Y/N's pov:
Today I woke up just feeling shit. You know those days where you don't know why you feel like this, you just do. Well today is one of those.
Yes I was 16 years old, but today I just wanted to hang out with my mum. I have some snacks stored up in my room, so I grabbed them and laid them out on the bed and put mine and mums favourite movie on the tv so we could watch it together.
Me and mum don't spend that much time together, she's usually with Rose, and I'm mostly in my room or out with my friends. We are still close, but it's just different now.
I walked into Roses playroom, as I knew mum would be there and no surprise, she was. She was sat on the floor joking and laughing around with my little sister. Not going to lie, I did feel jealous. I wanted to hang out with her as well, she was still my mum, yet we don't hang out like we used to.
"Hey mum, I wondered if you wanted to watch a movie with me."
She looked up at me for a second before looking down at Rose once again. "Sorry Y/N I'm busy."
Tears began to fill my eyes. "Please mum. I really need you today. You can come and play with Rose again later."
She glared at me before yelling. "Y/N I said no. Can't you see I'm clearly busy. Whatever you need me for, I'm sure you can sort it out yourself. Your 16, and Rose is only 6, she needs me more than you. So stop being so selfish."
I couldn't hold them in anymore. The tears began falling, "S-sorry mum." I choked out before running back to my bedroom.
Slamming my door shut, I jumped into bed and began sobbing. Using the covers to muffle my sobs.
Scarlett's pov:
It had been a few hours since I'd last seen Y/N. I felt really bad for shouting at her. I'm not sure why I did it to be honest. I'm just having a hard time with her growing up, and I guess I thought pushing her away would make it easier, but it really isn't.
I knocked on her bedroom door, but didn't get an answer so I just walked in. Her room was a mess, things were everywhere and that's when I realised she was having one of those days. I always told her to come to me when she feels like that, and then when she does I just push her away. God I'm such a poor excuse for a mum.
Walking closer to her, I noticed her red tear stained cheek, making my heart break.
I decided I would start tidying her room for her - knowing that when she wakes up it would make her feel better.

Y/N's room was all tidy and I had made her favourite lunch for her. "Y/N baby can you wake up for me?" I said as I gently shook her.
She stirred and when she smelt the food she sat up, a smile present on her face. I put the food in front of her and sat down next to her.
Picking up the little card I had left her, she began reading it. A smile making its way onto her face as she got further along. No matter how much we fought, I knew we would always make up.
