"I'm sorry sir, I think you are mistaken. She's our staff, my co-worker who work as a consultant here. The list of partner you want is in this catalogue and you can take time choosing one before we send someone to assist you," Chaeyoung quicky corrected the man before Haewon could catch what they were talking about. The woman is now back at checking files and other works and she is glad Haewon didn't hear anything. Jungkook stayed quiet after her words and just nodded before taking the form and the catalogue before walking away with Taehyung to a spot which is provided with two sofa and a small table which faced the garden. The company is damn rich.
"You are bold. How on earth you can just pick a lady from the receptionist?"
"Shes beautiful, so I thought she might be in the service"
"Everyone here is beautiful Jungkook. But she might not trained to be a partner for rent. You read how Love Inc. choose their women and men wisely for the work. "
"They fit the beauty standards. I know. And she isn't?"
Taehyung sighed. Seems like Jungkook wasn't that keen on seeing the difference of the woman and the women in the catalogue given. To be honest, if anyone came here to have a partner, they wouldn't even bat an eye to the ones working as consultant, the normal worker who works behind the computer and files. The models they were presented to was goddesses and gods of look, why bother settle for a boring one?
Haewon and Chaeyoung was considered as the normal one, usually they are taken to be part of Love Inc. as they failed the evaluation test to be a temporary partner, the most highly paid work in Love Inc. All they do were dressed up prettily, be the elegant or cute or masculine, anything that suits the client preference. For Haewon and Chaeyoung, they worked behind the scene. Set the partner dates, make sure they are well, check them in and out and other things to run the company smoothly.
It is nice for Love Inc. to still take them to be part of the company, but it hurt most of them much. They will have to be remind that they didn't fit the standards in the society and their looks weren't desirable to be put in the catalogue. That's why Haewon sometimes detest her work and envy the agents who entered with smiles on their face and all they have to do is sit still look pretty. It is a reminder to her that her looks were the average one, and her faith is only to be an office worker.

The two man then were reading every profile but nothing suits Jungkook taste. Too fancy, too dress up, too clingy, too stoic, too this and that. He's being picky and Taehyung knew why. He won't be choosing anyone in the catalogue. The agents looks nice and good, why will Jungkook rejected them? They were even rated with the highest rank and Jungkook don't even pay enough attention on it.
Suddenly, they were greeted by a woman, and the both of them looked up. She smiled at them before taking a seat at the single couch and proceed to introduce herself. "I'm Taehee, a consultant that will assist you today. Can I have the form, Mr. Jeon?"
Jungkook gave it to her, and she took it before skimming and scanning it less than a minute. Then she took out her note book and pen that was with her all along and started to consult.
"You can choose any woman or man here, or do you have a preference for yourself? We do fit the beauty standards here. "
"Her, I want her,"he said, almost cutting her off and Taehee looked at the finger that was pointed at the another table. Haewon is now consulting a woman and her hair has been tied up, her collar is now neatly placed and her legs folded as a table for her to write at her notebook. Taehyung who looked at the same view groaned internally, knowing that Jungkook is adamant to have her. But he knew his bestfriend wasn't the type to fall in love at the first sight, so why he still wanted her?
"I'm sorry Mr. Jeon. But you can only choose someone in the catalogue"
"You say I can choose based on my preference right? Then she is what I wanted for. A normal woman who worked her ass of and not just to sit beside me and look pretty. And she's pretty. Why can't I choose her?'
You dumbass, the reason I brought you here is exactly to let someone just to sit beside you and look pretty stupid! Just for a week not for a whole three to five months!, Taehyung screamed in his mind, regretting suggesting Jungkook to try Love Inc. He should have just let the man drink his whiskey until he die. Why did he even thought Jungkook will be easy to deal with?

"Then make her available for me, Miss Kim Taehee," he said darkly and Taehee almost yelled at the man for pressing her button. Standing up, she put aside her notebook and smiled at the man. "Wait here, I'll ask Miss Lee to consult you regarding this issue and if she disagree with this, then I hope you reconsider choosing someone we can provide or you may walk yourself out,", she said, adding sarcasm in her words and walkes away to Haewon who is talking with her client. From a far, the men saw Taehee bending down to Haewon ear level and whispered something to her. They didn't get to see he reaction, but Taehyung knew this meeting is going to be long.
"I told you just to choose for a week. Why are you making a fuss as if you are keeping someone for five months?"
"I have my reason"
"Care to share?"
"No, not yet," he said and the latter pouted before grabbing the catalogue and looked at it. Jungkook is crazy that he wasn't even bewitched by anyone in the catalogue. Even the first woman was beautiful. She even have some good records so why Jungkook skipped her?
"She's coming"
Jungkook break the silence and they looked at her who walked to them alone. Taehee was leave alone at the back to help Haewon client, as they exchange their work. She greeted then with a smile before sitting down and straight forward looked at Jungkook with curious eye. "I believe my colleague have told you that I'm not the one you can choose in the catalogue?"
"Yes"
"So I'm repeating back her words, Mr Jeon. I'm not the partner you can rent in Love Inc. I hope you understand the company protocol"
"And I'm repeating myself, that I want you to be my partner for the paid time. Isn't thay easy?"
"You stated yourself that you don't want anyone who just sit beside you and look pretty. If I were to be your partner, then I will have to leave my job when I'm with you and still have to look pretty, sir. There's no difference from it"
"There are difference, in the future Miss Lee. And I can pay you twice than the company without them knowing. Don't you need money, Miss Lee?"
That triggered her. She indeed is paid nicely from her company, but it isn't enough for her to chase her long time dream before she was stuck here. If the man can provide her the financial income higher than her salary, then she don't see the why she will have to decline his will. Besides, the two man looked loaded and being pretty and nice for a while won't hurt. She do need a break though, she had been working here ever since she finished her degree. A degree that wasn't even related to her work now.

He smiled."You will know sooner or later. So do you agree on being my partner temporarily, Miss Lee?"
"You'll pay twice isn't it?"
"Yes, and maybe more than that if I find you trustworthy enough"
"And you have to know, that I have no basic in being an agent in Love Inc. So don't expect me to flirt and entertain you 24/7 straight"
"Yes, and that's why I choose you"
"For how long?"
"Three to five months. Depends on how long I want you," with his words, Taehyung looked back at him in disbelief. He was being serious about having her to be by his side until he die. Just what is actually happening in Jungkook head? Did he damaged his brain too?
"That's..long. I might be jobless for that time. And if the company were to know about this, I might be fired"
"I told you I'll pay you twice higher than this company. And for the future, you won't hold mine but I might hold yours. Believe me, if you ever got fired than what I left you will be sufficient enough until you find a new job"
Haewon mind juggled. Was it worth it? Why the man even think to have her? Is he planning to do something more than stated in the contract? But he look believable, and Haewon knew this is only a one time opportunity for her. With the money , she might chase her dream to open the bakery her father and her had dreamt of along with her late mother wish. She can stop working at Love Inc. and bake as much as she want. She had to take the chance, and this is the right time for her.
"Then, I'll bring the contract and Chaeyoung will start the negotiation. Bear in mind that this is only disclose between us. No one should know about this and the only consultant that know about this contract is Miss Kim. If the higher ups caught us then-"
"I'll be responsible for your future and present, Miss Lee," he said calmly which let Haewon let out a sigh. Seems the man wasn't even afraid at all with her warning. Even the other man look horrified at his idea. Seems like his friend was in bewilderment himself.
"Well then, let me introduce myself. I'm Haewon, Lee Haewon"
"I'm Jeon Jungkook, you can call me Jungkook"
"Welcome to Love Incorporation, Jungkook and I'm you temporary partner for next three to five months"
