I remember what Ichika said on this trip. People don't like to be alone, and I'm no different.
Recently I don't mind having one of those girls ramble about anything and everything they think, so I bet Futaro thinks like that somewhere in his heart.
Plus Kina wanted me to give him this bag of candy. He gets bloody noses from chocolate so we stayed away from those. I'm sure he won't mind me them.

Schools over pretty quickly. I have to go to the girls house today. I almost forget about that since it's been a while. I'm sure Futaro's there but with this paycheck I'll get a coffee. I need it.
I ran out of my house and just grabbed a random sweatshirt. It's the one I got from the mall. It's the first time wearing it actually.
I heard one of the girls did bad on their test so I have to help them with that. I'm pretty sure we got all 5 sisters with us now so that's. . . Work.

This is a ok plan, but if we're being realistic, they're all stupid. They all must have failed this test, and I bet Futaro knows this. He's just seeing how they do now.

God they all have bad handwriting. Talk about sloppy. Miku has some of the best, Itsuki's is a bit better but this is spelled wrong, Nino tries to be formal but it comes off wrong, and Yotsuba's looks like a crime scene.

I wonder what that's all about. I remember Futaro when we were younger. I never talked to him, hell we didn't go to the same school but we did take a trip where our school mixed. He was a little asshole from memory. He actually made fun of me on that trip, then he got lost or something and I didn't really see him after that.
Then I saw him once over summer. I was in this study program and he was there, and we got paired together.

Akira: Money is everything, and those guys make a lot of it. My family needs it too, so, if I work hard now, they can all just take an easy.

Uesugi: Well, ok.
Akira: Anyway. Taking notes isn't that hard. Jot down what the teacher says and what's in the books, then go home and write what you did in the day in a different book with neater handwriting and with more detail.
Uesugi: That's a lot of work.
Akira: It is but the pay off is good. Oh, here, take this. I have an extra.
Uesugi: What's this?
Akira: It's a note card ring holder. There's even some on there. Just put little notes on them and you can study on the go without a mess.
Uesugi: Oh, thanks.

That was when he really started to try, and then he passed me in grades. I created a monster I say. Well, whatever. We get along pretty well now so I take it as a win. Now we just need to see how to make these girls like little Futaro's.

It's Thanksgiving labor day, a day off in other words. The girls haven't messaged me about anything so I don't think they want to study today.
(Thanksgiving Labor Day is a Japanese holiday of sorts where they are to thank the money and all the people who work. It can be a day off in some places. Takes place on November 23)
I have to go shopping today. It's just me because my mother and sister don't know how to conserve money. I'll get some stuff and just walk around. It's nice to get some sun once and a while.

She kicks Futaro and he stumbles to his feet then starts to head in the direction of his home.
Meanwhile Akira made it to his door. He sits in front of it and breathes. Someone turns the corner and it was his mother.
Ayia: Akira, why are you just sitting here? Did you hurt yourself?
Akira: No I'm ok mom. I just ran home.
Ayia: Oh well don't scare me like that. You almost gave me a heart attack.

Ayia helps her son to his feet and they walk in. Kina welcomes the two and showed them the hot pot she made for them.

He gets up and walks to the door. He stands right before it, his hand shaking. He was fearful to see his father on the other side. Akira leans to the door knob and opens it, showing Futaro.

Futaro: May I enter?
Akira: Yes, yes you may.
They walk in and Kina gets up and hugs Futaro.
Kina: Hi Futaro, what brings you over here?
Futaro: Hello Akina, I just stopped by to hand this to Akira.
He showed a little notecard ring.
Futaro: This is yours. You dropped it.
Akira: Oh, thank you Futaro.
Kina: MOM! Can Futaro stay and eat with us!?
Ayia: I don't see why not?
Futaro: Why thank you. I am a bit hungry.
The two guys sit down. They all clap their hands together and thank for the food. Then they start eating.
Futaro: This is really good. Thank you.
Kina: It's no problem. I'm happy you came over. It's always better to eat with others.
Ayia: And we do have the food.
Futaro: Still thank you. Akira, are you ok?
Kina: Yeah you've been really quiet, what up with that?
Akira: It's nothing.

She leans on her son and plays with his hair.
