"You messed up my potion in class! On purpose!" accused Hermione, taking fast steps towards Y/N quickly, the girl only backing away until her back hit the wall.
"It wasn't on purpose! Okay maybe it was but I needed a laugh— are we fighting or flirting right now?" queried Y/N in a conversing tone, looking down only to see Hermione's hand wrapped around her neck
"My hand is literally around your neck." said Hermione in disbelief.
"Yes and that's currently giving me mixed signals." giggled Y/N as the bushy haired girls hand fell to her side in embarrassment.
"You know, we fight so much that sometimes our friends don't want us around." huffed Hermione.
"Ron isn't my friend, I only tolerate James because he's my brother, no one likes Peter, and Sirius is basically a pet." protested Y/N with a shrug.
"Uh." said Sirius from behind them. "Arf?" he imitated a dog uncertainly, both girls going into a fit of giggles.
"What're you going to do for the holidays, Y/N?" asked James from beside them.
"I'll be doing Granger—"
"Shush it!"
"I'll shut up only if you call me pretty." challenged Y/N.
"You're pretty annoying and stubborn." smiled Hermione.
"Touché, Granger."
