I was staring at the brown door in front of me, so many memories came from this house and now none of them mattered, it was just her and I needed to talk to my best friend alone.
I took a deep breath and raised my hand to knock but the door immediately opened in my face with Elena on the other side.
Her eyes grew wide and I smiled with pain in my eyes. She looked awful...her eyes were puffy of crying and her face was pale, she was in her sleeping dress probably coming to the door to pick up the news paper or something, though even in that look I had to admit that I missed her so much.
+ Elena I....
I tried to talk but she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me to her, sobbing on my shoulder hard as I patted her back trying to comfort her. She sobbed for almost a good ten minutes then she stepped back and guided me inside quietly.

We talked about everything happened these past two months and she explained me how Klaus killed aunt Jenna with no mercy. I was breathing hard when I was taking to her about Kol and damon. She was the only one I knew give me advice with no judging.
She listened carefully then thought for a minute before started talking.
+ Look y/n ...I think you're right, I mean, I hate Klaus but maybe his brother is better, you know him and I trust you so if I were you I'd choose my love.
I nodded, she was really my best friend. I was right about choosing her for a good pep talk.
I hugged her again and kissed her cheek then I got myself out before facing Jeremy and probably hear things about how he hate vampires.
I was going to get home but I saw someone in front of the Gilbert's house.
- hello love.
He said with a British accent and a little smirk corner of his lips. There's no way I saw a smirk like that and couldn't recognize it. It was like a family legacy.
+ Klaus...
I said quietly.
- so...you heard my name. Fantastic
He said while he walked closer. He was wearing a lather jacket and had the face that maybe scared all of the city with until now.
+ I would like to invite you for a glass of wine but I really need to go...if you excuse me.
I tried to leave but he grabbed my wrist hardly that hurt but I didn't show it, he slowly whispered to my ear, I could've sense his warm breath on my skin.
- love, I heard your conversation with my little doppelganger....tell my dear brother to show himself or I'll kill his beautiful girlfriend there's no Elijah anymore to protect he's ass from me.
I felt rage in my blood...I wouldn't get pissed If he threatened me but I can't stand someone threatening my beloved ones, plus there's no Elijah anymore? Kol is gonna be devastated.
I put my wrist out of his hand with fight tricks Kol Taught me then I gave him a real bad headache with a spell that he fell to his knees beside me, suffering in pain.
+ I don't care if you're a hybrid or real devil cuz I'm a hybrid too and I should say Klaus don't ever threaten my dear ones again or next time I will use all of my energy to take you down no matter what. I don't know what you did to your own brother but I got to say, I'm here now and I can be your worst nightmare so better watch your steps everywhere you go. I'm not like the others you met, next time you try to hurt someone I love I'll kill you with a snap of my finger.
I let him go and vampsped away to my own house before he can stand up again... I should find Kol I have to talk to him.

I was sitting in my bed trying to use a finding spell. I said the words in Latin and within a second the blood on my map started to move to some location outside of the town.
I picked up the map and tried to get out but I saw Damon pale and sweaty on the couch. I was going to help him but stopped when I remembered our sweet conversation before. His shit is not on my business now so I let myself out without caring even a little bit.
I went to the location marked on the map and saw a regular house in the middle of, well, basically nowhere. God this boy is in love with wild land houses.
I knocked and he opened the door one minute later. I smiled when I saw his surprised face.
+ Miss me?
I asked playfully, within a second he pulled me to his self, pressed me to his chest hard while he was smelling my hair.
- I thought I never gonna see you again.
I pulled back a little and moved my lips to him in a sweet kind of way.
+ Never say that again...
I said smiling wide.
he let me in, guided me to a little comfortable brown couch in the living room. The house was so tiny probably with only one bedroom but it was cute although it didn't have so many furniture. Sure if you want no one to find you buying a castle is not a great idea.
I sat on the couch and he sat beside me grabbing my hand.
- how did you find me?
He asked. Circling the top of my hand with his thumb.
+ umm...Hello? last Time I checked I was still a witch.
he chuckled a little.
- yes...of course you are.
I sighed deeply, I should tell him now, sooner is better.
+ I need to talk to you.
I said seriously with concern in my eyes.
- what happened?
He asked moving closer to me.
+ I saw Klaus this morning...
He didn't let me finish.
- did he hurt you?
He asked aggressively, jumping from the couch, really hot headed. My hand was still between his so I used it to stop him and I shook my head before he try to leave.
+ No he couldn't...honey relax.
He sighed and sit beside me again.
- sorry darling, it's just, he's too dangerous.
I nodded, yes, unfortunately we met.
+ Kol he...he said Elijah is not here to protect you anymore...
I said and he let go of my hand hiding his face with his palms.
I thought now or later I should say this so I took a deep breath and continued.
+ He said...you should show yourself...if you don't he would kill me.
I said quietly, not because I wanted him to go and show his self, I'm not scared of Klaus but I said it cuz I thought he needed to know.
he tried to stand up but I hold his hand fearfully. I have learn him later, People should think before acting.
+ what the hell are you doing?
He kissed the top of my hands when I stood up in front of him.
- Darling I have to go...I have to show him myself do you think he would let you go if I don't? You don't know him you don't know what's he capable to do if I don't listen to him he would kill you...I can't lose you y/n I just can't lose you ....
I kissed him passionately to shut him up he kissed me back a moment later while raising his fingers to the back of my head.
I pulled back a little and stared to his eyes.
+ Kol I'm not some dumb Human
girl...I'm powerful...I'm a witch/vampire for God's sake. I will protect you myself if I have to ...even if he tries to kill me I will never let him to hurt you.
I said calmly while caressing his cheek.
He nodded and kissed my forehead deeply.
- I know you darling but I can't stand the idea of losing you, really, if he does something to you because of me I'll kill him with my own hands.
I smiled and pressed my head to his chest smelling the special cologne of him.
- by the way if you shut me up with your kisses one more time I swear to God I will grab your ass and take you to my room and show you a lesson.
+ Is that suppose to be a threat?
I asked playfully and he came closer.
- oh really?
I raised one eyebrow while he tried to kiss me one more time but my phone started ringing. When I came back home this morning I saw my phone on the counter still half charged so I picked it up and put it in my pocket, now I'm regretting it, of course it rings, it's always is, just in the best moment.
I sighed and answered annoyingly.
+ What?
It was Elena...she started talking too fast and crying that I didn't heard the most of her words.
+ Elena... Elena calm down what do you mean a werewolf bites Damon and where's Stefan again?
I asked calmly, Kol was watching me with concern. she took a deep breath then explained me again word by word.
When I realized what was she talking about tears filled my eyes again. Not Klaus...not my brother...true I was angry but I never ever wanted Damon to die, he's my family. I sighed and pulled my tears back, now it's not the time for crying.
Kol was beside me patting my shoulders I'm sure he listened to my conversation with Elena, he didn't know what was I thinking about or he would lock me up in his house never letting me go.
+ Elena... I'll fix this ok?
I said fast and hung up before she could talk, time is precious now.
I turned to face Kol he was looking at me with worried eyes, he knew what my family meant to me.
- I'm sorry...
He said and I kissed his lips passionately.
+ I'm sorry too...
He pressed his forehead to mine, I closed my eyes, trying to record this moment in my head for ever.
+ Kol promise me something.
- anything
He said whispering.
+ To take me back no matter what.
- wha...?
He tried to ask but I wrapped my palms around his neck and broke it roughly. He fell on the ground Unconsciously.
I knelt down and kissed his cheek, Please take me back. I'm gonna need you more than anyone there.
I left the house to Klaus' house...I should make a deal.
