time... I finally found you..."
Lauren started to sob as Boss was caught off guard. He walked up to Lauren to make sure that she was okay. She looked up when she saw Boss's face. She quickly stood up and hugged him, catching him off guard. Boss's eyes widened in shock, but he heard her crying as he comforted Lauren. She hugged him as if it was her last day alive. The feeling of pain, suffering, doubt, guilt, & fear were all washed away. She cried and cried for minutes before letting him go.
Lauren: [Wipes a couple of tears while chuckling] "Sorry... I know this is weird, and we just met. But I can't help it... This is completely unprofessional of me..."
Boss: [Chuckes] "It's okay... but... who are you? And how did you know me?"
Lauren: [Pulls herself together and shows Boss her Disney Journalist Badge] "My name is Lauren Ferrari. I'm a Journalist from the Disney News Network and... I'm a survivor of the Heartless War..." [Boss widened his eyes] "You and your Guardians... saved us from the New Order... You gave us hope... You made us believe... because of you... Many children at Disney were inspired by you... and I was one of them... You may not realize this... but I have been looking for you for a long time... I searched every realm, every multiverse, every city... and now... all that effort... was finally worth it..."
Boss: "Lauren, huh?" [Lets out a sigh and smiles] "I see... but since you came all this way to find me and the fact that you are a journalist..." [Smirks] "I take it that you have some questions..."
Lauren: [Laughs] "You have no idea..."
Boss: [Chuckles] "It'll have to wait for tomorrow. It's pretty late..." [Walks passed, Lauren. Stops and turns around] "Did you come here alone?"
Lauren: [Shakes her head] "No. I came here with my friends. There are three of us."
Boss: "I see... I'll escort you back to the village. I assume that you're staying at a hotel?" [Lauren Nods] "Nice. Let's get going..." [Walks ahead]
Lauren: [realizes that he's leaving and follows him] "Mr. Guardian. W-Will there be any chance... that... you know... I can interview you?"
Boss: [Chuckles] "As much as I love to, I have to get ready for a mission tomorrow. So my schedule is packed." [Lauren put on a sad expression. Boss noticed before he let out a sigh] "But... I can introduce you to the other members of Guardian Squadron... will that work?"
Lauren: [Eyes sparkling] "Yes! Thank you so much, Mr. Guardian!"
Boss: [Looks at Lauren with a smile] "Please. Call me Boss."
Lauren: [Blushes] "Y-Yes, Guardian! I-I mean, Boss!"
Boss couldn't help but laugh at Lauren's childish behavior. Other than his squadron, it was good to see someone from Disney. He had so many questions for her as she did for him. Lauren, at long last, met his idol, and she is living the dream.

- Valley of Peace Airforce Base -
After Boss dropped off Lauren at the hotel, he went back to the Christmas party and was greeted by no other than Iahfy herself.
Iahfy: "Boss!" [Jumps on him and kisses his cheek] "Where the hell were you?! We were waiting forever!"
Boss: [Laugh and gently puts her down] "Sorry. I had to deal with something."
Iahfy: [Puts her hands on her hips and pouts] "You better make it up to me. I had to handle Rex and the others on my own while Moka was having a drinking competition with Astrid. Not only did I have to keep an eye on the others, but I had to carry Moka's drunk ass back to her room and It. Was. Brutal! God, that girl is so competitive and rock-headed. She was never gonna beat Astrid."
Boss: [Laughs] "Oh man. I wish I could see that. I think you handled it just fine."
Iahfy: [Pouts and lightly punches Boss's shoulder] "You're mean..."
Boss and Iahfy went to the bar to meet up with everyone. They were the only ones awake with one of the old Mechanic. His name was Paul, and it was his last day at the job before retirement. He was 75 years old.
Marco: [Lifts his beer] "Congrats on your retirement, Paul. You earned it."
Paul: [Nods and smiles] "Thanks, guys... You know... I may have received many gifts throughout my life... but this gift is the sweetest of them all..."
Rex: [Smiles as she crosses her arms] "You can say that again... I bet many of the Loyalists pilots are going to miss having you around."
Paul: [Chuckles] "Maybe... But I'm going to live it up. By the way, I forgot to mention. I have a gift for you, Guardians... There's this new guy that I called up. He's going to be your next mechanic from now on..."
Meru: [Raises an eyebrow] "Who is it?"
Paul couldn't help but smirk as he looked in the direction of the Mechanic's voice. Everyone was curious to see who it was. But as soon as they saw the new mechanic, their eyes lit up like a Christmas Tree.
Voice: [talking to one of the mechanics] "...and basically, all I said to him was-" [See's Boss and the Guardians] "Oh! Hell! NO!"
Boss and his squadron: [Eyes Widen] "MECHANIC STEEEEEVE!"
In an instant, Boss and his friends quickly ran up to Steve and hugged him like there was no tomorrow.
Steve: [Grunts as he tries to shake the Guardians Off] "What in gods name are your asses doing here?!"
Boss: [Tears of joy] "We missed you so much!"
Iahfy: [Puppy eyes] "You have no idea how long we waited for this moment! You have returned!"
Bruno: [Hyped] "This is the best gift ever!"
Steve: [Groans] "I only came here for a job! I'm not here to deal with your sorry asses!" [Looks at paul] "Paul, don't tell me that I'm going to be fixing not only the loyalist jets... but the Guardians X-wings as well?!"
Paul: [Smirks and crosses his arms] "Well... what can I say... They love you and miss you... so... have fun!" [Realzies something] "Oh! I forgot to mention." [Points at a mistletoe hanging above the doorway] "Who's gonna go under the mistletoe?~"
At that moment, a switch was flipped as Rex and Iahfy ran underneath the mistletoe as they were trying to fight for a spot. Boss and the others were surprised by this. Paul realized that the girls want to be kissed by Boss, and he couldn't help but smirk.
As for Steve, he immediately regretted coming to the Land of Dreams. He wanted nothing to do with the Guardians, but yet, here they were. On the outside, it may look like he hated them, but on the inside, he missed them as well. They were like his family... and he is right where he is meant to be.
