"Congratulations on a successful graduation!” Teachers and students filled the hall .
They had fun, chatted, took pictures and performed certificate -sharing ceremonies .
They don’t believe that eventually they will get out of the school world. There will be more obstacles that they will face once they step out of the school door .
"Hanee , my girl ! Congratulation !"
Seori and Minju hugged Hanee together .
"Congrats to both of you too , you look stunning in that dress"
Minju cupped her cheeks shyly .
"You look beautiful in that black dress too " She praises Hanee back making Hanee shy .
Sunghoon , Jay and Jake walked inside the ceremony hall together with their tuxedos .
It has become a tradition for graduates at their schools to wear beautiful dresses and suits .
"Wow , Hanee looks so pretty" Jake muttered .
Sunghoon looked at his right and Jake is right , Hanee wore a white dress decorated with small diamonds at the waist and at the hem .
She has her hair braided and tied it into a bun . Her bangs are left long on both sides of the ears .
Sunghoon coughed , suddenly felt butterflies inside his stomach .
Three of them approached Hanee with a grin on their faces .
"Wow , three of you look extra stunning today" Seori said making three of them giggling .
"What do they serve? ” Jay asked excitedly, peeking at the food available .
"They have chocolate fountain !" Minju beamed happily making Jay clapped his hands .
"Show me !"
Seori and Minju nodded , three of them immediately rushed towards the chocolate fountain , leaving their friends laughing .
Jake looked at Hanee , she is undeniable pretty tonight . She has a daisies crown on top of her head that make she looks like a princess from those fairytale .
He extended his hand to Hanee ,
"Can i have your dance , my lady ?"
Hanee chuckled and hit Jake's shoulder , "It's not the time to dance yet"
Jake grinned ,
"You can't dance with other man , i chose you to be my partner"
Sunghoon scoffed as he clenching his fists tightly , jealous with Jake . He wants to dance with Hanee too .
Before Hanee could reply, Junho came towards Jake "Jake, Mr. Kim is looking for you. He wants you to settle something'
Jake nodded , he looked at Hanee and smiled at her "Wait for me , i'm going to Mr.Kim"
Hanee smiled and assured him to go , her eyes followed Jake who is following Junho .
She heard a scoff from her side and her eyes connected with Sunghoon . Only the two of them left now and for some reason they feel very awkward .
"You look uhukk pre— uhukkk pretty today"
Hanee looked up to Sunghoon , noticing his reddish ears . Hanee smiled "Thank you , you look handsome too"
The bright lights suddenly turned dim, both of them looked around with suspicion .
"Eyyo , this is your DJ Jay ! Today I will play a lively song, BTS - FIRE !!"
Jay yelled through the speaker .
The song started playing with a very loud volume, Jay pressed the buttons of the colorful lights making them look like they were in a disco .
"DANCE DANCE DANCE"
Jay yelled through the speaker again .
"Argh , Jay isn't in his sense today"
Hanee groaned , covering her both ears as Sunghoon agreed .
"PARK JONGSEONG , YOU DEADMEAT—" Mr.Hong's voice heard through the speaker .
"HOW DARE YOU CHANGE THIS QUIET NIGHT TO DISCO? YOU WANT TO CAUSE PROBLEMS EVEN ON YOUR LAST DAY !! "
"EVERYONE SO THAT'S ALL FOR DJ JAY'S NIGHT ! AYEE— ARGH MR.HONG !! DON'T PULL MY EARS"
Hanee and Sunghoon looked at each other and bursted out laughing after hearing those mess that Jay cause .
"He is in a big trouble"
Sunghoon said .
"I know right , maybe Mr.Hong would give him a detention even we supposed to have fun today" Hanee added while laughing .
The situation calmed down again, dim lights were installed along with a soft and calm song .
This song and atmosphere make the situation very romantic. Most students already started dancing with their partners , following the soft rhythm .
Sunghoon coughed , he glanced at Hanee since Jake isn't here yet . Hanee pouted , she looks really upset since she can't dance now as Jake is nowhere to be seen .
Hanee awkwardly rubbed her nape , this situation make her fluttered all of the sudden .
"I will go and look for Jake ..."
She said as Sunghoon hummed .
Hanee proceed her way , looking for Jake around the hall . She tries her best not to collide with the couple who are dancing .
Someone suddenly bumped with her causing Hanee to almost fall but someone held Hanee's hand, preventing her from kissing the floor .
The boy pulled Hanee into his embrace causing Hanee's back to bumped with his chest .
Hanee couldn't help but her heart is beating crazily . He have his arms wrapped around Hanee's waist .
"W-who are you ?"
Hanee asked in nervousness . She can't see his face because of this dim light .
The boy rested his chin on Hanee's shoulder , sending shivers down to her spine .
"It's me"
Sunghoon whispered to her ears .
Hanee's face heated up , she feel like her heart could burst at anytime .
Hanee doesn't know what to reply so she let Sunghoon continue to hug her from behind . She has to admit that she's comfortable in his embrace .
"Hey .. This is the wrong way to dance. We should see each other's faces and hold hands" Hanee said after she scanned other students .
Sunghoon tightened his grip on her waist , sending electricity to Hanee as she gulped down her saliva nervously .
"I don't want to look at you"
"You'll make my heart fluttered"
Sunghoon whispered .
Hanee's cheeks turned reddish , she couldn't understand what Sunghoon said .
Sunghoon moved their bodies together , swinging them left and right softly, following the soft rhythm of the music .
He hugged Hanee as if he didn't want to let go of her . "Hanee , i want to tell you something..."
After what Jay said, Jay had punched some sense to him. He will confess his feelings to Hanee .
He broke the hug and turned Hanee's body to face him . He can clearly see her reddish cheeks even the lights are dim .
"What ?"
Hanee asked , she hold her breathes .
Sunghoon bit his bottom lips anxiously , his eyes are aiming on her lips .
Action speaks louder than words , he bent down his body to her height and leaning closer to Hanee .
Hanee was shocked and nervous at the same time , she quickly closed her eyes , waiting for what will happen .
As their lips almost touched each other , Sunghoon glance at Hanee's back and found Jake is looking at them .
He immediately pushed Hanee away , causing the girl to fall . Hanee groaned in pains while rubbing her back .
"Hanee , i'm sorry—"
Sunghoon is about to help her but Jake firstly come to Hanee and extended his hand to Hanee .
"I'm sorry for making you wait "
He said as he helped Hanee to stand up .
Sunghoon awkwardly rubbed his nape , he bet Jake saw him almost kiss Hanee .
He sighed ,
"I'll go now"
"Where are you going ?? Don't you have something to tell me ?"
Hanee stopped him by holding his sleeve .
Sunghoon look at Hanee and she is indeed right . He has something to say but those eight letters are so hard to say .
He then looked at Jake , his friend is looking at him seriously . And finally , Sunghoon yanked Hanee's hand away from his sleeve .
"Don't touch me"
Hanee was shocked by his sudden change , just a few minutes ago he became the most soft and romantic man to her and now he pushed her , again , after giving her hopes .
"I thought you want to say something to me ..." Hanee muttered , holding her wrist .
Sunghoon sighed , he look at Jake and forced himself to smile .
"Have fun with your love tonight"
He proceed his way , leaving both of them . Sunghoon didn't stop walking away even Hanee called his name multiple times .
"Shit , that jerk"
Hanee huffed , tears escape her eyes . Her heart hurt so much .She thinks Sunghoon will kiss and confess to her earlier but he just teases her .
Jake blinked his eyes several times when he saw Hanee's tears . He lost in his thought .
"Jake , i'm sorry but i need to go now"
Hanee said while wiping her tears .
"Oh , sure . I will go to Jay"
Jake give her a warm smile and see her walking out from the hall .
Hanee took out her phone and dialed someone "Heeseung , please pick me at school now"
"Now ? I thought your graduation ended 10 at night ?"
"No , just come . I'm not feeling well"
"Okay , i will go now . We should stopped by your apartment and pick up your luggages"
"Hmm , please be quick . I'll wait for you infront of the gate"
"Sure , mum is asking me when will you arrive . She cook tofu stew for you"
Hanee chuckled , Heeseung's mum is really a kind and caring woman .
"Hearing you said stew makes me hungry. Okay , i will go now"
Hanee stared at the hall again , examining her friends which are enjoying their night .
Hanee smiled ,
"My highschool story will end here"

Sunghoon brushed his hair upwards in annoyance . He punched the wall , trying to vent his anger .
"Why are you so dumb ?"
He scolded himself .
"And now , she'll think that you're teasing her feelings"
He groaned in annoyance . Sunghoon untied the bow on his neck and slammed it hard on the ground .
He unbuttoned his shirt in annoyance .
"Woah woah , hanging there mate . You aren't going to a mafia fight , are you ?" Jay and Jake approached Sunghoon .
Jake passed him a glass of orange juice , "Cool down , you look like a mess"
Sunghoon forced a smile and take the glass from Jake .
"Thank you"
He gulped down the juice and wiped his lips . Sunghoon then let out a heavy sigh .
"What are you doing here ? Aren't we suppose to have fun ?" Jay asked , breaking the silence .
"Not in a mood"
He replied shortly .
Jake wrapped his arms around Sunghoon's shoulders . He gave his friend a bright and sincere smile .
"Sunghoon , you don't have to sacrifice your own feelings for me"
Sunghoon froze , he fixed his eyes on Jake as the male smiling at him .
"Did Jay told you this ?"
Sunghoon asked .
"Hey !"
Jay yelled .
Jake laugh and shook his head ,
"The eyes can't deceive. When you and Hanee look at each other, your eyes both shine"
"When you're both together, the world seems to belong to both of you"
"You don't have to worry about me. If you're honest and admit that you have feelings for Hanee, I'll back out "
"Since Hanee loves you too , i can't stop both of you . You're mean to each other"
Sunghoon chewed his inner cheeks ,
"But , you'll get hurt"
"Jake , i love our friendship . You're my best friend and don't want you to hurt"
Jake chuckled , smacking Sunghoon's arm "Idiot , times will help me to heal"
"At the end , Hanee will never look at me just like the way she looked at you"
Jake gave him a warm smile ,
"Go to her and confess your feelings"
"Tell her how much you liked her . No , tell her how much you still likes her"
"Let her know that the times she liked you were not in vain"
"Tell her that she was loved by a person she had a crush on all along"
"You better confess your feelings to her now " Jake continued .
"Yeah , go make her yours now before i punched some sense to you" Jay exclaimed .
Sunghoon couldn't help but smile , overwhelmed with his friends . He pulled them into a group hug .
"Thank you , i'm thankful to have you guys as my friends"
Three of them laugh ,
"Go now , romeo ! Go get your girl now"
Sunghoon nodded , he then run away , leaving both Jake and Jay behind .
Sunghoon is imaging Hanee's face , smiles didn't leave his face . He can't want to confess his feelings , he can't want to hug and kiss her .
He looked for Hanee all over the school area but he could not find her. Sunghoon asked people around but they gave the same answer .
"Where is she ?"
Sunghoon muttered .
He then jogged out from the school , his eyes are shining as soon as he saw Hanee , standing infront of the gate .
"Han—"
He's about to run and call her name but Sunghoon stopped when he saw a car stopped infront of Hanee .
His eyes widened when he saw Heeseung came out from the car . Heeseung places his leather
Jacket on Hanee's shoulders .
Sunghoon's heart sanked when he saw Hanee smiling happily. Both Hanee and Heeseung smiled at each other , it makes Sunghoon feel very hurt .
Heeseung leads Hanee to the front seat as Hanee entered the car .
Sunghoon watched the car speeding away from school , they're going further and further away .
Sunghoon grabbed the hem of his tuxedo and snickered .
"Is love suppose to be hurtful ?"
"I thought she'll only has her eyes on me but she go to Heeseung ?"
Only god knows how much Sunghoon's heart hurt seeing that scene. He's about to confess his feelings but bad timing destroys everything. Misunderstandings destroy everything .
He clenched his fists tightly and lowered his gaze to the ground . Tears formed on his eyes and stream down to his cheeks .
"Why are these eight letters so hard to say? "
The rain seemed to know this was the right time to come down, Sunghoon let himself get soaked in the rain. His soul feels very heavy now .
He forced a smile ,
"Okay , i will let you go"
"Heeseung is a nice guy so he'll treat you well"
Sunghoon looked up to the night sky as rains hit his face .
"I will always wait for you , Jung Hanee"
"I hope you'll be happy"
