He looked up at her worriedly. - "Hey, I want to ask you something."
He caught her attention again and his face got a serious expression with a bit of sadness that could be seen in his eyes. - "I know this might be getting annoying to you or something, I won't push you to answer if you don't want to, but I just wanted to let you know that you have friends now and you can trust us." - He said as Y/n seemed a bit shocked but felt warmth in her heart. - "So please, if there's anything, no matter what it is, that bothers you, please share it with us!" - Itadori exclaimed as he shouted a bit in the end. He looked worried and sad by knowing someone must be having a pretty tough time while they are keeping it all inside and hurting themselves like this. Especially, when this someone was his new friend.
Soon he got taken aback. Y/n was crying in front of him with a soft smile.
"A-ah! I-I'm sorry, Y/n! D-did I say something I shouldn't have?!" - He asked, panicking at the crying Y/n.
She shook her head "no". - "Th-thank you, Itadori."- She said while crying. - "This is the first time someone is being kind to me."
"Eh? Th-the first time?" - Itadori was shocked from what he heard and he clenched his fists. He then hugged Y/n tightly, petting her head gently. She stopped crying after this but trembled a bit as she didn't know what she should do.
"It's alright, Y/n. You can hug me back if you want. You are not alone anymore."
With this said she clang onto his shirt and began crying loudly, burying her face in his shoulder. Itadori kept on petting her head with his left hand while hugging her tighter with his right arm.
They stood like this for a while until Y/n calmed down. He let her sit on his bed.
She wiped off her tears and smiled at Itadori. - "Thank you so much, Yuuji! I really appreciate all this!" - She said smiling at him. He was shocked at first seeing her smile but then calmed down and smiled back at her.
"Any time, Y/n! I hope we will be able to help you out with what bothers you. Also, you really are very beautiful when you smile!" - He said grinning at her, making her blush a bit.
She then looked down putting on a sad expression. - "About me being emotionless.." - Y/n began and Itadori listened closely, ready to comfort her if she were to break down again. - "The reason for all this..." - She just stared at the floor for a while, as if she was trying to find the right words in her head as well as finding the courage to remember everything and bringing herself to say it.
Soon she finally had the courage to say it all.
"It all started after I turned 3 years old. This was the time when they understood almost all of my abilities. They wanted to train me to be the strongest."
"The strongest? But isn't Gojou-sensei the strongest?" - Itadori asked confused, interrupting Y/n.
"He is. But he is not."
"Eh-?...." - He looked even more confused.
"Let me explain. He is the strongest sorcerer. But he isn't the strongest of all because I exist."
"So you are saying you are even stronger than him?!" - Itadori said with shock in his voice.
"You could say so. I have infinity and anti-infinity. Anti-infinity can nullify his infinity, giving me the chance of getting a touch on him and allowing me to hurt him."
"Y-you don't have this kind of intention, do you?" - He asked with an innocent yet concerned face.
"Of course not. I don't want to hurt anyone, my power is for saving not for killing." - She looked at her fist as she clenched it while saying it.
Itadori was amazed by what she said and smiled.
"After they started training me," - Y/n continued and Itadori was taken aback and listened closely again. - "They put me through worse than hell." - Itadori was shocked after hearing this. - "Thanks to a technique I luckily, yet unluckily, have, they did whatever they wanted to me. I couldn't show any emotions nor speak a lot or it would get worse." - She was looking down as her eyes got teary. She kept on speaking as Itadori put his right hand on the back of her head and petted her gently.
"I wanted it all to end as it was getting even worse as I grew up. My parents were killed right in front of my eyes when I was 12 year old by curses and by then I couldn't feel a thing, which still scares me to death whenever I think about it..." - Itadori didn't know what to do nor say so he just held her in his embrace, trying to calm her down.
"Three years later my grandfather, my mother's father, wanted to enroll me to your school but with really strict training while I was also training at home. Soon after I started as a first year I was able to run away from both school and my home. But it was all hard to forget and so I was an emotionless person, hiding themselves in the shadows till now."
As she finished telling her story, she heard a sobbing and saw that Itadori was crying.
"I-I'm so sorry, Y/n! I-it must have been more than just tough for you!" - He said, crying on her shoulder.
"It's alright, Yuuji, It's over now anyway." - Y/n said smiling. - "Thanks to you I feel safe and that there is someone beside me."
Itadori blushed as he stopped crying and hugged Y/n even tighter.
"You really are amazing, Y/n!" - He said as he calmed down and fell asleep while hugging her.
Y/n felt that and smiled. She petted his head then placed him comfortably on his bed, wrapping him with his blanket.
"Thank you, Yuuji. You are my best first friend. Have sweet dreams." - Y/n said as she smiled and then left his room, heading towards the girls dorm rooms.
Once she reached the doorknob and opened the door, Kugisaki greeted her a bit worried.
"Oh, you are back, Y/n-san! You took pretty lo-" - She stood up as she spoke then noticed Y/n's face that wore a small smile. - "Y-Y/n-san is everything alright?" - Kugisaki looked shocked at the so far emotionless girl that just showed emotions for the first time.
The girl nodded, returning to her usual emotionless state.
"Also, just call me Y/n."
"Hmm..." - Kugisaki nodded then returned to her questions. - "So, what took you so long? Where were you? Did Itadori find you?"
"I was with Yuuji till now and yes, I sensed them when they were close to me."
"When you say you were with him and returning with a smile..." - Kugisaki sighed. Then her eyes widened. - "W-wait... Th-them?!" - She screamed in disbelieve.
Y/n nodded. - "It's not a surprising thing.
After all their presence, especially the one of his curse, is pretty strong." - She explained.
Kugisaki was still shocked but soon were able to manage the information and calmed down.
"How are you able to sense the presence of others and like recognize what grade the curses are?" - She asked Y/n as she sat down.
"Practice plus it's a natural ability." - Simply replied the girl.
"I see. This is a nice ability tho also a bit scary." - Kugisaki said as she looked at the ceiling. - "And so, what were you doing with Itadori?" - She asked with a smirk.
"Nothing, just talked a bit. He's asleep now." - Y/n replied simply.
"Oh, is that so? He seemed pretty worried as he dashed out of the room after you. Did he say anything?"
"He just apologized for Fushiguro's words."
"Ah, they were pretty harsh no matter who they would be told to." - Kugisaki said as she rubbed the back of her head. - "This dork is even dumber than Itadori. He should learn what to say in front of others."
"It's alright. I'm used to it." - Y/n said emotionlessly yet with a bit pain seen in her eyes.
The other girl looked at her worriedly. - "It still isn't a good thing. Plus he doesn't know what you've been through, nobody knows probably, except you. So he has no place to just judge you." - She seemed annoyed while saying it.
"Thank you, Kugisaki-san, but it's really alright." - Y/n smiled a bit at the fact Kugisaki stood by her side too.
She blushed a bit at the sight of Y/n smiling then smiled herself. - "You have a beautiful smile, Y/n." - She said softly.
Y/n blushed a bit. - "Th-thank you, Kugisaki-san."
"Ah, cut it out, call me Nobara. Also, what's with the san?!" - Angrily yet jokingly she said to Y/n.
"Eh, I'm sorry, N-Nobara."
"It's alright." - Kugisaki said as she chuckled a bit.
"Now, lets go to sleep, it's gonna be a long day tomorrow probably and you should be tired already." - Kugisaki said, patting on the bed next to hers.
Y/n shyly changed her clothing and laid on the bed next to Kugisaki's.
"Good night, Y/n." - She said smiling at Y/n.
"Good night, Nobara." - The girl answered with a smile.
