Douxie POV

Waking up, and walking over to the living room, I noticed no-one was up yet. Taking the opportunity, I started going down the hallways, after placing a tracking spell to the room of course. That way if I got lost I could just teleport here.

I was walking down a hallway, when I found a set of dark wood doors. Curious, I opened them to find a huge library. It kind of reminded me of the library in Beauty and the Beast. Looking around, I started understanding how and where books are placed, and found the magic section. It took awhile since almost everything wasn't in english, latin, greek, or troll.

It took a while, and a lot of books, but I finally found one that I think is interesting. Weirdly though, I found a few books in Greek about the history of the world, and I mean now history, to before I was even born history.

There were stories about so many things, like there was one about this guy name Aridam that the Arcane Order fought and captured to 'never see life again' or something like that. There were others about some people named Deidamia, Bronach and Corentin that had almost the same base story, as in they were killed after nearly destroying earth. Well Deidamia nearly did succeed by using the decaying plague spell, πανούκλα Փθορά to destory all life around her. Apparently the Oltenian Sahara was a luscious, dence, and vibrant forest. However, thankfully she was taken down and killed. Also they've surprisingly never met, however if any of them were born earlier or died later, they would have. Well if you count it by wizard standards, then it's about a century difference.

'Now that I think about it, I'm pretty young compared to wizard lifespan.'

Pushing the weird information to the side, I found a spell book called Φυτό magicae. Right away I could tell it's not just one language, so figuring out which languages took a bit, but after a while, I found out it was in Latin, Greek and Georgian. Taking the book and bringing it over to the seating area, and started looking into the book on plant magic.

'I wonder why it's in so many languages'

Looking through a few pages, I found a page and spell on quickly growing plants and how to do it correctly. The velox ზრდა spell was a complex and powerful spell that could easily cover and destroy a castle or simply grow a tree.

'The language thing makes sense now, I guess.'

Interested in learning more about the spell, I continue reading about it and a few other Books about plant, ice and fire magic.

Skrael POV

I woke up to it being around ten am. Slightly confused that neither Bell or Nari woke me up, I went to the kitchen to see if either of them were there.

I couldn't find them, and instead found a note saying that they were going to have a girls day and would come back late.

'Huh, guess it'll just be Douxie and I for a while. Is this a sort of "pay back" for stealing Nari yesterday?'

Deciding to wake up Douxie, I went to his room to see he wasn't there. Confused, I started walking around hoping to find him. I found him in the library after a few minutes of searching, which I'm thankful I even found him. He's reading a book, quietly coming closer, I see he's reading my book of ice magic called Πάγος მაგია. Being the jerk I am, I scared him by talking to him when he was fully invested into what he was reading.

"What are you doing?"

"Gah!"

'Suprise surprise, he's on the floor again.'

Rolling my eyes, I crouch down to him, stare at him for a second, then grab the book from the ground and stand back up. From the second I saw what he was reading, I flipped to the page he was on to see he was reading about how to control ice.

"You want to learn ice magic?" I ask, looking at him, while he's still on the floor.

"Yeah, I found the book, and another one about plant magic, that I wanted to try out. Though I didn't want to mess it up."

"How'd you read it?"

I help him up while asking, and he picks up the other book, probably Nari's plant magic book, and faces me.

"Well, I already know Latin and Greek fluently, and I've been learning Georgian for a while, so it was just a matter of switching through the languages."

'Huh, I really underestimated him.'

"Come on, we're going outside. I'm going to teach you ice magic."

"Wait, seriously?"

Nodding, We walked out of the library after putting up the books, and walked outside. We walked to the clearing before Douxie started talking again.

"Um, Don't you need that book to teach me the spell?" He asks, confused

"Not if I made the spell." I respond smirking

"You made that spell?!"

"Yep."

"What? But how?"

"The Ice magic book, I made it. Same goes along with the Plant magic book and Nari."

"Oh, ok. That makes sense."

Getting right into teaching him how to cast a simple ice blast ყინუღი έκρηξη, I ended up teaching him all the way till four o'clock. Douxie was getting really good, and he's really a fast learner. He might as well have mastered the first spell by the third try. Though, even with his constant enthusiasm for learning more, he was distracted.

"Douxie? Are you alright? You keep spacing out, and you're distracted."

He looks at me like he's contemplating telling me. Noticing this, I slowly started to move both of us to the lake. I had him freeze it solid before, to see how much he could do, so it wouldn't be a problem to sneakily get him on the ice. After I got him in the middle, he finally decided to tell me.

"While looking around for a book to read in the library, I stumbled upon a few history books. Most of them were about people that tried to destroy earth, but died instead. Yet, there's one about this guy, Aridam. It said he was 'captured to never see life again'. Doesn't that mean he was locked away? Did you guys kill him, or is he actually captured?"

After his short rant, I stood there frozen, blinking at him in shock. I didn't expect him to know about that, and all three of us in the Arcane made sure the only record of him was in that history book. Sighing, I look at him straight in the eye with a soft look.

"Aridam is locked up, he can't and won't get out, and yes, we didn't kill him, he should be alive."

He sighs, probably glad he could get an answer and not questioned. That's when he probably noticed that he was on the ice, since his face transformed to one of fear. Trying not to laugh, I watch him slowly try to regain balance like he had when talking to me.

"Skrael, since when were we on ice?!"

"Since you were contemplating on telling me about Αρχαία Ιστορία."

He stopped struggling for balance, well as much as he could, and looked at me with a confused face, trying not to laugh.

"That book is literally called 'Ancient History'? Wasn't it written in that 'ancient' part of history though?"

"Ugh, I know. I asked the same question when it was made. You'd think the Greeks would be smarter than that."

Stifling a laugh, Douxie falls down. He curses with that weird 'fuzzbuckets' word and starts laughing again. Rolling my eyes, I take his hands, and bring us to the edge of the lake. He starts calming down, and lays on his stomach staring at me. Huffing, I sat on my knees, on the grass, looking at him while he tilted his head.

"What now?" I ask, bored of his weirdness.

"Nothing much. Just, most of the trollhunters thought you didn't have or were insecure of your hair."

Confused for a second, then realizing what he meant, I pulled the hood of my poncho back up.

'When did that fall off?!'

Douxie got back up, onto the grass, and pulled the hood off.

"Don't do that. I like your hair, it makes you look better. I mean, jet black hair with pale blue skin, I like it."

He smiled, while pulling my shoulder length hair out from behind me, and rearranging it to fall around my face. I softly smiled at him.

'He really acts like an older brother.'

"Come on, let's go back. You said Bell and Nari won't be back until late right? So let's do something else than just practice and training."

After douxie said that, he got up and started walking to the cave/house. I yelled for him to wait up, and ran up to him, hitting him on the back of the head when I caught up, and we started walking back.

"... Do you think I should keep the hood down more often?"

He looks at me, smiling, and Nods.

"Definitely, I meant what I said. Anyway, What should we do?"

"Mmm. What about a movie?"

"Definitely! Which on-"

I didn't hear what he said before I was knocked out.

Douxie POV

"Skrael, since when were we on ice?!"

My face paling more than before.

"Since you were contemplating on telling me about Αρχαία Ιστορία."

I stopped struggling for balance, for the most part, and looked at Skrael, confused and holding back laughter.

"That book is literally called 'Ancient History'? Wasn't it made in that 'ancient' part of history though?"

"Ugh, I know. I asked the same question when it was made. You'd think the Greeks would be smarter than that."

Holding back laughter, I fell down.

"Fuzzbuckets"

Remembering what just happened, I couldn't control my laughter. Skrael starts pulling me to the edge of the lake. After he did so, I started calming down and laid on my stomach staring at Skrael. Huffing, he sat on his knees, on the grass, looking at me while I tilted my head.

"What now?" He asked in a bored tone.

'Huh, guess that discussion is over with.'

"Nothing much. Just, most of the trollhunters thought you didn't have or were insecure of your hair."

He was confused for a second, then pulled the hood of his poncho back up.

I got off of my stomach and onto the grass, and pulled the hood off.

"Don't do that. I like your hair, it makes you look better. I mean, jet black hair with pale blue skin, I like it."

I smiled, while pulling his hair out from underneath his poncho, and rearranging it to fall around his face. He softly smiled at me.

'Screw it, they're my family.'

"Come on, let's go back. You said Bell and Nari won't be back until late right? So let's do something else than just practice and training."

After I said that, I got up and started walking to the cave/house, smirking. Skrael yelled for me to wait up, and ran up to me, hitting me on the back of the head when he caught up, and we started walking back.

"... Do you think I should keep the hood down more often?"

I look over at him, smiling, and nod.

"Definitely, I meant what I said. Anyway, What should we do?"

"Mmm. What about a movie?"

"Definitely! Which one?"

"Skrael?"

I look back to see he wasn't there. I looked around, but he was nowhere in sight.

"Skrael?! Skrael where are you?!"

I didn't get another chance to yell before I fell through a portal, into the Camelot castle war room.

"Douxie! You're safe!"

I got pulled to my feet and placed into a spine-crushing hug by Krel, while everyone else on team trollhunter was around me.

"Wait, What happened.?"

"You got kidnapped, and Clair finally found you and shadow traveled you here." Jim tells me, relief clear on his face.

"Alright, I guess that part makes sense."

Dr. Lake helped me sit down after getting Krel off me, and checked if I was okay.

"Where's Skrael? I was walking with him and he disappeared before you brought me here."

"Oh, yeah, he's over there. I had misplaced the portal at first. So we knocked him out before he could do anything, well, realize what happened." Claire says pointing behind her. Confused, probably, that I would want to know.

"Douxie!" I hear someone yell, and see Archie.

"Arch, oof."

I nearly fell out of the chair, with Archie flying to me, hitting my chest in a hug, and cuddling into my lap.

"I-I missed you too Arch." I say chuckling and picking him up, into my arms.

"Douxie, when is the goddess you're so fond of?" Strickler asks me from in the corner.

"Yeah, where is Nari?" Aja asks.

"Uh-hm, yeah. Here's the thing, Nari and I don't think we should fight the Order anymore."
