I clicked my pen over and over again from the boredom that circled my mind
My head drops on the table and I ruffle my hair in thought or maybe frustration
I stare at the clock, it somehow not even moving its place
I frown at the sight and grab my phone to text Zuko to hang out, it was better than lazying around
. . .
" still no major seriously?" Zuko gaped his mouth open from the expected news
I nodded slightly
Zuko clicked his tongue and changed his position
"got any plans? got any ideas?" Zuko questioned
I nodded again slightly
"I'm thinking of studying to be a police officer or a firefighter or something in law" I shrugged
Zuko stared at me confused
"that's not a plan, but I guess it's a start" Zuko commented
I bury my head in my arms
"I just have no plans, I been so distracted lately" I fully admit
"about what?" I could feel Zuko wiggle his brows at me, it literally burned through my skin
"Katara" I breathed out
Zuko didn't seem phrased
"well what I can tell you is she really does miss you, wouldn't let me hear the end of it" Zuko rested his hand in his chin
"really? she does?" I said too happily and lifted my head up
Zuko nodded in response and make a surprised face suddenly
"say the gaang are hanging out this weekend, you should join" Zuko offered
I raise a brow, " where exactly?" I question
"just a browse around the city, heard theirs star gazing there" Zuko explained
"so maybe around night?" I questioned as it seemed to be the purpose of the whole hang out
Zuko nodded

The gaang were at their hangout
"hey Katara!" Aang tried to make a move and waved to Katara
Katara smiled and waved back exchanging no words
"Katara! your outfit is amazing!" Suki yelled and ran to hug Katara
Katara smiled and Aang stood there while Suki blattered on
"twinkle toes, you better make it up to Katara today" Toph appeared out of nowhere and scared Aang a little
Aang sighed and glanced at Katara
"working on it" he groaned as Toph punched his shoulder so he would reply
. . .
"this looks cute" Toph gave a headband to Katara
Katara stared at the headband in confusion
"buy it and wear it, it looks good" Toph shoved to Katara
Katara observed
"it does look nice, sure thing" Katara agreed easily
Toph smirked and got the matching headband for a 'boy' and shoved it to Aang who was observing the bracelets
"here twinkle toes, I did the job" Toph said proudly of herself
Aang stared in confusion, Toph not giving the plan
"whats this?" he asked, pointing at the headband
Toph rolled her eyes like Aang was dumb, " seriously I gave Katara the girl matching one, you can both wear the matching set for a start and you can say you just picked it out" Toph rolled her eyes
Aang chuckled, " thanks Toph" he thanked very gratefully
Toph pointed at the cashier and Aang nodded and payed
After the purchase, Aang wore it and was met with Katara wearing the similar headband
"hey Katara looks like we got the matching set" Aang waved and giggled a little from being nervous in her presence
Katara chuckled a bit
"wow, we must have taste " Katara joked
There was a couple of seconds of silence
"C'MON GUYS!" Sokka waved for the two to follow
Katara and Aang sheepishly nodded

"look at that ice cream stall!" Toph yelled to the gang
the gang looked and saw the ice cream stall with a old man selling couple ice creams
"I'm pretty hungry we should get some" Suki said to Sokka
Sokka nodded and like a gentleman, went up to the stall
"you want the set? i mean...it's on special" Katara made a move to Aang
Aang at the sudden gesture blushed a little and nodded
Then the two went up to the stall leaving Toph and Zuko alone
"is this all a part of your plan?" Zuko chuckled to Toph
She nodded in response
"good thinking...i guess..." Zuko faked smiled, he wanted to be happy for them, really

"look at you two love birds here" the old man mumbled as he passes the ice cream
Aang and Katara looked at each other and dismissed it
"were actually friends!" they both said in sync
"I heard that many times, they say my ice cream makes the two's love stronger" he chuckled
Katara and Aang shrugged it off and Aang grabbed the cone
The two then sat down next to Zuko and shared it as it was the couple set
"the star gazing place is not to far from here" Suki said to everyone as she checked maps on her device
"good, my legs were getting sore!" Sokka whined while rubbing his neck from the efforts
Everyone laughed at the statement

"wow the view is amazing!" Katara said after reaching the top of the stargazing hotspot
"amazing like you" Zuko said playfully
Katara rolled her eyes and playfully hit Zuko
Aang watched and frowned and moved on, it was just a playful gesture after all
As all of them reached the top, they took a turns for the telescope that Sokka somehow found
"it beautiful" Katara breathed as she sat down
Aang smiled at her relaxed face and sat down next to her
"so Kataraaa you thinking of dating again?" Toph said out loud
Aang and Katara both went red in embarrassment
"um...I'm waiting..." Katara dismissed
"well Aang's back, what do you think?" Toph hinted, crossing her arms
Katara glanced at Aang's red embarrassed face that he failed trying to hide
"um...i don't like him anymore...I still need time" Katara finished, she knew deep inside her, she wanted Aang back so badly but a lie wouldn't hurt
"haha me too" Aang lied, trying to change the topic
"okay you love birds" Toph waved
Toph gathered Zuko, Suki and Sokka to go somewhere and that somehow left the two past lovers alone together, it was a part of her plan all along, ever since Zuko mentioned the hangout
There was a very awkward silence
" listen did you mean what you said?" Aang made a move he might regret but thought it was now or never
Katara thought for a moment, thinking of a response, picking her words quietly
She buried her head in her knees and mumbled, " n-no i didn't"
Aang sighed in relief, "me either"
The two looked at each other for some time now, seconds into minutes, something changed in both their eyes
The intention something different only this time
Katara and Aang inched closer, lost in the moment...
They got closer and closer to one's lips...
