A/N: hello! Before you start this reading this story I just want to say this story is three years old! Please bear this in mind while reading :) also this part in particular will be the cringiest thing you have ever EVER read and I'm sorry. Dan P.O.V.
"Hey Dan?"
"Yes Philip?" I glanced up from my laptop at the boy with startling black hair whose eager blue eyes stared back into my brown ones. He glared at the sound of his name which made one side of my lips to turn upwards.
"Play Xbox with me?"
"Only if we're playing Guitar Hero, I don't think I can stand to watch you lose anymore."
"I'm not that bad!" He retorted, frowning. "Am I?" I laughed and shook my head and changed my attention back to my laptop to finish editing the new video I made earlier. I looked back at Phil who was frantically moving his thumbs around the controller with a face of concentration. "Die! Die! No! No don't do that!" I laughed and turned off the laptop, getting up and sitting next to him on the sofa.
"Phil, give it here," he reluctantly gave it to me before watching in disbelief as I finished the level for him. I grinned at him and messed up his hair. "So, Guitar Hero?"
"Hmph. Fine," he pouted and he looked so adorable I couldn't help but fling my arms around shoulders and I melted into his figure as he immediately opened his arms and brought me closer. Wait... I called him adorable? Again? I had been doing it a lot recently. I bit my lip and tried to forget it.
"Yay! Thank you Philly!"
"That name is even worse!" I pulled away from him and grinned and got up excitedly running around getting two guitars from my room and threw one at Phil. "You know, maybe I wanted to play drums," he teased. I stuck my tongue at him and put in the disc and chose a song to play. "And maybe I wanted another song..." I frowned at him and he laughed. "I'm joking Danny!"
We played non-stop for hours with ease, laughing at each other's failure's and denying the other's success's.
"Daaaaaaaaan, I'm tired," Phil yawned and stretched, running a hand through his hair and smiled at me sleepily. He looks so cute when he does that. No, stop it Dan, he's your best friend, you can't think that about him.
"Come on then," I took one off his arms and pulled him towards the sofa. I lay on it first and he cuddled into me with his back facing me. I draped one arm around him to pull him closer to me and rested my head on my arm which leant on the armchair.
"Night Danny."
"Night Philly," the warmth from his body was comforting to me. We slept like this a lot, it was normal, right? It meant nothing, didn't it? Thoughts swirled in my head and within minutes I heard the light snores from Phil, telling me he was asleep. I let sleep take me a while after as I nestled in closer, letting sleep take me.
