The next night, the moon was eerily absent. The sky was thick and heavy with mourning from the weight of the silver orbs disappearance. Within the foreboding depths of the forest, the light of twelve dozen flaming torches illuminated the return of the long since missing servants with terrifying brilliance. Marching with regimented precision, the sinister soldiers maintained a menacingly monotonous pace. Their nightmarishly hideous faces wore the same shared bleached and soulless stare.
Leading the unearthly army of the damned was Keonhee. Fully armoured with a crown placed proudly on his head. At either side of him were Ravn and Xion, also armoured, their expressions stern. Ravn's elegant fingers ran across a blade secured to his side. A grim reminder of the previous nights events, where he had been persuaded to assist Keonhee in yet another ceremony. This time, a sadly regrettable sacrifice had been made. Now their mission was to ensure that the selfless death of their brother had not been in vain.
The final key to the permeance of their dark salvation, and humanities destruction, was the princess.
