Kiko's POV:
The Day was well spent with the Sano family. Emma and Manjiro kun kept on asking me if I like someone or if I'm interested in someone. I can't tell them if I like someone or not... I mean I don't want anyone to know how I feel until I'm sure about my feelings. After dinner, Me, Emma, Manjiro kun, Izana nisan and Shinichiro nisan- we all sat in the living room. I glanced at the clock... It's almost 7 pm.
I nudge Emma, "Emma I think I'll leave now. It's almost 7.....I'm really grateful that you guys invited me!"
Before Emma could say anything, Manjiro Kun spoke, "Stay a little longer. I'll drop you home."
"Yeah! Manjiro is right. Moreover you should visit us more Kiko Chan." Shinichiro nisan added.
"Ok... I'll surely visit you guys whenever I get time." I smile.
"Ofcourse! And that time surely will arrive after a century, right?" Izana nisan sarcastically said.
I pouted," I will visit. I promise."
"We will see to it... Little devil." Izana nisan pinched my cheeks and we all laugh.
"Ne Kiko chin.... So....that crush of yours... Who is it?" Manjiro Kun mischievously spoke.
The older two Sano's look at me.
"You like someone little devil?" Iza nisan enquired.
"Honestly! No... I don't think I'm interested in anyone but Emma and Manjiro kun is assuming I have someone I like!"
I let out a sigh.
Shinichiro nisan looked at me and said, "If Kiko Chan says she doesn't like anyone, then I think either she is telling the truth or is oblivious to her own feelings!"
"Ooooooooo" Emma and Manjiro kun sang in unison.
Manjiro kun was about to open his mouth when my phone rang. A call from an unknown number.
"Moshi! moshi! Who's this?" I speak.
"Mochi Mochi! Is this Miss Akabane I'm talking to? Akabane Karma's sister?" The lady of the other side of the phone speak.
"Yes! Who are you? And Is everything alright." I speak. My guts are twisting. I don't feel good!
"I'm from "xxx" hospital in Yokohama. Your brother is currently admitted here. He was hit by a car while trying to save someone." The lady spoke.
My head started spinning. Is someone pranking me. Onni-sama... He can't be!
"Hello! Miss Akabane... Are you there?" I couldn't speak anymore. Words were lost. The world is spinning and then everything went dark...

"Kiko... Kiko.... Wake up" I felt cool water touch my skin and hear someone calling out my name. I lazily try to open my eyes and soon blinded by sharp light. Few moments later, after adjusting to the light, I see Emma looking at me with concern.
"Kiko chin.. are you ok?" Manjiro kun was looking at me with worry.
"Soon... I realized I was at the Sano Residence when.... My heart sinks... Panic starts to rise in my body. I feel nauseating. Onni-san... He's in a hospital. How is he!? Is he alright. I need to go...!
"Emma.....onni-san..." My voice started to hitch. Tears are threatening to fall.
"We know... Shinichiro nisan talked with the lady after you fainted.
"Emma I want to see him. I need to go." I state with pure panic.
"Wait, we will go with you too. We're not letting you go alone!" Shinichiro nisan said.
"I want to leave now! Onni-san... I want to see him." I try to contain my sobbing.
Izana nisan hugs me tightly and speak... "Everything will be alright. We're here. Karma san Will be alright. Trust me. "
I start crying hysterically with iza nisan's hugging me and running his hand through my hair in an attempt to calm me down.
"Oii Mikey. We're here. Let's go!" He hear a new voice. It's Draken. He's followed by Baji, Chifuyu, Kazutora kun, Mitsuya Kun, Takemichi Kun.
"Why are you guys here?" Emma speak.
"Mikey called. Saying it's an emergency and that we all will be traveling to Yokohama." Mitsuya spoke.
"Yeah! Kiko's brother is admitted in a hospital in Yokohama... I called you guys because with more people it will be safer! Now let's leave for Yokohama. A train ride will take an hour but if we take our bikes, we can reach in less than 30 minutes" Manjiro kun spoke with an extreme serious tone...
With that we all prepare to leave for Yokohama.
Iza nisan was still holding me. I subconsciously looked at Baji. He was looking at me with an unreadable face. But I caught a hint of sadness in his eyes.
When we connected our eyes, Baji come close to me.
He looked at me for a few seconds and then he engulfed me in a hug! I was taken aback. But I was feeling a strange wave of calm energy wash over my body.
We didn't speak...we just hugged.
Baji asked me to ride with him..
Third person POV:
Kiko was holding onto Baji's waist tightly. Mikey rode the bike with Takemichi and Emma with Izana.
Chifuyu ride with Kazutora. Draken, Shinichiro and Mitsuya rode their bikes alone.
Kiko was sniffling and holding back her tears. After around half an hour, they reached the destined hospital.
When they reached the hospital, Kiko's aura suddenly changed. Her teary expression blanked!
She rushed to the reciptionist and asked her in a cold tone.
"Where my aniki?" Her cold tone sent shivers down the spine of whoever heard her! The reciptionist was trembling.
"Ma'am, we will need the name first."
Kiko's eyes were bloodshot due to crying but those were empty. Her emotionless face and her speaking tone was low yet extremely intimidating!
Shinichiro walked towards them and gave the reciptionist the name.
"Akabane Karma"
"Oh! Wait! He's in room number 365 in the 2nd floor."
Moments later, Kiko and the others were standing in front of karma's hospital room.
Kiko slowly opened the door and entered the room. She was followed by the others as well.
There the former assassin was sleeping on the bed. His head and arms bandaged. The doctor told them that he was in temporary coma and that he will take up soon.
Kiko, let out a light laugh. A deadly one. One that can scare the shit out of anyone. She spoke in a quieter tone.
"My existence mean nothing to you right? My damn existence! All these months, I was craving to see you nisan! And this is how you meet me after all these months! You're cruel onni-san! I hate you with all my life Akabane Karma!
I... I....but....but who am I fooling? I cannot hate you! I cannot loose you. Why the fuck are you so quiet! Wake up please! " With that Kiko broke into hysterical sobbing again.
With that she runs out of the room and out of the hospital.
Everyone called out to Kiko, but she didn't look back. She kept running. Baji ran after her. He was able to catch up to her as she tripped in the parking lot and fell down. He crouched down to her and engulfed her in a hug. She hugged him back and continued sobbing.
"Oii don't run like this. Your aniki will be fine. The doctor reassured that everything is ok with him. He will wake up very soon."
Kiko looked into Baji's eyes.
"Gomen!... Gomen! Baji... " She continued to cry.
Baji only held her and help her walk towards the hospital.
Once there, Baji asked a nurse and helped her clean the wounds. They then went towards Karma's room.
Everyone was waiting outside Karma's room. They had worried expression on their face. Kiko felt guilty.
She bowed in front of them. "Gomenesai! Mina San! I'm really sorry for my behavior... Please forgive me."
"It's fine! I...we understand Kiko!" Emma hugged Kiko and Pat her back. Kiko weakly smile at them and enter karma's room.
"Gomen nisan! Please wake up soon" Those were the only words that came out of her mouth. Kiko felt bad about her behavior after all the trouble everyone went through for her. She called Nagisa and told him what happened. Nagisa was quiet for a few moments. But he calmed himself and spoke, "I'll be... there as soon as possible."
Kiko found on internet a decent hotel near the hospital for everyone to stay the night and booked them rooms.
She went out if the room and asked everyone to go and take rest. No one wanted to leave but her insistence made them let go. The only person to stay behind was Baji. She only let him stay when he promised to her that he will stay just a little longer.

Baji sat on the couch inside the hospital room while Kiko sat beside karma's bed.
Soon, both of them drifted off to sleep.
At around 6 in the morning...A loud groan woke Kiko up! "Nisan.... " Hearing Kiko shout Baji woke up. He noticed that Karma was waking up.
So, he rushed outside to call for a doctor.
Moments later the doctor came in and asked Kiko and Baji to wait outside. After sometime, the doctor came outside and told them that everything is alright and that they can see him now.
Kiko went inside followed by Baji.
She instantly jumped into karma's arms and cried.
"Sorry for worrying you lil one!" Karma spoke as he looked at her tenderly.
He then look at the raven haired boy standing near the door.
"You are...? Karma enquire.
"Sir... I'm Baji Keisuke... I'm Kiko's classmate and her friend." Baji bow to him.
"Thanks for taking care of my sister!" Karma speak.
"It's no problem sir! She's my friend after all... " He smiled.
"Kiko, stop crying now... I'm fine see... Hey!! Lil one.. calm down. I'm really sorry!" With that Karma tightly hug Kiko and Pat her back!
Soon after, Mikey, Izana, Emma and all the others came to the hospital. Shinichiro smiled at Karma. "Good to see you awake, Karma kun."
"Neh! Shinichiro Kun! I'm not that fragile. The world won't get rid of me anytime soon!" Karma smiled. His mischievous grin plastered on his face.
"Kiko chin! Baji! Go and freshen up... We brought food...you guys must be hungry!" Mikey spoke. Kiko smiled and nodded and so did Baji.
"Neh! Karma... You sure know how to scare people!" A new voice came in.
"Hey! Nagisa... Did I scare you too?" A grin plastered on his face.
"I...I.... don't scare easily!" Nagisa irked!
They continued teasing each other..
Everyone laughed at the two best friends.
Soon, everyone left for Shibuya as Kiko forced them to go home. Apprantly, she didn't want to trouble them. Nagisa left too because Kiko insisted he do not miss on school!
Even after, someone or the other, especially the Sano Siblings and Baji regularly visited Karma and Kiko.
After 1 week:
After a week, Karma was finally released.
"Kiko I've taken a week off from work. I'll be staying with you for a few days. I promised that I'll make up for the time I lost with you!" Karma spoke.
"Really? Arigatou nisan... I love you so much!" Kiko's eyes glitters. Mikey and Baji came to the hospital to take the Akabane siblings to Shibuya.
"Manjiro kun... You can take Kiko... I'll go with Baji Kun... I want to talk to him about something." Karma spoke.
Kiko and Baji looked at each other. They were a bit confused about what he wanted to talk.
But they agreed to him.
Karma's POV:
After Kiko left with Manjiro Kun... I hop behind Baji. And decide to ask him the question that's bugging me..
"Baji Kun... "
"You can call me Keisuke sir!"
"Ok! Keisuke Kun... So... What do you think about my sister!"
I can feel Keisuke go stiff... But he answered with honestly in his voice.
"I consider her my Friend. She's like my comfort zone. I am not sure what the feeling is...but I want to protect her... At all cost!"
"Do you perhaps have feelings for her. Do you like her?"
I can see his ears turning pink!
"I'm not sure sir... I am asking the same question myself everyday. But if I happen to figure out feelings... I'll be honest with her!"
I smiled, "Make sure you don't hurt her! I want her to find happiness..."
I remember him...
Koro Sensei...Do you think this kid will be able to fill the empty void in Kiko?
