Athena's pov
We start walking to the car when I hear Stefano call our names. "I am sincerely sorry for my son's actions. I can tell you it won't happen again. Santos I don't blame you for roughing him up he needs to learn how to treat women'' I respect that good he knows his son is a dick
"I respect your apology. All is good between us. I expect to have a report of your numbers on my desk by Monday" I tell him I'm not just helping him for nothing.
"Be there by tomorrow, have a great day" he walks off leaving me and Santos to go to the warehouse
"Are you mad at me?" Santo asks as we start the drive.
"Why would I be mad?"
"Because I started a fight I won't get into anymore please just don't be mad at me"
"Santos I'm not mad at you, you defend me from a dick. If anything I'm happy with you, you gave him what he deserved. Plus now you have 3 weeks of no school. I'll talk to Lucky and see what we can work out." His eyes light up and a smile forms on his face hearing the words I spoke.
I could never be mad at him for something like that. I doubt Lucky would be mad at him so what I do know is Lucky will be pissed so will everyone else but not at Santos.
I dealt with it and they should be fine. I'm not a baby who doesn't know how to defend themselves. We get to the warehouse after about 20 minutes of being on the road greeted by the guards standing in the door. "Come on we'll go through the tunnels to the hospital" I motioned for Santo to follow me as I made sure no one was behind us.
Only our most trusted guards know where the tunnels are and how to locate them. We have them guard it to make sure only people we approve come in and out.
"Enzo will probably just give you some cream for the bruises" I try to calm him down waiting for the guard to come with the golf cart.
It's meant to make it go faster than going in my car. Everything is connected. The only other place that it's not connected to is where we live now.
They started to make the tunnel but it'll take about a month to finish. "What the hell happened here?" Enzo says as we walk in "Fight to make sure he's alright?" I sit in one of the chairs.
Enzo makes Santo sit in the bed as he starts to ask him where it hurts and doesn't. My phone starts to ring and no other than Adriano pops up. "Where are you? We have a meeting in less than an hour?" He doesn't even let me speak.
Shit I need a break from today. "I'm going give me a few i'm in the hospital wing with Santo"
"Why are you there? Oh my God are you prego?"
"No you fucking dick Santo got in a fight i'll tell you later"
"Fine, tell Santo if he doesn't win i'll kick his ass" He hangs up like I said no one would be mad at Santos for it.
There's absolutely nothing for him to worry about anymore. "He's good, nothing broken, just a scratch of his cheek and of course the bruising. Put this cream on it three times a day for the next week and it'll be gone" Enzo hands him some fucking cream.
"Come on, we have to go to the warehouse now" I tell Santo as he picks up his bag. "I'll be there after I finish taking off a cast from a little kid, '' Enzo tells me as we walk out of the room.
We make our way back to the tunnels going to the warehouse. I really want to sleep or at least eat anything. I'm stomach is killing me. "Boss were here" the guard comes to a stop and we walk through the secluded doors going into my office.
"Did you win?!" Adriano says as soon as we walk in. "Really Adriano you couldn't ask if he was fine. How are you feeling Santo?" Lucky ask looking at the bruises.
"I'm fine and yes Adriano I did win" He lays on the coach throwing his bag next to him. "Why did you even get into a fight?" Angelo asks, playing with random shit on my desk.
"Fucking Idiot we're talking about how did get me in bed and Santo fought him" I think that's the best way to put it. I mean it's not like we haven't gotten into bad fights.
"Oh my god high school was only a few years ago I kind of miss it" Mia laughs I only miss our lunch period that was the only fun part.
"That huge fight senior year was crazy, the suspension was so harsh" Leo's not wrong at all it was a huge fight but worth it. "You never told me why" Lucky rolls his eyes
"Oh my he never told you" how could he never tell him!
Flashback
Alumni days are probably one of the best days of the school year. After this year we'll be alumni. Me, Leo, Mía and Adriano all sit at a table talking about anything. "Some people are just weird" Sandro sits down with Angelo, Agosto and Enzo behind him.
"I'm just glad I don't have to wear that uniform anymore" yeah Enzo some of us are not smart enough to graduate at 15. "Yeah that's better than having a freshman call you a dilf" The face Angelo has is priceless.
"Where's your boyfriend?" Enzo takes my fries and starts eating them. Yeah cause I was totally done with them. "He stood home, he's sick, I'm going to his place after school" I'll bring Marco some medicine, probably stay the night I don't know yet.
"Awe Athena to the rescue" Leo throws a fist in the air like some little kids show. "Shut it fuck boy" He'll sleep with any girl that lets him.
Adriano and Mia are in their own conversation completely blinded by their love for each other. Love birds, they'll end up together in the long run. "Alessandro do you think you could help me with this assignment'' one of the barbies ask him touching his arm
"One don't touch me second go ask your teacher I'm not a tutor" he pushes her off him and I laugh at his actions. "Shut it bitch I wasn't talking to you" she gets bold coming at me
"Listen Barbie go back to your whores I think they're looking for you." Mia defends me as on cue her little minions come behind her awe that's so cute.
"Babe what's going on" oh wow now the boyfriend is here too "listen your girl is throwing herself at me this is a new suit now I have to burn it. Take her away" Sandro tells him as he tries to look all big and bold.
Sandro stands up and he looks scared just for a second at how big Sandro is. Now his little minions are behind him too. This is amazing.
"Can Barbie and ken please go find their way to the other side of the lunch room please and thank you" I just want to be with Marco and sleep. She takes her water, pouring it on my head.
In the blink of an eye I start swinging at her as her minions jump in trying to help her.
At this point me and Mia are fighting against Barbie and her minions and Ken and his little crew are fighting Sandro, Angelo, Leo, Agosto and Enzo.
Barbie's extensions fall out and she starts to cry. Soon enough security guards start running in separating all of us.
Just great. We all get put in the principal's office with most of us still handcuffed.
At the end everyone but Barbie, Ken and her minions got suspended for a month and a half. Well everyone who went to school.
More time for me to train ha Lucky me.
Flashback over
"No fucking way" Santo burst of laughing. I never knew what happened to Barbie and Ken after that but I could care less. "Yeah but we all ended up training," I say, drinking my water.
It's one of the only things I can stomach. "You still aren't feeling good?" Lucky ask as I spit out a muffin I ate.
It tastes disgusting. "I feel better the muffin was probably expired" He gives me a weird look before shrugging it off.
We go into the meeting room as many of the allies are already seated. I let Santo sleep on the couch in my office as he was already half asleep when we were leaving.
"Spit it out what's happening" I say sitting at the end of the table as they start letting me in on issues, possible attacks and new alliances. "Boss Roberto has requested a meeting no one has confirmed nor denied it yet waiting for your approval and time slot" Hmm I would love to put him in his place.
"Tell him to be in my office today not a minute later than 3" It gives me 2 hours to walk around and make sure everything is where it's supposed to be. Santo can not be here when his sperm donor comes.
I will not allow it at all. Last thing I need is Santo freaking out or thinking he's going back to that horrible place. "Boss the 4 people here are here to build alliance"
"One by one tell me why I should bother '' This shit is not a joke, one alliance gets fucked you have to pick between a side. One wrong move and everything could be wiped out.
"I want the best for me and my men. I hear the stories about you and your brothers and Mr.Morellis mafia. I wouldn't want to be against it so I would like to form and alliance to further myself"
"I think it is a great chance to help build your army. You three hold the top three biggest mafia and it's only getting stronger. People will become jealous of power but we stay loyal to always help with anything"
"Loyalty is the most important thing. I've been betrayed before but with you guys I know I won't"
"I have information and leads on the inside from roberto. He's planning something that I'm not sure about yet. You three are unstoppable I need to make sure my people are protected"
All very respectable. I look at my brother and Lucky for approval and they give me the nod. "25% will be taken out of anything you make and distributed between us as we are the ones helping you. All paperwork is to be sent to the I.T department by Monday. One wrong move and your head is on a silver platter. Everyone get the fuck out but you" I point to the one who says he has information on reberto.
I need everything I can get at this point. "Tell me everything you have on Reberto right now" I spit out as he pulls out a file and hands it to me.
"He's stolen 3 of my shipments already. I sent one of my men in and once he got the word of an attack was killed on the spot. He wants power and is stealing from many people. Many are angry" This is useful but worries me.
"Get more men in there I need weekly reports on what's going on in there. I need to make sure whatever he's planning I have the upper hand in." He nods in understatement leaving the meeting room.
Shit just got so much more complicated
