Kim Junkyu, the one that always had the brightest smile is not smiling anymore. He's lying on the hospital bed covered in bandages.
"How did this happen." I sobbed while standing beside his bed.
"KIM JUNKYU waKe UP." I cried even harder holding his hand.
"Um, miss. That's not-"
I pushed away the nurse's hand who held my shoulder.
"How bad was the accident?" I sobbed as I faced the nurse.
"Miss, this is not Kim Junkyu. Kim Junkyu is lying over there." The nurse pointed.
I looked at the direction the nurse pointed and I saw Junkyu who was sleeping on the hospital bed at the end of the hall. I stopped tearing up and walked to Junkyu, that was embarrassing....damn it.
"Luckily, Kim Junkyu did not receive any bad injuries." The nurse said as she led me to Junkyu.
"I see, thank you so much." I smiled and bowed to the nurse who then walked away.
I sat on the stool beside his bed and starred at him. He only had a little cut on his forehead and his hand was bandaged, it looked like it was broken... I sighed looking at the poor soul who laid there.
"Kim Junkyu, I'm glad that you're alive." I said as I wiped my tears away.
"You know, I always wanted to tell you something." I said softly so that only he could hear my voice.
"Don't you think Jeongwoo and Haruto like each other?" I chuckled a bit as that sounded like a whole lot of rubbish.
"I might sound crazy but they actually seem like they do." I laughed.
"I thought I was the only one." I heard his voice.
I looked at him again and saw him open his eyes.
"You're awake?" I chocked as I distanced myself from him.
Junkyu immediately sat up and starred at me.
"I saw everything that happened from when you walked in, the moment you were crying in front of the wrong person." Junkyu pointed and laughed.
I bit my lip and looked away feeling embarrassed.
"but yea Haruto and Jeongwoo looks like they have a thing going on? Don't they?" Junkyu chuckled and laid back onto the bed.
"US A THING?" I heard two familiar voices behind us.
"HARUTO, JEONGWOO?" I looked away in embarrassment.
"I'm not into guys." Jeongwoo stated and pushed Haruto away.
"I'm not into guys too." Haruto scoffed.
"I'm sorry that I mistaken you guys to be-"
"You better not finish your sentence." Jeongwoo smiled as he shut my mouth with his hand.
I hit my lips and sat back onto the chair.
"I didn't think you guys would come and visit me." Junkyu smiled happily.
"No one said we were visiting you." Jeongwoo scoffed and walked away.
"What's wrong with him." I nudged Haruto.
"I don't know, he was fine when we were on the way here." Haruto sighed as he saw Jeongwoo walk away.
"We'll see you when you get discharged." I bid goodbye to Junkyu as I and Haruto went out.
"Park Jeongwoo, I'm so sorry I had the wrong assumption about you and Haruto." I pleaded as I held onto his sleeve. Jeongwoo looked away, he even pouted which signaled that he was actually kind of mad.
"I'll accept your apology if you treat me for some food." Jeongwoo said softly.
"Jeongwoo-" Haruto wanted to stop him but I agreed to it and we went to a nearby restaurant.
We found a seat at the end of the restaurant which was very near to the aircond, it was blazing hot so we needed to cool ourselves from the heat.
"So you guys have 3 months left for the show, aren't you guys nervous?" Jeongwoo started the conversation as soon as we sat down.
"3 months is a long time." I smiled.
"It's going to pass by like a flash, don't underestimate time." Haruto sighed as he looked at his phone.
"The song is still in progress and there's so much more to do." Jeongwoo said.
"When did you get so interested in this?" I questioned.
"You need to win the prize money so that we can share it." Jeongwoo chuckled.
"Who said we were going to share it with you?" I sighed.
Jeongwoo pointed to Haruto.
"Me? I swear I didn't say anything." Haruto glared at Jeongwoo.
"Fine maybe only 5% of the money since you helped with the song." I held out my hand for a deal with Jeongwoo.
"DEAL" He shook my hand.
"The food is here." Haruto pointed.
We munched on the food and spent the whole day in the recording studio. We stayed there till it was late at night, we had the determination to win the prize money.
"We should head back, it's late." Jeongwoo said as he looked at the clock.
We stopped practicing and packed up.
"See you tomorrow and get back home safely." Haruto smiled as he handed me a water bottle.
"Thanks and see you too." I smiled and headed out with Jeongwoo.
"It's been a long time since we had night walks together." Jeongwoo said as he starred into the sky that was filled with stars.
"I know, it feels like it's been a year or two since we did that." I smiled at him.
"Let's stop by the playground." Jeongwoo pointed.
"I guess we could since Hyunsuk hasn't texted me." I checked my phone.
Mashiho : Hi y/n, I need you and Haruto to be at our company tomorrow. We need to discuss your identities for the show.
I read Mashiho's text. I wonder what our fake identities were going to be. I sent the message to Haruto immediately.
"Jeongwoo, I have to go to the broadcasting company tomorrow." I said as we sat on the swings.
"Looks like you're getting busy." Jeongwoo sighed.
"Do you want to follow us?" I asked.
"Can I?" Jeongwoo smiled.
"I'll ask Mashiho" I quickly texted him.
"He said you can!" I cheered and Jeongwoo smiled.
