Uraraka rushes towards Bakugou trying to stay low to the ground, Bakugou simply blasts her away. Using her jacket, as a distraction as a decoy, Uraraka almost manages to sneak attack Bakugou only to get blasted away again
Sero: look at that reaction time-
Kaminari: seriously, the dude's insane. You just can't get the drop on him-
The fight continues as Uraraka tries to close the distance between her and Bakugou only to get blasted away
Tsuyu: is she okay?
Jirou: I can't watch it. Like, I always suspected Bakugou is a total sadist
Kaoru: really guys? Why are y'all taking pity? This a fight, Bakugou isn't just gonna let her win
Izuku: what do you mean Kaoru?
Mineta: why are you defending Bakugou???
Kaoru: look, it's just that-
Random pro hero: this is shameful! Listen kid, do you really wanna be a hero? Then stop acting like a bully! If you're so good then just send her out of bounds!
Cue booing from the crowd
Kaoru: tch, and he has a gall to call himself a pro. Pathetic
Aizawa: where is the man who started this uproar. Are you a pro? Because if you're being serious you can go home and hang up your cape. I'd suggest looking into another career
Kaoru: at least he has some common sense
Izuku: what does he mean?
Kaoru: and I thought you of all people would understand
Aizawa: Bakugou's fierceness is an acknowledgment of his opponent's strength, he knows she deserved to have made this far. So he's making sure to do whatever it takes to keep her at bay
Kaoru: well how about that
Iida: a meteor shower??
Izuku: she had a plan all along!
It's revealed that Uraraka used Bakugou's explosions to make debris, that's why she was trying to stay so low to the ground. Then she used her quirk to make them float
Now the plan can be put into motion, Uraraka releases the debris causing them all to fall down in hopes to distract Bakugou, however he makes a large explosion blowing away all the debris as well as Uraraka herself. Due to overuse of her quirk, she can't find the strength to stand up and falls over, out cold
Midnight: Uraraka is KO'd. Bakugou advances to the second round

Midoriya goes to his waiting room as Bakugou returns to the class
Sero: hey, Bakugou! Playing the villain huh? Must've been tough
Tsuyu: even if it was just because of who you were up against, you did make a pretty convincing bad guy
Kaminari: for real dude, I dunno how you were able to aim a powerful blast at a frail girl like that
Bakugou:*mumbles* I definitely wouldn't call that girl frail
Kaoru:*thinks* respecting your opponent now are ya? Hmph, never thought I'd live to see the day *out loud* soooooo, who's next?
Iida: Kirishima, tied breaker round
Kaoru: this might actually be an interesting fight
Present Mic: woohoo! We're finally about to learn who is the winner of the 7th match. Kirishima or Tetsutetsu
The two manly fighters have a quick arm wrestle in which Kirishima comes out on top
Midnight; Kirishima is the winner! Add him to the bracket
Kaoru: surprisingly intense for an arm wrestle
Present Mic: now we've got a full roster for the next round of the tournament!N let's get this party started now, ya dig?
Kaoru: this'll be a crazy fight
Uraraka: so the match hasn't started yet? Good
Iida: something horrible has happened to your eyes! You need to see recovery girl now!
Uraraka: I already did. This is....something else
Iida: oh, of course. How are you I'd be frustrated too
Kaoru: still, you did really well out there considering who you were up against.
Uraraka: thanks
Izuku: don't let this discourage you, this isn't the end of the road, just the beginning, there will be their chances
Tokoyami: he's right. It's not time to wallow use this fight as a source of encouragement
Uraraka: will do!
Iida: you two are so wise
Present Mic: I can feel the anticipation in the stadium! And that's because the second round's first match is gonna be epic! It's the guy who won his last match by a landslide and literally left half of the audience frozen! The hero course's Shoto Todoroki! And this kid I almost walked out of his first match up, but made a stunning comeback by showing some impressive moods! Also from the hero course, Izuku Midoriya,N
Iida: how do you guys think this match will go?
Tokoyami: it depends on whether or not Midoriya is able to get close to him
Uraraka: yeah, but that's the problem. How will Deku get in close to him? Any ideas Shiro?
Kaoru: honestly, the only way I can possibly see him winning this is if he can make Todoroki tire himself out from overuse of his quirk, but even then Todoroki can freeze a whole building with no effort at all. So Izuku will definitely have a hard time
Present Mic: both of these heroes in training have been frontrunners in the sports festival, but which one of these rivals will advance the next round? Prepare for Midoriya versus Todoroki!
Kaoru:*thinks* you can do it Izuku, I believe in you
Present Mic: begin!
Todoroki doesn't waste a moment creating a line of ice spikes towards Izuku, however izuku breaks this line by making a shock wave from his finger, almost sending Todoroki out of bounds
Kaoru:*thinks* good plan Izuku....but how long can you keep it up...?
Izuku continues to brute force through all of Todoroki's attacks. Seeing that his ice wall strategy isn't working Todoroki uses his ice to close the distance between the two. However Izuku is able to dodge and land encounter attack, however Todoroki simply uses his ice to stop himself from flying out of bounds
Todoroki continues with his close range assault but then Midoriya lands a hard punch to his gut
Present Mic: a solid punch! That's the kind of action I like to see!
Kirishima: hey he got a hit in! But something seems different about Todoroki.
Kaoru: yeah...and look, he's getting covered in ice, maybe his quirk does have a limit after all
Kirishima: wouldn't his fire negate this?
Kaoru: maybe so....*thinks* what kind of plan are you thinking of freezer burn...
Izuku: I'll surpass you!
He lands another punch
Izuku: it's yours! It's your quirk not his!
Todoroki stops for bit, almost like he's thinking. Suddenly, his left side becomes engulfed in flames creating an intense heat all over the arena
Present Mic:*le gasp* is that?
Iida: he's using his fire!
Endeavor: yes Shoto! Have you finally accepted your purpose? That's it! Very good! This is the drawn of a new era for us! With my blood in your veins you will surpass me, you'll live up to the reason I created you!
Present Mic: Endeavor only shouts words of encouragement? What a doting father
Todoroki sends another ice attack only for Izuku to jump over it, the two boys raise their arms to use their quirks causing a huge blast that utterly destroys the ring
Kaminari: this is crazy!
Momo: what's happening down there?
Kaoru: this...this is too much-
Present Mic' what happened just now? What the heck is up with your students?
Aizawa: the air around the ring has been thoroughly cooled down and then rapidly expanded when heated up
Present Mic: wait, so what caused the explosion? How hot did that fire get?? Geez, I can't see a thing, is the match still going or what?
The dust finally settles revealing the winner of this round
Midnight: there, Midoriya is...out of bounds. Todoroki wins! He advances to the next round!
Kaoru:*visibly distraught* that power...what the hell...I-I can't match that! What is up with those two-
Uraraka: hey let's go see Deku!

Kaoru: h-huh-? Oh...not now, I need to...collect my thoughts
Uraraka: oh okay, hopefully it gets better soon
Kaoru: yeah...
I stand up and head to my waiting room despite the staff needing to fix the ring before the next fight can start.
I'm sitting in the waiting room, thinking long and hard about what just happened
Kaoru:*thinks* I have a long way to go if I'm ever gonna be close to that level of power.....seriously....
I then think back to when I was much younger, and how my father used to compare me to other kids, and really just people in general who are able to deal out a lot more attack power then I could at the time.
Ha, you'll never be as strong as that guy

These were his favorite words to use on me, at the time they felt so true. Though I try not to think about it much anymore, it's really hard when you've been told these things your whole life....

And with that, I leave my waiting room and head off to the ring more determined than ever
