Athena's pov
After about 20 minutes we decided to go to a club owned by me and my siblings. As I walk in the heat hits me as bodys are all over the dance floor. The guards make way for us as we sit in seating only reserved for us. "Athena try not to get too drunk" Alessandro says to me, making my jaw drop.
"There are other people here, not just me" I tell her as Lucky sits beside me already with a drink in his hand. My eyes stayed glued to him as he took off his suit jacket and brought his dress shirt sleeves to his elbow making me quickly turn my face which is without a doubt as red as a tomato.
Mia saves the day handing me a shot which I quickly sit down on the table. "Vincenzo's on his way already" Mia lets me know as I pray that he doesn't embrasse me more than my brothers have. Soon a waiter came asking if we wanted anything to drink. I quickly order a bottle of hard liquor as everyone else says what they want.
A tispy Mia is flirting with Adriano who is clearly in love with her. He is literally looking at her like she's the only girl in the whole room. I feel a hand placed on the small of my back looking to see Lucky completely unfazed talking to Agosto. "What did I miss?" Enzo says sitting on the empty chair looking around the area until his eyes land on Lucky. "Holy shit you're that guy from-" He starts to say until I step on his foot making him wince in pain.
Agosto gives me a weird look as our drinks come in. I grab the bottle, flicking the cap off letting a big amount of liquor run down my throat. Tonight I need to let go.
From the corner of my eye I see Mia and Adriano dancing. A smile flashes on my face all I can hope for is soon they end up together. Enzo starts chatting it up with Lucky as his hand still stays on the small of my back, his thumb running up and down.
I keep on taking hits from the bottle until I notice it's almost gone. Not even feeling a thing, I get up and make my way to the bar to order another one. Sitting on the bar stool waiting for yet another bottle I feel his presence next to me. "Can I help you Lucky" I turn facing him as his glass gets filled with brown liquor again.
"Bambina you and I both know there are many things you can help me with" He states, eyeing my body once again. The bottle of alcohol gets put in front of me as the bartender goes to serve others. Opening the bottle I grab his hand taking him to where we were previously sitting.
He sips his brown liquor as I move closer to his putting a hand on his chest. Instantly the chatter around us goes quiet as my brothers watch my every move. "Trust me Lucky I think you've made it known" I tell him before walking to where all the bodies are.
I match my body to the beat of the music, losing myself in not caring who is watching. The liquor has already made its way into my system as it's making me more carefree. I feel his icy blue eyes staring at me as a man not much older than me starts dancing with me.
Looking over at Lucky I give him a wink as he clenches the glass so tight it might break.
Lucky's pov
She is messing with me. God and that wink she knows what she's doing but she looks so damn good doing it. The way she matches the music is purely a bliss to watch. I drink the rest of the liquid in my cup, filling it up again in a matter of seconds.
"Devil and Hades now this is a show" Leo says with 2 girls by his side all over him. She's a devil who really knows how to put on the innocent act. She keeps dancing with a random man as she knows my eyes never leave her. She whispers something in his ear and his eyes light up as he pulls her deadly close to his body.
Slamming the glass to the table I push my way past the many bodies on the dance floor grabbing her hand. She is pulled off the guy following me from behind as he stares in pure shock. I walk into the back room, locking the door, trapping her with my hands over her head. "You think that was funny" I growl in her ear as she just laughs.
Are you kidding me?
"Listen Hades you're all big in bad in your world but we're in mine now and they call me the devil for a reason" She smirks as her stormy grey eyes darken traveling back and forth from my eyes to lips. "Bambiana don't test me" I breathe on her neck as my words affect her causing the hair on her neck to stand up. Placing a soft kiss on her shoulder she wraps her arms around my neck leaving no room in between us.
"I always pass tests that I take" She bats her eyelashes looking as innocent as possible as a sly smirk form in her face. Leaning her face forward she presses her soft lips to the nape of my neck letting her hands that were previously there find it way to my hair.
She's messing with me and she's winning. I would let her keep winning if it meant we were in this same position every time. The short week I've known her and she brings this excitement I'm not letting go easily. "Come on Hades let's go dance" Grabbing my hand walking out backroom straight to the dance floor.
She immediately starts to dance with the beat as I just stand there watching her. The way her tall frame moves as she grabs me trying to get me to move with her. Taking her body onto mine to fall into her touch moving with her. Feeling the stare of her 4 older brothers looking at them Alessandro looks like he wants to rip my head off as his wife is trying to get him to let go of the tight grip on his cup. Aneglo just has a blank face with his wife Viola under his wing. Agosto looks the same as Alessandro does just with his Fiance Capri trying to get him to focus on something else. Seems as the only other brother who has a smirk on his face is Adriano. He raises his glass to me as he chugs the rest of it down. Mia sits with him who shows pure excitement on her face while Leo's jaw drops not even focusing on the girl by his side.
Focusing back on the girl I'm dancing with, her hair is now pushed to one side of her face as her arms find their way around my neck again. Pulling her in my hands snake their way around her waist as our bodys both move to the beat.
I can't look away from her even if I tried to, not that I'm complaining.
Athena's pov
The way Lucky's body moved against mine just a few minutes ago was godly. Currently he's sitting next to me as his arm drapes around my waist. I think Alessandro's still scolding me but I tuned him out focusing on the music playing.
"Let her live Alessandro at her age we were doing a lot more than just dancing" My lovely sister in law Rina says. He shoots her a disapproving look before taking his drink in his hand. About another hour passes and I know I'm already dangerously drunk.
"Okay bambina it's time for you to go home" A pair of icy blue eyes says, lifting me wrapping their arms around my waist making sure I don't fall. Feeling a sense of home in their arms I comply with everything he says trying not to trip on my feet.
He keeps whispering things in my ear about how he'll take care of me and the floor. I took out of it comprehending he ducks my head before I feel the soft seats of a car. I feel him place himself next to me as I lean my head on his chest holding his hand. Gently closing my eyes I dream about the Icy blue ones holding me in their arms.
Lucky's Pov
She fell asleep on me while I was brushing her hair down. Sleeping, she looks like a pure innocent angel, she holds my hand as her breaths start to even out. I let her brothers know that we were leaving but most of them were drunk off their asses too. Leo decided to call it a night and left with me and Athena. He called one of the drivers I had and they picked us up in less than 5 minutes. "You stole my girl" Leo looks back at me.
His girl please he's been trying for the last 10 years and nothing. I met her a week ago and had better luck. "I'm just playing with you man the way you guys look at each other already is enough to tell you guys are in love." He smirks at me as I put a questioning look on my face.
In love? Sure she was beautiful but I wouldn't say I was in love. Love was something very powerful and it's a drug I don't think I'll ever take. Messed up things happen when in love with a person especially with the business that we are in.
Soon we make it to my house and I move Athena off my lap causing her to stir a bit. I quickly grab her, lifting her up in a bridal style. She cuddles into my chest leaving her head in the crook of my neck. Looking down at her angelic state I try not to walk too fast to make her uncomfortable. Placing her in a spare bedroom to respect her privacy I take off her heels putting them on the floor wrapping her in the comforter.
"I want one of the female guards to check on her every hour making sure she's okay. If any little thing is to happen, call my phone immediately" I tell one of my guards who nods and I send him away to deliver the news. Stepping into my bedroom, closing the door, kicking my shoes off, feeling a sense of relief.
Stepping into the bathroom turning on the shower I step in letting the hot water relax my muscles. Letting my body soak in the water I couldn't help to think of Athena. The innocent angel who is also the devil in disguise who would've ever thought.
Taking the towel I had on the heater I wrap it around my waist stepping out of the bathroom into my room. I throw on a pair of grey pants before laying down looking at the ceiling. My thoughts are completely on Athena as I find myself trying to sleep.
