Nang mahatid ko na si Ara ay dumiretso naman ako pauwi ng bahay. Pagdating ko pa lang ay bumungad na agad sila Mom and Dad sa akin. Mabilis akong bumaba para mayakap sila.
"Mom Dad!" sabay yakap sa kanila.
"How's the trip?" ngiting tanong ko sa kanila.
"Halika anak, may dapat tayong pag-usapan" hinila nila ako patungo sa sala.
Nagtaka naman ako kung ano 'yong sasabihin nila, ngunit sinunud ko na lang sila and sat down on the sofa.
"Anak?" seryosong banggit ni Mommy sa akin. "We've heard that you only enrolled those who has wit and beauty students, how about those who have wit but unfortunate to have beauty, your too unfair iha'
"Im not being unfair Mom, I'm just choosing the best and those who deserve's to be educated."
Lumapit naman agad si Dad sa akin.
"I knew it!, maybe you hated beast it because-----
Bago pa ni Dad dugtongan ang sinabi niya ay tumayo ako agad.
"It's been a year Dad, let's just forget 'bout that thing." dahan-dahan akong humakbang para lisanin sila Dad.
I really hate my past, that's why I didn't want to speak up certain things about my past. It only remembers and playbacked my mournful days. Beautiful life is too deceptive and beyond that is full of imperfections. Kay minabuti kong manahimik kung 'ano 'yong past ko.
