"Chrissss." Carrie stated on the last day as we were all leaving and I looked at Carrie whom was sitting at the staircase. She would leave an hour later than we were leaving because of flight times or something like that. I put my bag down and I walked up to her, she jumped up right away and hugged me very tightly. "I miss you." She sighed dramatically and I giggled as I rubbed her back and pulled her up a bit, holding her with one arm, the other one by her back.
"We'll be all right. We'll still call as much as we did." I promised her and she nodded looking at me as she gave me a quick peck and then hugged me again and I giggled at that a bit before I put her down. I then signed to her 'I love you' and she did the same thing back with a huge smile on her face as I drove away.
For the rest of the flight we talked about the past week, the hookups and their opinions of my siblings. I wasn't really listening to what they were saying, or rather I wasn't paying attention. I was looking out the window of the airplane looking at the world slowly going asleep, my mind with Ana at the moment. I couldn't help but think about how she was at the moment and what she was thinking.
"O my god." Zara said and I turned my head as that was a serious 'omygod' which amused me but also worried me a tad. "Bella is performing at the VMA's in two months." She said and everyones eyes widened and for the next hour they talked about whom Bella could be and stuff.
"You ok?" Erica signed, me seeing it in the corner of my eyes.
"I miss Ana that's all." I signed back as I kept looking out the window and she put her hand on my leg and I grabbed it.
"Everyone grab your planners. Now." Zara said and I frowned as I looked at her and she gave me this look of 'you better do it or I'm going to kill you in your sleep'. I grabbed my phone and looked at her. "Look if you have your intern duty on the 21st of June?" She asked and I realised that that was when the VMA's were.
"I do. Fuck." Fred sighed and I saw that I didn't have anything that weekend. I waited for everyone to state it; but everyone apart from Zara and I had to do internships at that time.
"Do you want to be my date to the VMA's?" Zara asked with a huge smile on her face and I stared back at her and I couldn't help but giggle.
"Will your family be there?"
"Will my family be at the honouring of Geografica, as my uncle Bob Davids, the last remaining Geografica member, died two months ago?" She said and I gave her a look and nodded. "Please? I promise my family won't act weird."
"Fine." I said and she nodded excited looking at me as she texted her mum asking for two tickets. I stared at Erica whom looked at me with a huge smile and I giggled.
"When is your birthday again Chris?" Fred asked.
"20th of June. Wait, are the VMA's in LA?" I asked and Zara stared at me and nodded and the biggest smile appeared on my face. "Can we go on the 19th then? I want to surprise Carrie?"
"Sure." She said and I couldn't help but have a huge smile on my face. "Maybe Carrie can join us too? If she wants?" She offered and I looked at her for a second and I then shook my head. "Why not?"
"Private remember. I'm already a large ass clue." I said pointing to my face. "Add Carrie to the mix and yeah."
"O yeah. Of course." She said and I giggled looking at her as we then talked about everything and nothing. When we landed we got in the large car that was waiting for us and I drove towards our dorms. "I was thinking." Zara said as we were almost home. "Next year, we should get an apartment with the six of us, or a house or whatever?" She said and that resulted into everyone reacting excited by the idea. I was quiet though, cause I had to drive. "Chris?" Zara added. I looked at her through the mirror.
"I'd have to ask papa." I said and just at that moment my phone went and I connected it to bluetooth. "Hey Papa. You're on bluetooth with my whole friend group." I said casually as my friends that weren't Erica were all staring at the phone in shock.
"O, Hello everyone." Papa said and I smiled very widely. "You can move in with your friends if you want. We actually have a house close to the campus and close to the hospital. It has five bedrooms, and then a smaller bedroom attached to one bedroom." He said and Yara smiled amused at that as she looked at Edison and Edison nodded. "It is gated though cause of security and in October we are coming over probably along with your mother and we will need that house, so for one week you'd have to get Hotels, but I'll pay for it. It's free of charge for you and your friends?" Papa said and I smiled slightly at that. "I also got you a private plane ready for the trip to LA for your birthday and the VMA's along with incognito security."
"It's that I know that you track us." Erica said blowing out some air and the four others stared at Erica in total and utter shock, but Papa laughed at her comment.
"Sounds great dad. You're the best." I said with a huge smile. "Can you casually make sure that Carrie is home for our birthday then?"
"Of course." He replied. "Did you have fun with your brothers and sisters?"
"Yes. It was great." I said as I turned to the right. "Really great. What are you up to?"
"Nothing much. In B3 right now." Papa said and I nodded. "Your mother just left to go annoy your dad for a week."
"Ahh nice!" I said with a huge smile and he giggled slightly at that. "Are they going anywhere or?"
"Yes. We've been married for 31 years so your mother demands that we each go away with her for a week. It starts with dad, then father, I'm last. Of course." He sighed dramatically and I burst out into laughter at that, my friends staring at that in shock. Erica gave me a certain look and mouthed Hugo.
"Where are mum and dad going? And mum and father?" I said trying to say it as casually as possible and papa laughed at that.
"Mum and dad are going where they had their first official private date so to speak. In the jungles remember? I believe you went there with Erica?"
"O yeah. Yeah that's a great place." I confirmed and I looked at the time, only having about ten minutes before we were home. "What about father and mum?"
"I'm not sure." Papa said in a tone that made me realise that they weren't actually going to go anywhere.
"What are you and mum going to do?" I asked. "I mean- where are you going? I don't want to know what you two are going to do?"
"Uhm. I'm taking her to the island about an hour away from here. Your mother loves it there so yeah." He said and I nodded slowly. "And I won't divulge what your mother and I are going to do to you and your friends."
"Thank you for that papa. I'm going to hang up, I'm driving and I got to pay attention. Can you send me the details and the address of the house? And the keys?"
"You don't need keys. There's 24/7 security there, if you drive by, I've informed them already. It also has everything in there, so you guys don't have to buy any shit." Papa said and he said the address. I gave everyone a look and they nodded. "You guys going there now?"
"Yeah. I love you papa. You're the best."
"Thanks son. I love you."
"I love you too." I said hanging up and everyone was silent for a bit before they started to squeal and I laughed at that a bit. We arrived at the house and it was indeed in a perfect spot. The gates opened and I looked at the house and the biggest smile appeared on my face as I looked at my friends whom stared at it excitedly. We then looked through the house a bit.
"I think it's fairest if we take this room." Yara said and I looked at her and nodded. "It's the largest but the two of us will share this?" She offered.
"That's great with me." I confirmed and Fred and I then let Zara and Erica choose a room and they chose a room and I smiled as I gave Fred this look.
"Are you serious?" He asked and I nodded looking at him as he then chose a room. I ended up with the smallest.
"But I get the smaller room as well." I added to everyone and they nodded at that as I smiled very widely as we went to the yard and there was a pool and they all squeezed. I giggled at that as I looked at my five friends.
I was building a future with these five friends, even if I knew that I probably couldn't have an actual future with the majority of them.
But for now, it was the best that could happen to me.
I didn't know then that this was the the light before the dark. I didn't know then that I would never live in this house. I didn't know then, that in a few short weeks my whole life would be turned upside down.

One of the most funny moments in my mind happened in this chapter. Who can guess which part that was?
