Almost a month was over since ManLak had left. Wedding preparations were in full swing in India while in America laksh was doing well and was absolutely ready for the operation. MaNan daily spoke with each other through video calls. This one month had been very tough for Ragini. With every passing day she was sinking further. She felt alone and left out. She didn't speak much these days. Nandini tried to speak to her and be by her side but failed as Ragini just smiled and made an excuse to walk away. To dodge these repeated interactions she stayed out most of the times. Swarna was pissed at her most of the times as she didn't do anything or even help Swarna when the marriage date was coming so near and she had to do everything alone may it be going for shopping or working with the wedding planner finalizing the decorations or caterers or venue or anything. There was a time when Ragini was the most excited person for her Di's wedding, she wanted everything to be as per her will and now it looked like she didn't want to do anything.

It was night before laksh's operation. He was lost and upset. He was nervous and scared. He wished his family was here at this moment AND his wish came true. There was full on chaos in the living room and by the voices he knew it was his family. He hurriedly came out on his wheelchair with ear to ear smile on his face and saw them. His happiness knew no boundaries seeing them all here.
All - SURPRISE!!!!
There were tears of happiness in his eyes seeing all of them including his bhabhi. But his happiness was short lived as one important person was missing. Well it won't be difficult to guess who the missing person was. Yes Ragini didn't show up though she was dying to be with him specially at this moment but stopped thinking he wouldn't want to see her there.
Laksh wanted to ask about her but couldn't.
Laksh - bhabhi woh uncle aunty nahi aaye?
Nandini - woh aane waale they but last minute cancel ho gya woh shaadi ke venue kaa kuch problem ho gya but dad is confident ke iss meeting ke baad woh solve ho jaaega.
Manik - aur Ragini? Woh nahi aayi?
Nandini - woh uski exams aane waali hai so...
Laksh - aane waali hai....
It was quite clear he was upset with her.

Manik was standing in his room looking at the moon that's when someone hugged him from back making him smile to the fullest.
Nandini - I missed you!
Manik pulled her in front of him and hugged her tightly.
Manik - I missed you too...
He then kissed her forehead.
Manik - kal firse jaa rahi ho?
(Sad)
Nandini - hmm so all we have is today and you better make it count.
Manik - kuch din aur ruk jaao
Nandini - hum uss baare mein jb main jaaungi tab baat karenge ab please no sad talks.
And they talked all night.

In the morning
Nyonika made laksh have sweet curd for good luck and they all moved to the hospital.
While in hospital laksh saw Nandini making a video of him so he snatched the phone.
Laksh - bhabhi yaar no video
but that's when he looked at the phone and saw Ragini on the video. She had moist eyes and cheeks and nose had turned red. It was clear she wanted to be there. Laksh was angry with Ragini for the only reason that she didn't turn up when he needed her the most. She always did this to him. He gave back Nandini her phone.
Laksh - khud agar milne nahi aa sakte toh video call karke care dikhane kaa natak bhi karne ki zaroorat nahi hai.
Ragini wiped her tears and disconnected the call.
Nyonika - laksh yeh kya tareeka hai baat karne kaa?
Nandini did feel bad but manik noticed that laksh was hurt not seeing Ragini there.

Operation had begun long back.
Everyone were tensed and nervous. Nandini held Manik's hand giving him comfort which he needed the most. In India Ragini was in the temple praying for Laksh.
Her phone rang. It was Nandini.
Nandini - Raguuu..... Operation successful ho gya laksh jaldi se theek ho jaaega ab.
Everyone were damn happy they had tears of happiness in their eyes. Ragini thanked God while others went in the room laksh was shifted to. Nyonika blessed laksh.
Nyonika - mera strong bachcha..... (She kissed her forehead)
And it was a happy day.
It was night and time to leave for Nyonika, Raj and Nandini. Laksh was with his parents while MaNan were together.
Manik was holding her waist.
Manik - please don't go....
Nandini - Manik..... Please aise mere liye difficult mat karo.
Manik - thode din ruk jaao bas.
Nandini - manik you know waha Ragini ko meri zaroorat hai. The main problem is woh kissi se kuch share nahi karti and I know how broken she is.
Manik - she has been through a lot...
Nandini hugged him.
Nandini- you feel so?
Manik - hmm pehle I didn't want to accept it ke woh bhi suffer kar rahi hai but I could always see it.
Nandini - toh Manik please ek baar usse baat karlo naa. Aap dono main se ek bhi usse maaf kar dega toh uska dil thoda halka ho jaaega aur ho sakta hai woh aap se kuch share karle.
She broke the hug.
Nandini - please Manik. I am seriously very scared seeing her condition. Woh kuch bolti nahi hai pura din ghar se bahaar rehti hai and I can see her sadness in her eyes. I m just scared woh kuch ulta seedha naa karde
Manik cupped her cheek.
Manik - relaxx. She is a strong girl woh kuch ulta seedha nahi karegi and I will speak to her. Tum please itna stress mat lo.
Nandini bobbed her head.
