It's been three days since I saw Lucas. I was in the hospital for a day and a half. After, Ms. Johnson found me unconscious at the mall. The way Lucas talked to me was like a slap on the face.
I'm currently laying down on the couch seeing Ms. Johnson cook in the kitchen. I placed my hand on my stomach where Lucas was pointing at. I could see this bruise that had formed a few hours when I woke up at the hospital. Dr. Jones and Ms. Johnson were curious to know how I got it. I couldn't tell the truth, so I lied saying I hit myself accidentally when I was reaching for something in my room.
"Here, you should eat this it will make you feel better" Ms. Johnson said while handing me a tray of food
"Thanks" I stared at the soup that she made me
"Vanessa, do you need anything else sweetie" she said while she took a seat next to me
"No Ms. Johnson, It's alright" I said
"You should eat you haven't eaten anything all day" she said while I played with the soup
"It's just that I'm not hungry" I said with an Innocent smile
"At least eat some of it" she said while getting up and walking to the kitchen
I been staring at the soup for a while when I felt the urge to go to the bathroom. I carefully got up and made my way across the living room.
I turned around to see Ms. Johnson coming to me
" Are you alright Vanessa" she said looking at me
For some reason I feel liquid running down between my legs. As I looked down I felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen.
I screamed due to the pain I was edurcing
"Ms. Johnson" I said in between my breath " My... water... broke"
"Ahhhhhh....." I screamed
"Let me get the baby bag and we'll be on our way to the hospital" she said running into my room
Not less than a minute later she was by my side guiding me to the door.
"Deep breath Vanessa. Deep breath " she said trying to keep me calm
I tried to keep calm, but how can I this pain is killing me.
At the hospital
"Come on Vanessa, push" Ms. Johnson said in tears
I know she hates seeing me in pain
The pain I'm going through right now is killing me
"Push. Baby number one is almost here" Dr. Jones said
"Ahhhhh" I screamed as I pushed
Seconds later we heard a baby cry. I was crying by now.
"Congratulations It's a boy" Dr. Jones said while handing my baby boy to one of the nurse
I cried. A boy. I have a baby boy.
"Wow. I became a Nana" Ms. Johnson said between her sobs
"Vanessa, you need to push in order for baby number two to arrive" the doctor said
"I can't do it" I cried " I hurts so much"
"Come one Vanessa you could do it" Ms. Johnson said while holding my hand "Do it for your baby"
I nodded my head and pushed
After pushing and screaming my baby finally came. I became a mother of two beautiful babies at once.
On this day September 6 became the most happiest day of my life
"Congratulations its a baby girl" the doctor said
"I'm so happy for you Vanessa, dear" Ms. Johnson said while looking at my crying babies
"Thank you Ms. Johnson for being here with me" I said while crying
I don't know what happened after that because darkness took me over. The last thing I heard were my babies crying.
Hours later
I was finally holding my baby girl while Ms. Johnson held my baby boy.
There was a knock at the door and in came Dr. Jones and nurse Goodwill.
"So Ms. Collen, do you have any names for your little ones" he said while looking at his clipboard
"Yes, I do" I said while looking a my sleeping little girl
"This little angle right here will be named Kylie" I said while looking at her sleeping peacefully
"And that handsome baby boy that's with his nana is Kyle" I said while looking at my baby boy with Ms. Johnson.
"And that handsome baby boy that's with his nana is Kyle" I said while looking at my baby boy with Ms. Johnson.
"Beautiful names for these beautiful babies" he said " Okay, nurse Goodwill will assist you with anything you need" he said before leaving
"Once again congratulations Vanessa" she said while looking at the monitor that was next to me
"Thanks"
"I'm just going to check your blood pressure then I'll be on my way" she said taking one on my arm carefully
As she was about to check we all heard loud voices approaching the door. After a few seconds the door flew open and income Rosa with a huge teddy bear in one hand and balloons in the other.
By the look on her face. She was desperate to see my little ones. Mia came behind her with a gift in her hand and a smile on her face.
"I can't believe you didn't call me" Rosa said as she dropped the bear and approached me to get Kylie from me
I giggle at her reaction.
"Well hello to you too, then"
"OMG, look at her chubby cheeks" she said while pinch them "She's so adorable" she said while gushing all over her
"Would you please stop. Your embarrassing me" Mia said
"Omg, your just jealous that your not holding her" she said while sticking her tongue out
Mia just rolled her eyes
"Anyways, How are you Vanessa" she said while looking at me "I'm sorry I haven't called or seen you, I been busy with work lately" she said while a sigh
"I'm alright" I said while looking at Ms. goodwill writing on her clipboard
"Alright, everything seems to be alright" she said while looking at me " I'm guessing that you'll be able to go home tomorrow around noon" I nodded my head
"Thank you" I said
"No worries, that's my job to take care of you" she said and left
"Can I hold the baby boy" Rosa said while looking at Ms. Johnson
"Don't even start with me" Ms. Johnson said directly to Rosa
Mia and I laugh at Rosa pouty face

Lucas pov
Why do I have this feeling that I need to be somewhere.
"What's wrong" Marcus said
"Nothing" I said
What's wrong with me today?
"Anyways, Andrew is on his way" Marcus said while looking at his phone
Oh geez. Whenever he comes here it's like taking care of a five year old. What the fuck does he think this place is. A day care?
I started to fidgeting in my seat uncomfortable
"What's wrong man. You seem tense " Marcas said now looking at me
"Why do I feel like I'm supposed to be somewhere" I could feel it in my heart and mind
As much I try to ignore it. It doesn't seem to leave me.
"I don't know man" Marcus furrowed his eyebrows
I shook my head
"When is Andrew coming" I said trying to change the subject
"He is suppose to be here within 30 minutes" he said checking his wrist watch
I need to distract myself. I never felt this way before.
