"Yo june! Look at this trick i saw on the internet last might" I said loudly as not only june was watching but everyone else too. I was standing on a skateboard that I found under the bench that looked like it was forgotten by the owner.
The team were hanging out for the night and we already had dinner at the hospital with minu and now that visiting time was over we all went out and decided to walk around the city carrying overprized drinks from a random cafe for the vibe. We were at the park and everyone is either sitting down or standing in a cirlce. Vinny and owen each leaning on a lightpole and jay and shelly on the bench in the middle of the lightpoles as dom and june were standing. Yuna and mia on a different bench across from jay and shelly. And I was at the middle.
"Y/n I still think it's a bit dangerous for you to just randomly ride a skateboard" she said.
"I agree with her" yuna said as I started laughing.
"Chill guys I saw this on the internet and it looks so easy so don't worry about it" I said.
"Yeah that's the problem because sometimes it looks easy on the internet but hard to do in real life" june said with a warm smile.
"Yeah bro what if you trip?" Dom said.
"I told you guys I won't trip" I said crossing my arms.
"Yeah sure" owen said as I just stick my tongue out.
"Just watch and learn boys" I said as I looked at all of them.
Yuna and mia both looked worried. Jay was looking uninterested as well as vinny. Dom was looking expectantly at me. Owen was looking at me like he was waiting for me to trip as well as shelly. June was getting ready in case I would trip. Jeez I told them this was easy.
I jumped and the skateboard also flew up with me as I twisted my feet so the skateboard would spin and as expected the skateboard spinned and I realized my mistake when I noticed I was landing back on the floor and the skateboard was still facing the floor instead of facing the way that I was supposed to be stepping on. I landed on the upside down board, specifically the wheel and my foot slipped and I crashed on the floor. My knees scraping the floor.
"EPIC FAIL!" Dom yelled before he was lightly punched by yuna.
"Oops" I said casually as mia and june immediately got over me.
"See I told you she would trip" shelly said. I looked over to see everyone except vinny and jay were laughing. Well vinny was smirking but still.
June set me on the bench as I looked at my knees that were scraped a little.
"Jeez I thought I made it" I said.
"Almost y/n you almost made it" owen said as I laughed.
"Don't worry dude you were still cool" dom said before giving me a fist bump.
Mia poured some water over my knees as I lightly hissed.
"It hurts huh? That's what happens when you do something stupid" yuna said as they all laughed again.
"Nice try tho" shelly said as I just laughed at my stupid mistake.
Everyone then had a long conversation about bikes and their lives and Occasionally teasing each other and I could seriously feel the team warming up to each other and it felt great.
I felt my knees get a little better as I stood up again just as the team got silent. It was a bit the awkward type of silent so I decided to spice it up a bit.
"Hey guys wanna see another trick?" I said with my hands on my waist as everyone groaned.
"Oh no not after what happened" yuna said as they all started saying how I should just sit back down. I went to the skateboard but owen beat me to it.
"That's enough skateboard for you" he said as he picked up the skateboard and placed it on the floor away from me.
"Aww but I wanted to use it on the way home because my knees hurt when I walk" I said.
"Then I'll carry you. Easy" he said before leaning back on the pole.
"Ok fine" I said as I went to the bench and sat again.
I looked at everyone to see them watching is with shocked expressions. Shelly and june had a smirk as everyone else was still processing what just happened.
"Anyway...." Dom awkwardly said as everyone else got back to normal before another conversation happened.

"Me, mia and dom are heading this way" yuna said as we were all standing up.
"Well we're heading this way" june said as he stood next to vinny.
Everyone exchanged goodbyes before they left leaving me with shelly, jay and owen.
"My apartment is right next to shelly's so yeah we're going together" I said to the three of them.
"Good" owen said as he was now standing next to me. He was so tall that it made me look like his daughter or something.
"Jay I guess you should sleep in my house for the night, I promise my grandpa is busy so he won't notice anything" she said as I coughed.
"Oho no not that, God no" shelly said as I just laughed.
"Don't worry I know you guys won't do stuff" I said as we started walking.
We were walking in two as jay and shelly were infront.
Without waring owen kneeled infront of me, his back facing my confused form which made us stop walking as shelly and jay were slowly getting farther. Yeah totally not in their own world oh right.
"Um owen? What are you doing?" I asked him as he just looked back at me then smirked.
"Just stop talking and climb on" he said softly as I felt my face started blushing. I never thought he was actually serious about carrying me and I was in for it.
"I...." I was struggling to say a word because this is owen we're talking about. A foreigner who looked really hot like shelly, tall like a light pole, has a weird and dark humor, and a legitimate professional cyclist. What did I do to deserve something like this from him?
"Trust me, I won't drop you" he said as I sighed before hopping on his back. I secured my arms around his neck as I rested my head next to his as his hands were on my thigh so that I won't fall.
"There we go~" he said as he stood up. A small shriek escaping my mouth after seeing how high I was from the floor.
"Wow this is higher than I expected" I said as my grip on him tightened. I calmed down as I finally adjusted to the height.
"Now hold on tight" he said as he prepared himself.
"For what-" I couldn't finish before he started running and it was so hectic. I screamed at first before I started laughing as he did too.
"There they are!" I said pointing to jay and shelly who turned to a corner.
He made a turn and ran in the middle of the both of them before stopping infront of them.
"Finally" I said as we both started laughing again before he started walking, this time with jay and shelly.
"Finally" shelly said as if a heavy sack dropped from her shoulders.
"Finally what?" I said as she immediately covered her shocked face.
"nothing" she said as I felt owen grip on me tighten.
"Race you at the apartment!" He suddenly yelled before he started running away from both of them. We were a block away from them before he started slowing down.
"Y/n what place would you recommend on for a date?" He said. I processed his question for a second. For a date? With who?
"Well the aquarium is like the perfect place to have a date. That's my personal opinion. It also depends like if she wants flowers and stuff then take her to the garden or if she wants a nice view then take her to a mountain view. You get what I'm saying" I said.
"Well since you like fishes alright the aquarium it is" he said in a happy tone as I was left dumbfounded yet again.
"Wait why are you basing it on me? What if she doesn't like it?" I said as he just laughed.
"Hey what's so funny?" I asked as he just kept on laughing. He calmed down before he asked again.
"You love fishes right?" He asked.
"Well yeah they're my favorite things on earth" I said.
"Good then that means you have to get ready at 9:00 tomorrow and you'll go there with me" he said.
I gasped as owen chuckled hearing my reaction.
"Are you serious??" I asked not really believing this was happening.
"It's a date" he said confirming all my thoughts.
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe it!" I said as he just laughed.
"It's real I promise" he said as we arrived at the apartment block.
He gently kneeled down as I carefully climbed down his back.
"Thank you for carrying me here owen" I said as I looked at him who was towering over my small figure.
"Anything for you y/n" he said so softly that I swear I couldn't hear it if I wasn't attentive.
"Oh I can't wait for tomorrow, I already booked and payed for the fees" he said with confidence.
"Really? How did you know I wanted to go there?" I said surprised.
"I asked everyone and everyone except vinny and jay said the aquarium, well dom said in a horror house but I'm sure he was joking" he said as I laughed.
"All of that for a place to take me at? Anything would be great as long as you're with me you know. I really enjoy your company, it's never awkward and you really bring out the child in me" I said as he extended his hand as he pulled me in a tight hug.
"Because of you I don't even wanna go back to england because I know you're not gonna be there. I love being with you because you make me really happy and I just like you so much" he said.
I hugged him even tighter before we both pulled out as we heard footsteps coming.
"Don't need to hide it guys, I shipped you since you two started staring at each other when you guys first met, right jay?" She said as jay just shrugged.
"We're going on a date tomorrow" owen said as he held my hand and showed it to shelly.
"Finally!" She said before she hugged the both of us.
It was getting late.
"You know, I guess that skateboard trick wasn't such an epic fail afterall huh?" I said as owen chuckled.
"It was worth it" he said as he caressed my hand.
"Now it's time for you to go now, see you tomorrow" I said referring to next door to where he was staying.
"Sure, see you tomorrow y/n" he said as he leaned in and kissed my forehead.
We bid our goodbyes before we went in our separate apartment rooms to get some sleep.
I started squeeling and jumping aroung my room at the thought of me and owen having a real life couple date! I fangirled a few more before I finally slept.
