Narrator's POV
"Now i can feel at peace ,Its her turn next" the elder one said ..
"When is that going to be? I really want to get this off my shoulder and sleep a night of relief.." he said as he stretched his arms...
"Hyung lets stop here." The younger one spoke
"What?" The elder one couldn't believe his ears
"Yes i cant do this anymore."
"Why not?" The elder one asked but the younger one chose to stay silent.
"Did you forget what happened because of them , did you forget how are little happy family was ruined because of them?"
"I havent ! I haven't." The younger one raised his voice before continuing "but i cant do this to her." His voice broke..
"Why not? We are so close in achieving our goal"
"I dont want this anymore."
"But why?" The elder one held the younger one's shoulders and asked..
"I cant see her like this! My heart hurts to see her like this? I - hyung i , i dont know whats wrong with me ? The way she clung to me and cried , my heart felt like breaking , her sobs and her screams were too much for my ears, i couldn't take it ."
*slap* the elder one has had enough
"Dont you dare fall for her" he said
"I - i cant help it ." His voice broke
"What? Dont you remember what they did to us?"
"Dad? Mom? Our family ? Dont you remember what happened? Have you forgotten the cries of mom? The cries of our sister??" He pointed towards their sister who stood by the window quietly.
Even her happy expressions had now turned to those of anger as she looked at him with fury..
"I do but this— i just cant." His mind was in a state of turmoil, he didnt know how to answer his elder brother..
He knew he was right and how all of their happiness was snatched from them , but a part of him just didn't want to do this..
He held the part of his shirt which was soaked from her tears as scene from earlier flashed in his mind..
Uptil now he had done everything with his other 2 siblings confidently and without any regret but today he couldn't see Y/n crying , he just couldn't .

Y/N's POV
Today was mom's funeral day , Oppa had arrived in the morning, after that , we both cried alot together while sitting in mom's room and remembering all our moments with mom.
Oppa shed silent tears as yoongi shi consoled him..
I on the other hand didnt shed a single tear , i had cried so much that you could say i was out of tears now .
Almost everyone we knew was here , Dr kim Seokjin ; my mother's psychiatrist was here too , Namjoon sunbae and Rika were here too , taehyung probably told them...
"Y/n."
i looked at taehyung who sat beside me on the bench.
"I told them."
"Yea."
He was talking about Namjoon sunbae and Rika but then a weird question appeared in my mind.
"How did you know?"
"Huh?" He asked confused..
"I mean who told you about my mom last night?"
Who told him? There was just me and Yoongi-shi , yoongi- shi can't probably know taehyung..
right?
"I - I was trying to contact you but you didn't pick up your phone so i was worried."
I quickly took out my phone but there were no missed calls .
"But there are no missed calls." I asked him confused
"Really? Probably because of bad signals since it rained alot last night." He answered as i nodded..
"Y/n ." Came running jimin followed by Jungkook.
"I heard about your mom from jungkook , i am so sorry." He said as he expressed his condolences.
The funeral started and finished shortly as everyone expressed their condolences with us , i could see Oppa talking to Yoongi-shi with a serious expression , i couldn't help but be curious about what they were talking about.
"Hey!"
"Jungkook?"
"How are you? Did you eat?" He asked
"Dont feel like eating.."
"Come on dont be like this ." He said in his deep voice as he held my hand .
His hands were big and warm , his eyes showing worry and concern for me .
"You are just going to worry your brother more this way .." he said as he kept his hand on one of my cheek and caressed it " i am sure your mom wouldn't have liked it either , right?" He said as he looked deep into my eyes.
Wait a minute?
Should i ask him too?
No ! No
My mind is just playing stupid games with me ..
Oh God y/n why are you thinking like this?
"Umm jungkook?"
"Yea."
"Did yoongi-shi tell you about my mother yesterday?"
"Hm?? Yea yea." He answered
"Why you ask?"
"No i am just wondering that you live so far away from my house , yet you were able to get their quickly."
"actually i was already up at that time studying so when hyung called me , i was already up and was able to arrive quick." He answered to which i nodded
Stop it y/n , why are you doubting everyone?
I mentally slapped myself...
Would jungkook ever go this far ?

Back at house
"Y/n?" I heard my brother call me from downstairs..
"Coming?" I answered as i kept my mom's picture frame back on my side table and wiped the tears that had been falling from my eyes.
"Yes?" Oppa was sitting on the sofa and Yoongi-shi was with him , they both held a serious expression in their eyes..
"Whats wrong? Is everything alright?" I asked
"Yea , dont worry." My brother said
"The thing is that with Mom gone i cant help but worry for you." He said as he held my hand before continuing " I cant just leave work over there and neither can i call you over back to Bangkok now that you have already adjusted here and i dont want to disturb your studies so.." he paused for , looked towards Yoongi-shi and spoke...
"I want you to marry Yoongi."
"Huh?" I stood up from my place..
"Oppa is this some kind of a joke?" I asked , Oppa stood up , held me by my shoulders and continued to speak while Yoongi-shi remained silent.
"Listen to me , i know that all of this is so sudden but i cant help but worry , i might have to leave again within a week or so , if i leave you like this i wont be able to work and concentrate, i cant leave you like this y/n , i cant ! Before i leave for Bangkok again , i want you to get engaged."
"But Oppa ... Hey Yoongi-shi why aren't you saying anything?" I asked him but he remained silent..
"Oppa i don't even know him properly and neither does he , how can i just marry him?"
"So who is telling you to marry now? Just get engaged , get to know each other and then you can marry plus Yoongi is my best friend, with him as your partner, i would be at ease at all times, i know he will take care of you , no one can be a better suitor for you than him."
"Oppa but-."
"Y/n !!, no butts anymore , this is my decision now and thats final." And with that he left..
"Listen y/n..."
"How could you possibly agree to this yoongi-shi?"
"I—." Before he could say anything, i stormed off back to my room..
