Francesco and his sons were sitting in her room. They didn't tell anyone about Amelia's condition. No one. Not even their close relatives in Italy. Her uncles and cousins. It would cause chaos. Besides, the more people know, the faster it will travel through the illegal world, making them a target.
Eliza came the night before. She needed to stay near Amelia, so she doesn't panic on seeing a new doctor, when she wakes up.
They were all alerted when suddenly the heart monitor started beeping at a high pace.
Lorenzo stood up abruptly and rushed to her as Roman called the doctor.
Amelia finally moved. She wasn't laying still now. But it wasn't a good sight to witness. Amelia started flailing her arms and legs around, gasping for air.
She started screaming suddenly. Lorenzo flinched. All of the brothers did. They feared this. They were scared of their sister going through this.
Her screams lessened a little. But what she said next, pulled the ground from below Lorenzo.
"TEDDY." She yelled.
Tears filled Lorenzo's eyes. He just stood there wide-eyed, staring at his sister.
He couldn't control his emotions anymore as the tears started flowing down his cheeks, for the first time in ten years. Seeing this, Francesco was quick to engulf him in a hug.
" DAD. Teddy. They are hurting her. Please. They're hurting her. Save her. Dad. Mommy. She's screaming, Teddy." Amelia yelled as tears flowed out her closed eyes. She started sobbing.
Everyone stayed out of the way, quite unwillingly, as the doctor and Eliza did their work. The brothers wanted nothing more than to hold her in their arms.
After some seconds, Amelia finally fell silent. Her face red and tear-streaked.
"Her heart rate is finally in control." The doctor said.
"She may wake up anytime now." Eliza assured.
"You all need to eat. You're not looking healthy. Come on." She ushered them, giving them a sad look. Eliza herself didn't want to eat, but she had to make sure everyone ate something.
How will they take care of Amelia and Elena, if they weren't well themselves.
"I don't want to eat." Lorenzo said, sitting on an armchair in the room, when Eliza asked him to come too. Everyone was out of the room now.
"You need to eat Lorenzo." she crouched down before him and took his hand in hers. "You need to be healthy and energetic to help her." She said, caressing his cheek.
"She called me teddy." Lorenzo muttered, not looking at her. Eliza smiled.
"She called me that before she was taken." He wiped a tear away. He was dying to hear that word from her, since the day he saw her. But the word had too many memories. He didn't want her to be in pain.
"Don't worry. Just be patient and wait till she gets her memories back. I know its hurting you too. You can't hide it from me." She said, kissing his hand.
Lorenzo stood up, making her stand up too. He hugged Eliza tight.
"Thank you for everything, Eliza. I'm grateful. Really." He muttered into her hair. Eliza just patted his back.
This was the first time he was hugging her and she didn't want to let go.
"Okay. Now let's go." She pulled away reluctantly.
Everyone was sad. They ate just two or three bites and went to sit with their mother or sister.
Next day.
"Her heart rate is rising again." Mason yelled from Amelia's room. Everyone rushed to her room, to find her in the same condition as yesterday.
"Mum. Teddy, help me. Dad." She kept yelling as the doctors tried to calm her down.
Suddenly, she sat up straight, breathing heavily.
Eliza and the doctor froze at their places.
Everything stopped.
Lorenzo couldn't stop himself. He ran towards her, not caring if the doctors will stop him.
Amelia was covered in sweat and was gasping for breath, the events still playing in her mind.
"Ryan Brown." She uttered the first words. Everyone stopped in their tracks.
Amelia's gaze flicked around the room. Her red, puffy and teary eyes searching for him.
Her eyes landed on Lorenzo and she took a deep breath.
"It was Ryan Brown. There's no one he's working under. He's the boss. He kidnapped us." She said. All of the men were shocked.
Amelia suddenly seemed to remember something, as she threw the covers off of her. She stood up abruptly, causing her to fall down.
"Angel." Lorenzo exclaimed, helping her up.
"Mum. Is she okay?" She asked.
"She's absolutely fine. Don't get up, like that again." Roman said, setting the covers over her as Lorenzo laid her down.
"But I need to see her." She insisted.
"No. You're still weak. Have some rest." Lorenzo said, stroking her hair. He didn't want to leave her side now.
"He's right. You need rest, Amelia."
Amelia just sighed and closed her eyes. She slept within minutes.
"We need to get Ryan Brown." Francesco gritted.
Lorenzo clenched his jaw.
"He's gonna go through hell on earth." He said, in a cold tone Amelia still had to hear.
Everyone shivered a little.
"How has he been hiding till now?" Jace muttered.
"We reveal what we are to the illegal world to spread terror. He doesn't." Lorenzo said.
"I'm getting more people to work." Francesco said, rushing out of the room.
"I'm going to tell Mom." Roman said, walking out.
"I'm going to check the clinics." Eliza said.

Amelia stirred awake. The sun was setting. She looked around the room, no one was there. Thanking her luck, she climbed out of bed, slowly this time.
She tiptoed through the halls to Elena's room. Surprisingly, no one was there too.
Everyone was working to get the bitch. With the help of his father, Lorenzo would be able to find him more quickly.
"Hey." Amelia said, as she sat down. She was beautiful. She looked so pure and admirable. Amelia kept staring. It wasn't hurting her now.
"You know, I told you, I don't remember anything? I got my memories back. I still don't remember the faces of relatives though. But I remember the main events, the traumatic ones and the happy ones."
"I'm sorry. I know I apologized before. But I'm sorry. I blamed you for something you never did. You did so much for me. All the torture and shit."
"You are a badass fighter, I must say." She said, with a chuckle. Her tearful eyes, shone in the dim lights.
"I'm here. Your baby's here. I'm waiting for you to wake up." She said, softly. She hesitated, looking at Elena's hand.
She touched her hand. It was so soft, like that of a baby's. She took her hand in hers and kissed it.
"I'm waiting." She broke down sobbing. She clutched her hand tightly in hers and cried for a long time.
Only her sobs could be heard along with the regular beeping of the heart monitor.
She could still hear hee screams and the scenes kept replaying in her mind.
"I'm sorry you had to go through so much." She said, in between sobs.
After a long time, when Amelia had cried enough, she got up and walked out, wishing her goodnight.
She went to her room and slept.
Lorenzo's POV.
"I have my men everywhere, trying to find him." I said. "He works alone. No one knows what he's doing at a time."
"He can't hide forever." Dad said. "I've set my men to work. We'll find him. Don't worry." He said, with a hope.
I nodded.
"Go have some rest. You haven't slept since she went unconscious." Dad said. We nodded.
"You too." Grayson said.
We got up and made our way to our rooms. I went to my room and changed. I walked out and started towards Amelia's room.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME." That's what I heard, as I approached her room.
