They stood there numb. Unns was continuously watching the fire.
Unns: Did I kill him Manav?
Manav (cupping her face): Nahi Unnati.
Unns: But maine usse bahot zorr se maara tha
Manav: Unnati usse tune nhi maara...vo khud apni vajah se mara hai.
Unns: But Manav..
Manav: Shhh...
Sanku: Vahini isme aapki koi galti nhi hai.
Manav: Jo hona tha hogya Unnati..Abeer is finally gone. Ab vo kabhi vapis nhi aayega.
Manav wiped off her tears with his thumbs and then kissed her forehead.
Arsh: Paa aap thik ho? (Caressing her hair)
Unns nodded in a yes
Addy: Did he do something wrong?
Unns nodded in a no
Tk just couldn't control. He hugged her very tightly.
Tk: My heart is finally at peace
Sanku: You don't know what we went through when you were not around. How difficult it was to pass each and every second knowing that you had been held captived by that Abeer (a drop of tear fell from his eye)
Unns wiped off his tears
Unns: I am fine Sanku..look at me. I am fine.
Sanku hugged her.
Arsh: Humein ab ghar chalna chahiye..vaha sab pareshan ho rahe honge..Chalo paa (caressing her head)
Unns nodded.
Addy: But pehle humein hospital chalna chahiye..In sabko dressing ki zarurat hai and especially Unnati ko.
They then left for hospital first and got everyone's dressing done and then got back home. Rishu and Ashina were in the lobby waiting desperately for them to come back
Ashi: Ye log kaha reh gye.
Aash: My heart is sinking. Pichle 5 ghanton se inka kuch ata pata nhi hai.
Rishu: Mujhe bhi jaana chahiye tha saath
Ashi: Mujhe bahot tension ho rahi hai
Then only the bell rang. Rishu rushed to open the door. Addyrsh and Satan moved inside. Rishu along with Ashina looked at their wounds.
Rishu: Ye kya hua?!
Ashina ran towards Satan
Aash: Sanku? Ye chot kaha se lagi? Unnati kaha hai?
Ashi: Aur Manav? Kaha hai vo dono?
Then only Unnav arrived.
Seeing Unnati, the three rang towards her and hugged her.
Aash: Thank god tu thik hai Unns ( a drop of tear fell from her eye)
Ashi: Meri jaan hi nikal gyi thi
Rishu: Hushh finally.. she is home.
They all were having happy tears in their eyes. Seeing Unnati, Bronny came stumbling. Unns kneeled down in front of him.
Unns: Kuchhu.. Dekho mai aagyi Kuchhu..
Bronny put his paw on her face. She held his paw in her hand and kissed him.
Unns: Mera Kuchhu itna brave hai mujhe pta nhi tha..kaise aapne mere liye fight kiya. Thank you Bronny..thank you.
She hugged him, tears flowing from hers and everybody's eyes.
Rishu: Unnati mili kaha? Aur vo Abeer ka kaha hai? Aur tum log ki ye haalat kaise hui?
Unnsu stood there stunned. Arsh then signalled Manav to take her inside.
Manav: Chal Unnati ab tujhe rest karna chahiye.
He took her inside.
Rishu: Maine kuch galat puch liya kya?
Arsh then narrated the whole incident to them.
Aash: Omg..tum log itna sab face karje aaye ho vo bhi akele?
Ashi: Usne Noni ke saath kuch?
Sanku: Nhi bs usse thoda torture karne ki koshish ki
Tears brimmed in Ashina's eyes.
Aash: I am so sorry Unns you have to go through all this.
Tk hugged Aash.
Tk: it's okay babygirl. Atleast humein humari Unnati all safe and sound vapis mil gyi.
Ashi: Thank you Noni ko vapis laane ke liye.
Tk: Ak se kiya hua vaada Tk kabhi adhura nhi chodta.
Sanku: Bhale hi kutta ban jaye
Tk: Excuse me?
Rishu: Matlab?
Sanku: Humein gundo ka dhyaan bhatkaana tha..toh uske liye ye Tk bhai sahab kutta banke bhaukne lage..
Tk: Tere jaisa nihayti besharam aur bachhalan insaan maine aaj tak nhi dekha.. isne khud shuru kiya vo bhi billi ki awaaz nikaalke..ab ye billi bana toh maine socha mai kutta ban jaata hun
Addy: Mere bhai tujhe koi Zarurat nhi hai kutta banne ki kyuki tu hai kutta..Ashi ka.. Benny ke baad tu hi toh hai uska paltu kutta
Tk glared at Addy while Sanku burst out laughing.
Sanku: Addy bhai kya on point baat boli hai.
Tk: Tu toh chup hi kar jaa.. humein toh jaise pta nhi ki tu honey ke saamne kaise bheegi billi banke ghumta hai...
Teri Honey ko dekhke jaise fatti haina..Bheegi Billi kahika
Sanku: Tu hoga bheegi billi
Tk: Aur tu hoga paltu kutta
Arsh: Bas karo yaaar
Sanku: Lala ji aap bich mein mt bolo..is Tk se ek kaam dhang se kiya nhi jaata..vaha jaake bhaukte bhaukte khaansne lag gya..agar pakde jaate toj
Tk: Nhi gye na? Bach gye na?
Sanku: Agar pakad lete vo log humein toh
Tk: Dekha nhi kaise 1 punch mein flat kardiya tha maine usse
Sanku: Vo toh banda mariyal sa tha varna tujhse ek lakdi na tute
Tk: Tune apni shakal dekhi hai? Ek hit mein toh tu gir gya tha
Sanku: Piche se maara tha ussne
Tk: Haan ab toh bahane banayega hi
Addy: Haan tabhi tu us bande ki jaan lene dauda tha kyuki usne Sanku ko maara tha
Tk: Vo toh mujhe bheegi billi pr daya aagyi thi
Sanku: mujhe teri daya ki koi Zarurat nhi hai
Tk: Toh jethalal lele
Ashi: Chi yaar Tk.. bahot lame tha
Sanku: Aur ye Lalaji ko dekh lo..vaha gunde ko haathon mein lagake pull ups maarne lage..fir kehte 2 din se gym nhi gya socha abhi laga lun..
Addy and Tk burst out laughing
Tk: Epic scene tha vo
Arsh: Toh isme galat kya hai? Gym miss nhi karna chahiye..
Addy: Vaise aaj workout mazedaar hogya
Rishu: Maine itna sab miss kardiya?
Arsh: Shukar hai tu nhi gya varna isse dekhkr toh vaha ke gunde bhi ispr fida ho jaate
Everybody started laughing while Rishu stood there pouting cutely.
Addy: But jo bhi hua nhi hona chahiye tha..
Arsh: Aur iska impact sabse zyada Unnati pr hoga
Sanku: Haan pta nhi kaise rahi hai vo ye kuch ghante vaha
Tk: Pta hai vaha kitna andhera tha
Aash: Unnati ke liye kitna difficult raha hoga na sab
Arsh: But humari Unnati strong hai..vo nikal hi aayegi isse
Ashi: Aur hum toh hai hi uske saath humesha.
Tk: Vo toh hai
Meanwhile inside Manav's room.
Manav took Unnati inside. He made her sit on the bed and went to grab some fresh pair of clothes for both of them. He turned around and saw she was not there. He then heart sound of water flowing. He moved towards the washroom and saw Unns was standing below the shower. He went inside and hugged her.
Unns: Did I kill him Manav?
Manav: Fir se vohi baat? (Cups her face) You did not kill him Unnati. He killed himself.
Unns: But I hit him pretty hard.
Manav: He was still moving. So you didn't kill me. End of the discussion.
Unns lowered down her face. He lifted her chin up.
Manav: Bhul jaa sab..please?
Unns nodded
Manav: Ab fatfat nahake bahar aaja.
Unns nodded again
After 5 mins, Unns came out. Manav was sitting on the bed waiting for her.
Manav: Aa bhi gaye aap nahake?
He went near her and made her sit on the bed and started drying her hair.
Unns: I thought mai ab tujhe kabhi nhi dekh paungi.
Manav paused there hearing her. He looked at her while she was already looking at him, tears flowing from both of them eyes. He then kneeled down in front of her and cupped her face.
Manav: Tujhe mujhse koi durr nhi kr sakta..koi bhi nhi
Unns: Mai bahot darr gyi thi Manav...mujhe lga vo mujhe lejayega apne saath
Manav put his finger on her lips in order to shush her and hugged her.
Manav: Mere hote hue tujhe koi mujhse durr nhi lekr jaa sakta.
Unns: Aajke baad mujhe akela chodhke kabhi nhi jayega na?
Manav: Kabhi nahi.
He pulled back and was caressing her cheek when he saw a cut on her neck
Manav: What's this?
Unns: Nothing..he kept his knife over here and asked me to say yes to his proposal jo maine obviously deny kiya toh maybe tab ye cut lg gya hoga
Without saying anything, he hugged her very tightly.
He then pulled back and started kissing her whole face. He then touched his head with hers.
Manav: Finally you are here. Finally I am at peace. (Tears fell from his eyes) Agar tujhe kuch ho jaata toh mai kya karta..kaise rehta tere bina? Thank god you are safe and sound and most importantly you are here with me. Thank god hum vaha time pr pahoch gye. Agar mai zara bhi late ho jaata toh pta nhi kya ho jaata..
Unns cupped his face.
Unns: I knew you would definitely come for me. Tere hote hue mujhe kuch nhi ho sakta haina..
Manav nodded. Unns wiped off his tears.
Unns: No more crying now.. okay?
He hugged her very tightly.
Unns: Mujhe bahot bhuk lagi hai.
Manav: I know..Wait here let me bring something to eat.
He went outside and came back holding a plate in his hand. He fed her a bite and then she took the spoon from his hand and fed him back. After having their food. They lay down with Unnati above him.
Unns: Our Bronny is a very courageous dog.
Manav: Dekha maine how he tried his best to safeguard you.
Unns: But usse chot lag gyi meri vajah se
Manav: Isme teri koi galti nhi hai. Now let's just forget everything and sleep. Tujhe rest ki bahot zarurat hai.
Unns nodded. He then kissed her forehead while she slept on his chest.
Manav's POV: Though my Unnsu is back but the fear of losing her will always be there. Last few hours were the most difficult for both of us. I was at the stake of losing the most precious part of my life without whom my life would probably end. Waheguru ye aapki kripa thi jo meri Unnati aaj mere pass hai. Agar aaj isse kuch ho jaata toh mai jeete jee marr jaata. Mujhe ye soch sochke hi ghabrahat ho rahi hai ki ye vaha kaise rahi..kaise usne isse treat kiya..isse vo sab kitna affect kiya hoga..jo ladki andhere mein 1 min nhi reh sakti vo vaha pura time bita kar aayi hai.. kitna traumatizing hai ye sab aur pta nhi ye trauma jaate jaate kitna time lage..but shukar hai aapka jo aapne meri Unnsu ke saath galat nhi hone diya.. Ab finally mere dil ko sukoon mila hai. Ab aajke baad mai isse kabhi apni nazron se durr nhi hone dunga..ye mera promise hai khud se. Humesha ye meri nazron ke saamne rahegi taaki mai isse un sab negative chhizo se protect kar saku.
He then kissed her forehead while he kept on caressing her head.
He let her sleep there only and didn't move a bit throughout the night so that her sleep doesn't get affected. He gazed upon her the whole night. He was compensating for all those times when she was away from him Last few hours were difficult for all of them but mostly for Unnav. Unnati directly faced the trauma while he faced indirectly. The fact that his Unnati is unsafe made him crazier but now he finally got his sukoon back sleeping in his arms.
He just want her to be there for the rest of their lives so that he can protect her like a shield, just like he had held her in his embrace engulfing her to protect her from every other mishappening. With this thought he tightened his grip and slept off.
