( Lorelai POV )
We pulled up to the house and it was slowly getting dark.
" Thank you for this dad " I said giving him a smile and got out the car.
I walked in the house to be greeted with silence- shocker.
He told me about the mafia ball and I just decided to go since I had nothing better to do.
I walked upstairs to my room and quickly closed the door before pulling out my phone.
I dialed Ethan's number, Vanessa's number and Sydney's so it could be a Group FaceTime.
They don't know each other and that's what the point of this call is.
Their faces popped up and they looked confused.
Is it weird that they all answered at the same time.
— Convo Start & it's not rocket science to tell who's who.. —
L: So i know you guys don't know each other but I'll introduce you. Okay so he is Nalaya's dad- Ethan and kind of a friend.
E: kind of?? bet..
L: Then she is an old friend of mine who I just reunited with in Dubai- Sydney.
S: Sup
L: and she is Vanessa- we go back a few years.
V: better let em know!
L: yeah.. so I know you're probably all wondering why I called.
V: yup
S: mhm
L: i need to talk to you all in person
E: when?
L: in 2 days..
V: about?
L: I can't talk about it on the phone
S: okay, well I'll try to see if I can catch a flight out there.
E: just text the time and place
L: thank you, now I gotta go!

I walked out of my room into the girls room and they were playing with their toys.
They ended up getting their shared room a few weeks ago.
" Ahem " I cleared my throat and they looked up at me.
" Mommy play with us! " Tahani said and i walked over there and sat down.
" what are you two playing? "
" dolls! " she said handing me a doll.
" what happened to her hair..? " I asked horrified.
" I do it like you mommy! "
" honey you tried " I said sarcastically.
I made the doll look like it was dancing and Tahani copied it.
" monkey see monkey do " I said jokingly.
" I love you mommy " Tahani said hugging me and I hugged her back tightly.
She held onto me for a few more seconds and let go.
" mommy no cry! " she said kissing my forehead- well tried to.
I looked at her confused and wiped my eyes.
Didn't even know I was crying.
I picked Nalaya up with the other arm and had Tahani in the other.
" I love you both.. " I said kissing all over their face.

" Hey we're gonna watch a movie and eat pizza so... come on " Oliver said and i quickly got up.
I picked up the girls and walked downstairs following Oliver.
" wait didn't we have pizza earlier? " I asked him.
" yup "
I groaned and we walked towards the movie theater.

" What are we gonna watch? " I asked as dad turned the lights off.
We had our pizza and drinks so all we needed was a movie.
I sat on the floor with the girls, mom and dad were cuddled on the couch thing, Oliver was on the huge bean bag and Emilio and Elias were on chairs.
" you pick " he said and I thought about it.
" Old guard I guess.. " I said and he nodded.
He put on the movie and I started feeding the girls.

The next morning:
I slowly opened my eyes and tried to get up but there was a arm over my stomach.
I looked around and saw it was Oliver.
Tahani was hanging off the beanbag and Nalaya was on top of Oliver.
How..
The..
You know what- ill save my energy.
I moved his arm off me and he moved a quick second but stopped.
I grabbed Nalaya off him and then grabbed Tahani who was damn near about to fall off.
I balanced them both on my hip and left the movie theater and headed to their room.

I gently laid them in their beds and patted their backs before putting their blankets on them.
I silently left and went back to the movie theater.
Everybody was down there still sleeping so I grabbed a few blankets and put it on them.
After that i went to the kitchen and got started on breakfast.
Today it's bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, French toast with fruit and of course eggs.

Once I finished cooking I put it in the stove to sit then I fixed me a plate and took it upstairs.
Before I started eating I went to find me a Netflix show..
Does anybody else do that?
Wait until you find a show to eat? although sometimes I eat while tryna find a show .
Anyway-
I put on the madea's funeral movie and started eating.
Madea aka Tyler Perry is chefs kiss seriously.
( Third person @ the other house )
Noel walked in the living room and saw that the two girls were cuddling together in silence.
" alright what's with you two? " he asked getting their attention.
" what do you mean? " Aurora asked confused.
" oh don't play dumb.. every since lorelai left you two have been- i don't know what " he said eating a pineapple.
" nothing " Aurora said and Noel didn't believe her but he let it go.
" They're having a gala or ball- whatever you wanna call it but it's in a week and we're all invited " he said seriously.
" Does she want us there? " Natalie asked.
" duh! why wouldn't she- " he got cut off by his phone going off.
N: heyyy- we were just talking about you.
L: Aww so sweet- but I need to talk to you.
N: just me?
Aurora and Natalie were listening to the conversation and by then they were looking at him.
L: yeah.
N: what about Aurora? she-
L: damn it! Noel just you.. please
She said and before he could respond she hung up.
" Are you three mad at each other or something? " Noel asked and they shook their head no.
Then he got a text.
Lorelai:
Tomorrow.. in person- and I'll send the location.
He looked at it quickly and put his phone away.
" Are you guys coming to the gala or what? " he asked them in a slightly annoyed tone.
" Fine.. we'll go " Aurora said and he nodded before walking off.
