While Izuku was planning, teaming up and successfully getting rid of All Might, all the previous user were able to see and hear everything what happened. There was still a week link between OfA and All Might too. However, the link between the quirk an Izuku was getting stronger with each passing minute.
It was at the beginning of their trip to the island that the previous OfA user came all together and were like Nezu anticipating the beginning of the game. They were currently listening into the conversation of the villain's team while they are being transported to the island.
