"Nothing", he said and looked at her again to ask did he made a mistake but from Anika's expression, it looked like nothing happened. He was about to ask when he heard the knocking sound of the door
"I will open it", Shivaay said and walked towards the door in slow steps. Anika wished it to be someone else than Samar because if Samar got to know about her then he will create a problem
Anika tried checking who is there but Shivaay was standing in front so she was unable to see him. After a minute Shivaay came inside his cabin with a few files. Anika sighed in relief when she noticed Shivaay alone
"Who was there?", asked Anika
"Few clients. They gave me a deal so these are deal papers. I thought Samar Rajput will get a deal but I got the deal. I am very happy!! ", Shivaay exclaimed in joy. He sat on his seat back and noticed that she is looking tense. Is it because he tried going close to her? He thought
"Why are you tensed? Any problem? Or is it because of me? I am sorry that time I didn't realise when I came close. From next time I will....", Shivaay tried explaining his actions but Anika interrupted him
"It is not because of you. And it is your right Shivaay I don't have any problem with you. I am comfortable near you and respect you because you earned that. Stop explaining when it is not needed. I can understand your actions. It will happen someday. We are a married couple all these things are normal", Anika told him in a soft voice. Shivaay nodded understanding her but why his mother was not comfortable with his father? He is his blood only then why does Anika feel safe with him
"Blood always shows their true colour", Shivaay heard Tej taunt in mind and opened his eyes with a jerk. He looked towards Anika who was making some designs on a drawing book.
"She always says that she is comfortable with me but even my mom was comfortable with dad first t...then after my birth, everything changed. What if I also changed after the birth of my children? Or what if I liked someone else? She is so innocent I don't want to cheat her", Shivaay thought and shivered thinking about his future. He wants his married life to be happy not like his parents. He even watched Tej shouting at Janvi and Janvi drinking wine because of his love for business
If not Om and dadi then Janvi would be drinking wine now too.
"But bade Papa never cheated Badi maa", said his mind. Shivaay held his head in frustration. Anika noticed his changed behaviour. She won't know what is happening but she is sure that something is worrying him
"Shivaay.. what happened?", asked Anika and placed her hand on his shoulder. Shivaay jerked her and turned towards her in fear
"N... nothing I am fine", Shivaay replied and started working on the laptop again. Anika wanted to ask something from him but stopped herself because he need some time
"Ok ", she replied and continued sketching designs for Shivaay's office. She wanted to ask the truth from him but don't know how as she know Shivaay will not tell her if she will ask something from him directly. He always tries to look normal in front of everyone when he is not. Even he deserves happiness
"I have to do something to make him happy", thought Anika

After some time they heard another knocking sound. Shivaay replied come in without looking upwards but Anika was looking towards the door. She prayed to God that Samar should not come here. She sighed in relief when she noticed Omru coming inside their cabin
"Good evening bhaiya and bhabhi", shouted Rudra after entering Shivaay's cabin. Shivaay closed his laptop and glared at him angrily
"This is my office, not Oberoi mansion Rudy and for your kind information very few people know that I am a married idiot", Shivaay shouted angrily and banged his hand on the table. Anika looked at him in horror as she never thought that he will get angry in just a small matter whereas Rudra rolled his Unaffected with Shivaay's anger.
He knows very well that Shivaay has a habit to shout every time for small mistakes so he is habitual of it. He sat near Anika with a pout. Shivaay realised that he shouted in his office so he opened his laptop again
"Sorry", Shivaay Whispered in low voice. He doesn't want her to think that he is a rude guy. He wants that she should always keep his good image in her mind not bad. Anika shooked her head with a smile because she know he apologized to her
"It's fine", replied Anika and asked Rudra
"Any problem Rudra?", Asked Anika
"No bhabhi dadi is coming back so mom sent me to take you home if bhaiya is busy. Regarding marriage bhabhi so he didn't tell me that you will not tell others regarding this marriage", Rudra replied in a serious voice. Shivaay sensed that something is wrong because most of the time Rudra is in funny mode. He is never serious, even if the conversation is serious he always tries to joke. He opened his mouth to clear his confusion but before he could do Anika replied
"It's not his fault Rudra. I asked him to stay quiet. Till I achieve success I want to hide my real identity and he is helping me. I am sorry", Anika apologized. Rudra smiled and gave Shivaay's mobile phone to Anika. Shivaay stand up to take his mobile back Anika herself gave him back
"Aare bhabhi you don't need to apologise instead I want you to record voice notes of Shivaay bhaiya's sorry. He doesn't apologise easily. And why did you give him his phone back? Try to behave like his wife bhabhi. You should check who texts him... See his face doesn't look innocent", Rudra said dramatically eyeing Shivaay. Shivaay glared at him angrily when he heard his lines. His words meant that he is trying to provoke Anika. Rudra winked towards Shivaay which went unnoticed by Anika
"Haha, Rudra I know he will never do that... He always gets business calls. No one congratulated him even", Anika giggled without looking towards Shivaay because she know he will get angry hearing their talks
"Ohh hello nobody congratulated me because we didn't invite the media. I didn't tell about our marriage to anyone. Instead, you told about our marriage to your so-called friend Nikhil", Shivaay said after coming in front of Anika. Before her back was facing him which she did Intentionally to hide from him
Rudra smirked as he heard someone's name from Shivaay for the first time. He forgets most of the names because of office work but he remembers him. Rudra turned toward Shivaay with a smirk because he sensed Shivaay's jealousy in his words
"Ohoo bhaiya you remember him. Wow ..... I think someone is jealous that Is why someone remembers Nikhil's name", teased Rudra and raised his eyebrows multiple times to ask him about the matter. Anika too looked towards Shivaay who is standing in front of her. She wants to know how he remember him when she forgot that he is working as an employee in Shivaay's office
"Shut up it is not like that", Shivaay said in irritation and slapped Rudra on his shoulder
"I remember him because...he... He is working in my office and congratulated me after the meeting. That's why I remembered that yes Anika told him about our marriage ", Shivaay replied with a nervous smile. He doesn't know if he is jealous or not but he didn't like when Nikhil wished him. His face looked like he was angry at him for marring Anika but thinking of him as his boss he wished
He respected Anika's wish not to tell anyone about this marriage but he want the same thing from her. If he is loyal then he wants her to stay loyal to him forever
"Jao Jao bhaiya. You can fool someone else but not me. Haha, see bhabhi how jealous he is.
Shivaay bhaiya just remembers one thing bhabhi is married to you only so stop being jealous ", teased Rudra. Shivaay turned towards Rudra but Rudra ran inside the bathroom of his cabin to save himself
"Dekho bhabhi he is going to kill me out of jealousy stop him. I am a bachelor. I want to make girlfriend bhabhi they will die ", Rudra cried dramatically when Shivaay chased him. Anika who was laughing her heart out stopped laughing and came between Shivaay and Rudra
"You know right that he was joking then why are you reacting like you were affected? Regarding him so sorry I told him without realising that I should not have. He is my friend from childhood so thought to tell him. I will keep this thing in my mind", Anika apologized and opened the door for Rudra. Rudra checked if he is safe or not before coming out. Shivaay's eyes always tell him about his mood so it is easy for him to guess
"It's ok. I just said that because you said that nobody congratulated me. How can they when they don't know I'm married? For them I am still bachelor ", Shivaay replied softly when he noticed that Anika took his words seriously. She was regretting that she told about their marriage when Shivaay didn't invite the media to any function to marry privately without any tension
His last line hurt Anika as yes it is true for others' Shivaay is the bachelor which means any girl can come to try their luck. And her bad luck is that she has to see all this in front of her eyes. She started thinking about her decision again
"Was hiding about our marriage a right decision?", Asked Anika from herself. Now she thinks that it was a wrong decision. Shivaay's words are true. He is a billionaire so if anyone will get news about his marriage they will congratulate him but only if they tell them otherwise nobody will dream about his marriage
