"Ari!" I hear Joelle yell
"Hold on babe I'll be back" I told Mario
He nodded his head and I walked out my room and went into Joelles.
"What you want?" I ask sitting on her bed
"Can you help me with my homework, I seriously can't wait to graduate" she groans
"Girl I barely passed high school myself, lemme see the paper" I hold my hand out
"Ouu girl this shit do look hard, yo mama was the smartest out of the two of us" I say and we both laugh
"I bet she was amazing" she smiles
"She was, I'm glad you let me talk about her Zola won't even let me say her name" I say
"I wanna hear every story of her it makes me feel closer to her, and Zola will come around this is just how she deals with things" she smiles
I smile and look back at the paper I helped her the best I could, Joelle was always the one who was curious about her mom (Harmony) she died while giving birth to the twins and they bitch ass daddy wasn't in the picture to begin with, in the beginning we all lived with my auntie until I turned 19 and bought a apartment for the three of us, Harmony was young when she died she was 17 years old and she was pregnant I was only 9, now I am a nurse at one of the best hospitals in New York I would really like a raise because this apartment we are in is too small it has two bedrooms and one bathroom, Joelle and Zola share a bedroom they didn't like it at first and they still don't but this is all I can afford right now hence why I want a raise.
Me and Mario ain't dating we just friends with benefits, he wanna be my boyfriend but ion get time for a relationship my main priority is making sure me and nieces are good.
"Thank you for helping" she smiles
"No problem" I say and get up going into my room
I see that Mario left, I sit in my bed and put my hair up in a bonnet then go into the bathroom to wipe my makeup off.
"Girl I'm in the shower!" Zola yells
"I'll be quick" I say and start to wash my face
"You've been using my skin cleaner?" I ask when I see a lil is gone
"Yeah, mines was all gone"
I roll my eyes and finish taking my makeup off, when I finished I cleaned up my mess and left purposely leaving the door open.
"Close the door!" Zola yells
I laugh and go back to my room, I know her ass gone be cold when she get out the shower.
I lay on my bed and play with my necklace me and Harmony have matching ones, she was only eight years older then me she looked out for me it hurted like hell when I found out my sister died.
"Buenas noches hermana" I say as I play with the necklace
(Good night sister)
I get comfortable in my bed and drift off the sleep thinking of my sister.

8:00am
I heard the alarm on my phone go off and I groan, turning it off I sit up and stretch then go to see if Joelle and Zola left for school an hour ago, when I see they did I go into the bathroom and do my business.
When I was done I flushed the toilet and washed my hands after I brushed my teeth.
An hour passed and I just got out the shower this is why I wake up hella early I gotta be at the hospital at 10:30 but I know it takes me a long time to get ready.
I dry myself off then wrap the towel around, I walk into my room dropping the towel I put lotion all over my body then my underwear and scrubs.
I take my hair out the bonnet and go back into the bathroom I fix my hair up I've been rocking my real hair for a minute.
When I finished with everything I go into the kitchen and make me an omelette to eat quickly, after I was done I washed my dishes out and grabbed my phone and see one of my best friends Alora is calling me.
"Sis I'm pulling up right now, bring a jacket it's gone be cold all day" she says
"Okay I'm coming down" I say and hang up
I go back into my room and grab a jacket, making sure all the lights turned off I grab my purse and phone then walk out the door.
"Hey girl" I smile as I sit in Alora's car and put my seatbelt on
"Heyyyy" she laughs and starts driving
"You too happy, what happened?" I ask
"Nothing it's just a beautiful day" she smiles
"Bitch is you high?"
"High off dickkkkk" she sings
"Hoe just drive" I laugh
We reach the hospital in five minutes Alora parks the car, getting out I close the door.
"Finally y'all here" I hear behind me
"Kaia I bet you just got here" Alora says
"But I got here first" she laughs
Alora locks the car and we all walk in the hospital we take the elevator to the third floor, when the door open we walk straight to put our stuff down.
Five hours later
"Hi miss Fletcher" the little girl say as I walk into the room
"Hi Maddie" I smile
"No needles?" She asks
"Nope not today" I say and walk over to her
"Here you go, take these" I hand her a pill
She takes the pill and smiles as I bring up her information on the computer.
"Okay everything's looking good so far, are you feeling any pain?" I ask
"No" she shakes her head
"That's good, if you need anything just press the button and I'll come back" I say as I turn the computer off
"Okay thank you miss Fletcher" she smiles
"You're welcome" I say and leave
As I walk to the back I hear yelling in one room I assume is a family but Dr.Harris comes out the room.
"What's wrong sir?" I ask
"Maybe you can help, go in there and calm the patient down" he says
"Okay" I nod
I walk into the room and everyone turns to look at me.
"What's the problem?" I ask Kaia
"I guess he has memory loss and is going crazy" she whispers and I nod
I walk over to the guy who was arguing with another nurse.
"Sir please calm down it isn't good to move around too much, you wounds can open up" I tell him
"I-" he starts to say but is cut off by the door opening
"Oh my god so it is true" I older lady comes into the room I move to the side so I won't be in her way
"David you scared us all" she frowns
"Sorry ma" he says
I look over at Kaia and we both leave the room.
"Wait were you going?" The man asks
"What?" I frown
"You just gone leave me in here?" He asks
"Sir I don't know what you're talking about" I say
"Come on now Ari, you can't do yo husband like that" he laughs
"Sir you got it all wrong, I'm not your wife" I say shaking my head
"What have you done to my son?" The lady asks
"I haven't done anything" I say truthfully
"Ma'am please don't be disrespectful" Kaia says defending me
"Can you both leave?" She sighs and we nod
"What the fuck was that?" Kaia asks as we walk to the back
"I have no clue, I've took care of him sometimes but not much" I say confused
"Girl that was Dave East" She says
"Who?" I frown
"He's a famous rapper" she say as I open the door to the back
"I hope they can fix that up quickly" I sigh
Three hours later
"Thanks for the ride" I smile at Alora
"You're welcome, I'll see you tomorrow" she says as I get out the car
"See you" I say closing the door and she drives away
When I get to my apartment door I unlock it and walk in.
"Hey sis, how was work?" Joelle smile
"Good I guess" I shrug and take my shoes off
"Where's Zola?" I ask
"In the room doing her homework" she shrugs as I walk into the kitchen to wash my hands
"Can you bring her out here? I need to ask you both a question" I say and dry my hands
"Yeah sure" she nods and walks away
I walk into the living room and sit down.
"Yes?" Zola asks as they both sit down
"Do you guys know who Dave East is?" I ask
"Yeah he's a rapper, and he fine" Zola laughs
"But I heard he was in the hospital and is now in a coma" Joelle says
"Yeah he was" I nod
"Was? How you know?" Zola asks
"He's at the hospital I work at, and when he woke up he called me his wife" I say
"Whattttt?" Joelle laughs
"Why he think that?" Zola asks
"I have no idea" I sigh
"Alright I'm going to take a shower" I say and they nod

"Ma when Ariana coming back?" I ask
"Who?" She frowns
"Ariana, my wife ma" I say
"Dave you don't have a wife"
"You still on this? you don't have to like Ariana because I love her" I shrugs
The door opens I turn my head thinking it was Ariana but I seen the nurse she was with yesterday.
"Good afternoon" she says
"How are you feeling sir?" She asks me
"I'm cool, have you seen Ariana?" I ask her
"No I haven't" she says but I can tell she's lying
"You should focus on recovering sir, your wounds are healing so don't do too much movements and you'll be able to leave in a week and a half" she says
"Okay can you tell Ari to come in here?"
"No I can't sir she is very busy" she says
"Please for two seconds I just want to see her face" I beg
"Fine I'll go see if she can" she says
"Thank you" I smile
"David I have to go now, I be back tomorrow" my mom says and kisses my cheek
"Okay love you ma, tell Cash and Malachi to come see me" I say and she nods
As she walks out Ariana comes in.
"What can I do for you sir?" She asks
"Hey baby I missed you" I smile and pull her into a hug
"Sir why do you think I'm your wife?" She asks
"Come on now Ariana" I laugh
"I'm serious"
"We met in high school and it's been great since, how's your nieces?" I ask
I looked her in her eyes man she is so beautiful, I pull her in so she's sitting on my lap.
"What are you doing?" She asks with big eyes
"Gimme a kiss" I lean in but she covers her mouth
"No" she says getting up
"What's wrong with you today? you usually the one to be all up on me" I laugh
"Sir I'm not who you think I am" she says fixing herself
"Okay whatever you say" I laugh and get comfortable
Two weeks later

"Sorry ma'am my answer is still no" I tell Dave's mom
She came up to four days ago telling me to go along with this fake wife thing her son has in his head.
"Please I've never seen my son smile that big talking about someone" she begs
I don't answer her for a few seconds, I sigh and pinch my nose.
"Fine" I sigh
"Thank you so much" she hugs me
She grabs my hand and puts a ring on it, I look at her and frown.
"Dave leaves tomorrow so we have a lot to do" she says
"I hope your not gone make me live with him" I look at her
"Welll" she starts whistling
"Oh my goddd" I grown
"I have two nieces I'm taking care of" I cross my arms
"That's fine, Dave's house has enough space" she says
"Okay" I say lowly
