He turns up right on time. We tell Kylie and Caleb, but she tells us she's busy and he has to wait. Everytime we hear her moan or cry out he looks up and grits his teeth.
"She knew I was coming at this time. I understand her having multiple mates and needing to say a goodbye, but does she really have to be so vocal? I don't like hearing it, especially when i haven't mated with her yet"
"No offence, Declan. But none of us care what you do and don't like. We all had a fall out recently and this is us making up before she goes with you. It's just taking longer than expected. If you don't like it you can step outside" Keelan snaps. We're all sitting around or leaning against walls and door frames In the living room. Waiting for Kylie to come down. And this isn't the first comment he's made about her having sex while he's waiting. And he's getting more and more agitated.
"I don't mean any disrespect, your highnesses. I mean it in the way, it's not fair as she hasn't mated with me yet and I can hear her fucking someone else. She's teasing me and I don't like it. We've known We're mates for a long time now. It's getting frustrating. I'm a wolf, my beast is not happy with the wait" He then tells us. That's when she screams, his eyes light up with whatever he's thinking. Somehow none of us can hear his thoughts right now, so he must have had the Witch block them somehow. Though he wouldn't know we can now hear them, so it doesn't make sense.
"About time. At least it's only 5 min-.. for fuck sake. Can one of you speak with her? Does she know I'm here?" He growls
"We can. She knows. She's busy right now though, as you can hear" I say with a smirk on my face. All I want to do is rip his throat out. I Know the others feel the same. But we have to play nice and act like we don't know he is a lying piece of shit. He growls under his breath and looks at his watch.
It's not long when we hear them open the bedroom door. But then it goes silent. Why are they taking so long to come down the stairs? When we hear her moan and the bang we all put 2 and 2 together, especially when we hear him say Princess. So he caught her coming out of the room and decided to say bye and fuck her again. When I hear her start to say Tejus's name I say a little loudly
"Do you have a room set up for us? I know it was short notice about me and Blake coming. But for her safety we think it's for the best" His head snaps to mine and he looks confused.
"You and Blake are accompanying Kylie? I didn't realise this" I wonder if she forgot to tell him or if she wanted him to be unprepared.
"Yes, last minute. She must have forgotten to tell you. And you know her guards are coming?" I ask at the right time. Because she starts to scream Te and then cuts off. Those idiots are going to give this away if they don't shut up. Good thing we're having a conversation, otherwise he'd have heard the 2 very distinct male voices.
"Yes I know of her guards. I have their accommodation set up. I didn't know about you 2 so don't have anywhere set up for you. I'll have to put you in the house with us for now" I nod in agreement and it's gone silent again. I hope he doesn't think she will be sleeping with him in his bed.
"This is getting ridiculous! Will someone ask her to come down!" He exclaims. Zander tells them that he's going off on one, or tries to, but Tejus tells us to fuck off and Caleb says don't care. Great, now their both fucking her. I don't care that they are, it keeps her here longer and as me and Blake are going with her we can have her whenever.
"Sorry, but she is not really listening right now" Seb tells him. He's about to say something when his phone goes off. He pulls it out of his pocket and says
"Excuse me, but I have to take this" He answers putting it to his ear then says
"Amy… things are taking longer than expected…one moment" He looks at us and says
"I'll just take this outside. Hopefully they are done by the time I get back" He says annoyed and walks off, his witch following.
"... don't be disrespectful… don't forget your place. You're lucky I need you or else you wo-" I don't hear the rest as he shuts the front door and bounds down the steps, his witch close behind.
"I really, really, really wanna fucking kill him. And we have to watch as he puts his hands on her and kisses her-"
"Fuck Blake! Give it a rest. I don't need you putting images there when I know it's inevitable. I swear we've had this conversation before! We will have to just deal with it at the time" Zander growls
"Seriously Blake?"
"What? I'm just telling the truth. I don't fucking like it and if I have to think about it right now, all of you dicks can too" He snaps.
"Cut him some slack, Zan. Him and Drav are the ones who have to witness it more than us. I'd be thinking about it too if I was them" Keelan says.
"Alright, guys. Let's not do this now, with him just outside… what is taking them so fucking long?" No sooner have I said that and I come over feeling sick. The others must have too as they look pale and hold their stomachs. We all pull ourselves together when Declan comes back in through the door.
"Someone check Kylie" I say and Sebastian asks
"Everything OK? We all started feeling sick. Did something happen?" Caleb then says in a huff.
"Kylie took the spell involving Tejus off. It wasn't pretty and I've banned her from using it ever again. She was just violently sick. Keelan we need to disguise Tejus as one of her guards. He's gonna have to go with her" Fuck. Now I wanna go see if she's OK. Declan brings us back to the room when he snaps
"Hello. Is anyone listening? Will she be much longer? I have obligations I need to get back for" His impatience is doing my fucking head in. Why did he need to come get her anyway?
"How much longer is this going to take? He's already complaining that he's got obligations he needs to get back-"
"I don't give a fuck, Zan. If he's that fucking bothered, tell him to go. Dravon, Blake and Tejus are more than capable of escorting her there when we're ready. Why did he fill the need to come get her anyway?" Funny. I was just thinking the same thing.
"I don't fucking know! What do I tell him then?" Zander barks back. I look at Declan and say
"Sorry, Declan. She's not ready yet. She's having a hard time knowing we aren't all going with her. You understand. She's going to feel their absence and is reluctant to leave. So you can go and we will bring her when she's ready or you can wait. But enough with complaining about her taking too long. It's not going to make her any quicker and none of us are going to rush her either" He grits his teeth but plasters a smile on his face.
"Of course. You're right. I apologise and will wait" Keelan then excuses himself so he can go help Caleb.
"Good. Now that's settled, can I offer you a drink while you wait?" I offer.
"No, Thank you. I'll just wait outside. I have some calls I need to make," He says politely with a smile.
"Sure. If you change your mind, we will be here. Otherwise we will bring her out when she's ready" Sebastian adds. He nods and is back out the door again, Phone to his ear.
"I really can't fucking stand that guy" Blake spits when he knows Declan won't hear him. I ignore his obvious statement and take a seat. I wish this week was over already. No, I wish she would listen to us and not go. She's right that she might be able to gain more information this way. But I'd rather her not go, fuck the information, we can and will keep her safe. It might all end up being for nothing anyway. And then there's this mystery woman that we have to keep an eye out for. What if we don't see her though? Caleb's premonitions, though they come to fruition, aren't always within days or even weeks. It can sometimes be years. That's why he draws and dates everything. Once he knows it's happened, he finds the picture and puts the happened date on it and the time it took. Here's hoping this week goes quickly.
~Tejus~
After she finishes throwing up, I lay her on the bed. I hate it, but I'm too happy to care right now. She's finally taken the spell off and everything is how it should be. Apart from this minor sickness spell. I'm about to stand up so I can go grab her a toothbrush and something to rinse her mouth out with before she does this disguise spell, but she pulls me down and I land on top of her.
"Where are you going?" She says with a pout.
"I was just gonna get you a toothbrush, Princess" I chuckled and pushed up on the bed.
"No need" She says and waves her hands, cleaning her mouth. Then she smiles showing her teeth.
"Ok. Let's do this disguise spell then. Caleb, did you get it ready?" I ask him.
"Yeah. Unless you wanna do it, flower?" We look at her and she says
"If you have it ready, go for it. Saves my energy" Keelan steps forward with a chalice in hand, hands it to me and explains.
"It's gonna taste like dirt, but this will last and not wear off until you're all back. And only Kylie can use the commands to see you, so it's not done accidentally by others" I wrinkle my nose as it doesn't smell great either. Then I put it to my lips and down the contents.
"Urgh. Dirt my arse. That tasted like-"
"Yeah I know. But if I told you what it actually tasted like you'd have had that in your head and been sick yourself" Keelan laughs as I feel a tingle come over my face. It feels like I have a thin layer of film permanently on my face. It's weird but not uncomfortable, guess that's so I know when I have and haven't got it on.
"Dick… now, Princess. Has it worked? Do you like my new face?"
"You know, I think I like this face bett-ha.. Tejus…stop… I'm kidding… I'm kidding!" The cheeky minx. I start tickling her until she says she's kidding and then lay beside her.
"I was joking!" She says and pushes me, making me fall off the bed. I hear her snort a laugh and I stand.
"So who's face am I wearing?" I ask Keelan.
"Jake's brothers. He got permission and I quickly grabbed from him what I needed-"
"Yeah, I don't wanna know thanks" I say
"Fair enough. Firefly, you wanna give the commands a go?" She sits up and looks at me.
"Let me see you" She commands and I feel the tingle and film gone.
"Now the other one" Keelan tells her
"Hide from sight" again the tingle and film come back.
"Ok. That's working. I guess it's time to go" She says but doesn't move.
"Princess. Everything OK? Are you ready?"
"Yeah. No. But let's go" She ends with a sigh. She stands, walks over to me and kisses me.
"What was that for?" I ask her.
"That's going to be the last kiss I get from you for a while. Stay close Ok?" I pull her into my arms as I say
"Always. Let me just..." I put my hands either side of her head and lean my forehead against hers. She should only feel a little pressure for a moment as I create an impenetrable force field around her mind.
"What was that?" She asked me.
"I just built a wall around your mind so only your mates can hear your thoughts. Declan will be able to hear you still as you're just using your wolf link. Otherwise no one can hear thoughts that you don't want them to. Except us, obviously" I steal one more, quick kiss and we all make our way down the stairs.
