"My mother was forced into an arranged marriage with my father all for the prestige of her family supposedly 'marrying into the wealthy class'". Todoroki started, a frown pulling at his lips.

"I don't know if they ever loved each other at any point in their lives, or at least before I came along" The alpha muttered, instinctively reaching to pull Midoriya into his lap.

"My siblings are betas all except my oldest brother, Toya. Because he presented as an alpha and was the first born, my father thought Toya would be perfect to take over the family business and keep whatever legacy it had going"

"For three years I was barely ever able to see or spend time with Toya and after he presented it was almost like he didn't even exist with how much our father kept him busy. Even with everything that man piled on top of him though, Toya always seemed to manage to take a few minutes every week to check up on me, probably because he knew no one else would"

An involuntary whine left Midoriya's throat at the thought of one of his alphas being neglected as a child.

Todoroki huffed as a small smile graced his lips. "Let me finish my story" the alpha chuckled slightly at Midoriya's puppy dog eyes as he leaned forward to kiss the greenette's forehead.

"Despite the distance, I was closer to Toya than either of my other siblings. He and I were like the odd ones out in our family. We resemble our father too much for our mother's liking so she ignored us in favor of our other two siblings."

"I think in the end it all just became too much for her, the pressure of being married to my father and having four kids. She snapped one day and I just happened to be in her way"

Dread filled the green haired omega as he looked up at his alpha, tears beginning to fill his eyes as he brought a hand up to gently cup the left side of the alphas face.

"Hey, don't do that. Don't cry. I'm right here and perfectly fine" Todoroki tried to comfort, tightening his arms around Midoriya.

"But they hurt you," Midoriya whispered past the lump in his throat. "Their supposed to love you and they hurt you"

Todoroki couldn't help himself. He was so astounded by the genuine concern in his omegas eyes, the love hidden behind his gestures.

The alpha leaned down to capture the omegas lips with his own.

"I don't know how we could be so lucky to have ended up with you" Todoroki smiled as he kissed Midoriya sweetly once more.

A soft purr vibrates from Midoriya while he cuddles closer to his alpha, silently encouraging the other to continue if he wishes.

"I think pretty much everyone in my family has had a moment where they snapped. My parents, my sister, my brothers even myself"

"Is that why you were taken here? Because you snapped and someone called about you?" Midoriya asked.

"In a way," Todoroki answered, his voice seeming to get smaller and smaller with every word. "But, instead of snapping like the rest of my family, I think I broke"

"What, how?" Midoriya whimpered, watching as the alphas' eyes grew slightly distant.

"A-After I had turned 15," the alpha started, stuttering slightly, "Toya started to really rebel against f-father. H-He dyed his hair and covered himself in tattoos and piercings. I think he was trying to put some sort of distance between himself and the rest of us"

"I think that's probably why my family seemed so broken. Everyone was just trying to distance themselves without making it obvious. Toya didn't care for that though and made it very obvious. After a few months it became too much for our father. Toya was supposed to be his successor and when Roya decided he didn't want anything to do with it anymore, father started to get on me for picking up my brother's slack. It wasn't long though before he decided I just wasn't cutting it and father began to fall apart"

Suddenly Todoroki was closing his eyes and bowing his head so far forward that his forehead rested against Midoriya's shoulder.

"Midoriya? Do you remember when we all told you why we were here? Do you remember what I said?" Todoroki asked quietly, his voice slowly slipping into the cold and unemotional tone he always used to have.

"N-No, I don't. I'm sorry" the omega apologized. He couldn't really remember much from his first week. A lot of it was fuzzy because everything was so new and so scary. He could tell though from the controlled, faint scent of the alpha that his lack of memory was a bit frustrating.

The alpha sighed before burying his face deeper into the crook of Midoriya's neck, his arms wrapping tighter around his omega.

"When my father finally had enough, he didn't internalize it like the rest of us did. Funny how both my parents shared the one trait. Probably the only thing they shared." Todoroki breathed deeply before continuing

"A few days before I was thrown away here, my father had to leave for some business thing. Toya thought this would be the perfect opportunity to play a prank on father, so once he left he called one of his friends to come over. I don't know who he had called over, we were never introduced but I knew he was an alpha"

"When father came home, I can only guess at what he found. I assume that the two were something less than decent in the living room based on what my father was shouting. When I finally gathered enough courage to come down, I-I-"

Midoriya startled when he felt his shoulder sleeve start to grow damp. The omega instinctively started to release a calming scent into the air to try and comfort the alpha, tugging the man holding him even closer.

"T-todo-"

"I-I was too late. I-I just s-stood there and, and watched as he t-threw a lamp and T-Toya just fell. He fell, he crumpled to the ground l-like a piece of paper and he wouldn't get up, he just laid there, bleeding and b-barely breathing"

"That man had gone feral a-and once he saw Toya w-wasn't getting up again he finally faced me. I-I tried to run, to call out for N-Natsuo o-or Fuyumi but he wouldn't let me leave. Th-The last thing I remember was the feeling of my claws elongating before I blacked out. I-I can't remember a single thing, but w-when I woke up all I could see was blood. The only thing I could see was r-red"

Midoriya couldn't believe what he was hearing. His alpha was hurting so, so much, from his past and now into the present. Has no one tried to help him? Midoriya thought as he struggled to process all this new information about the bi-toned alpha.

Wait a minute, did Todoroki actually kill his dad?

"Todoroki-" Midoriya started but was immediately cut off.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I never meant to, I don't even know what I did but I'm so so sorry! If I could take it back I would, I never wanted to hurt him, I never wanted him to leave us in such a way" the alpha sobbed, his breathing growing harsher and more stilted as he continued crying.

Midoriya was at a loss, he didn't know what to do as he cradled the alphas head buried in his scent gland.

Midoriya knew that he couldn't blame Todoroki for his actions, he obviously regretted them and from Izuku could gather, Todoroki had no control over what he did because of his having alpha taken over and more than likely gone feral.

All he could think to do was to just hold the trembling man in his arms and comfort him as best he could, that is why he was there after all.

As gently and as smoothly as he could, the omega leaned backwards, taking the alpha with him until he was laying on his back in the old nest with Todoroki on top of him.

Midoriya ran his fingers through the two-toned hair as he continued to fill the air with gentle lavender and cedar wood.

Soon enough the alpha calmed down so he wasn't near hyperventilating anymore. Tears control the stream from his eyes, the only sounds he would make were the occasional sniffle or labored breaths.

Midoriya had never seen an alpha exhibit such emotion before, especially in the presence of others, the greenery could help but feel a glimmer of pride at having so much of this alpha trust that he felt he could show weakness in front of him.

"Todoroki?" Midoriya asked.

"Shoto, I-I would like it if you could call me Shoto" The alpha requested quietly, nose still buried in Midoriya's neck.

"Shoto" the omega whispered to himself, testing the name on his tongue.

"When my two siblings took me here, my beginnings were probably similar to yours. All sorts of tests where they poke and prod at you. There's no sense of privacy or personal space and certainly no respect for those who actually need real help with going through things"

Todoroki stated, his tone slipping back into where far less emotions ever dare to make an appearance.

"They force us into situations where our alphas are forced to make an appearance. They purposely induce a feral state of mind onto us so they have a reason to keep us here longer. So that they can keep running tests and experiments on us because they know no one will stop them"

At this point Todoroki was breathing heavily from poorly veiled anger, clutching onto the omega beneath him like a lifeline, like the greenette was the only thing keeping him sane at the moment, which probably wasn't too far from reality.

Izuku couldn't do anything but let it happen. He let the alpha vent everything to him with a patient ear. He did his best to help keep the alpha calm with his pheromones as well purring silently for him. All the while, the omega was struggling to hold back his own tears.

This is what his four alphas had to live through. This was their lives, full of torture and sadness and loneliness. Midoriya couldn't help but be silently grateful they all found each other. He couldn't imagine his alphas having to deal with all of this by themselves, they probably wouldn't even still be here.

So, he did the only thing he knew he could do. He gently rolled onto his side, taking to alpha with him as he dragged over an old blanket to cover the both of them.

His heart broke that much more when he looked down to see the alphas' heterochromatic eyes glistening again, tears building up just to fall over.

Midoriya woke up an undefined amount of time later, wrapped in his alphas scent and buried under a large, warm blanket.

The memory of the last few hours slowly returned as he snuggled closer to the arms holding him possessively.

He couldn't remember falling asleep but he's happy that nothing negative came from it happening.

Taking a deep breath, the omega was relieved at the absence of distressed alpha pheromones in the air.

Izuku sleepily opened his eyes to see beautiful blue and grey looking back at him. The greenette smiled softly at the sight.

"How are you doing?" The omega mumbled, brushing a hand through the red and white strands.

"I'm better now, thank you" Shoto said as he leaned forward to place his lips on the greenettes forehead.

"Thank you for telling me all that you did. I know it couldn't have been easy, but I feel honored all the same to know that you trust me enough to share your feelings" Midoriya expressed.

Todoroki smiled as he responded," Thank you for listening. I just hope that I didn't inadvertently add to your own struggles, please know that wasn't my intent at all-"

The omega interrupted him with a sweet kid, conveying just how much he didn't mind through the touch of their lips.

Todoroki hummed appreciatively as they pulled away, keeping the omega close in his embrace.

"We should provably be heading back. The others are probably wondering where we are if not already out of my searching" the alpha said after a little bit.

Nodding, Midoriya and Todoroki stood up. Looking around the quant nest room, Izuku couldn't help but ask, "do you think I might be able to take a couple things back to the den?"

"You can have as much as you like as long as we can fit in our arms" Shoto responded.

Happily Izuku gathered some of the softer blankets - a thick one and two thin ones - as well as a box that looked as though it's contents consisted of fracturing materials.

Soon enough the two were headed back with their arms full of nesting materials.

The walk was nice. Silent but not uncomfortably so, it was perfect between the two of them.

When they finally walked through the familiar door, they were greeted with the other alphas rushing to see them at the door.

Midoriya was quickly swept up in a hug from Kirishima who refused to put him down, not that Midoriya much wanted to be put down anyway.

"I was starting to get worried! Where did the two of you go that took so long?" Kirishima asked as he hiked the omega up so he was holding him underneath his thighs, guiding the omega to wrap his legs around his waist and arms around his neck.

"Ah, Kirishima!" Midoriya exclaimed at the unexpected motions, grabbing onto the ravenettes shoulders for dear life.

"Should I put these by your nest?" Todoroki asked Midoriya, gesturing to the cabinet at the other end of the room.

"Oh, yes please! Thank you!" the greenette smiled, twisting in Kirishima's arms so he could see the other alpha.

Midoriya sighed, smiling as he laid his cheek on top of Kirishima's head. He purred when he felt Shinso brush a finger down the curve of his nose before resting his palm at the base of his jaw.

Lifting his head slightly, MIdoriya looked around the room. Something was missing, or rather, someone.

"Where is Kacchan?"
