Beth's POV:
"So we'll name it The Cure?" Kamille asked me.
I nodded and her, Jesy and I finished up the song. It's a song Jesy and I love. A cute comfort song.
"Yeah it's simple but it's cute." I said. Jesy agreed.
I showed my song idea to Kamille and Jesy wanted to write on this song with us a lot. Of course we then worked together.
Today is the fifteenth October. Our tour was and will remain insane. We are gonna stay in the UK for now. Our last two concerts of this tour will be in Japan though.
I have been doing great. That isn't even a lie. This fucking fire that wrecked my whole life isn't a bother to me anymore. I've learnt to accept it.
Jesy and I have been the perfect emotional support to each other. With the help of Dr. Parker as well I have been just great. Both Jesy and I are getting more and more comfortable with our body.
Perrie and I aren't talking alone as much as we used to. I think she's just trying really hard to not break her promise to Sam. Giving me space to heal.
I won't stop seeing Dr. Parker, but I don't have to do daily sessions anymore.
We finished today's writing and I made my way to my car after bidding my goodbyes. Revving the engine I backed out of my parking space.
In 10 days it's gonna be 7 years since they are gone. I will be 23.
I shook my head. It took me 7 fucking years to accept it.
I got a call so I connected it to my Bluetooth speaker.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey Beth. I got a question." I heard Perrie's voice.
I smiled subconsciously.
"Yeah sure. Ask away." I said.
"You wanna sleepover tonight? We haven't spoken in long." She said.
I bit my lip. Is that smart right now?
Whatever.
"Yeah sure. I'm just gonna go pick up what I need." I said.
We bid our goodbyes and hung up.
I arrived home and felt nervous. What the fuck? I used to live there. Jesus.
"Hey, how did your writing session go?" Noah asked while reading the newspaper.
"Since when do you read the newspaper?" I asked confused.
"I've gotten old." He smirked.
"Yeah right. I'm gonna go sleep at Perrie's." I said and tried to leave before he can interrogate me.
"Woah wait. Did I hear you right?" He teased.
"You guys back together?" He asked.
"No. She asked me if we could spend some one on one time since it's been a long time. We will go to our venue from there." I said.
"Right so you've put me on the guest list? I wanna see my little sister in action." He asked.
"Yeah. Just say your name." I said and left to go pack a small bag.
After Noah returned a few months ago he of course took his old identity back. Since he didn't know his name he went by another name he randomly chose. The media was in a frenzy.
The articles went wild, 'Little Mix Star Elizabeth Fields, Deceased Brother actually alive?'
In interviews I finally cleared it up. Now Noah is a more known personality just like the girls siblings.
"I'm out!" I said.
"Take care." He simply said and then I shut the door.
I drove the short drive to my old home. I have been great. I think I would be ready to get back together with Perrie, but does she even want that anymore?
I shook my head. I need to stop being so insecure with our relationship. If she wanted someone else she would have gotten someone months ago.
Driving up our driveway after Perrie opened the gate for me I parked. I stepped out and took my bag out of the trunk.
I went up to the door where Perrie was standing and waiting for me. I smiled and she smiled back. It was that sort of smile that just shows how content you are at the moment.
"Hey." She simply said.
"Hey." I answered back. I don't know why this just feels so new again. Like we aren't used to being alone together although we always were.
"So... we are meant to wake up early tomorrow... but how do you feel about movie night and hot chocolate?" Perrie asked hopefully.
I smiled, "Totally up for it."
She smiled brightly and we went to the kitchen to make the hot chocolate. I instantly remember when we first moved in together in my old flat. I did that so I could cheer her up after the whole Zayn incident.
The night she first kissed me.
A blush covered my cheeks but luckily Perrie was busy choosing a movie while I made the hot chocolate.
"How do you feel about Tangled?" She asked.
I watched that movie about a million times, but she loves it so I'll gladly do it a million times more.
"Sure." I said.
It's these simple things that I know make her happy. Me trying stuff she likes, just like how she tries stuff I like. It's what made us connect a lot more. We are different in many ways, but that is what I believe love is. Opposites attract, but we also try many new things for each other.
She makes me a better person with no doubt. I want to be better for her.
So all cosy with blankets and our hot chocolate we started the film. Perrie as always very intrigued although she knows exactly what happens, and me just being happy about how happy this makes her.
Somehow we ended up being very close to each other and I made a very bold move. For me it was bold at least.
I took her hand in mine and she immediately looked to me. I simply stayed looking at the movie and from the corner of my eye I saw her little smile and enjoyment. It felt so good holding her hand after such a long time. God... I missed her.
I spaced out and didn't even notice that the movie has long ended. Perrie didn't move though, it seems we both didn't want to stop holding hands right now.
"I... I missed this." She said quietly.
"Me too." I replied squeezing her hand lightly.
"Will we ever get back together?" She asked me.
"I hope so... the question is, do you still want me?" I asked.
"Always." She said turning to look at me with those blue eyes that made me go insane.
"Do you still want me?" She asked.
"I will always want you by my side. No matter what." I said truthfully.
If I could ever choose a moment I want frozen in time... it would be this moment right here. The only light coming from the Telly, illuminating Perrie's beautiful features, her eyes that always told me the truth. The sincerity in our tone while giving these meaningful answers.
In the back of my head I felt guilt, for not choosing a moment with my family, but I think this is the most content I ever felt.
Even though I love my family, not everything was perfect, school life wasn't perfect, money struggles were constantly there, arguments in the family existed, I just shut those memories out because I missed them. I only wanted to remember the good things, but there were many bad things as well.
"Will you let me know when you are ready?" She asked me.
I smiled, I already was, but I'm gonna make that more special.
"Promise." I said.
We fell asleep on the couch and God... I missed sleeping next to her.
