Anika came inside Shivaay's cabin hurriedly and closed the door with a thud. Looking strong in front of people is very different. Especially with those people who forced you to think before believing people.
Anika looked towards the glass placed on Shivaay's table and drank it in a go
"Relax Anika. Even if he got to know you should stay strong he can't do anything as he was at mistake not you", thought Anika and jerked when she heard the opening sound of the door but exhaled breath after noticing Shivaay
"What happened? Why are you scared like you saw a ghost? Is not it obvious that I will come here?", he asked and giggled at last
"I know it's just you came so suddenly so I was scared. Did your meeting finished?", asked Anika
"No I noticed one file is missing so came to take that", he replied and was about to go from there when Anika stopped him
"Shivaay... Can you do one favour?", Asked Anika when Shivaay turned. Shivaay hummed and looked at his watch to see whether he is getting late or not. Anika noticed this and replied
"I want to stay alone here so don't let anyone come inside. I will close the door so don't let anyone come here ", requested Anika and passed a fake smile to him
"Sure but why? I mean are you fine?", He asked with concern. He looked towards the door when he heard Khanna's voice who was calling him for a meeting
"Yes, I am fine just want to stay alone. You should go best of luck", she said with a warm smile. Shivaay nodded and left from there. He thinks that he doesn't have any right to question her when she doesn't want to tell him the real problem.
"Thank you", he said before leaving. Anika sighed in relief when he left and closed the door of his cabin. She checked the door once again to check whether it is locked or not. After satisfaction, she sat on the chair and called Gauri
Phone conversation
Gauri: Hii di. How are you?
Anika: Hloo Gauri. I am fine what about you all? How are you? Are you guys missing me? I miss you all a lot
Asked Anika in a hard voice. She can look happy in front of others but not in front of her siblings who are her life. She is finding it difficult to live with Shivaay. Before she thought it is easy to live with him but it is not easy to live in an environment which is the opposite. Where you can't shout loud like a child, where you can behave like you are
Gauri: we all are fine but we are missing you a lot. Without you, this house seems empty. Priyanka bhabhi is nice but di.. how we will live when they will go out? ... How I will live without you? Requested Gauri in a heavy voice. She tried hard to look normal but she can't look normal when her sister left them.. their morning used to start with Anika's shout but today they didn't hear that. Every time they tease each other but from now on they will meet each other like guests. This harsh reality is eating them

Asked Anika in a heavy voice. She drank water and concentrated on her mobile phone. She tucked her hair strand aside which started irritating her
Gauri: let him. Shivaay jiju is not like him he just knows how to insult someone and force someone. Come here for some days till he is there, please
Requested Gauri. She wants to see Anika again. She want to hug Anika and console her that everything is fine but Anika denied
Anika: sorry Gauri... I can't now I am married na.. leave it I will handle him myself. It is difficult but not impossible. Don't worry Gauri I will video call you after reaching home
Gauri: Han that is the last option hana... Like we do with relatives
Said Gauri with tears. Anika looked down and started crying again. She knows it is difficult for them to accept the new world for a few months. Anika kept mum and cupped her mouth to control her sobbing
"Anika", Anika heard Shivaay's voice and immediately wiped her tears and opened the door after wiping her tears totally
"You took much time to open the door. Were you sleeping?", asked Shivaay. Anika was about to answer when they heard Gauri's voice
Gauri: Dii ok I understand but will you come here when Daksh will go out with bhabhi?
When Shivaay heard it he left bad and looked towards Anika who hurriedly picked up her mobile phone. He noticed Anika's sad face as well as her tear marks
Anika: I will talk to you later
She said to Gauri and turned towards Shivaay who snatched her mobile phone
Shivaay: Gauri even you can visit Oberoi mansion anytime. And when Daksh will go you can stay here if you are comfortable
He replied staring at Anika who was looking here and there.
Gauri: thank you jiju. See you later byee
Said Gauri and declined the call. Shivaay placed her mobile phone aside and looked toward Anika.
"H...how was your meeting?", asked Anika when she sensed his constant stare at her. She looked here and there as her eyes are welling again because of her conversation with Gauri.
"Nice. By the way, if you want you can go there ", he said. Anika looked towards him when he said this as she heard boys don't let girls visit her home daily but he is asking her bluntly
"It's fine", replied Anika. She knows she can't run from her responsibilities after marriage. Most importantly she is the elder daughter-in-law of this house. She can't go like this
"It doesn't seem like. You can share with me.. or with someone else if not me", he said awkwardly as he know she is missing her family. Even Anika knows that he guessed it but both are not getting words to ask each other
"It's not like that. Have your seat", she said and gave him way towards his seat. Shivaay didn't move from his place. Instead, he helped Anika to sit on the chair
Anika just then remembered something and asked
"Shivaay didn't you check my resume? I mean did you hire me after checking my resume or just gave me a job because I was going to marry you?", Anika asked in confusion. Her other motive was to divert the old topic too because don't want to talk about her family with Shivaay.
"No. I was going to but then thought to know you myself. I loved your designs so thought to hire you. And we married in hurry so didn't get much time to check that", he said. Anika nodded and held his hand as he was holding her shoulders. Anika gestured him to bend like her through her eyes. When he bent in front of her she took a deep breath to calm herself. She doesn't want to show herself desperate for him but this time she needs his support too
"I can understand that. I am happy that you agreed with my choices. Thank you so much. I am very lucky to get a person like you. Not every man are same. We should trust ourselves too. You are the best person I met till now this is my opinion after knowing you. Now tell me do you think the same? Do you trust me?", Asked Anika. She guessed that he is stopping himself to go close to her because of his past. She has to make him believe in himself before he believes in love
"Yes, I trust you. Regarding you so yes I think the same. You are also a very nice girl. I met many girls but never liked someone's personality as I loved yours. Regarding men so I don't know if every boy is different or not. Neither I want to know because people forget everything when they see beautiful things. Like they forget old things after getting new", he replied as per his thinking. Anika smiled hearing his reply. He is a genuine person who respects everyone which is impressing her from the time she met him
