"Now, let's try it again: When did Romania declare war on Austria-Hungary?" Ethan asked his children, Constantine and Rosemary. They were currently in the library and, like every morning, it was time for their study sessions. Today, it was history.
"On the 27th of August, 1916." Constantine said.
His mother, Alcina Dimitrescu, was sitting next to them and smiled. "Very good. But let's move on to more difficult questions. It's good to know the facts, but you have to understand the context around the events."
Like Alcina had promised at the altar, their children would receive the best education possible. At first they thought about sending them away to boarding schools and universities across europe, but it was decided that they were safer by staying in the castle. Given the enourmous amount of books, that proved not to be a problem. Alcina and Ethan began teaching their children at a very young age, educating them in history, philosophy, art, science, languages, math, theology and even giving them music lessons.
And if some information was not available, Ethan could simply search for it in the internet. The future was arriving in the castle very slowly, as Alcina didn't want the children to be "spoiled by the wonders of modern technology". Nevertheless, she agreed to install a cinema room in the castle, where the entire family would watch movies together, mostly on the weekends. For now, they were watching old, Black and White films but they would one day move on to modern movies.
Ethan noticed Daniela entering the library and said a quick hello before taking one of the books and retreating into a corner where she started reading the book.
"What do you got there, Daniela? A romance novel?" Ethan asked.
Danielas cheeks immediatly turned red and she hid the book from his view. "No!" she denied. Of course, that was a lie. Everyone knew that she was reading these books, she sometimes spent hours every day in the library reading these novels. Yet despite everyone knowing about her "secret", she continued to deny it.
Midday...
"Aren't they the cuttest?" Cassandra asked.
"They sure are." Bela agreed. Alcina had recently given birth to two more children, twins. Another boy, George, and a girl named Francesca. The three daughters loved them like crazy.
"I wanna eat them right up." Cassandra commented, looking down at her siblings in the crib.
"Not literally I hope." Ethan muttered to his wife. She simply patted his cheek, giving him a look that made it clear that he had nothing to worry about. Of course, Ethan knew they wouldn't actually do it but he was well aware of the strength
"You know they are just playful." she told Ethan and took baby George, holding him in her arms. "You are so pretty, little one." she said to the baby, her voice gentle and smooth like silk. George giggled and reached out with his arms for his mother, getting a hold of her breast.
Seeing this, Ethan couldn't help but smirk. "Seems he takes after his father."
Realizing what her husband meant by that, she gave him a little shove. "Honey! Not in front of the children." she protested, yet couldn't help but smirking.
"Father, Mother? Where do your babies come from?" Cassandra asked.
"Cassandra, we know that already." Bela said.
Her sister grinned. "I know, but I wanna hear Mother and Father say it."
Ethan blushed but Alcina rolled her eyes. "Now now, daughters. Behave."
"Of course, mother." they said in unsion.
"Now, as to your question..."
Evening...
Ethan entered Belas chambers. "Bela, dinner is served. Are you..." He stopped when he saw her standing at the window. When he came closer he saw that she was crying.
Bela. Crying. It seemed surreal, she was the most stable one of the three sisters. "Bela, what's wrong?"
Again, she didn't answer. Looking out th window, Ethan was able to see the village and the church. A wedding was taking place, truly a beautiful sight.
Bela couldn't take it anymore and sat down. "Do you... wanna talk about it?" he asked carefully.
She shook her head. "No."
"I see... Can I just sit here with you."
"Sure." she said, shrugging.
Ethan sat down next to her on the bed and gentle placed her head on his shoulder. Sh eaccepted the gesture and continued to sniff He didn't speak another word, just sitting there and letting her know that he was there for her.
"I miss him..." she finally said after a while.
"Who?"
"When I was still human... I was in love with a young man and he with me. We... we wanted to marry."
This surprised Ethan. He never would have expected somthing like that, but he let her continue at her own pace, not asking any questions."
"After I was turned, he snuck into this castle, looking for me. He was so brave... and foolish. He found me but... since I had just been turned, I couldn't control my urges and... and his blood smelled so tasty and I.... and I.... Oh god!" she broke down and cried. Ethan wrapped his arms around her, pressing her head against his chest.
"I'm so sorry." he whispered.
"It's not your fault." she said, wiped away her tears. "Actually that was another reason why I helped. Back then when you first came to the castle. You... you remind me so much of him." she confessed.
"Oh Bela, you poor thing." he said, giving her a handkercheif. "Do your mother and sisters know about this?"
She shook her head. "No... you're the first I've told this." she said weakly. "Can you keep this between us?"
He smiled. "Of course. And don't worry, you'll soon find love again."
Bela scoffed. "Yeah, right."
"I'm being serious. Anyone who doesn't want you is an idiot."
This finally brought a smile to his daughters face. "Thank you father." He continued to comfort her before they headed downstairs for dinner.
After dinner...
Returning to their chambers, Ethan noticed that Alcina wasn't there. "Alcina?" he shouted.
"In here. I'm taking a bath." he heard her shouting from nearby. She wasn't in her bathtub but there was another room.
The bathhouse, a giant room with a pool of blood, made from victims of the Dimitrescus and collected bloodbags.
And there she was, wearing nothing but her hat and jewelry. "Hello hubby. Care to join me?"
He was unable to speak. Even after all these years, she still took his breath away. Demon, angel, succubus, siren, goddess. She was all that and more. Teasing him with her curvy and naked body, Alcina grinned. She was happy to see him having this reaction. "Come and take what is yours." she moaned into his ear.
Ethan couldn't take it anymore. Faster than he thought was possible, he got rid of his clothes and joined her in the blood pool, something he usually didn't do. But she was just so fucking irresistable. He didn't care about the blood at this moment.
They soon become one and he started pounding into her with love and passion. "Ohh, careful." Alcina said while adjusting her hat. She knew he loved it when she wore it during their lovemaking. "You might get me pregnant again."
"I don't care." he groaned into her ear, which sent a shiver down her spine.
"Ohh but we only have so much space to spare, my darling." she fake-pleaded with him. In reality, the chances of her getting pregnant were still quite low. After Constantine, it took more than a decade before the twins were born but she knew that this kind of dirty talk drove him wild.
"Like I said, I don't care." he said. "Oh, Alcina you are perfect. I wish I could ravage you every day and night, all the time."
"Mhhh, yes keep going." she moaned and bit into his neck. The smell and taste of his blood only added to the immense please she felt.
"Tasty?" he asked.
She licked her lips. After learning that Ethan was made of mold, they had a discussion about it and it was decided that he got the cure. It was long and painful process, but he recovered and was now 100% human again.
"Mhhh... tastes different. But sooooo much sweeter." she said and took another bite. All of this drove the pair into overdrive and they orgasmed at the same time.
Now sweaty, they both took another dip in the pool and he kissed her on the lips. "I love you."
"Love you too, my darling husband." she whispered into his ear, wrapping her arms around him.
Night...
"I'm gonna come find you, little man-thing." Bela said while chasing Ethan through the castle. He loved playing catch with his new daughters and he thought after todays revelation, she needed a distraction.
She had cornered him in one of the halls. "Aww, no place to run?" she said, still pretending to be chasing her next meal.
"Oh no, please don't hurt me." he pretended and held up his hands for protection.
"Oh no no no. Now you will experience the full might... of the tickle monster!" she said and tickled her father.
"Hey stop that!" he laughed.
"I win." she laughed and jumped up and down. She loved playing with her father, this was so much fun. "Alright, now you. Let's see if you have can catch me."
Ethan looked at his watch. "Tomorrow maybe, it's getting late."
Bela pouted but agreed. She turned on her hells. All of a sudden, she felt the floor benath her gave way. Looking down, she saw that she had pushed one of the tiles further into the ground. Suddenly, the wall behind them opened up, revealing a door and four faceless angel sculptures emerged from the floor. Just what had they stumbled upon?
"What... is this?" Ethan asked.
Even Bela didn't know and shaked her head. "I don't know."
"We should tell your mother. I'm sure she knows more about this." he said and wanted to walk away, but Bela held him back.
"Father, we can solve this mystery together. Just letting mother tell us is sooo boring. This could be so much fun." she pleaded with him.
At first, Ethan didn't want to do this but then he saw the exitment in his daughters eyes. She really was exited. Finally, there was something different to do in the castle. He nodded. "Alright. Let's do this."
