IT HAD BEEN ALMOST A WEEK since Luna and Santana's make-out filled sleepover, and Luna had been in a weird haze ever since. Though not necessarily in a bad way.

Much to Luna's relief and slight surprise, the two girls hadn't found any of their interactions to be awkward in the aftermath of their night of passion. In fact, it was almost the opposite. The two were now more comfortable and closer to each other than before.

Even before Luna had left the Lopez household the morning after, she had stood at the bedroom door, ready to give the Latina a quick hug and rush out, thinking that would be quick and efficient enough for Santana, who Luna had assumed wouldn't want to talk about any of it. But, much to the Italian girl's surprise, the tanned brunette had opted to lean in and peck her lips briefly before she departed.

Now, what all this meant, Luna had no idea. I mean sure, the two teens often found themselves sneaking into unoccupied classrooms before classes, and if they ever had free periods at the same time. But there seemed to be a sort of unspoken agreement between them both, which meant neither of them really questioned why they were having these clandestine meetings.

But there was one thing that Luna Moretti did know about this whole situation, and it had come to light the day after the sleepover.

She was not straight.

Now, to some, this may have come as a surprise. She highly suspected that if she were to tell this to anyone in the New Directions, they would simply shrug and say: "glad you finally realised,". Maybe it was because she had only really had feelings for boys, and older, unattainable men, but this sudden revelation about her sexuality did take her aback slightly.

Nevertheless, Luna knew that her newfound sexuality (which she didn't exactly know how to label yet? Was she bi?) was nothing to be ashamed of. Especially not with her close circle of family and friends being as supportive to her as they always were.

Speaking of supportive friends, that's exactly who Luna's eyes landed on as she made her way down the halls of McKinley High. She was aiming to get to her locker, but when she locked eyes with Kurt, who was standing in between his father, Burt, and Finn's mother, Carole, she couldn't help but stop in her tracks.

Her baby-faced friend looked over-the-moon at whatever the four of them, Finn included, seemed to be discussing. The Hummel boy looked over and saw Luna, quickly waving her over to join them.

"Lulu!" He exclaimed with a large grin. "Come here!"

So, she did as she was told, quickly walking over to where the two parents, and Kurt and Finn were standing at Finn's locker.

"Hey, guys." She greeted them all warmly.

Carole sent her a smile, reaching out to rub the Italian girl's arm affectionately. Burt sent her a wide, happy grin, and Finn's smile was a friendly one, though it didn't quite meet his eyes.

"Hi, sweetie." Finn's mom responded.

As Carole went to pull her hand away from Luna's arm, the Moretti girl happened to glance down, her eyes immediately being drawn to a glistening, diamond ring on the older woman's ring finger.

Luna let out an involuntary gasp and grabbed Carole's left hand, her mouth opening in shock as she looked to Carole, then to Burt, both of whom nodded excitedly back at her. She then glanced at Kurt for confirmation, and her friend let out a high-pitched squeal as he nodded in confirmation.

"Oh my god!" Luna let out, placing the hand that wasn't still holding onto Carole's, over her heart. "You proposed, Burt?"

The oldest Hummel nodded once again, a proud look on his face. "Yep!" He confirmed. "I snuck us into the classroom that Kurt first introduced us in and asked her to marry me."

"Aw," Luna gushed, letting go of Carole's hand and putting both hands over her heart now. "That's the cutest thing ever. I'm so happy for you guys!"

Carole's grin remained ever present on her face as she looked between the three teenagers that were standing around her.

"I'm so excited!" She told them. "And nervous."

"Oh, don't be! Don't be!" Kurt reassured her, clasping his hands together in excitement. "This is just what I needed! I will take care of it from here. I have a trunk full of wedding magazines hidden under my bed." He told everyone.

This fact did not surprise Luna one bit as she let a smile cover her features as she watched how excited Kurt was getting. She also let her gaze wander over to Finn, and raised an eyebrow at his less-than-enthusiastic reaction to his own mother's engagement.

Why was he being so broody today? Luna couldn't help but wonder to herself as she turned back towards Kurt and the two adults.

Kurt then turned and faced Luna, an urgent expression on his face as he did so. "Lulu, I'm going to require your assistance." He said in a serious tone.

Luna pointed mutely at herself. "My assistance?" She asked him.

He nodded. "Yep. You have to help me with the planning." He demanded, putting his hand on her forearm. "Please, I've seen the decor of your bedroom at the Fabray's, and you always wear immaculate outfits." He complimented her, causing Luna to smirk. "And you're probably one of the most level-headed and organised people I know."

Kurt finally stopped gushing and took a deep breath. "Plus you're a Virgo, and I just love Virgos."

Luna let out a giggle at his last reason, tilting her head to the side. "Fair enough." She said,

looking over to Burt and Carole, Luna shrugged and smiled at them. "I'd love to help plan the wedding, if it was okay with you guys?"

They both smiled at her, Carole looking like she was close to tears at the offer. "Oh, sweetie, that would be great."

"Yeah," Burt nodded in agreement. "We'd really appreciate that, Luna."

Luna then nodded, looking over to Kurt excitedly and grinning. "Then I'm in!"

Kurt let out another excited noise, before continuing to ramble. "I'm thinking of a russet and cognac theme." He told them all, before looking at Finn and explaining further. "Those are colors, Finn. Fall wedding colors, autumnal."

Bless Finn's soul, though, as he still looked mightily confused by everything that was being said to him. Luna merely sent him a reassuring look, and patted his shoulder in an attempt to show some moral support. Though the difference between her and Finn being that she actually knew what the words russet and cognac meant when Kurt had first said them.

"Nothing too extravagant, Kurt, okay?" Burt interrupted his son. "We're gonna use whatever savings we have. We're spending it on the honeymoon!" He then told them.

Carole's contorted into one of excitement and then pure disbelief as she heard her fiance say these words.

Burt smiled at this reaction. "That's right. We're going to Waikiki!" He told her.

Luna raised her brows in surprise, looking over to Kurt, who looked ecstatic at this announcement. The Moretti girl didn't really know where this Waikiki place was, but Kurt and Carole seemed excited about it, so that was the main thing.

"We're gonna go to the hotel where they put up the guest stars on Lost."

Luna pointed over to Burt and nodded enthusiastically. "That's a hell of a good show." She expressed, and Kurt's dad nodded in agreement.

Carole Hudson then turned to look over to her son, face falling slightly. "Finn, you-you haven't said anything."

Luna then turned and looked awkwardly over at the tall Quarterback.

"Uh, I'm. . . I guess I'm just kind of stunned." The Hudson boy stammered somewhat nervously.

Luna understood where he was coming from. It must have been a lot of information to process so suddenly, especially in the school hallways. Plus she remembered how not well Finn took the initial news of his mom dating Kurt's dad the previous school year.

"Hey, don't worry. I'm already looking for a bigger house. One where everybody's gonna get their own rooms. All right?" Burt attempted to reassure the Quarterback, and this did cause a small grin to grow on Finn's face.

"Come on, honey." Carole pleaded with her son. "Be happy for me."

Luna felt her heart swell at her words, her eyes softening as she watched the vulnerable expression take over the Hudson woman's face.

These words also seemed to pierce Finn's heart, as he nodded sheepishly. "I am, mom." He told her sincerely.

Luna smiled softly at this, before turning back to face Burt when he began talking.

"All right, now listen, Kurt, Luna, Wedding Planners, I want you to take care of one thing." He instructed them. "I don't care about the food or the booze at this party, but I want one heck of a band."

Even Finn couldn't help but smile at Burt's words.

"I've been eating right, I've been exercising. And I want to boogie with Carole at this wedding." Burt then did a little dance to enunciate his point. "And I will boogie."

Luna and Kurt both shared a look at these words, before nodding at one another in confirmation as the same idea seemed to pop into their heads.

"All right, it's already taken care of, Dad." He told Burt, clasping his hands together in excitement. "We are going to hire the New Directions as your band."

Kurt then looked over to Finn, who nodded, and then to Luna who smiled back at him. "Right? It won't cost you a cent. They're cheap, they're available." He listed off all the reasons why the glee club was perfect for the wedding entertainment. "Long story short. . ." He trailed off.

"You're having a glee wedding!" Luna exclaimed as she let out a squeal of excitement. "Yay!"

*:・゚*:・゚

The next day, Luna was walking down the school hallways with Amelia's arm looped through her own.

The Italian girl was pretty tired, having spent most of the night before on Skype with Kurt, the two of them having jumped right into planning Burt and Carole's wedding. They had already decided the colour scheme, and had chosen the first song for the New Directions to sing. It wasn't until about 1AM that they both had decided to finally get some sleep, and they were definitely paying for it this morning.

"So, we're gonna sing Marry You by Bruno Mars?" Amelia wondered, casting a look over to Luna as they approached the younger girl's locker. "Isn't that kinda on the nose?" She joked.

Luna let out a laugh as she watched Amelia open her locker, and then shrugged. "I mean, probably." The Moretti girl conceded. "But, we're also a bunch of kids from a high school glee club, performing at a wedding, so. . . on the nose is kinda our thing."

Lia seemed to ponder Luna's words for a few moments before nodding. "That's a very good point."

"I make many of those." Luna told her friend.

The two girls were then approached by the third member of their Angelic Trio, and Luna smiled as Quinn approached the two of them.

The blonde Cheerio looked somewhat out of breath, and this caused Amelia to look at the Fabray girl with concern etched across her features.

"Q, you okay?" She wondered.

Luna saw the younger brunette's hand twitch, as though she wanted to reach across and place it on Quinn's hand, or arm. But with a sharp inhale, Lia's hand remained on the door of her locker.

"Uh, I don't know." Quinn's usually soft voice was filled with urgency, and Luna frowned. "Sam just tried to give a promise ring."

Luna's eyebrows shot up into her hair, and she opened her mouth to form a response. But Amelia beat her to it.

"What?" The Abrams girl's voice came out harsh, and Luna winced slightly. "Why? I thought that was for people who were dating?"

Lia's face was etched with confusion, and annoyance. The worry from before seemed to have dissipated and was now replaced with the aforementioned emotions. Quinn's budding relationship with Sam was one that was still a sore subject for her. Luna tried not to bring it up whenever they hung out, her mind always going back to the night that her friend had admitted her feelings for Quinn.

She hadn't asked Amelia about it since, assuming that if she wanted to speak about it, the Abrams girl would bring it up herself. Though she couldn't lie to herself, Luna wanted nothing more than to just pester her best friend with questions about when she realised she liked Quinn? Has she always liked girls? How did she know that she liked Quinn?

The blonde girl also seemed taken aback by Amelia's harsh tone. "Uh, I don't know why he wants to give me one. . ." She trailed off, furrowing her eyebrows. "We have been seeing each other for over a month now."

This caused Lia to sigh even louder, slamming her locker shut. "Okay, and?" She responded. "The guy's been here for like six weeks and he's already wanting you guys to start wearing matching jewelry? Sounds more like he wants to climb the popularity ladder."

Luna felt her eyes widen at this, as a hurt expression crossed the Fabray girl's face. "Okay, what is wrong with you?" Quinn asked loudly, growing more agitated at Lia. "You've been acting weird for weeks! We were fine after Halloween but now you're being all bitchy and moody again."

Amelia turned to Quinn with a venomous glare, crossing her arms over her chest. "I don't know." She spoke sarcastically. "Maybe I'm just mad because you keep putting your new boyfriend's needs over the needs of your two best friends." She told Quinn. "Maybe that's why I'm acting so weird and bitchy."

The youngest girl then scoffed, walking away before Quinn could even respond.

Luna stood in quiet shock. Not even three minutes ago, they were in a happy, jovial mood. And now Amelia was storming off and Quinn was standing looking utterly confused.

Quinn turned to face Luna. "What. . . just happened?"

Luna shrugged. "I dunno."

She did know, of course. She knew that the reason Amelia seemed to be offended by the whole promise ring situation was due to jealousy. But she wasn't about to tell anyone that, especially not Quinn, the person Lia had feelings for.

"Have I really been putting Sam above you guys? Cause I haven't been meaning to." Quinn hurriedly spoke. "I mean, we see each other all the time, like every day-"

Luna delicately walked nearer to Quinn, grimacing slightly. "Yeah, we do." She agreed, gesturing between herself and Quinn. "Cos we live together. But for Lia, it's only really here and then during glee club that she sees you anymore."

Now, this may have been bad of Luna. Considering that it was painstakingly obvious how near to being in an actual relationship Quinn and Sam were. But, what was the harm in pushing Quinn into apologising to Amelia, thus them (hopefully) spending more time with one another? Luna couldn't really see a fault in that plan, in all honesty.

Though, that's also what she thought about her plan to get her two friends to sing together during Duets week, and look how that turned out.

The Cheerio was silent for another moment, before she eventually nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I think you're right." Quinn then buried her head in her hands and groaned quietly. "I never meant to, though! I've just been so caught up with Sam. I really like him, Lu."

Ah, shit.

Luna sent Quinn a small smile, reaching up to wrap her arm around her blonde friend's shoulder. "I know." Was all she responded with.

The two of them then walked down the hallway a bit more, Quinn assuring Luna that she was going to find Amelia during glee club and apologise to her later that day. The Fabray girl then parted ways, heading to her next class, and Luna continued down the halls of Mckinley High.

As she continued walking, she felt her phone ping, bringing it out of her pocket, seeing that she received an email from the florist Kurt had asked her to email the night before. She typed out a quick response, explaining how yes, it was extremely vital that they had both red and orange flowers for the bridesmaid bouquets!

Letting out an irritated sigh, Luna noted that she was only mere feet away from Kurt's locker, so she decided to go and vent to him about how annoying the florist was being. She soon stopped in her tracks however, when she saw that he was already engaged in a reluctant conversation with Dave Karofsky.

Luna's stomach dropped, nervous butterflies forming as she watched as a look of fear came across her friend's features. His face went even paler than it usually was, making Luna frown even deeper.

Taking a few steps closer, Luna was able to hear the hushed conversation going on between the two boys.

"I don't want you near me." Kurt told Karofsky, his voice fearful.

Though the football player didn't seem to care at all about what Kurt did or didn't want. He continued to edge dangerously close towards Kurt. Luna watched as the Hummel boy took a step backwards, and that was all the indication that the Italian girl needed to intervene.

Her footsteps were loud as she stormed over to the two of them, inserting herself in front of Kurt protectively, glaring up at Dave with a venomous look on her face.

"Hey, asshole," she snapped, trying her best to make her 5'2 frame look taller. "He said he doesn't want you here. Why don't you take the fucking hint and leave?"

The bully sneered down at her, scoffing loudly as he then got in her face, too. Luna, however, refused to back down or flinch back. Instead she stood her ground, cocking her head to the side as if to say what the hell are you gonna do, bitch?

"Why don't you mind your own business, you dumb bitch?" Karofsky retorted.

Luna wanted to laugh at his weak comeback, but held back, giving how serious the current situation was.

Luna then put a hand on his chest, pushing him away from her and Kurt. Not that it did much good, as it seemed that Karofsky was a star football player for very good reason. He weighed a ton.

"I'm not leaving until you do." The Moretti girl challenged him.

This obviously made Kurt's tormentor realise that she wasn't about to leave any time soon, so he decided to turn his attention back to Kurt. He reached around Luna quickly enough for her not to be able to stop him, and pointed his finger harshly into Kurt's chest. The anger on his face was something that genuinely made Luna gulp worriedly.

Her eyes tried to scan the hallway for a teacher, but came up short, so she turned back towards Karofsky, now slightly fearfully. Though, for Kurt's sake, she tried her best not to show it.

Then, without warning, he violently snatched the wedding figurine from the Hummel boy's hand. A wicked smile crossed his face.

"Can I have this?" He asked mockingly.

Luna heard Kurt let out a shaky breath, and she presumed he had either nodded or just stayed silent. It was then that Luna's courage came back.

"No, the hell you can." Luna told Dave, reaching forward and placing her fingers around the figurine he had just stolen. "Give it back!"

Now, in hindsight, Luna realised that this was a rookie mistake. I mean, what else was she expecting to happen from that situation. But in the moment, the most she expected Karofsky to do was call her a bitch again, and walk off to join his football buddies.

That's why she, quite literally, had the wind knocked out of her, as she felt Karofsky violently shake her off. The bigger male brought his other hand out of his pocket and used it to grab the wrist of her hand that was trying to take back Kurt's figurine.

He then roughly shoved the Moretti girl to the side with a scoff, sending her tumbling into the row of lockers by her side.

The loud clattering noise seemed to gain the attention of surrounding students, heads now turning to see what all the commotion was about. Luna felt herself fall to the linoleum floor, gasping for air, as the impact of her body on the lockers had winded her slightly.

With all the newfound attention now on him, Karofsky quickly rushed off, taking the wedding figurine with him. Luna felt a hand on her shoulder, looking up to see Kurt. Though he still looked pretty traumatised by their encounter himself, his eyes were set on her, and he looked incredibly worried.

"Oh, god, Luna." He uttered quietly. "Why did you do that?" He sounded like he was on the verge of tears.

Luna still couldn't really speak, and was more focused on trying to get her breathing back to normal. She felt her ribs twinge with pain with each breath, and grabbed Kurt's soft hand, for nothing more than her own comfort.

It was then that another shadow loomed over the two of them, and Luna closed her eyes, hoping it wasn't another member of the Titans, returning for round two. Hearing Mr Schuester's voice from above her was a pleasant surprise though.

"Luna, Kurt, are you two okay?" Their teacher asked in concern.

Will's eyes flitted down to where Luna was still sitting on the ground, her breathing now evening out slightly. His gaze was filled with worry, but when Luna reached up for a hand to help her stand up, both guys held out theirs, helping her to her feet.

Luna looked over to Kurt for his response to Mr Schue's question, and she saw how tear-filled his eyes were and this caused her eyes to also fill with similar tears.

Kurt shook his head no, and Luna then did the same. Mr Schue then placed his hand on both of their shoulders, giving them both sympathetic looks.

"Okay, let's go to the principal, come on."

*:・゚*:・゚

All in all, going to see Principal Sylvester hadn't really resulted in anything productive.

Even with the knowledge that David Karofsky had pushed Luna into the lockers, Sue upsettingly told the two students and their glee director that there was nothing she could legally do. Stating that the bully would simply state that he hadn't meant to hurt her and that it was "an accident".

What did surprise Luna, though, was how well Sue had handled the situation. There was no automatic disdain for the two glee kids wasn't obvious, and she had even seemed genuinely upset by the fact she couldn't do anything substantial to help either of them.

Though she did tell them that if Karofsky so much as laid a finger on either of them, she would expel him as rapidly as humanly possible.

Which was something, Luna supposed.

When they had eventually gotten to glee practice that afternoon, Luna hadn't anticipated just how mad everyone would become when they had found out what Karofsky had done to her, and what he had been doing to Kurt for the past weeks.

When she had told them about him pushing her into the lockers, Mike and Puck had flown out of their seats, the former having an enraged look on his face at his fellow footballer having hurt the girl that he now considered one of his closest friends.

And Puck had said something about how "it's not cool to lay your hands on a girl". Which Luna wasn't expecting, but she had been very appreciative of.

But after some calming down from Mr Schuester, and some comforting from their friends, Luna and Kurt seemed to relax and calm down a bit. Well, Luna more so than Kurt. Quinn and Amelia had pretty much stuck to the Italian girl's side like glue since finding out. Lia basically had to be scraped down from the ceiling when she found out what Karofsky had done.

Another feeling that Luna had been left with since the encounter with Kurt's bully, was one of guilt. She felt stupid for not realising how serious the whole Kurt-Karofsky situation was sooner. She, naively, had thought that he only tormented the Hummel boy as much as he tormented the rest of the New Directions.

She felt awful, and like she was an even worse friend. Her and Kurt hadn't said much else to one another that day, only opting to give each other a hug before departing home from school. They didn't call one another about wedding planning that night, either. Both realising that they should spend the night relaxing, and not stressing over bridesmaid dresses.

So now, as she sorted through her locker during lunch, Luna felt constantly on edge. She was checking over her shoulder for David every five seconds, and flinching anytime someone slammed their locker shut near her.

She was seriously reconsidering Mike's offer of being her own personal bodyguard around the school, that he had suggested yesterday. With Tina's encouragement, of course.

Luna then heard an unexpected voice from beside her, almost sending her into cardiac arrest.

"Hey," It was Santana.

Luna let out a loud gasp, spinning to face the Latina girl, covering her face in embarrassment as she realised how loudly she had gotten a fright.

"Holy shit, Tana." She let out in a low voice. "Don't do that. I've been so jumpy since yesterday."

An apologetic look crossed the tanned Cheerios' face. "Sorry." She told Luna sincerely, before tilting her head and softly staring at the Italian girl. "How are you, anyway? Since all that?"

Luna sighed, shutting her locker quietly. She grasped the straps of her backpack and twisted her mouth.

"I'm okay." She said, "My back hurts, though. And I've got some nasty purple bruises on my ribs and upper back. So they better fade before Burt and Carole's wedding or you're gonna have to apply some concealer in some super weird places." She joked.

Santana smirked lightly. "I'm down for that." She told Luna, winking. "Nothing I haven't seen before."

The mention of the night of their sleepover caused Luna to flush red. Her mind went back the two of them laying in Santana's bed, and Luna's hands in the other brunette's hair as Santana peppered kisses down her midriff area.

Luna then smiled cheekily back at the Latina. "Good, then I'll know who to look for."

Santana laughed quietly, before her face turned more serious again. "Seriously, though. I can make Karofsky's life a living hell. He can't just hurt you and get away scot-free like that."

Luna sighed, shrugging her shoulders. "Well, Principal Sylvester says there's nothing she can legally do unless he hurts us. Again."

"That's such bull." Sanatana breathed out.

"I know."

Their conversation was then interrupted by Santana's phone buzzing loudly, the cheerleader retrieved it from her red and white jacket pocket. Her eyes skimmed the text a few times before an annoyed look crossed her features.

"What the hell?" She snapped.

Luna furrowed her eyebrows. "What?"

"Britt just texted me, did you know that they're all having a glee girls meeting right now?"

Luna opened her mouth, looking offended. "Without us?"

Santana nodded. "Yeah, what bitches." She then grabbed Luna's hand. "Come on, Moretti."

Luna let Santana intertwine their fingers as they both walked down to where the choir room was. She couldn't help but smile as she looked at their interwoven hands, a blush coming to her cheeks once again.

They made their way inside the choir room, seeing Rachel standing at the piano, in front of Brittany, Quinn, Tina and Amelia. Amelia looked entirely befuddled as to why she was even there.

Luna also let out a sigh of relief when she saw that the Abrams girl was sitting right up next to Quinn. She presumed that the Fabray girl must have done as she promised and apologised for ditching Lia so much lately. Given all the events of the day before, Luna hadn't thought to ask how that conversation had gone.

As Luna and Santana got further into the room, they were able to hear the tail end of a conversation between Brittany and Tina.

"When you guys fooled around, did he ever just, like, lie there?" Brittany asked the goth girl.

Luna squinted her eyes in confusion, before looking over to Amelia who had a disgusted look on her face.

"Okay!" She interrupted. "Can we please not talk about my brother fooling around with anyone please!"

Luna let out a snort at this, looking over to the four girls sitting on stools in amusement. She saw Quinn roll her eyes slightly, though there was still a small smile on her face.

"Uh, why didn't you tell us that we were having a glee girls meeting?" Santana demanded to know as she approached Rachel.

Luna felt her quickly drop their intertwined hands, and held back a sigh of disappointment. She then decided to cross her arms as she looked at Rachel with an equally curious expression.

"Yeah, I'd like to know the answer to that, too."  The Italian girl spoke.

Rachel mirrored Luna's expression, folding her arms and looking at them with a stern expression. "This is a meeting for Glee girls with boyfriends." The Jewish girl told the two offended girls across from her. "We're going to make them stop Karofsky from bullying Kurt."

Luna tilted her head. "Are we in caveman times?" She wondered aloud.

Quinn then gestured to Luna with an outstretched hand, looking at the Berry girl with an I Told You So expression.

Santana then glared at Rachel and the other girls. "Okay, I'm dating Puckerman."

"You're getting naked with Puckerman." Quinn interjected.

Yeah, he's not the only one she's been getting naked with, Luna thought to herself.

She barely caught the fleeting glance that Santana gave her when Quinn said this. Almost as though she was checking for any signs of anger or annoyance on Luna's face. But happily, there were none.

Luna wasn't under any illusion that herself and Santana had an exclusive thing going on. All she knew for now was that they would share sneaky kisses in empty classrooms and bathroom stalls, and it was fun for both parties. That's all she needed to know for now.

"Besides, Puck can't mess with Karofsky; He's on probation." Tina pointed out. "If he gets in a fight with him, he'll be sent back to juvie."

Luna nodded in acknowledgement, turning towards Santana with a sheepish expression.

"She has a point." Luna whispered, and Santana looked at her in disbelief.

Then Luna looked over to where Lia was sitting, pointing in confusion before turning back to Rachel.

"Okay, if this is for glee girls with boyfriends, then why is Lia here?" She asked, "last time I checked, she's single, and if she had a secret boyfriend, I'd know about it."

Amelia nodded at Luna's statement. "That's true. Also, I genuinely have no clue why I'm here."

Rachel sighed as she rolled her eyes. "Lia is here because her twin brother is on the football team. Which means, along with Brittany, she can convince him to help us defend Kurt." Rachel then gestured for Luna and Santana to leave. "So, if you'll excuse us."

Luna couldn't help the scoff that escaped her mouth at Rachel's words. "Um, you do realise that I was there yesterday when Karofsky confronted Kurt?" She reminded, and Rachel's eyes grew sympathetic as the incident was brought up. "I have as much right to be here as anyone else, boyfriend or no boyfriend."

Rachel was silent after those words, and Santana finally broke the silence by scoffing.

"You're so on my list, dwarf." The Latina glowered, before grabbing Luna's hand once again. "Come on, Luna."

The Moretti girl didn't protest as she let herself be dragged along by Santana. She waved briefly over her shoulder to the others, before matching Santana's pace as they got into the hallway once more.

"Ugh, sometimes I wanna just hire a hitman to take Berry out." Santana complained.

Luna chuckled, as she absentmindedly threw an arm loosely around Santana's waist as they continued to walk.

"Honestly, I'd help you raise funds to pay for it." Luna offered. "She seriously gets on my nerves sometimes."

"Try all the time." The Latina corrected, before shrugging and inching closer to Luna. "Oh well, at least we know that we were the hottest bitches in there."

Another laugh escaped Luna's mouth as she nodded in agreement.

"Now, that's very true."

*:・゚*:・゚

Luna walked into the choir room the next day, looking up from her phone screen towards the rest of her fellow glee clubbers.

"Oh, my god!" She exclaimed as she set her eyes on some of the guys. "What the hell happened?" She asked, walking over to stand in front of them.

"Sam gave Karofsky the beatdown." Puck informed her.

Luna raised her eyebrows. "Really?" She then winced sympathetically as she caught a glimpse of the blonde boy's black eye. "Damn, that looks painful."

Sam nodded, smiling at her as Quinn pressed an ice pack to his bruised face. "Yeah, it's pretty gnarly." He agreed. "Was worth it though. He can't keep getting away with what he's been doing to Kurt. Or what he did to you yesterday." He then gestured to the purple and blue bruise peeking out from over her shoulder.

It was only visible because she was wearing a tank top, having gotten too warm in her last class to keep her cardigan on. She shuffled slightly self-consciously, before nodding at Sam.

"Well, I'm not usually one for violence, but I do appreciate what you guys did." She told the football guys.

She then flickered her gaze to Kurt, who was still sitting silently. She caught his eye briefly, but then looked away, and saw Santana wave her over to sit beside her. So she went over and sat herself down, smiling softly at the Latina, and leaning back to smile at Amelia, who was sitting directly behind her.

The guys still seemed impressed by Sam's fighting skills, as Mike continued to rave about the altercation.

"Dude was a wild animal." Mike told everyone.

"Manimal," Artie concurred, and Luna smirked at his interjection.

Brittany then leaned more towards Artie, speakinging lowly. "I'm so turned on by you right now."

Luna raised her eyebrows with a light smile, and she heard Lia groan from behind her. "Gross."

"How bad does it look?" Sam asked Quinn.

The blonde smiled seductively and pressed the ice pack back to his eye. "It's pretty hot, actually."

Luna heard Lia scoff once again.

"You have no idea how hard it was for me not to jump into that beatdown." Puck fumed from the other side of the seats.

Santana then spoke up, looking at Finn with a judgemental expression. "Where were you, Finn?" She asked him.

A look of panic spread across Finn's face at her question, and Luna peered down at him curiously. She also wanted to know the answer to this.

"I was still out on the field, okay?" The Quarterback's tone was more defensive than it should have been. "I totally would have given him a beatdown if I had been there, though."

Luna gave him a disbelieving look.

"The fact is, it shouldn't have gone down without you, Finn." Mercedes pointed out. "You should have been leading the charge."

Amelia nodded from her seat near the back. "Yeah, I completely agree." She voiced her opinion. "Aren't you supposed to be our leader?"

Kurt spoke for the first time since glee practice had begun. "Lay off Finn, everyone." He warned. "It isn't his problem. It's none of your problems, actually."

Luna wanted to voice her disagreement with the Hummel boy, but opted to stay quiet. She felt as though, out of everyone, it should be down to Finn to come to Kurt's defence. Seeing as they were going to be official step-brothers once the weekend was over.

"But like Luna said, thank you guys for what you did. Especially Sam." Kurt finished.

Mike nodded in agreement. "Seriously, the epitome of a leader."

His compliment made Sam smirk from his seat in the front row. Luna cast her eyes away from the blonde boy, looking up as Mr Schuester finally entered the choir room.

"What's going on?" He asked them all. "What happened to Sam's eye?"

"He stood up to Karofsky." Quinn told Mr Schue, pride evident in her voice.

"All the guys did." Tina confirmed. "Well not Finn."

"Is everyone okay? Do we all need to go talk to Principal Sylvester?" Will asked them.

Sam shook his head quickly. "No. I got in a few good licks, too, so we can just call it even." He told their teacher, who nodded reluctantly. Sam then looked over to where Kurt was sitting. "And maybe this will send a warning to Karofsky, telling him to back off Kurt."

Luna smiled softly at Sam's words. He truly was beginning to act like more of a leader than Finn right now. She cast a quick glance back at Amelia, and even she seemed to have softened at Sam's words. Dispute her dislike for him at the current moment.

Mr Schue walked over to Kurt and placed a hand on the Hummel boy's shoulder. "You okay, Kurt?" He asked softly.

Luna watched as her friend nodded silently, flipping open his wedding-planning folder, one that she had helped him put together during a free period they both had. Mr Schue then stepped back, putting his hands together lightly as he turned to the rest of the glee club.

"All right, guys. Let's take our places. We got a wedding to prepare for."

As everyone stood from their seats and made their way to the middle of the floor, Luna quickly crept over to Kurt, sitting down in the seat beside him.

"Hi," she whispered, causing him to look up at her.

"Hello," he greeted back, his lips turning up ever-so-slightly.

She then gestured down to his folder. "You know, we haven't done any wedding planning in like, two days." She pointed out.

Kurt nodded.

Luna then sighed, jutting out her bottom lip and pulled a sad face. "I miss you." She told him, half-jokingly.

This earned a small chuckle from Kurt, causing the Moretti girl to grin with pride. "It's only been two days." He reminded her, but then he nudged her arm with his. "But I've missed you, too."

*:・゚*:・゚

The rest of the week went remarkably well, given the circumstances that it had begun with.

Karofsky had been expelled. With thanks to Sue, Burt, and his own surprisingly decent dad. Luna had been called along to retell what had happened during her altercation with the Karofsky boy, and as soon as she had finished, and exited the office, she found herself growing emotional.

And then when she had heard that Principal Sylvester had immediately expelled him, Luna couldn't help the tears that escaped her eyes. Her and Kurt had both shared a hug, Luna telling him over and over again how sorry she was for not realising and helping him sooner.

She couldn't help the overwhelming feeling of relief she had as she watched Karofsky be escorted out. Though she knew that the way he had shoved her was nothing in comparison to what he had been putting Kurt through, it had left her shaken ever since it happened.

She also couldn't escape the bone-chilling feeling she got whenever she looked at Karofsky. The guy who had threatened to kill Kurt. Not that Luna had much doubt before, but she was pretty sure David was some sort of psycho.

She'd also been given a bear-hug from Burt, who had thanked her for speaking up about what Karofsky had done to her, which, in turn, helped towards getting him fully expelled.

Now it was the weekend, Saturday to be exact, and it was finally Burt and Carole's wedding day.

Luna had stayed over at the Hudson-Hummel residence the night before, going over last minute fixes with Kurt till about three in the morning. Which was a rookie mistake, as they needed to be up at five thirty. So, not Luna was running on two and a half hours of sleep, along with two energy drinks.

Luckily, all the Cheerios seemed to be amazing at make-up, even Brittany, so the large bags under the Italian girl's eyes were covered up expertly with some concealer that Quinn had applied when they had all started getting ready.

Luna had also opted to wear her hair down. Deciding it would be a lot less hassle for whomever had the unfortunate job of trying to tame her wild, messy curls that adorned her head whenever she washed her hair.

Luckily, though, Tina had managed to tame it enough to put it into waves, and braided two small sections of her hair, meeting them in the middle and letting the rest of her hair cascade down her head. And with a few cute, orange flowers to top it off, Luna wasn't ashamed to admit that she looked good.

All the girls did.

There was now only forty-five minutes till the actual wedding ceremony was to begin, and Luna was busying herself in the girls dressing room. She took the silky-looking red, bridesmaid dress off of it's hanger, slipping it on delicately. The Moretti girl then tried to contort her arms so she was able to zip it up, but let out a wince of pain as a sharp feeling shot up her ribcage. They were clearly still sensitive from hitting the lockers.

"You okay?" Santana's voice came from outside the changing partition in the dressing room.

Luna then took a couple steps, peering round to meet the Latina's eye. "Uh, yeah." She lied, before clearing her throat. "Could you come here for a second? I need a favour."

Santana nodded, making her way to stand behind the Moretti girl, whose back was exposed due to the annoying zipper refusing to zip up for her.

Luna getsured lazily with her hands towards the back of her dress. Bearing in mind that Santana had full view of the black, strapless bra she had decided to wear that day.

"Could you, um. . ." Luna trailed off.

Her nervousness made Santana chuckle to herself. "Sure." She agreed, walking over and began zipping her up. "You know this is giving me flashbacks to when we were getting ready for Regionals."

Luna smirked at Santana's comment. "Wow, yeah." She nodded. "Well, what can I say? You always seem to be on hand whenever I need help getting dressed."

"Wish it was the other way around," Santana whispered raspily.

Luna looked into the mirror in front of them, and their eyes met as Santana also looked up. The Latina then stepped back and removed her hands from Luna's back, a grin on her face.

"All done."

Luna then turned to face the other girl, and smoothed out her bridesmaid dress as she did so. "Thanks."

The two girls then stood in a semi-awkward silence, before Santana spoke up again.

"Before we go out and perform, I wanted to give you something." She told Luna.

Luna tilted her head out of curiosity. "Really?" She asked. "What is it?"

Santana didn't say any more, merely leaning across and pressing their lips together, once again. This kiss was more chaste than their other ones, considering they were kind of on a time crunch, and also due to the fact that they were both wearing lip gloss that could very easily smudge if they kissed for too long.

When Santana finally pulled back, Luna looked at her in surprise. "Am I gonna get one of those before every performance we do?" She joked.

Santana let out a breathy laugh through her nose, Luna felt the air fan down her, seeing as the two still hadn't stepped away from one another yet.

Santana shrugged. "Maybe."

Luna smiled once again, before looking at the time on the clock, and sighing. "Listen, I gotta go find Kurt. But, I'll see you out there?"

The Lopez girl nodded. "I'll be the hottest girl in red out there."

Luna laughed once more, before walking out of the dressing room in search of Kurt. The smile she was wearing never once leaving her face.

*:・゚*:・゚

The wedding ceremony had gone beautifully. Much to Luna and Kurt's relief. The New Directions performance of Marry You had gone down a treat. It had also been incredibly fun for them to perform. Luna and Amelia had skipped down the aisle as they sang a few lines of the song, both girls trying their best to contain their giggles.

There had also been many, many tears during the ceremony. And not just because of Burt's dad dancing.

Carole and Burt's vows were enough to send most of the wedding guests into tears. As Luna watched on with a watery smile, her eyes filling with happy tears each time she glanced at Kurt, she couldn't help but wonder if her parents had ever actually been as happy as she saw Carole and Burt had been during their ceremony.

The emotional atmosphere of the wedding ceremony soon turned into more of a party-type atmosphere as time went on and the later it got in the day. All the guests were gathered in a large hall in the same hotel as the ceremony had been held, with the wedding family's table being at the front, and then other, circular tables behind them.

Luna watched from her seat in between Amelia and Puck as Carole and Burt had their first dance. A fond smile adorned her face as she observed the look of absolute uncertainty on Burt's face as he spun his new bride under his arm.

"When we sway, I go weak," Mr Schue sang from behind the mic, and with a brass band accompanying him.

Luna saw Artie and Brittany do a little dance in their seats, a few away from her own, and let out a giggle as she watched the wheelchair-bound boy make salsa-like movements with his hands.

"When the marimba rhythm starts to play, dance with me, make me sway."

The newlywed couple continued on with their clumsy, yet still adorable, dance. Luna swayed to the music as she watched Santana shake her chest from where the Lopez girl was sitting beside Mercedes on the other side of the table.

"Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore, hold me close. Sway me more."

The grin never left Luna's face as she watched on for the rest of the couple's first dance. The only time it faltered was when she caught a glimpse of the crestfallen expression on Amelia's expression as the Abrams girl pretended like she couldn't notice Sam whispering softly into the blonde girl's ear.

The song then ended, and Burt dipped Carole once more, and then everyone burst into applause. Luna and Amelia let out a few whoops as they watched the couple walk back to their seats.

"And now," Mr Schuester spoke into the microphone. "I'd like to introduce one of the best men, Finn Hudson!"

Luna watched as Finn made his way into the middle of the dancefloor, her lips turning upwards into a small smirk, as she knew what was going to come along with the Hudson boy's speech.

Bless his soul, Luna thought to herself. He looks so nervous.

The tall Quarterback took a small glass of champagne from one of the waiters, before holding the microphone up to his mouth.

"Hi. Uh, thank you." Finn spoke as the scattered applause from the guests died down. "Best man. Right, uh. . ." He trailed off somewhat nervously. "Well, I want to propose a toast to my mom. . . who is so awesome."

That was an accurate statement, Carole was literally the best.

"I mean. . . somehow, even without one in the house, you taught me what it means to be a man." Finn told his mother, sincerity etched into every word.

Luna felt her lips form into a pout, and her eyes softened at Finn's words. She placed one hand over her heart, turning to Lia, seeing a similar look on her friend's face as well.

"In Glee Club, uh, whenever two of us got together, we got a nickname." Finn explained to the audience. "Rachel and I are Finchel."

Rachel let a proud smile come across her face at the mention of her and Finn's relationship. Luna smiled slightly at that, though she couldn't help but narrow her eyes when she saw Santana's stoic expression from her spot at the table.

"Rachel and Puck were Puckleberry," the smug smile on the Berry girl's face was wiped off and replaced with one of slight disgust at the reminder of her brief fling with Puck. "And today, a new union was formed. . . Furt."

There was surprised laughter throughout the hall, people not expecting the best man to be referring to himself and his new stepbrother. Kurt looked pleasantly surprised at Finn's words, and the Hummel boy's cheeks went slightly red.

"You and me, man. We're brothers from another mother." Finn told Kurt softly.

"Wait, that's so cute." Amelia whispered from beside Luna, and Luna nodded mutely in agreement.

"And quite frankly, no one else has shown me as much as you about what it means to be a man." Finn's speech continued. "And over the past few weeks, uh, some stuff's gone down, and I haven't manned up like I should've."

Finn's gaze then wandered briefly over to where Burt was sitting beside Kurt. Luna couldn't see the older man's expression from where she was sitting, but she hoped in her heart that it was one of forgiveness and understanding.

"From now on? No matter what it costs me, I got your back. Okay?" Finn's tone was adamant as he told Kurt this. "Even if it means getting a Slushie in the face every now and then."

Luna and Lia let out small laughs along with the rest of the New Directions.

"You put this entire wedding together by yourself, Kurt." Finn then paused, his eyes quickly scanning the tables before they landed on Luna. "With a little help from Luna, of course."

The Italian girl rolled her eyes playfully at him, shaking her head with slight embarrassment, feeling more sets of eyes on her now. She felt Puck nudge her softly from beside her, and she playfully glared at him, before absentmindedly letting herself lean against his arm, and focusing her attention back on Finn.

"So as a thank you, I had the glee club put together a little number in your honor." The Hudson boy shrugged nonchalantly.

The beginning part of Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars began to play, and Luna watched as the boys of the glee club all made their way up to join Finn on the dancefloor.

"Oh, her eyes, her eyes, make the stars look like they're not shinin'," Finn began, whilst doing a few dance steps along with the other guys. "Her hair, her hair, falls perfectly without her tryin'. She's so beautiful," Finn looked at his mother, who placed a hand over her heart as she watched her boy sing. "And I tell her everyday."

Luna then felt Lia grasp her hand softly, the two girls now making their way up with all the other's.

"Oh, you know, you know, you know I'd never ask you to change." Luna harmonized with the other girl's as Finn continued singing. The girls all doing their dance, before twirling in unison. "If perfect's what you're searching for, then just stay the same." Finn sang to Kurt, who watched on with an awestruck expression.

"So, don't even bother asking if you look okay," Finn reached out his hand for Kurt to take, which the other boy did. "You know I'll say!"

Luna found herself dancing across to where Kurt was, finally grasping his hand when she made it close enough to him. She was soon joined by Rachel and Mercedes.

"When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change," Finn continued, making his way over to where the girls and Kurt were standing. "Cause you're amazing, just the way you are."

Finn outstretched his arm, and Rachel sent him a lovestruck look, and made it look like she was about to go and join her boyfriend for the dance. But she only took a few steps, before letting out a laugh, and rushing back over, quickly ushering Kurt over to dance with the Hudson boy.

Luna smiled with joy as she watched the interaction, and when Rachel came to stand back beside her, she put her arm around the girl's shoulders, and the Berry girl leaned into her embrace, resting her head on Luna's shoulder.

"And when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while." Finn sang as he joined hands with Kurt, the two boys doing the same dance that Luna remembered them having to learn earlier in the week.

The New Directions were now all dancing in a circle around the two of them, Luna scanning the circle until her eyes met Santana's. The two of them smiled softly at one another, before Luna felt hands on her shoulders begin to pull her away from the circle. She looked up in surprise to see Puck, who was grinning down at her.

"'Cause girl you're amazing." The glee club sang. "Just the way you are."

Luna joined her fellow glee clubbers as they all formed a line behind Finn and Kurt, and she felt herself smile once more as she watched the two boys hug one another tightly.

"The way you are, the way you are. . ." Luna looped her arm through Santana's as they all sang to Burt and Carole. "Girl you're amazing, just the way you are."

Finn and Kurt walked over to their respective parents, bringing them up onto the floor to dance along to the rest of the song with them. Luna barely had time to witness the cuteness of it all, before she felt herself be brought into a close embrace by Santana. The Latina wound her arms around Luna's neck, and Luna automatically brought her hands to sit on her waist.

"When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change. Cause you're amazing, just the way you are."

Luna noticed Lia and Puck playfully dancing with one another, the both of them stealing glances over to Quinn and Sam, who seemed to almost be kissing as they danced along to the song.

She then brought her gaze back to Santana, who was still staring at her, the two girls giggled, before taking a few steps back from one another. It seemed like, for a few moments at least, they had both forgotten how much of a public setting they were in.

Santana, in an attempt to diffuse the tension that had been between them before, quickly spun Luna around, causing the Moretti girl to let out a giggle as she did so. The two girls then made their way over to Amelia and Puck, who noticed their presence and joined them halfway. The four of them now dancing in a small circle.

By the end of the song, Rachel and Finn were back in each other's arms, and Kurt and Mercedes were dancing together. Luna looked on as Puck and Santana fell back into one another's arms, and she felt herself lean against Lia, who rested her head on top of her own.

"'Cause girl you're amazing," Finn sang as the song came to a close. "Just the way you are, yeah!"

As everyone broke out into applause in the reception hall, Luna let out a content sigh. The troubles of the week, and about David Karofsky now in the back of her mind.

She felt happy.

*:・゚*:・゚

Luna had come to firmly believe that she shouldn't ever make it known when she was happy with her life. Not even for a few minutes.

Like at the wedding on Saturday, when she let herself feel utterly and completely happy just after the New Directions had performed. Or when she had let herself get caught up in how amazing it had felt to kiss Jesse after Regionals, those were both times she regretted letting herself be lulled into a false sense of security.

Cause look how well those situations have turned out.

As of right now, were she and Jesse on speaking terms? Not really, no.

Was that mostly down to her? For the second time in the past year, yes.

And now, Luna was sitting with her back against the bathroom sinks, tears barely being kept in her eyes as she pondered what had just gone down during glee rehearsal.

Kurt was leaving.

And Karofsky was back.

The latter, she had been informed of earlier in the day, as she sat in Principal Sylvester's office, in between Kurt and Carole. When Kurt had been called along to the office, he had asked her to come with him, and Sue had let her stay for the meeting, seeing as she had been one of Karofsky's victims earlier in the week.

Luna sat mostly in silence, spare from a few scoffs, as the meeting went on. Barely reacting when the Cheerios coach announced that she was resigning as Principal in protest.

And the anger Luna had felt when the words "no one witnessed him being violent" came out the Principal's mouth, was almost indescribable. Luna didn't care if no one had witnessed it. She had. She had felt the impact of his shove when she had been sent flying into the lockers. She was the one who's ribs still ached, even now, as she sat on the linoleum floor of the bathroom.

And she couldn't look at Kurt's devastated expression without wanting to burst into tears on his behalf. She was a nervous wreck after just one incident with Karofsky. Meanwhile, he had been enduring it for weeks, if not months, now. She couldn't imagine how he must have been feeling.

So, in some ways, she understands why Kurt made the decision to transfer to Dalton Academy. It must have seemed like an obvious choice, given their no-tolerance policy for bullying. Plus, he already knew Blaine, who attended the school, so he already had one friend there.

That doesn't mean she didn't hate the thought of not seeing one of her closest friends everyday at school, though.

The bathroom door swung open and Luna blinked a few times, causing the unshed tears to go back into her ducts. She was met with the two worried gazes of Quinn and Amelia.

Luna let out a loud sigh, bringing herself to stand up and meet the eyes of her two best friends.

"Hey," Luna's voice was soft.

Amelia sent her a tight smile, and Quinn's eyes even looked slightly red around the rims. They all seemed to be taking the news of Kurt's departure pretty bad.

"How are you?" Quinn asked the Italian girl, grabbing Luna's hand in the process. "I can't imagine what you must be feeling right now."

Luna shrugged, shaking her head. "I don't know," she then leaned back against the sink. "I mean, I understand why Kurt's leaving. What Karofsky put him through is awful. And I hate the fact that that asshole is allowed back in school."

Quinn and Lia nodded in agreement, a flicker of anger going through the younger girl's eyes at the mention of the tormentor.

"But, I'm just. . ." Luna trailed off. "I'm really gonna miss him."

Luna let her head drop as she heard her voice crack on the last word. She wanted nothing more than to let out a sob, but instead she took a few seconds to compose herself.

She had done enough crying this week. Especially over Dave Karofsky. She wasn't going to do it any more.

"But," She continued, doing her best to ignore the sad looks that her friends were giving her. "There's nothing I can do, so, I just gotta get on with it." She told them. "I'm not gonna let some stupid high-school jock make me scared in my own school."

A proud half-grin appeared on Lia's face at these words, and Quinn rubbed a thumb over Luna's knuckles.

"Well," Lia started to speak. "I'm pretty sure you won't need to worry about Karofsky hassling you when he comes back."

Luna shot her a questioning look.

Lia used her thumb to gesture outside of the bathroom door. "You basically have your own little protection detail." She informed the Italian girl. "The guys have made it painstakingly clear that their offer to protect Kurt in the hallways extends to you, too."

Luna's chest swelled at this information. "Really?" She wondered. "They don't have to do that-"

Quinn cut her off. "Oh they want to." She reassured Luna, who was still looking unsure about the whole thing. "They were all so mad when they found out about Karofsky hurting you. They'll probably start a fight with him just for looking at you wrong." She then shrugged.

"Wow." Luna uttered.

Luna knew that a large part of the reason that the guys probably wanted to do this for her, was out of guilt. Yes, slightly because they felt bad that none of them had been there to stop Karofsky from hurting her, but, she could also tell just how guilty everyone member of the glee club was feeling. Given that it had taken them all so long to actually realize how severe Kurt's bullying situation was.

"Yeah, that's testosterone-filled teenage boys for you." Lia joked. "Always looking to fight someone."

Quinn let out a laugh, nodding in agreement. The two girls met eyes, and their gazes softened ever-so-slightly, before Lia reached out and grabbed Quinn's other hand, the one that wasn't currently holding onto Luna's. The Abrams girl then took Luna's other hand in her own.

A mischievous grin was now on the youngest girl's face. "What do you say we have an Angelic Trio sleepover this weekend?"

Luna raised her eyebrows. "Ooh, yes please."

The two brunettes then shifted their eyes to Quinn, who bit her lip in worry.

"Uh, I was supposed to go get dinner with Sam. . ." The blond trailed off.

Luna felt her shoulders deflate, and Lia's eyes cast themselves downwards, falling onto the promise ring Quinn had been wearing since first period.

Guess Sam and Quinn were now an official couple.

Quinn self-consciously went to cover the ring with her other hand, before shaking her head. A small smile spread across her face.

"You know what, Sam and I can get dinner whenever." She ultimately decided. "My girls come first, and I'm in dire need of a girls night with you two."

Amelia let out a squeal, clasping her hands together in delight. "Yay!" She exclaimed. "Okay, I already know we're gonna be watching Thirteen Going on Thirty. . ."

Luna smiled as she listened to Amelia continue to ramble as the three of them walked out of the ladies room. She continued to walk down the hall, silently listening as her two friends spoke on either side of her. It was as though the slight altercation between her two best friends earlier in the week had never happened. Much to Luna's delight.

As she walked, Luna's mind couldn't help but go back to what Quinn and Lia had told her about all the guys. She found it hard to believe that they were willing to put themselves in the direct line of the football-team bullies, and make themselves direct targets of Karofsky, purely so she would feel more safe at school.

Though everything in regards to Kurt still sucked pretty majorly, Luna knew that the glee club had her back. Just like she had theirs. And for that she couldn't be more grateful.

I do not own glee, all rights go to Ryan Murphy, FOX and whomever else made that acid trip of a show that I love so much.

I neither own the gifs in any of my chapters unless stated otherwise, all credits go to the creators of the gifs.

A/N:
this chapter is 10k words long i'm so sorry besties 😂🥲

despite it's annoying length, i do hope you enjoyed this chapter! and that ur not too disappointed by the lack of jesse and st moretti content 💔. i promise it's not done for them, and this is still 100% a jesse fic! though i do think it's possible to have more than one person for you in ur life, and i really enjoy exploring that with Lutana.

plus lutana are just too adorable for me not to hehe ❤️

but yeah, this was a very friendship-based chapter, which i loved writing. i also loved expanding more friendships of luna's. and i particularly enjoyed the cute lil friendship moments with her and Puck, im excited for their friendship to develop more as well.

also, for anyone curious and wanting to know, yes luna and santana did have the sex in the last chapter. and no i don't rlly care if anyone thinks her first time should have been with jesse 😅, virginity is a social construct and i don't rlly care much for it tbh. plus i don't rlly see the point in making a huge deal out of it anyways bc it was more of a heat-of-the-moment thing with lutana. it'll be different when it comes to st moretti.

but yeah, bet ur all surprised to see me so soon lololol 🥰.

oh and also! a while back my friend ashley (peachpick) made me this meme and i feel like it's very relevant for where we are in the story right now:

lmaooo i love it sm 😂😂

and if anyone is curious what luna's bridesmaid dress looked like, it looked like this:

Okay now i'm done with the authors note😂😂.

but yeah, thank you all so much for reading, ily all sm and i'll see u in the next chapter
